We have bought this product several times for our super chewer. She destroys any cloth-based toy, as well as pretty much anything with a squeaker in it, and this is no exception. However, we buy them because they are so cheap that we don't mind her destroying them. It will last maybe a week or two? In the first day, she will rip out both squeakers (they are two), and we'll be on the lookout for them so we can confiscate them for her safety. After that, she'll rip the limbs off and eventually rip it into tiny pieces to be disposed of. That being said, there is very little stuffing in this (I think only in the head?); there is ROPE inside. We throw away the stuffing as soon as its exposed, but the rope lasts a decent period of time (around two to three weeks, longer if you braid it periodically to preserve it). In the end, we have to clean up little scraps of fabric and rope by the time the toy is completely destroyed, and we wouldn't recommend this unsupervised for a dog that likes to swallow toy parts. However, it is a very fun toy for dogs to shred into tiny pieces, and it holds up a decent amount of time for the price. We will probably buy another in the next two or three monthsSuperToysPlease

Our 2 y/o German shepherd hasn't been able to have plush or soft toys since he was about 6 months old. He would saw them into shreds. The first thing he did when he got this was remove the ears. He must have done it quickly because I watch him and cut off the ears, arms, legs with scissors before he removes them himself. But he did it before I saw him. So first day the ears are gone. Then fox got a few rips in the bottom. But he's been playing with this for days and it is still pretty much intact. He squeeks it himself and sometimes carrys it around or falls asleep with it. I thought this toy would be tougher, but I guess my dog has bested yet another toy. I did really like that there was no stuffing. The rope inside is still intact though and my dog still enjoys a good game of tug of war. I guess the bright side is now we have two toys instead of one since he separated them.iceburge

This is the only plush toy I have found that holds up to dog use and abuse. Chances are your pup will get the stuffing and squeaker out pretty quickly, but the toy is still great without them. No toy lasts forever so I bought a few of them. My dog plays with this toy for hours every day. It's his absolute favorite. I wouldn't recommend this toy for a dog larger than 20 lbs. however as every toy has it's limitations.treasure_cellar

Logan, our rescue pup, is in love with this squirrel that I found at the Supermarket. He sleeps with it, snuggles it and is just happy.
