This toy is so cute. It is a kitty that has a detachable push-type leash that is absolutely safe for kids, with no string at all. It’s very clever actually and easy enough for little fingers to manage. The music is be-boppin and speeds up when you push it faster, and works on a motion detector of some sort. I only wish for the love of parents that it had an on off switch. If you have a little someone that loves to take new “pets” to bed with them, this will keep playing music as long as there is a little bit of movement. That is the only reason I gave it four stars. It’s a cute kitty though with a lot of fun features so don’t let that stop you from getting. Just keep it in the playroom 🙂SuzyVA

The look and feel of the dog was great, and the fact that there were lots of commands it could follow was a bonus compared to other toys, however within a day or 2 the dog stopped responding so it had to be sent back. A very disappointed child and money spent on batteries that we can't use in anything else we currently own. Would buy again if there are any better reviews in the future.Min123

This toy seemed like a fun Christmas gift for my daughter. The dog worked okay for a week and then a leg busted so the dog couldn't stay up. We returned the dog and got a replacement. The second dog kept randomly dying all the time every couple minutes and just would not work. When I bought the toy there were no reviews out since it was new but now that it has been out a few months I see several people have had the exact same issues I have experienced. Overall, the dog is not a great toy. If it does work, the movements are really robotic and not life like. This toy is way too expensive to break or not work. Do not buy this!Topjak

Bought Two of these – One for each grand dog home. Shipped to family member where we have Xmas and “Pup Pup”, the resident parcel inspector and delivery announcer went bonkers when the ball was removed from the shipping box. The ball is very rigid plastic which prevents total instant destruction by the doxie tag team that makes short work of any toy in reach. The dog has learned to propel the ball with his feet like in soccer ,all the while barking with every gobble – giggle noise the ball makes when rolled along.Dog seems to like it .Thanks!Elf CAS

I would recommend this toy for a smaller dog or one who is not a powerful chewer. I know this is not intended to be a chew toy, but realistically, if you have a medium or large dog, they usually have a tendency to chew any toy you put in front of them. I have an English Pointer mix who normally destroys any toy I give him unless I get it from BullyMake or BarkBox. Unfortunately, neither offer a toy that compares to this one in terms of entertainment for your dog. He absolutely loved this toy so it is a shame that he was able to bite chucks out of it within 20 minutes. I can't find the pieces that he took out of it so I'm waiting to see if he passes them. If not, it will be a visit to the vet. He was so sad when I took it away from him and looked at me with those sad brown eyes. I would love to have one of stronger material that he could play with and not have to worry. The concept for this toy is spot on and I would give it a positive review for a smaller dog or a breed that is not a strong chewer.pompano01-us

My dog absolutely LOVES this ball. We got her one when she was just a puppy and it’s been her favorite toy since. She’s had it about 6 months and has destroyed it. I don’t mind buying one every six months because I get my money’s worth. Last night I went to buy her a new one, thinking she will have it another 6 months. WRONG. She has wanted a puppy, but due to her allergies we have not gotten her a real one, so this was a great treat for her! The first thing she did was name her puppy "sparkle." This toy takes four C batteries, which for this promotion came with. The quality of the puppy is great. A very solid toy. Also, pretty realistic for a toy puppy. The fur is super soft and great for cuddling with a young girl. The puppy comes with a collar and a leash (which is non-removable), this is the device for walking with the puppy. On the end of the leash there is the handle with the button for walking the puppy. You push the button and the puppy walks/barks/talks (of course in puppy language). On the top of the puppy's head there is a bow, which if it is tapped the puppy sits down. The instructions said that the puppy responds to voice commands, although not super clear with what commands it responds to. This puppy came with an optional application which can be downloaded to your phone or tablet. The application is free. This really optimizes the interaction that the child can have with the puppy. The puppy just has to sit close to the phone/tablet and they connect via blue tooth. There are numerous games that you can play with the puppy with the application and the puppy with interact according to what is being done. Very cute and intuitive application. It does make a bit of an annoying sound of the "talking" between the puppy and application. This puppy has played with the girls for hours. We received this product as a review from Hasbro. From the perspective of my 4yr old daughter this was a hit. This toy has gotten more teeth brushed and tea times that any of her other toys. Taking it out of the box and getting it ready was a breeze. She quickly caught on on how the buttons on the leash worked to control it. For the first few weeks I just let her play with just the toy and then showed her the Iphone app for this toy. It was like getting a new toy all over again. Initially she thought it was just a game and did not understand that it interacts with the actual dog. She still has not caught on to it yet but the app has kept her entertained. Her parents get a kick out of how when you wash the dog in the app the FURREAL Dog starts getting upset and makes noises to show it This toy also moves around by rollers, it does not walk. Movement on rough terrain was a bit unsteady. The noise leve from this toy is acceptable. It is not loud or overpowering. It has been a few weeks and she is still playing with it and having tea parties with it. So in her eyes she still loves it. NOTE: I received this product free from Bzzagent to honestly review. Though I might not have sought out such a toy on my own, I was excited to see how my four year old child would interact with it, and she was overjoyed at its arrival. The toy is even cuter in person, and well made. The fur is thick and soft, so the puppy is cuddly, her eyes appear almost bright and "shiny" and the mouth and nose look quite realistic, all things considered. The leash walking is fun and she seemed to respond quite well to the leash control button and moved fine on tile and carpet. The tail wag is very much like a real dog's, as are the head tilt and the playful open mouth expression. Sometimes the pup will also spontaneously charge forward on its own. My little one discovered that one cool thing the pup can do is be "stood up" on her back legs and then flip back down to the ground on her front paws. It would be nice if the toy could react to simple voice commands or to hugs, or run purposefully towards objects placed in front of it. However, as she is, there is plenty of room for creative play, such as running doggy daycare or a training obstacle course for pups (which is what my child and her friends have done, among other things). The variety of sounds she makes (from whimpering to dog singing to loud belches) is entertaining but random. One issue I have is with sound-based interaction. The toy is supposed to react to hand clapping by moving forward, but this seems to be a bit spotty and can be a little disappointing for smaller children when it doesn't work. Also, it's advertised as being compatible with a downloadable interactive app. My issue with the app is that only about 50% of the time does the dog respond to it in any way indicating that they're really interacting– it's supposed to make sounds in response to activities, such as getting a bath or being fed, but the dog just continues making random, unrelated noises. I'm aware that the phone must be placed close to the dog (and loud enough) for it to respond, but this has been very hit and miss. This could be a phone issue, I suppose, but there is nothing wrong with my phone or its volume. My daughter still enjoys playing with the app sometimes with her puppy next to her, and apps are definitely not a top priority in my book for a toy given to (in this case) a preschooler, but if I were paying good money for this toy, I would not have been very impressed with this function. Two months out, the toy has definitely not been abandoned in our household. The toy has seen daily use and still looks brand new. Battery life is great. This seems to be a very durable, quality-made product. Given a few limitations, I don't think that I would pay the current "going rate" for this toy (maybe the price will drop over time?), but it has been an enjoyable companion, and my little one certainly likes her.bluepoodles

Bailey loves this new interactive toy! She sees it and gets very excited. She has figured out how to open all the door, but it's not so easy that it doesn't make her work a little for them. Exercising a dog's brain is as important as physical exercise for a happy, healthy pet. The 'Trixie Dog Puppy Training Reward Interactive Game Toy' is a really good product to stimulate brain activity as it has three different methods of concealing treats and so requires the dog to tryout different approaches to opening the the chambers. It is well made and the rubber base prevents the unit from sliding around on the floor. I bought it to use with our adult Toy Poodle cross Dachshunds. They love it. Hello, my dog does like this; loves it in fact and gets all excited when I get it ready for her before going to work. It is sturdy, well made. The rubber underneath means it grips on a lino floor which is a really good design feature. I do think it's a little pricey – 10 would be reasonable in my view. However for me the problem is it's too easy for my dog. When I first got it, I filled it with treats and gave it to my dog before sitting down to read the instructions. I hadn't even reached the bit that said to' start off with only one hidden treat, and let your dog see it before covering it up' , before my dog had already uncovered and worked out every single hiding place. Took about a minute. Not really what I was intending when I bought it as a way for her to stay entertained when I go out to work. So if your dog is a bit slow on the uptake, then I'd say this is the perfect gift for them. Otherwise, search for something more challenging.tizoc37

I have 2 big dogs and I walk them everyday. My little one always wants to help but sometimes they are a bit hard to handle. Now with her walk along pet puppy and leash she can walk her dog with me. I love how you can add more that one dog on the leash and we will be getting a 2nd one to add to the dog she has. This toy is so much fun for me- and my kids! It brings back so many fun memories of birthday parties as a kid- and now I get to share Puppy Surprise with my own family. As soon as we got it, my daughter kept petting the mama dog. Once we got it out of the packaging, both my son and daughter loved taking the puppies out and counting them- we got five (four and a runt, four girls and a boy). They still love taking the puppies out and lining them up. They make a kennel out of an upside down laundry basket and play pretend with it. Penny, our teacup poodle, absolutely loves Zeus. She is so tiny that when she grabs onto Zeus her whole little head and body vibrates. I truly don't know who enjoys Zeus the most – Penny or all of us watching her bark, run after him or grab onto him and shake him with all she's got. I am a woman with a small frame but fit. My boyfriend and I bought this for our trail runs and hikes with our German Shepard mix. We often travel through rattle snake country. Our dog is close to 90 pounds! For me it’s too much weight to carry for a long period but I still carry the Airlift with me so I have a tool to solicit help from others with. My boyfriend can carry our dog confidently over rough terrain and actually had to use the airlift a few months ago when our dog got a bad cactus thorn wedged in his paw! The Airlift worked well. My boyfriend was pretty exhausted when he got home but got our baby home safe for a little paw cleaning and thorn removal. We have the size XL. 5 stars ALL the WAY! Great product!mark S

My dog injured his paws while hiking a 14,000 ft peak. I’m so glad I bought an Airlift rescue sling. I was able to carry him safely back to the car. It was a lot of work but without the sling, there’s no way I would have been able to carry him. I would suggest buying the shoulder padding if you have a large dog. Extremely disappointed in the omission of pertinent information on this product. As an avid solo backpacker regularly playing in the Rockies with large dogs, it was due time to invest in a product that would help in an unfortunate emergency. I am grateful we tried this out beforehand to know it’s useless for my body. As a once female collegiate basketball player and consistent weightlifter, there is no way-even with adrenaline-I would be able to lift my dog from a kneeling position to then being on one knee to standing. I ordered a medium which was well within the weight limits of our puppers (60 lbs). Even with my spouse’s help, the lift wasn’t possible. Only males are featured on the available product images; however, I don’t know a female or male in our network that could make this lift for a larger dog. Additionally, the straps dig in to your shoulders (skin scraping) but it seems inconsiderate to charge an additional $25 for ONE shoulder pad rather than include the padding to help an owner in a distressing situation. TLDR: not for the average person, not for large dogs, strap upgrade is nickel and diming the consumer, it is compact and packable, will be returning and continuing the search.accentnafr1661219 a
