The bowl arrived in a nice box, well packaged. It is in fact a giant bowl. It comes with extenders to set it up higher also. It says it holds 2.5 gallons of water, and appears to be sturdy enough to do the job of holding all that water. I have not tried it out yet. I found the description to be a bit unhelpful in describing the actual size of this bowl when I chose it. It is actually a bit larger than I anticipated, and I don't recall any mention about the capacity of the bowl when I chose it, but it may have said so. I haven't figured out what to use this bowl for yet, but it's larger than the space I have for my dog bowls. I've included a better picture to show the actual size of the bowl. My diva loves fresh water all the time. This bowl is a nice gunmetal color made of very durable plastic. Don't put more water in it than you carry across the room. I have 2 large dogs and often dog-sit for some of my family members (so sometimes there are 3 big dogs running around my house instead of just 2). I've wanted something like this for a year or more, but now that I have it, I'm not super impressed. Its easy to set up, but the taller you have it, the less sturdy it seems. I can't take it to the sink to fill because the plastic shifts in my hands and it feels I'm going to drop it or break it. This means multiple trips carrying water from the sink to the bowl. This also means I'll be less likely to remember to wash the bowl daily if I'm not bringing it to the sink. After one day, there was already a bunch of dirt left in the bottom of the bowl from my dogs getting drinks after coming in from the back yard. Normally, it'd be a quick fix – dump, wash, refill, return to its spot. But with this bowl, I have to dump, wash, return to its spot, then make multiple trips to fill it back up. We absolutely love our needer feeder systems. We have the largest Deluxe for our large standard poodles, we have a medium for our small standard poodle, and the smallest systems for our puppies. These bowls are great, our only dilemma is the website absolutely in no way makes it easy to determine which bowls go with which systems! We need something that makes it crystal clear which bowl you would need to buy for each system when you want additional bowls… It is always hit-or-miss, and results in disappointment upon rcvg our packages. …Like the slow feeder, is it supposed to fit any of the systems? Great product, not so great customer service. I purchased the Neater Feeder with slow feed bowl and my dog wouldn’t/couldn’t eat from the slow feed bowl. While this set costs more than the standard bowl, I could not get them to exchange for a normal bowl. Their only solution was to send the whole set back and reorder leaving me with no bowls until they came back. Ended up having to pay additional to get the regular bowl and now have a slow feed bowl that will never be used. Not a very customer friendly solution!Michael C.

We’ve had our fountain for 10+ years. We keep it indoors, and completely clean it once a month. It takes my husband and I about 15 minutes to clean when we work together. Got mine about 4 months ago and initially, I thought all my problems were over. I have two very large dogs and 2 cats. I was hesitant, at first cause it's not stainless steel (plastics harbor bacteria), but I really wanted the really large size, so I got it. I'm using this as an outdoor waterer for a rabbit. Selected this hoping the filters would prevent mosquitos from getting in water tank and reproducing as they had in my big poultry waterer. Doesn’t automatically dispense water at least half of the time. I’ve had to start walking by and checking/adjusting the jug multiple times a day bc the jug was visibly full but my dog was acting thirsty. Bc of the stainless bowl it’s hard to see unless you’re up close that there’s not actually any water in the bowl, despite the tank being full. I have to wiggle it or sometimes pick it up entirely in order to get water flowing again. It’s a great concept but it’s not built very well. I bought both the large and medium versions of this PetSafe Healthy Pet Water Stations for my dogs. These PetSafe versions are much better water stations than other water stations that I've owned recently. First, the fill caps are exactly the same and interchangeable between both the large and medium version. The fill caps also have spring cut off valves and a closable plug valve that is used with an added filter. The somewhat strange shape of their water reservoir bottles make the bottles much easier to carry. The black handles on the water bottles are primarily used to lock the bottles into the plastic bases. You can carry the larger bottle by its full grip handle, but not the medium bottle as there is no handle opening to wrap your hand around with the medium bottle's handle. Both of the water stations have a removable metal water bowls/basins which is dishwasher safe. About the only thing negative thing about these PetSafe Healthy Pet Water Stations is that they do NOT come with the special water filters as I expected them to because the filters were listed as "included" on the items web page. So I was a little irritated that these water stations didn't come with their water filters. My order took about a week to 10 days to arrive and they arrived on the same day in separate shipping boxes. These items were not shipped in their retail boxes but were instead sent in simple clear plastic bags that were taped closed.BillyDeeMe

Ordered two Yeti 8-cup dog bowls with customization – one Nordic Blue and one Nordic Purple. These bowls are great! They are heavy which we like. That and the non skid bottom make them very stable on our tile floors. Also like that these are food grade bowls. The lettering (customization) shows up better on the purple than on the blue. I bought 2 bowls for my dogs for Christmas and one bowl is already rusting and pitting these bowls are used in my home not out doors and the bowls are always cleaned and the water is frequently change and my dogs only drink bottled water I have 2 coolers and 2 tumblers a coffee cup 2 slim can coolers I like buying yeti stuff but the dog bowl rusting will put an end to that.This is not a get what you pay for situation these bowls are exspensive and should not rust and I should not have to use steel wool to clean them thats not the answer. With 4 Aussis girls we gave the Yeti Boomer 8 a try. Our girls are now enjoying a “Happy Hour” through out the day. It’s 5 o’clock somewhere, right? So to sum it up, I invested in the summit elevated bowls four years ago when Pet Junkie offered sizes small, medium and large. (I had three dogs at the time and ordered one of each size) well my medium sized Shar pei kept going for the large bowl which was at that time almost 13 inches high and too high for her. So I recently looked into getting another medium sized one specifically for her and my newest addition lol. Well I reached out to Pet Junkie because they no longer offer medium. However, they mentioned they altered the inches in reference. So I ordered a new large and omg it's perfect!!!!! The ten inch height is perfect and eventually I will replace all four bowls to the new large sized ones so they all match as well! Not only have these bowls held up very well for four years, they are a decent weight. Hard for my dogs to push around when eating and easy to keep clean!! I got this bowl for my road trips with my dog. I really like two things about this bowl. #1 – it doesn't spill. My dog is a big german shepherd and tends to spill more of his water than he gets in his mouth. This bowl changed that by blocking the water from splashing out of the bowl. #2 – it can be folded down for compact travel. I usually keep a large open ice water container in the back of my 4Runner for my black Labrador to be able to drink when needed during these hot summer days. Generally I like the product, but the finishing could be better. There is a sharp edge on inner lip in places and on some of the "diamonds" on top. Even I snagged some skin on my finger as I was inspecting. A way to lock in place so the bowl could be hung on a wall, instead of having to rest on floor. I really tried to make this fountain work for my needs. I have 3 large dogs that chewed the plastic off of the last fountain, so i was looking for a ceramic fountain that holds a lot of water. These are the perfect size for my outside porch for my three kitties in case they are thirsty during the hot summer months. I suppose they are actually meant for a medium-large dog but because they are porcelain I'm not sure they would be the greatest choice. they could easily chip or break of a large dog was rough with them. Quick delivery, no hassle and the bowl works a treat. With any other bowl we've had, the slightest knock would send water flying all over the floor. Not had a single spill since having this one and I've had a good try at it. Brought one as a extra bowl in the house and to use in the car. Since we have had it, the dogs wont use there old bowls anymore. For some reason they absolutely love it? They even wait by the sink when refilling! Can not fault the design, we have a very sloppy mastif and its reduced the mess by at least 75%. Buy the right size and it's a perfect feeding bowl. I bought the 4 cup size. As a puppy he is getting 3/4 cup x3 per day. More than enough room as he grows and transitions into twice daily feedings. Nice enough product, but not happy about sticker inside of bowl, so would not recommend it on that. Hard to get off and residue still there after weeks of use and washing. The aesthetic of this dog bowl is perfection. I love how it's enamel and has that camp vibe. That being said, I don't recommend this for dogs that play with their bowls or puppies of any kind. Had this bowl with two 8-week old puppies and they stripped the enamel off like baby sharks within minutes.
