I have a large black lab who is always full of energy and begging to play. We had a 3' rope that was his favorite but it was starting to fall apart from use. I was very excited to find this 6' rope for him. As soon as I took it out of the box, he grabbed it from me before I could even get the packaging off of it. It has a little bit of a stretch to it which is nice when playing tug of war. The rope is thick and sturdy and feels like it will last longer than his last one did. The colors are a vibrant blue, orange and black. It has 5 knots on it instead of just the standard 3 which gives more places to get a grip when playing. The 3 foot rope wouldn't leave much room between our hands and his excited mouth when he grabbed it. This 6' rope is perfect and keeps our hands out of the way. Absolutely terrible tug, cheaply made. My dog has seriously injured himself when playing with this. Elastic is weak and snapped and hit my dogs eye, he is now seriously injured and may potentially lose his vision in one eye. Dangerous and weak example of a flirt pole.arjo6335

I love this product and am very pleased with my purchase. Being telescopic, it's easy to carry around. Seems to be strong and hard-wearing (my GSD and BC are using it regularly and with great gusto) I am also using it with some of my private dog training clients and recommending it to them. It also comes with a spare tuggy end piece but if used correctly i don't think i'll need it for a while but nice to have the spare. Great product, thank you.brunomnop
