I have three pit bulls and they eat everything and anything ! All three smelled this product, gave me a look before taking and they spit out, sadly I tried a couple more times and my poor boy broke out in hives in middle night and it attacked his whole body and these dogs live outside and enjoys mold and what not! I was shocked and so angry and sad because even now he still has a lot, I can not find a part in your application that would assist on a situation like this at all, we shouldn’t have to wait and luckily I have common sense since I can’t afford the $300 vet, if not better by tomorrow I will be forced! My two girls wait for his approval thank god! But very dissatisfied and will never try any of these brands again period! Also I’m searching for the warning label your company says should be on all bags and that’s a lie unless you make it a good warning I am not seeing it at all! My English Bulldog, Buster, loves these bones. I give him one every night before his bedtime. I make a big deal out of it; we have a little routine. About 10:00 p.m. he comes and sits in front of me to tell me it's time for his bone. I take him outside, then back in for his bone. Before I give it to him, I have him do three tricks he has learned: he rolls over, speaks, and salutes (his Daddy is retired Army). Then he gets his bone. He gets very excited at bone time. These are my Siberian Husky Dempsey’s all time favorite biscuits. I can get them for a great price pretty much always on sale from Chewy’s website. If I need to buy them in store, I purchase from Petsmart use their price match offer. I purchase these religiously always have a bag on hand since these are pretty much his all time favorite treat. Since he’s a large dog, I go for the large biscuit size. But they also make a mini version which is great for puppies a small size if the large ones would be too big for your dog. Dempsey specifically prefers the Peanut Butter flavor, but they do make a handful of different flavors. Lastly, they also sell 6 pound boxes of these for a discounted price. You can get different sizes like the you can with the bags, and you can also get all one flavor or they offer a variety box which is typically a mix of 3 different flavors. I also introduced my boyfriend to this brand of biscuits now he avidly purchases them for his two Boxer’s. Definitely would highly recommend picking them up testing them out for your dog. They seem to have better ingredients than a lot of other treats on the market I definitely do my best to avoid giving my baby treats or food that have crap ingredients.morgan.h

I’ve been giving this to My Maiden for over a year, this is one of the treats I give her before bedtime, she loves this. Please keep this in stock always, there was a time when I thought Target was not going to carry them because they were out of stock at my store location, I ended up driving to two other Target store to buy what was left, I was panicking, like they were running out of TP, lol! I decided to write a review bc just the other day I gave both my dogs a milk bone dog biscuit like I do every day, a couple of times a day lol. And was watching both my dogs go crazy over these dog treats and they tore them up. Mind you my oldest dog is picky when it comes to treats and food, and usually always rejects anything I try to give her; but not these! I've been giving these milk bone dog treats to my dogs for years (everyday 3 times a day) and they absolutely love them. My pit bull really loves these things. She gets so excited when we say “treat” and runs right towards the cupboard we keep them in. She doesn’t usually even like biscuit type treats but she goes crazy for these things. They’ve helped us in treat training her. She seems pretty happy with the taste and her poops have been healthy after eating them. They’re supposed to help with cleaning her teeth, and her teeth are still in good shape, but her breath still smells like meat all the time. The only concern I have is that I read these have carcinogen chemicals and preservatives in the ingredients which are bad for your dog and can cause cancer. So now I try to give these to her in moderation just in case. I like how accessible these treats are since they’re sold in almost every major store. I would never buy these dog treats again. About a year ago I would give my new puppy these treats and she randomly began having bathroom issues. I then assumed it was her dog food and completely changed her entire diet and threw away everything I was feeding her. Recently, we started giving her the milk bones again and the other day she started the bathroom issues again. The past couple of nights she’s been so sick she can’t even hold it in all night like she used to, she wakes us up at 3am crying to go outside and do number 2. This morning she woke us up wanting to go outside and not only go number 2 but also when she went blood came out of her bottom, which is what was happening a year ago. I know this is from the milk bone because we don’t feed her anything other then her normal dog food now ( which works perfectly with her stomach) and these bones. And was watching both my dogs go crazy over these dog treats and they tore them up. Mind you my oldest dog is picky when it comes to treats and food, and usually always rejects anything I try to give her; but not these! I've been giving these milk bone dog treats to my dogs for years (everyday 3 times a day) and they absolutely love them. My pit bull really loves these things. She gets so excited when we say “treat” and runs right towards the cupboard we keep them in. She doesn’t usually even like biscuit type treats but she goes crazy for these things. They’ve helped us in treat training her. She seems pretty happy with the taste and her poops have been healthy after eating them. They’re supposed to help with cleaning her teeth, and her teeth are still in good shape, but her breath still smells like meat all the time. The only concern I have is that I read these have carcinogen chemicals and preservatives in the ingredients which are bad for your dog and can cause cancer. So now I try to give these to her in moderation just in case. I like how accessible these treats are since they’re sold in almost every major store. And I like that the company donates money to canine assistant programs that supply trained dogs to people with handicaps. I would never buy these dog treats again. About a year ago I would give my new puppy these treats and she randomly began having bathroom issues. I then assumed it was her dog food and completely changed her entire diet and threw away everything I was feeding her. Recently, we started giving her the milk bones again and the other day she started the bathroom issues again. The past couple of nights she’s been so sick she can’t even hold it in all night like she used to, she wakes us up at 3am crying to go outside and do number 2. This morning she woke us up wanting to go outside and not only go number 2 but also when she went blood came out of her bottom, which is what was happening a year ago. I know this is from the milk bone because we don’t feed her anything other then her normal dog food now ( which works perfectly with her stomach) and these bones. We have 2 senior dogs, both Dachshunds, so small mouths and sensitive senior teeth. These bones are PERFECT. Both dogs love them. They don't smell like anything special to me, I can barely smell them at all, but my dogs drool start to drool when they see me pick up this bag. The bones are small and they are crunchy but they are also very easy to chew, which is important to us for our dogs. Most crunchy bones like this are just too hard and I worry that they will hurt their teeth. You can easily break these bones in half and if you just squeeze them a little they will crumble. I have 2 large dogs and they really like the Vita Bone Original bone biscuits. I usually give each dog one biscuit after dinner a day. They know the routine. My dogs absolutely love these. They are small treats, but work for all sized dogs. My big puppy loves them just as much as my little beagle. i like that i can give them a few treats without feeling like i'm spoiling them. i also really like that they are soft, and not a problem for my senior dog to chew. These treats have simple ingredients, are soy and corn free, contain no artificial colors, flavors, fillers or additives! I bought a small bag of these to try with my 13 month old dog and he loved these as a high value treat! They were soft without being crumbly; perfect shape and texture to break into various sizes for training. So I ordered a large bag of the same type (this one). Unfortunately, all the biscuits are harder and far from soft. They can still break up into pieces, but the texture is firm and from his response during training, the value of their reward has lessened. I’m disappointed that the larger bag isn’t the same quality as the smaller was, so in the future I will stick to the smaller package. However, I fully plan to continue purchasing these treats because he still likes them.Brian

Buddy Softies, What an awesome product. Some of the best things about it is the packaging alone. It's very clean design and easy to read packaging lets you know everything about it without needing a magnifying glass. For the treats themselves, the dogs devour them. I have 1 dog golden retriever that is a stickler for food and treats. Once she ate the first one she came back for more. For the other 3 they go nuts over them. After everything 5 out of 5 would be the way to go. The price is average, the amount is average, the softness is great, the ingredients look good. The only thing I would like to see from the company is a bigger size treats for big dogs.BrandonD

My 3 girls really like these. I also got a bag of the bacon biscuits which they loved too. I like that they have limited ingredients and are a healthy snack. I'm always on the lookout for yummy "cookies" to treat my dogs with and these were a hit. I do think they preferred the bacon over the pumpkin but they still gobbled up both bags happily.Melanie

My dogs will get a treat IF they stay in their assigned spot after breakfast while I am doing other chores and cleaning their bowls. They really work at staying put for these biscuits. I like that the biscuits are made with real ingredients and have a tempting bacon aroma. 4 stars because the biscuits are rather large and thick making them hard to break. I would appreciate a biscuit that is half the size and because the main ingredient is wheat: wheat flour, ground wheat and wheat mill run (whatever that is?). The size of the biscuits changed and the price went up. They are much smaller and the texture is harder for my dogs to chew. There were a lot of broken biscuits in the bag. The dogs also seem disappointed with the flavor. Before the change, these were the only dog biscuits that we bought. Favorite treat of my Aussie/St. Bernard mix. When this cookie jar is opened he literally starts to drool! He enjoys the treats so much that I now give him one every time we sit down to dinner – as much for me as for him. I have no guilt about eating a delicious steak and not offering him a bite because he is happy with his bone.
