I have bought several brands of these and this is by far the best one that has pleased my dogs, lasted longer and are consistently the size the package states. They do stink but my experience has been that the smellier they are the more the dogs love it! It is a repulsive smell so I would advise against letting them on the furniture with it and wash your hands after touching them as your hands will smell. I tolerate this because at 5.00 per pop you want quality, a safe product for your pup and want them to last a bit. I have bought brands that our Toy Aussiedoodle demolished in less than a day but I get the large and she is an aggressive chewer so they last up to 2 days for each stick sometimes. We also have a chi that likes the large sticks and they last him quite awhile! Please always take any treat from your pet when it gets too small. These can easily choke them to death if they fit it in their mouth.Sarah
Not only am I happy with these treats, the little guys are, & they can be finicky about these things. Of course, presentation is an important key, but you know your pups more than anyone else. Our little guys took to these gnaws very quickly. Way faster than a few of the other treats that we have tried before. Being able to chew on something is important to them, to dogs in general. Sometimes it helps with their chewing on other things, or destroying toys. Sometimes, it's just good for their teeth & well being. Sometimes I just like giving them a cool treat. I can't tell you anything about taste, & they don't smell like anything to me, really, but the guys love them & that does say a whole bunch. Like all of the furry friends, they like to socialize when you're eating, & giving them a nice crunchy treat is a great thing for them. These are hard treats, not soft. They are also not uniform in thickness, just length. Be careful when they eat them. You can cut them I pieces, but certainly would want to use some kitchen shears to be safe. These NatureGnaws bully sticks are a great option to get for your dog if he or she is a tough chewer. It seems like bully sticks are the only things that can keep them occupied for longer than 15 minutes. In fact, my dog usually chews a bully stick for around 30 minutes or so, so it ends up being a great investment. As far as the quality of these bully sticks, my dog seems to love them. Granted, she loves pretty much everything, so that's not the best way to determine how good it is. As far as bully sticks in general go, I've tried ones from Costco and Chewy.com, and I would say, the ones from Chewy are the least smelliest of them all. These NatureGnaws ones are similar in smell to the ones from Costco. They don't smell bed at first, but once the dog starts chewing on them for a while, the odor comes gushing out. The company does not describe the difference between the bully sticks in the 30 pack and the bully sticks in the 60 pack. They are completely different! The ones in the 60 pack are flat, but good sized and the ones in the 30 pack are thin little sticks. Downtown Pet needs to add a better description to their product!

I was skeptical at first and literally thought about ordering Bully Max a million times. I had heard nothing but good things about it but all on the internet. No one I knew had first hand knowledge. So, I took a leap of faith and even had issues with UPS so it took almost a month to get my first order. My Bullys hold weight better, she's more energetic, her coat seems thicker and most of all her muscles pop out and the muscle definition is nothing less than extraordinary. All just from feeding her Bully Max! Next best thing is that she loves it!!! And I've noticed that she doesn't have the bad gas like she used to. I'm pretty sure Bully Max found a customer for life! All I can say is this is an amazing product and I recommend it to anyone who has Bullys or even dogs. I purchased the 30/20 ratio food first for my 4 month great dane. He had a reaction, acne all over didn't think it was the food. Switched food and after $500 at the vet he was okay. Throught may be some treats he had caused it and then tried returning to bully max again buyin the pro series food 48lbs. within 5 days the acne popped up again and he was unwell too this time. Asked bully max to have the items returned and refunded. I have proposed half refund as half of the food I had opened. I mentioned what my pup and I had to go through and expected to provide a future purchase discount for supplements. Denied. Tried mending it all I could, but the customer service is not bothered. Overally pure satisfaction in the quality of this Kibble. With meat being the number 2 ingrediant you can't go wrong. The price is easy to discard when you see what this kibble does all around for your pup. My two pits Biggie and Mac came from a irresponsible breeder and had little to no nutrients when I picked them up. They were skinny, low on energy, had plenty of skin allergies and dandruff and all around 1-2 months behind on growth. I got biggie a month ago and Mac 2 weeks ago. Biggie has flourished on this kibble in only 30 days his coat shines and his muscles are starting to pop and he keeps growing. He makes his brother look 2 months younger than him. The ones in the 60 pack are flat, but good sized and the ones in the 30 pack are thin little sticks. Downtown Pet needs to add a better description to their product!

These tablets have helped transition my frenchie in a whole new way. He was injured at 3 months and had to wear a cast for a month in a half. He was small for his size and had a lot of catching up to do. With these tablets he packed on the weight he needed to look and feel healthy. Using it for my two very active 15lb mixed dogs, neutered males; one is 1.2 years old and the other is 1.6 yrs old. They’re already decently muscular, but I wanted a bit more definition and coat shine out of them. However, I haven’t noticed a difference in either one of them after using these tablets every day. I had high expectations with this supplement and really wanted it to work, but at least for me they don’t seem to. I was skeptical at first and literally thought about ordering Bully Max a million times. I had heard nothing but good things about it but all on the internet. No one I knew had first hand knowledge. So, I took a leap of faith and even had issues with UPS so it took almost a month to get my first order. Needless to say I was even more doubtful…but when I actually got the products I could tell the difference by the second or third day. I was amazed and still am. My Bullys hold weight better, she's more energetic, her coat seems thicker and most of all her muscles pop out and the muscle definition is nothing less than extraordinary. All just from feeding her Bully Max! Next best thing is that she loves it!!! And I've noticed that she doesn't have the bad gas like she used to. I'm pretty sure Bully Max found a customer for life! I purchased the 30/20 ratio food first for my 4 month great dane. He had a reaction, acne all over didn't think it was the food. Switched food and after $500 at the vet he was okay. Throught may be some treats he had caused it and then tried returning to bully max again buyin the pro series food 48lbs. within 5 days the acne popped up again and he was unwell too this time. Asked bully max to have the items returned and refunded. I have proposed half refund as half of the food I had opened. I mentioned what my pup and I had to go through and expected to provide a future purchase discount for supplements. Denied. Tried mending it all I could, but the customer service is not bothered. This food is probably just for the bully breeds, even in reviews, just the bully breeds have positive reviews. Bully max should stop advertising this as an all-breed dog, all-age dog food! Overally pure satisfaction in the quality of this Kibble. With meat being the number 2 ingrediant you can't go wrong. The price is easy to discard when you see what this kibble does all around for your pup. My two pits Biggie and Mac came from a irresponsible breeder and had little to no nutrients when I picked them up. They were skinny, low on energy, had plenty of skin allergies and dandruff and all around 1-2 months behind on growth. I got biggie a month ago and Mac 2 weeks ago. Biggie has flourished on this kibble in only 30 days his coat shines and his muscles are starting to pop and he keeps growing. He makes his brother look 2 months younger than him. He loves the taste of this kibble. Each time its time to eat he patiently waits with excitement for me to release him to his bowl. It as great until someone stole the rest of them, I'm trying to give these to one dog and others to other dogs so their chewing intensity would even out. Unfortunately, they all want what *he* got or what *she* got. you should update your lists below to allow for multiple selections. Our three-year-old female is a power chewer! It is always an exciting time each week when she receives her 12 inch giant bully stick, and at first carries it around in her teeth with great pride. Not only is it a healthy desirable treat for our dog, it helps keep her teeth as white as pearls. Via loves to chew bully sticks, which are not only a healthy snack they operate as a perfect toothbrush. She can tear through a giant bully stick in one evening, and it never takes her more than two days to finish it. One of the great tricks that I have learned to extend the life of our bully stick, if you snap on a pair of vise grips as it gets harder for her to hold and helps extend the life of the life of the bully stick without risking that she will chew it down to a size so small it could be swallowed. Although it is an expensive treat, when you consider that you no longer have to pay a veterinarian to clean her teeth the new higher price of the bully stick is still well worth it. We were never aware of the product with the five previous dogs. We have owned since 1979. They have all been power chewers and I believe they would’ve benefited from the bully stick. I first saw a Staffordshire bull terrier in England in 1977. I knew right away that I wanted that dog and I asked the owner what was the breed. I found my first book store and purchased a book about the breed. When we first got back to the states I immediately started looking for a Staffy. Unfortunately, I quickly realized they were $2000. At that time the American pitbull terrier had not gained it’s awful reputation and so that’s what we ended up with. Just a wonderful dog to raise our children with. Over the years, we included five American Staffordshire Terriers to the family. When the last of them passed a couple of years ago I think we decided not to get another dog. However, when you are a dog family, you are a dog family. After living 40 years in the same home with a fenced in yard we moved to a home association that although are individual homes you are unable to fence in your yard. There is also a weight limit of 40 pounds. Finally, we had the reason and the financial ability to get a Staffordshire bull terrier. The breeder of the dog suggested jumbo bully sticks. I was a bit surprised at the cost at first, but the advantages far outweigh the cost. Our female can go through a jumbo 12 inch bully stick in two day. She is so satisfied with the taste and chew, and we are totally satisfied with the whitest teeth in town. They also have the extra protein that an active dog needs. On almost a daily basis, out female walks with me 20 to 30 miles a week in addition to a rope pull and catching the frisbee. We do not get the odorless jumbo 12 inch by stick as we are not offended by the odor of the regular version. If you have a puppy that loves to chew, these are definitely for you! I recently switched to Barkworthies bully sticks after having a poor experience with Best Bully Sticks. I have to say, it’s actually quite difficult to find a reliable, odor-free bully stick, since it is common for odors to occur. With that being said, I was pleasantly surprised when I received these because there was absolutely no odor at all! I definitely recommend purchasing a higher length like 12” because when your dog gets to the last 1-2” of the bully stick it becomes a choking hazard. Therefore, you definitely want to size up if you want to make these last longer and get your money’s worth. My last comment is that these can vary in width, so that’s why I took a star off. If you purchase a pack just be aware that you might end up with a couple that are super thin and may not last. If that’s an issue, purchase the thick size or jumbo size I believe which will add to the width of the bully stick and help it last longer. For reference, I have a 9 month old Cavalier and it takes about 3-5 hours for her to finish one of these, so I get a lot of chew time out of it. I typically let her chew for 20-30 minutes and then I’ll bag it and save for the next day. It’s a great way to provide mental stimulation when you’re busy working on something.madison.l
