Bought 1 for my 97 year old friend who is madly in love w her new dog. Not having a dog the last couple years has been very difficult for her and this toy has saved the day! Then got another for her 3 year old great grand daughter who cherishes her new puppy. I appreciate this treat maker because it helps create "cute", but more importantly healthy, treats for my dog given I can control what products he's being served. He has an allergy to honey and molasses and it's amazing how many dog treats contain those two products! I will say, we've only used this treat maker twice and it is a little tough to get used to… mainly because I am afraid of burning myself. The treats I've made so far are pretty sticky and are hard to get off the spoon and spread around properly into the bone shapes. Trying to fully closes the lid so that it snaps closed and then open it has been a bit of a challenge too. Regardless, he has had no problem gobbling them up. Here are my steps to making the perfect bones without burning yourself. Step1. Do not heat or grease the baking unit. Step2. Make the dough Step3. Press the dough into the bone shaped molds in the cold baking unit Step4. Pop out the bone shaped dough from the unit. (I use toothpicks) Step5. Repeat to pre-form the rest of the dough Step6. Heat and lightly grease the unit Step7. Pop the pre-formed dough back into the fully heated unit and bake.Donna C.

If you want to pump out treats like a pro, you should get this. However there is one caveat. You have to tweak their recipe a bit. I did the pumpkin carrot and spinach treats. I added about a half a cup of chicken broth, and about a teaspoon of baking powder. I got it to more of a pancake batter consistency. Then I cooked them for 10 minutes, with out turning. With this recipe, you don't need to turn them, and 10 minutes makes them less chewy. You're welcome!Clint

This is the second gallon that I've bought. I think its probably the best of all I've tried. It works well on fecal matter. It does get the smell out. You really have to work at urine though which is why I gave it a 4 instead of a 5.HikingGrandma

This cleaner is great!! I have light stained hardwood floors throughout the whole house (with a few small rugs) and I have no stains or odor anywhere. I've always been super skeptical about 'specialized' cleaning products, why can't we use basic carpet cleaner and call it a day? Well, when I got a puppy, I knew messes were going to happen, and my standard carpet spray wasn't cutting it (the smell was the main problem, and the carpet didn't feel clean). A friend recommended Oxy Dog by Simple Green, and the product is absolutely AMAZING! It smells great, cleans fabulously, and I even use it to take out tough stains on my clothes. I had been wanting to get my dog a dna test since we got her from the shelter 4 years ago, and I finally gave in and got one, and I’m so glad I did! We knew so little about Rosey, she was just listed as a “terrier mix” at the shelter, other than that all we knew was her age. Rosey is only 35lbs full grown, but she has the head shape of a pit bull. And then she has the classic coloring of small terriers (like the rat terrier I grew up with) white, some brown on her head, and skin covered in black spots. Because she’s so small everyone thought I was crazy for thinking she had pit bull in her, and we CONSTANTLY got asked if she’s a jack russell. Well now we know, she’s American pit bull terrier, chihuahua, toy fox terrier, American staffordshire terrier, and rat terrier. Makes PERFECT sense! As I said, my dog growing up, named Lucy, was a rat terrier. When I adopted Rosey I literally told my gma, “she looks just like Lucy, but bigger and with a pit bull shaped head 😂 And it turns out, that’s exactly what she is! Another awesome thing was we found she has a sister named Delta, which is SO cool! The only thing I wish you guys had the option for, is some way for owners to contact one another. I understand people maybe not wanting their contact info, but maybe have an option where you can send a “request for contact” to an owner of your dogs relatives. If they don’t want to be contacted they wouldn’t have to accept it, then no info is ever shared. But the option would be there. I would LOVE to see if Roseys sisters owners have more info on where our two doggies came from! So that would be a super cool option. Otherwise, I’m so glad I did this, the process was super easy, it didn’t take long for my results, and I love all the cool info you guys give!Ashley M.

I ordered the Essential test kit for my rescue pup back in April of 2022. I had a pretty good hunch that she was predominately Labrador retriever, but with her speckled white chest, I thought maybe she’d have some German shorthaired pointer in her background somewhere. Well, call it “operator error,” but that first test kit I sent in didn’t have enough DNA material to test. I was bummed—instead of getting the results after a week or two of their testing facility receiving the box, I got the “sorry, not enough specimen to reliably test.” I thought I’d have to pay for another test kit. Nope! The email notifying me that my pup’s results weren’t able to be generated had a link which guided me in contacting customer service about a replacement kit. Customer service quoted “approximately 3 business days” for me to hear back from them—I received a response within 5 hours. On a Friday evening. In addition to the quick response, they sent a replacement kit to me almost immediately. Not bad, eh? The second kit was a success—enough material to test. As I was reviewing the results that were sent to me, my skepticism reared its head again. Her lineage had Labrador retriever (as expected), but no presence of German shorthaired pointer. Actually, no presence of any other breeds I’d anticipated. What allayed my concerns about the test reliability was the “Traits” section of her results—the test nailed her physical appearance, from her fur color and fur type, to her nose coloring, and her eye color. It even indicated that she was a low shedding dog (which is true, when the seasons aren’t changing). More importantly, the trait results showed which breeds in her lineage were attributed to the marled/spotted white on her chest! I definitely would recommend Wisdom Panel to any pet parent who’s even slightly curious about their pup’s pedigree. Their customer service is top notch, and I couldn’t be happier with my experience!Courtney S.

I received my dog DNA testing kit as a Christmas gift. After adopting Maggie a year ago, we were all very curious to see the mixture of breeds in her DNA! She is a tall (skinny stilts for legs!), lean (57.5 pounds since the day she came home!), poofy tailed, medium haired (that sheds everywhere!), white fur (with some darker accents on her ears) girl. While she has the tail, coloring, and double rear dewclaws of a Great Pyrenees, she has the face, ears, and hair of a Labrador, and she isn’t stocky or fluffy. Imagine my surprise to get the results that she is 100% Great Pyrenees??? No way, no how is my Mags not mixed with any other breeds. I wish I could attach a photo to this review, and you would say the same thing! Our vet suggested Great Pyrenees mixed with Labrador, retriever, possibly Anatolian Shepherd as a starting place. The whole reason to test her was to find out which breeds she is obviously mixed with…because she obviously IS NOT 100% Great Pyrenees as the results stated. I’ve contacted Wisdom’s customer service with pictures to get some insight, and after five days, I still haven’t received a response, which is disappointing. I feel like I didn’t learn anything that I expected to learn, and the person who gave me the gift was frustrated to spend so much money with little result. I was hoping that they would take the time to realize that the results don’t add up and offer to send me another test kit, but they have not replied to my concerns. I cannot say that I recommend Wisdom kits after my underwhelming experience.Erin C.

Cannot say my dog loves this tool yet but in time I think she will come to be OK with this which is great because I'm stunned at how much fur this got out and instantly vacuumed away. Also she looked really pretty afterwards. It's quite easy to use, my top tip would be don't be tempted to apply the tool without depressing the button for the brush because when you do that it creates a suction seal with the dogs skin and makes them jump a bit then give you an accusing look.smstride627

I have a german shepherd who is shedding relentlessly all year round, this tool has been a lifesaver! He is unphased by the vacuum so he will calmly lie down and let us brush him with no complaint, the amount of dog fur this tool collects is insane and well worth the money!13Steph

Piggy is mostly white with very pink skin. His pads of his feet are pink they are turning a little darker as he gets older . He has one eye smaller than the other and has no pupil response in either eye but can see shadows i think from one eye. I was suspecting he was a double Merle . I’d love to send a pic so you could see. His traits that you have said he has appearance wise was not accurate. He does have a touch of Merle coloring on his lower hip and leg. But he’s mostly white and very pink around the eyes and pads of feet even pink nose with a touch of black . I would have never guessed he was related to most of these other breeds. He does however have a look of a American Staffordshire terroir a little. His mom Looked like a Australian Shepherd or boarder collie we think. He was a stray we found when he was only 4lbs and had to be fed with a syringe then bottle. Can a dog mixed with so many other breeds be a double Merle ?Kelly D.

We adopted our family dog from a shelter on Christmas Eve a few years ago. Ever since she was a puppy, she had always displayed peculiar traits that didn't seem to align with the traits of the breeds the shelter had guessed for her. We were very excited to receive our WisdomPanel (which was super easy to use) and even more excited to review the results (which came quicker than expected). The results definitely surprised us. I immediately thought it must have been a mistake, until I looked up pictures of the breed my dog was identified as — it was like looking at pictures of my own dog! Plus, the breed descriptions on WisdomPanel and the greater internet were 100% spot on with how our dog behaves. We certainly got more than a few good laughs at how incorrect the shelter's guesses were – it made our day! It was an overall amazing experience and would highly recommend.Jorge R.

I have serious concerns that the sample for my dog was mixed up with another's. The report stated that my dog is 50% golden retriever (meaning one of his parents was 100% golden) and 13% chow, with the remainder being other breeds. I would expect that if my dog was truly 50% golden retriever, he should look something like a golden retriever. Sam does not. He LOOKS like he should be some variation of a Doberman and Shepherd. He has the coloring of both of those dogs (mostly black with tan/brown accents) has VERY short hair, lanky legs, and a long straight tail. I sent a follow-up email to Wisdom Panel when I first read the results and got no response. I should think that since this is partly scientific research, Wisdom Panel would want feedback when data does not result as expected. I am very upset that I spent my money on this, especially with the lack of customer service when I reported my concerns.Stephanie G.

I bought this for our 12 week old puppy who had been finding it hard to be alone, causing him to cry, howl and bark. Unfortunately, the diffuser made absolutely no difference. His barking/howling continued, which is a shame, as this wasn't exactly a cheap product. As the box suggests, we left the diffuser plugged in constantly (rather than just when we were intending to leave him alone), but even this made no difference. Ironically, once the diffuser ran out, our puppy seemed to settle down. I think this was a coincidence, but proved that the diffuser had done nothing but waste our money.Anonymous

2 years ago we homed a very badly abused & nervous rescue border collie. He calmed down & socialised more with us when we used Adaptil. Once or twice we've tried to unplug it to see if it now makes a difference to him. However, after a couple of days he seems to become slightly agitated & again calms down when we start using it again. Therefore, needless to say as Adaptil seems to help our lovely boy, we'll continue using it. At first we thought it was just a 'gimic' but it appears that this is not the case & it actually works!Lyn W

I purchased both the diffuser and spray to try to deal with my puppy's frantic fear of shadows. She wasn't playing with them but clearly very disturbed by shadows and displaying some troubling behaviour. I first used the spray around her bed at night and she settled and slept fairly quickly. I now have the diffuser plugged in and it is working wonders. She nosed around the diffuser initially and nuzzled it and now seems quite calm. She notices shadows but doesn't seem to be troubled by them so much. These products are quite expensive but I will continue to use them other situations the puppy finds stressful such as car travel.Anonymous

Our lab/retriever cross became frightened of loud noises, using the collar has steadily improved the situation. It doesn't work immediately, be patient for a week or even two. A noise de-sensitisation CD (follow the instructions exactly) will also help considerably. Just check the tightness of the collar every few days because some dogs will scratch at it and can occasionally loosen it slightly – when cutting off the excess length leave an inch so that it doesn't fall off if the dog does scratch at it (they soon stop).Nicholas J

Very pleased with this product and seems to have calmed my anxious dog prior to Bonfire night. My only niggle is that the small collar was too small for my dog but the large is too big. Obviously you can cut it to fit around the neck, but it is very wide. Its a shame that there arent small, medium and large sizes.bedlingtonjess1

Our 16 year old terrier became terrified of the car about a year ago – hyperventilating, fighting to get out – heartbreaking and we couldn't take her any further than our dogminders so we could go out on business. We bought the Adaptil collar about 3 weeks ago and she is far less frightened. Sits fairly comfortably without 'twitching' and doesn't fight to get out when the door is opened. We're making slightly longer journeys on a regular basis to take her for a walk on the beach – and she seems to be very much improved. Just hope this continues, she (and we) are so much happier.Liz

Serious review here from real dog folks. Raise Siberian Huskies (20+ years). Cold beach environment most of the year and periodic warm So. Cal. desert environment part of the year. Whenever we are in the warmer temps the huskies are in their Core Cooling vests. Bottom line: the vests work. The dogs want to put them on. They remain cool. When the vests dry we simply soak and squeeze and replace. We are all good to go. Pack and pack-leaders are happy. What more do you need to know? Great product. Fair price. I have used various brands of carpet cleaners in my machine. They cleaned the carpet, but sometimes left a stain behind when they dried. This cleaner is great. I have 2 dogs that have accidents and a cat that throws up daily. This cleaner cleans up the messes, removes all odors and the oxy cleaner in it dries without leaving stains behind. I love how it came with a pre-treater solution that helps loosen dried messes and destroys odors too.Ronald

I have a stinky English bulldog and a 100lb lab..my mom used to complain that as soon as she walked in to our house all she could smell was dog. I was so embarrassed. I hate the smell of glad plug ins and room fragrances since they just makes the room smell like flowery dogs…but still like dogs. I SWEAR by the pet order fresh scent and have them all over my house. After learning the effects of traditional chemical filled plug ins, I've been searching for something more natural that is safe around my family, including my dogs. I now have 4 of these plug-ins throughout my house. The Pet Deodorizing scent, specifically in "Fresh" is my favorite scent so far. It is definitely noticeable, but not overwhelming. I also purchased the "Clean" pet deodorizing scent, but it is a much lighter scent. I am not disappointed in either, but prefer the Fresh scent. I had a small mix up with my order when it arrived, but after sending an email, they were quick to fix the problem. I will continue to support this small, American based company. So happy to have discovered these air fresheners. I have pets and was wary of using the chemical filled products out there. I purchased the “Fresh” and the “Pet Fresh” deodorizers and both are wonderful, subtle scents that seem to clear the air and never leave a heavy, overwhelmingly perfumed odor behind. I am looking forward to trying some of the other offerings as well. Can’t recommend these enough! If you are considering a purchase – just do it!! I will never purchase Glade, Air Wick etc again. I was so excited to find out the breed(s) of my rescue when I receive this kit as a gift. I was confident she was mostly pit bull mix from my personal knowledge of dog breeds (2+ years experience in vet clinic) and the rescues record. The service was fine but her test came back as level 1 Boxer and level 4 redbone coonhound. This has never seemed accurate to me, and now after reading the many reviews of others having the same experience I am convinced this test is a scam. The detailed questions they ask to indicate their assumed breed is even more suspicious. It’s very disappointing, especially when pet parents are relying on accurate info for health concerns or other important matters. If you want accurate results, I would definitely pitch in a little more money and go with a more trustworthy brand.Mikayla Arevalo

I’m very pleased with this test that I bought when I Adopted both of these Dogs from Humane Pet Services LLC. They only adopt out dogs/puppies that are pulled out of Over Crowding Shelters where they are at a High Risk of being Euthanized. These dogs/puppies are fixed, up to date on age appropriate shots, wormed and Heartworm Tested. My Goliath was brought in saying Pug Mix his DNA turned out to be Pug/Norwegian Elkhound. What a mix, he’s a very good dog. My Zoe was brought in as a Lhasa Mix her DNA turned up Lhasa/Poodle/Rat Terrier. She is such a fun dog to watch running and playing. Another very good dog given a 2nd Chance at a full and wonderful life.Karen Sowash

My recent rescue, Daisy Duke, stole my heart with her huge erect ears, bright eyes and big brindle spots on a bright white coat. Friends and I made wild guesses as to her breeds. She was a rescue from the Crow Reservation where blue heelers are common. Or was the muzzle from the terrier group? I received my results quickly and was surprised and happy to learn she is 1/4 Akita, Border Collie, Belgian Malinois (!) and Shiba Inu.
