These are nice dog houses. They are light weight & don't look like they are very warm, but they actually do a good job, my border collies like these a lot. The extra neck or tunnel entrance is nice to give them some extra protection and privacy. They stand up pretty well to puppies chewing on them to. I recommend this dog house.Iowafarmgal

I mistakenly bought the Large doghouse for dogs up to 90 lbs. But my 5 month old coonhound was too large for it. I returned it and ordered the X-large doghouse and it is the right size. Unfortunately, the doghouse was broken in two places, probably due to the way you ship. These doghouses are delivered without any protection and will crack or break when sliding into anything. I will have to repair it to hold it together since I don't trust you are able to send another one without the same issues.Daniel

It's not extra large, that's for sure. It's a large. My two Berner males at 94-lbs and 120-lbs don't go in because they can barely turn around in it. Nor my 88-lb Pyrenees. The material itself is great. But isn't the point that the dog can get in/out of it so they use it? My smaller 72-lb female uses her Ex-Lg. So is it really the size a medium dog should use? I spent $$ for 5 Extra Lg and 1 dog uses it. Not a happy camper.SCloudcroft

Purchased a second XL house for our two Great Pyrenees because they no longer fit in one together. Our original is over 15 years old and is in great shape. Love the new design with the slight angle that provides more space and blocks the wind. Durable and strong material, yet still lightweight and easy to move.S Ringo

I have been using these large Permate dog houses to house my Nigerian Dwarf goats for many years. They have made "affordable housing" for my goats. I will say that my bucks (boys) are much harder on the houses than the does (girls). Both genders jump on top, but the bucks crack the rain shield by jumping on top of the houses. This happens after a while, not right away. I don't blame the company that makes these because they are intended for dogs, not goats that love to climb! I do wish the tops would be stronger to prevent this problem from happening. Another area to improve design would be for the top to somehow lock on to the base. When my Great Pyrenees (GP) dog goes inside to lay down, the lid can lift/tilt off. The large size is not big enough for a GP. The price keeps going up, and I'm not pleased with having to pay more. I wait until the neighbor club coupon comes out to buy any needed replacement houses. Over the years I've bought countless Permate Large dog houses, so I know these pretty well! My Lab and Australian Shepherd love these large Petmate houses too.Farmer Johns

Looks very nice and hardy but it floods when it rains, I don't know how but the water gets inside and it is too much water. I put a crate pad inside for my outdoor cat to stay warm and went to check on my cat a few hours later after it rained, and the pad was soaking wet not to mention the house was full of water more water than what was outside . The dog house comes in two parts – top and bottom. They do not snap together; the top merely sits on the bottom. No hardware is provided to attach the two and even if there was there are no holes through which one would thread screws or bolts (or whatever) to keep the dog house together. I use these for my goats because these houses are inexpensive but the goats knowingly and regularly have fun pushing up on the exit/entrance hole to "break" the house into two pieces. Yes, I laugh at their antics but I still plan to drill holes and use nuts/bolts to keep the top and bottom together.L McGaffey

The Blue Buffalo Life Protection Beef and brown rice flavor was a HUGE hit!! I have two Labs and they are a little picky when it comes to dog food. I think they may be a little too pampered and spoiled to be honest. They only like the finer things in life. I have given my dogs Blue Buffalo dog food before, but it was the chicken and rice formula. I knew they would be super excited to try the Beef and rice formula. And I was right!! This formula may be the best formula that Blue Buffalo makes. My dogs went crazy for it. As soon as I opened the bag you should have seen their little noises going. Oh my goodness! I received a Ripplestreet Box in my mailbox and it was Blue Life Protection Beef & Brown Rice. I gave some to my shih tzu and she absolutely loves it! Searched for a food to tempt my 14 year old Sheltie, who was upset with our moving and refused to eat anything. I have a rescue dog that had never been outside and had never ate dog food before he came to me! They only fed him table food! So finding a food that he would eat is very challenging! We have a finicky little rescue who gets "bored" with her food. We had tried a couple of different methods to get her to eat. We have found that she likes a little bit of this mixed in with her food (she seems to really like the chicken). I bought this as a trial run for my large dogs, and I’m so glad I did! I have a golden retriever and a king German Shepherd, they’re on the younger side but very large for their breed. You know that it's good enough to feed your fur fan when your vet recommends it. my old boy Chaz was hit by a car years ago and ever since his had issues with hip dysplasia. He takes medicine for the inflammation and pain but still, some days I find him having trouble walking up and down the hill in our yard. I have used these type of doghouses for years to house my indoor cats' litter pans. Not only do they help to contain the litter that always seems to make it out of the pan, they also act as an odor barrier and preserve my flooring from "over reaches". I use these for my nigerian dwarf and lamancha goats…. In addition to our barn, as additional cover and housing. The little ones got breat but so do the full soze 3 year old lamanchas. This has to be one of the best stamps I've ever had with the exception of one little hiccup. This is replacing a Fender Blues Deville, which I absolutely loved. I had access to almost every Fender amp when I bought my Blues Deville and it just spoke to me. Well, they don't make Blues Devilles anymore, and I knew the Hot Rod Deville existed, so I went for it. To my ears, it's the same as my previous amp. This is a two channel amp in which each channel is independent of the other with the exception of the tone knobs, which are the same for both channels, which is not a problem for me. When I plugged it in, I couldn't believe how incredible it sounded clean. It absolutely blew my mind. I used both a Stratocaster and a Les Paul. Then, I took the second channel and add a little bit of gain to it, which distorted it. The distortion on this amp is so creamy that I don't even need to use my TS9. It has to be one of the best distortions I have ever heard from an amplifier. I usually use an Orange TH30C for my distortion. My Fender amp was always a clean amplifier. I may be using this one for the distortion and my Orange may get sidelined. The reason I'm giving this amp four stars is because of the following; when you go to switch channels using the included foot switch, there's a loud pop that happens every time you switch channels while you're playing. Apparently, it's inherent to the amplifier. It's the only reason I cannot use this amplifier with clean and dirty at the same time unless I use a TS9 on the clean channel. That really was not a well thought out process from Fender. For the price of this amp, I would think that problem would've been fixed, but it is what it is. I still love the amplifier and I'm still glad I bought it, although I will have to use my Orange when I want a distorted sound.Chuck

I bought my new Fender Blues Jr v4 about 2 months ago from a guy who decided he was more of a "Marshall Guy After All" so I got a bargain, but that was just the beginning. I wanted to spend some time and several sessions playing with this thing before I rushed into a review, but it turns out my first impressions have been even more reinforced since playing this thing for several hours, and the big word here is WOW. I have been playing for over 62 years (that's right, got my first guitar at 7) and bought my first Strat in high school. I've played and owned a LOT of different amps, and even now I have a few pieces for which I have some sentiment, but now it seems I will have to seriously reconsider. Good thing there is no "Amp Limit Law", but if there was I could finally happily liquidate all the others if I could have just my new Blues Jr. I have read voraciously for years about concepts such as "touch sensitive", "controlling breakup with the guitar volume", "takes pedals well", etc. Turns out these have only been myths to me all this time until now. Everything good and superlative that's been written about this amp is absolutely true. The preamp section is like pure magic in shaping the tone and delivering it to my favorite-EL84 power amp section. I have never been a fan of the usual Fender tube lineup, and when I heard this runs EL84s I was already excited. I am still a Strat guy to this day and love everything about it. But I have never even dreamed it could sound so good. I have an Egnater Rebel 20, a vintage Crate 15 watt blonde with a Dr Z speaker, and my prior favorite-a 5 watt Epiphone Valve Jr into a 12" Eminence Lady Luck. I have some others, but nothing I own or have owned can even come close to this thing. And what has been said about the Celestion speaker choice is again, absolutely right on. The sound from this amp would be as if you had an old Deluxe Reverb, did a cap job, retube, and maybe speaker upgrade. I guess I'm trying to say that it soundsMark, R

Simplicity itself, with great tone and a big sound from a small package. I've a few amps, ranging from heads and cabs to combos, but had a hankering for a small tube combo – one that could do a rehearsal if needed. This has a great sound with a 335 and a Telecaster, and so easy to dial in a fantastic tone – infact hard to get a bad tone. Plenty loud enough, I would happily take this out and gig it. I love the fact you can unplug the internal speaker and plug it into a cab, makes it a great package. No perceivable noise when winding it up, and the stock speaker is great, good tight bass and nice and chimey on top. Seems solidly built, but I guess time will tell on that front. All in all, very pleased with this, and great value.Customer

A very good friend of mine uses these strings all the time; on all of his guitars. After playing few of his instruments, i understood why. In my opinion, these strings are pretty nice. They are smooth (not sticky feeling like flat wound chomes) and they seem to hold there tone pretty well. (At least for me) I have used these strings in the past but i couldn't appreciate them because i had a bad guitar. That's all changed now. I think i really like theseTC

Nickel electric guitar strings are the bright sounding electric guitar strings. You get the manufacturing process of DR 's specific string core winding technology the way they make their High Beam bass and guitar and guitar strings. DR pure Blues strings are as bright, loud and clear and well made both material and manufacturing wise as electric guitar strings can be. I suppose you could use thesewith distortion but with the clarity of these, playing in clean channel'd be 'purest way to hear emhartke2k

I wanted to try something different. I had EB slinkys on my Gretsch Jet. I decided to give the DR handmade Pure Blues a go. Personally I think these are better than the EB. They feel and sound different. Playing seems to take less effort than the EB’s. I would suggest do a google search on stringing roundcore strings. Apparently there are pitfalls if you don’t string them right. I’m going to order a couple more packs just in case. I’m very tempted to try the acoustic strings as well.DGB

I have been playing for over 40 years. These strings sound and feel better than others. I play Jazz, Blues, Rock, and I have these on all my guitars ES 335, Custom Strat, Tele, and a Les Paul Custom. These sound great on all. Do not know how they would sound or feel playing other genres. But for the ones I enjoy playing they hit the spot.Starbuck, T

I was looking for strings that have less tension when used with guitars that use vibrato systems. Round core strings fit the bill for that more than hex core. There are not as many string manufactures that make round core strings. I have them on my Fender Strat and PRS Custom 24. They sound great and stay in tune!ROBERT

I recently picked up a PRS CU22 that came with Pure Blues 10s on it. In the process of setting it up, I ended up throwing on my usual Daddario EXL110's (10 gauge), which I use on my other fender guitars. I found those strings to have much less tension and bottom end on this particular guitar, and went back to the Pure Blues. I eventually decided I wanted even more fight on the guitar (I play hard and 1/2 step down) and went to these 11's for the first time ever. I gotta say, they made this guitar finally feel right, even though I've used tens forever. Balanced, powerful tone, and insanely good attack on each note. Buying another few sets just to have around! One note, I immediately went to stretch the strings on installing them as usual, and on my first good pull I ripped the high E clean off. I guess these aren't as stretchy as I'm used to. A good play is all they need to settle in!Chris

We just got ours 2 days ago. It was deklivered by UPS during the aftermath of hurricane Ida. The UPS man needed help unloading it and when I actually got it out of the weather I noticed the box was damaged. Got the wife to come and take pictures of the damage as I unpacked it. It wasn't actually too bad except for the roof being cracked, but not beyond what I can possibly repair. Multiple places there are either screws lost or obvious cracks in the material. I will repair it as well as I can and then trrow a few coats of Epoxy paint on and IN it to protect the wood. The kennal itself was in stock and went together easily. As my pups will be spending only a few hours in it I decided to keep it and repair it. I know there are at leaast 10 screws and bolts missing because the hardware packet was partially opened and some parts had obviously fallen out of the shipping container.Bogey1

I give five stars because for the price I believe it is a nice dog house. Steel framing seems sturdy and it comes with a composite floor that will not rot. I found it easy to put together, but I could see how others may not think it is easy. Parts labeled very well and squared up well on assembly. I recommend putting together on flat concrete and only move after installing after all self tapping srews are in place. Only negative thing I would have to say is that the walls are a little thin for my liking. I feel they could be a little thicker. Also i like how it attaches to the retriever kennel. Other than that, great buy!DoggE

This dog house is a huge waste of money. I plan on returning mine today. First off, the wooden panels are paper thin and the floor will bow under little weight. I'm actually afraid my dog would chew out of the house very quickly. There were some parts of the instructions that didn't say which way smaller parts should be facing, and you would go through all the trouble to put it together then find out that one small part had to be flipped, but the instructions were not clear about some parts. I rebuilt this dog house probably 5 times because parts just didn't fit well at all for some reason. Oh and you DO need a drill because part of it want's you to drill screws through the metal frame because for some reason the holes were not included in the frames? The metal frame is cheap and easily bends under little weight. The only reason I even got this doghouse is because I have the retriever kennel that goes with it. Do yourself a favor and get a better quality dog house or build a good one yourself.James009

I had been rigging my dogs summer tent to shelter my stray cat..I fed her, so she’s mine lol…but it just wasn’t cutting it anymore and it is oddly cold this winter here in Alabama. I added a heavy layer of straw, some fleece blankets and she moved right on in! I feel better knowing she is safe, warm, well fed & happy! I used some drop plastic (thick), and duct tape to create a door that would keep the wind & rain out and warmth in! Couldn’t be happier!KimCole

Firstly, I'm more of a hard-rock / metal / alternative kind of guy, but I heard a couple of Joe's songs, and I do listen to pretty much all genres at different times, so I bought a CD. The first think that hit me was the quality of this recording. It's better than probably 90% of my collection. It's about as good as CD recordings can be. It's up there with "HD" super high bitrate tracks that can be obtained, but with the convenience of having the physical media. The songs are a little bit "samey". This wouldn't be a bad thing for people that love his sound, but personally I would have liked a bit more variety on the album. Would i buy again? Yes! I'll also get another album or two from the same artist to see how his sound might have changed over his career.browndoggolf
