I got this little dog for my Mother In Law who lives in an Assisted Living Facility for her Birthday, She used to have a Golden Retriever and she just loved this little stuffed toy. She was so excited that it looked like it was breathing, she said it seemed so real and she loved it. She even ate her lunch with this cute little dog on her table as she ate. I just wish there was an On/Off switch for the breathing.JoJo44

I bought the golden retriever puppy for my granddaughter’s 8th Birthday. She absolutely adores it. It is well made and looks exactly the same as the picture I was so impressed I have ordered one for my mother who is 86 years for her Christmas. Very well made interactive puppy that makes various noises & actions. My Mum loves Cheeky, as do the other residents in her care home. Cheeky creates interest wherever she goes, she is spoken to so much and she obliges by woofing back. My Mum kindly lends Cheeky to her friend Ethel when shes feeling very distressed & needs to leave to go home to look after her parents. My mother has dementia. She had a dog before needing full time care in a special home. She kept asking to have a dog but it wasn't practical or permitted in the facility. I got her the Joy For All puppy. It makes her smile. She talks to it and pets it. She named it "Noodles". My only complaint is that it is heavy for her weak arms and hands and the large, hard interior mechanism takes away from the realistic feel.lauriehay

Really cute. My mum thinks hes great. The only trouble is she cant switch him off by herself so one day when she fancied a snooze, she was telling him to be quiet, not realising that her speaking was keeping him going. She ended up putting him in the washing machine to muffle the noises.. luckily she didnt switch the machine onjojoe2112

I ordered this after seeing a review of it on morning television. It has been a great hit and the recipient loves her very much. She has helped enormously with speech and provides some fun back into life. I have yet to see her as she lives a long way away but hope to visit after the 17th May. The good thing about her is that she doesn't need looking after or make a mess or entangle her lead around legs which aren't very steady. Money well spent I think.Gail L

Bought 1 for my 97 year old friend who is madly in love w her new dog. Not having a dog the last couple years has been very difficult for her and this toy has saved the day! We've used this collar for a few weeks and have definitely seen improvement. When our 130 lb Asian Shepherd tries to lunge at a passing car we simply put tension on the leash and she stops. We are a little concerned with how sturdy and reliable it is. The true test will be when we come across either another dog or a deer. Fingers crossed!ked7526

We have tried every type of no-pill harness out there, and had given up. When I went to my locally owned pet shop to buy a new collar for my girl, I saw this harness and decided to give it a go. What a difference. She didn’t like it at first, but it only took a couple of days for her to stop pawing at it. Fitting the harness was so easy as is putting on for a walk. It’s very lightweight, and with the additional padding on the nose loop combined with the heat-cut ends of the straps being sewn so that they do not touch her fur means no chafing and no sore spots. I can’t remember exactly what year we would have gotten our first gentle leader, but I’ll always remember the doggo we got it for and what a life changer it was!! He was 120 pounds of pure muscle and we.had.tried.everything. Group training, private training, and all the types of collars I would never use today even if I didn’t have this amazing option (choke, pinch, shock…). Our vet had even recommended having a horse halter made for him. And then a friend suggested a gentle leader. Overnight, we went from dreading the walk and only taking them when the strongest in the family was available, to myself, the kids and even my parents being able to EASILY, with one hand and no strength required, walk this dog who literally dragged me across a soccer field once when I slid on wet grass but didn’t want to let go of his leash. It was probably right around twenty years ago, and sadly Bear has long ago been to the rainbow bridge. But we’ve had a few other large, strong pullers since and thankfully we knew from the beginning how to make walks fun and bearable for everyone. I only wish it hadn’t taken SO long for there to be some collars with a little design and color other than the same solid colors for so many years. And I can’t lie, I sure wish there were more choices than there are. But thankfully the gentle leader is still available. I’ve worried at times when it’s been hard to find at stores in our area – but no matter how many other harnesses I’ve tried (and there have been quite a few – mostly looking to try to raise the fashion game a little or avoid the initial struggle to get it off), nothing has worked like the gentle leader and I always just get another one. Please keep making and PLEASE keep increasing the color/pattern options.hallblack

This little toy is so cute! It's little but it's built really well! I think it's great for small or even medium sized dogs! The top of the toy is really soft but durable at the same time. The middle is a rope and I can tell it will last us a while! The bottom of the toy is also soft but again, like the top part, it is durable as well. Inside of the head is a squeaker as well! It really makes for a fun time with the dogs! Honestly, the best thing about this toy is that you can tell it's built well. It is high quality! With the squeaker in the head of the toy, and the rope, this is going to be a toy we use for quite a while! I recommend it 🙂AmberM86

I finally received this toy and it was worth the wait!!! My dog Snickers LOVES it. When I took it out of the package he grabbed it and I didn't get it back for about 3 hours. The only concern I had was that WHEN I got it back, the tail of the toy was torn off. So maybe a way to better attach the toys tail. But all in all, my Dog Snickers couldn't have loved it more! I received this product to have my dogs test it. My 14 yr old wirehaired dachshund wasn't that interested, but he's lost interest in toys the past year. He might play with them for a minute. My 11 yr old Scottie loved it. He loves to rip toys apart but he wasn't able to do much to this toy. He likes how easy it is to pick up and carry around. After looking at these decorations for several years and not buying because "I have a real Corgi," I purchased this year. My real, elderly, Corgi died in May. While the tinsel "coat" is thinner than I had observed in stores, it's not extremely noticeable from a distance. The eyes are properly placed. The nubbin tail is cute. I used a safety pin on the scarf, which is not long enough to drape around the neck as shown in the illustration. Assembly was a no-brainer, although attaching the head took some squeezing to fit the pins into the neck tubes. Box arrived in perfect condition a day early. I think my apartment complex neighbors will appreciate seeing this on my balcony, as they've remarked on the real Corgi's absence.not the Queen

I was so excited to find out the breed(s) of my rescue when I receive this kit as a gift. I was confident she was mostly pit bull mix from my personal knowledge of dog breeds (2+ years experience in vet clinic) and the rescues record. The service was fine but her test came back as level 1 Boxer and level 4 redbone coonhound. This has never seemed accurate to me, and now after reading the many reviews of others having the same experience I am convinced this test is a scam. The detailed questions they ask to indicate their assumed breed is even more suspicious. It’s very disappointing, especially when pet parents are relying on accurate info for health concerns or other important matters. If you want accurate results, I would definitely pitch in a little more money and go with a more trustworthy brand.Mikayla Arevalo

I’m very pleased with this test that I bought when I Adopted both of these Dogs from Humane Pet Services LLC. They only adopt out dogs/puppies that are pulled out of Over Crowding Shelters where they are at a High Risk of being Euthanized. These dogs/puppies are fixed, up to date on age appropriate shots, wormed and Heartworm Tested. My Goliath was brought in saying Pug Mix his DNA turned out to be Pug/Norwegian Elkhound. What a mix, he’s a very good dog. My Zoe was brought in as a Lhasa Mix her DNA turned up Lhasa/Poodle/Rat Terrier. She is such a fun dog to watch running and playing. Another very good dog given a 2nd Chance at a full and wonderful life.Karen Sowash

My recent rescue, Daisy Duke, stole my heart with her huge erect ears, bright eyes and big brindle spots on a bright white coat. Friends and I made wild guesses as to her breeds.
