Reviews:
I was excited to give these to my dog and help her age gracefully and help keep vision issues at bay. She's not a very picky eater but really doesn't like these. She will occasionally eat one if left out long enough (1 out of every 3 I give her) and the ratio is a little better if I break it open and sprinkle it with bacon grease or something. She will take a bite, spit it out and try again. ..eventually finishing it. We tried giving some to my brother's dog when he was over but he won't even attempt to eat one, won't even bite it to spit it out. The idea is good but if the dogs won't eat them what good is it?
I've only been giving my 11 year old Shihtzu these chews for about a week now. I will say that so far so wonderful! Her eyes are so much clearer, brighter and the haze that has been forming on her eyes has been going away day by day. She does have problems with her eyes watering and getting crusty, so I'm going that this will help this problem too. I'm excited to see how this works after the 4 week mark.
My dog suddenly began losing vision and it was recommended by his doctor to begin taking these types of vitamins for any benefits that could possibly help thr health of his eyes and prolong whatever vision remains. Needless to say, he must think they are delicious. He eats them with no problem at all and looks forward to these perfectly bite-sized treats. I do think they have helped with his eyesight even just a little, so they are worth it to me.olivia.l

Our dog Petal was diagnosed with PRA (Progressive Retinal Atrophy) when she was 5 years old. This disease usually starts in dogs who inherit it when they are between 4 and 6 years old. We were told there was nothing we could do about it and that she would be completely blind in about 1 year, 2 at the very most. We immediately started giving her Ocu-GLO and have given it to her every day since she was diagnosed. Her vision did indeed decline but much much slower than predicted. When she was 10 years old she still had some sight and it's only been in this past year (her 12th) that her vision has gotten drastically worse.. Even still, she's not totally blind. I don't know if Ocu-GLO had anything to do with this, but we felt it was worth trying and we continue to give it to her for overall eye health, including cataracts and possible inflammation from other issues. I recommend it to anyone who has a dog with PRA and would like a shot to preserve their vision for as long as possible.Susan
We have a 6.5 year old Brussels Griffon that has had a run of bad luck! She fell down a set of 3 stairs last October of 2013 and as a result, broke her elbow. After surgery and 3 casts with Dr. Dew an orthopedic surgeon, she is able to walk again. Her missing the stairs had me concerned about her eyesight so during the healing process, I found an ophthalmologist to examine her. Dr. Miller, stated that she did in fact have the onset of cataracts and that could have contributed to the fall however she also had retinal deterioration so she wasn't a good candidate for cataract removal. At his recommendation, we ordered Ocu-Glo RX and started taking the pills immediately. After 3 months we returned to see Dr. Miller and weren't given much hope but he said to continue taking the Ocu-Glo. We returned again for our 6 month check up and again, much of the same. "Keep doing what you're doing". Very disappointing news… However, yesterday we went for our 9 month checkup and were told that both eyes were developing cataracts and one was already very visible and he suspected the other one would be visible quite soon. I had just broke into tears when he stopped and said, "but because the retinal deterioration has stabilized, she is now a candidate for cataract surgery". Thank you Ocu-Glo!! Hopefully because of Ocu-Glo our little Lulu will be able to enjoy her eyesight a little longer!!Lulupink
Hello. My son's pit King, stays downstairs with me. Follows me everywhere, sleeps with me, he has been the best companion, and yes he even talks "smack" back to me if he doesn't get his own way. I stumbled across Ocu-Glow last year and have been using it ever since. His eyes cleared up of the "fog" from the cataracts, I was amazed. King eats what I eat, even my home made sauerkraut :), but he don't like the taste of these if they break open. I roll each pill up in lunchmeat, then have extra slice ready so he will gulp down last pill, works like a charm. King is going to be 15 years old this year in May. On an average, experts say bigger dogs only live to be around 9 years. Now if it can be done for animals, how come not for people? Big pharma and the almighty $, so sad isn't it?Teri T.

Out older dog is on her 3rd tub of the supplement and as far as we can see her eyes have not worsened even the tiniest bit. It has been 9 months now since we started her on Eye Support and we are pleased. We considered the supplements when around Xmas last year I noticed cloudiness in her eyes (she was then just over 10yrs old), so we researched and decided to give it a go. Her eyes are no longer as cloudy as they were back at the start and I am certain they are not getting worse. It did take good two months, though, for me to see the difference – both in her eyes and when walking in the dark. I would say give it a go. We are very happy.Rositsa P
I've been giving Mercola supplements for my dogs for a good time and decided to try this one based on the reviews. I have two chis, 14 and 15yo, and both showed so much improvement with eye support. The female, 15yo, is the most impressive. Some while ago we had to put Night lights all over our house because she was clearly getting blind and having difficulties to walk around during night time. We still have the night lights, but she sure doesn't need it anymore! I'm impressed, amazed, and so happy for her! She now look up and see us, react with our expressions, walk around like she was young again. I really, with all my heart, recommend this product. ♥️ and we haven't even finished the first container.n

Reviews:
My dog went a few days with excessive "goop" from his eyes. Since my dog hasn't had a history with this, and doesn't seem to have seasonal allergies, the vet suggested an antimicrobial for the eye irritation and I went with this ophthalmic gel based on the luck I've had with other Vetericyn products in the past. I started with a tiny drop on the corner of my dog's eye to be sure he wouldn't have any reaction to it. Later that day, I went ahead and applied a few drops in each of his eyes. I applied the gel two times a day for three days in a row and by the fourth day his eyes had stopped having discharge. It is almost like my dog knew the drops would make him feel better as he kept his head very still when I applied the gel to his eyes. The shape of the dispenser where you squeeze the product out of makes it very easy to apply the gel to their eyes. While it is a "gel," it comes out of the dispenser fairly quickly which I find allows for an accurate application. The gel-like substance is great to confirm that you got the gel where you want it to go. I've been super happy with this product for my pup and will most likely get a bottle to have at the barn for my horse as well.SmartPaker Carly
Went out one morning and caught a glimpse of what looked like a little scratch on my horses eye. Upon inspection the eye itself was untouched but the eyelid was cut about an inch long from the back corner towards the front. I cleaned it and figured I would just leave it alone. The next morning it was itchy and irritating her and REALLY swollen. I cleaned her up, applied the Vetericyn ophthalmolic gel, and put a patch over her eye to keep her from rubbing it and repeated this 4 times that day and removed the patch that evening to let it air. By the next morning all the swelling had completely subsided and it was no longer irritating her! I snapped a pic before I cleaned it, then added a 5th dose just for good measure and 5 days later it’s completely healed without a scar to be seen! HIGHLY recommend!Ranch3r1
This product helped me when my dog had an eye wart. The vet said it did not need to be removed until it got to the point that he was scratching at it or it started to affect his vision. During the time of it growing, it started to scab and bleed at times which made me get this product. The anti microbial wash helped keep bacteria out of his eye wart and helped keep infection away. He would play with our other dog constantly and I think this is a great product to have on hand for any cuts and scrapes! It’s basically like neosporin for dogs.chelsea.s

My dogs one eye was red and goopey for days. It reminded me of pink eye but didn't look as bad a few days later. I decided to give this a shot and it did work I would say and took most of it away. I have had her off of this now for a little over a week and her eye is starting look goopey again. It did do the trick and make her feel better for a week but I gotta take her to the vet now to get this fixed for good!NicoleC14
I bought this because my dog is having issues with red, dry, itchy eyes this winter with the dry air. I know it isn't an infection because we went down that road already and I needed a product to help flush out and lubricate his eyes. This seems to do the trick. I use an eue dropper (doesn't come with product) to put ~2 drops in each eye one to two times a day. Since starting this his eyes have been less red, less weird eye boogers, and leas pawing. He can't tell me if his eyes feel lubricated.Alpaca13
My lab is allergic to just about all main ingredients in dog food. Corn, grain, rice, oats, potatoes (white & sweet), gr. beans, you name it. I spent hours in Petco reading ingredient labels this is one of the only ones he can have & it's been great. We also have an older small breed dog & she loves it too. Only con is it does have quite a bit of calories so we substitute half with peas & carrots at dinner.Augustifer

GET THIS!!! I was hesitant to buy due to the price but it is worth every penny. Our rescue puppy had severe separation anxiety and would cry in his crate every night, throughout the night – this completely stopped after we paired him with his Snuggle Buddy. He LOVES his Buddy. A couple of user tips that worked for us:- after washing the Snuggle Buddy, we lightly rubbed our worn socks on it. Why? Bc our socks are an easy way for our dog to have our scent on his Buddy. This might help those whose dogs won’t take to the Buddy. Our puppy was apprehensive at first, but after we rubbed our socks on it, he immediately plopped down on it and slept. Attached is the picture of him that night :)- we *only* give him the Buddy in his crate, when he’s going to bed or will be crated for some time. He has a Pavlovian response and will automatically go into his crate as soon as he sees the Buddy; this might help some dogs with crate training. We also only give it to him in his crate because he tried shredding it, thinking it’s a toy, when he’s taken it out of the crate. We eliminated that by removing and putting away his Buddy every time we wake him up or let him out of his crate.- I bought bulk Hot Hands hand warmers as refills for heat. Get the small ones made for pockets; the body ones are too large and emit too much heat IMO. The pocket ones are perfect and last 12ish hours.- I also play soothing anti-anxiety dog music or put on a dog music channel from YT (they have ones like a walk on the beach or forest, with dogs in the background). I feel like this combo of the Buddy + music are the one-two combo that make our puppy KO haha.I hope this helps those with puppies or dogs who need extra comfort!
Honestly, I don't know how well this product really works. I brought home my toy/miniature poodle mix on June 8 at age 8 weeks and 1 day, and since he was the first littermate separated, I expected it to be bad. I had a 10 hour drive home, and while he did cry and whine a bit, it wasn't too bad. He cuddled with his snuggle puppy at first, but not too much after that. He seemed to prefer beating it up and pushing it out of the spot I had put it in so he could sit there instead. He still beats it up a bit, but he also drags it back to bed after a while, so maybe he does like it.I crate trained him for overnight only (he has a large playpen for the daytime for the short amounts of time I need to be out of the house), and he adjusted quite quickly. I think I got lucky in the dog temperament lottery, though, and am not really sure I can attribute his quick adjustment to crate training to the snuggle puppy. I turn the beating heart feature on every night just in case it is working, but it's hard to say how effective it is. The first 4 to 5 nights I had him home, he cried and whined for the first 20-30 minutes he was put in the crate. Then I would take him outside after 2 hours for potty and put him straight back in and the crying/whining would start again. It was a very sleepless week until I realized that he could hold it for 4 hours at a time and we only have to get up once a night. After the first week, he adjusted to his crate and has never had an accident in there. He doesn't cry at all and is very reluctant to come out at 4 in the morning when it's potty time. I would say that if you have the extra money, get this product because it definitely doesn't hurt to have it. I really do think it's more about being present for your pup's adjustment period and not sticking him in the crate too often than it is about the efficacy of this product. I will say though that I don't use the snuggle puppy in his playpen, and he does still cry a lot in there, so maybe it is effective!
I've only had this Snuggle Puppy for a couple days so I can't comment on durability or anything. I suspect the only issue I'll potentially run into that could cause issues is how well the puppy holds up to washing. I didn't buy this for a puppy. I actually bought it for newly hatched ducklings in a brooder. Sometimes the time between hatchings leaves me with a single duckling for a day or two. Putting a baby with an adult duck isn't a safe option so I was trying to find an alternative. Stuffed animals help some but I got the feeling they really wanted a heartbeat to calm them. They may have feathers instead of fur but they're still babies! So far I'd say it's duckling approved! After snuggling with regular stuffed animals in his brooder, Eggwyn would peep hysterically for someone to pay attention to him. After putting him near Snuggle Puppy he's finally settled down and sleeping quietly. Ducklings poop a LOT so I know Snuggle Puppy will need to be laundered frequently if he stays with the ducklings. Hopefully he holds up.Edit: Snuggle Puppy survived living with 22 newly hatched ducklings in a brooder, staggered hatching over the course of several weeks. He got pooped on a few times and washed perfectly in the washing machine. I now have two ducks who imprinted on us (didn't have ducklings their age to imprint on), and since they're human ducks they sleep in the bedroom. They sleep under my bed with their Snuggle Puppy every night. About once a week or so Snuggle Puppy will get pooped on, and duck poop is gross (big duck poop is bigger and grosser than duckling poop), so Snuggle Puppy gets tossed in the laundry with the ducks' bedding. He's holding up amazingly well. After seeing how much our ducklings loved their Snuggle Puppy I decided to buy one for a friend as a puppy shower gift. They tell everyone how much their puppy loves her Snuggle Puppy. She sleeps with it in her crate every night, which means they can sleep too.Lesson learned? No matter what species your critter baby is, everyone will love a Snuggle Puppy! I only wish it was easier to get replacement hearts. I'm worried I'll forget to pull the heart out before washing puppy one of these days which would surely kill it.

First time trying this out for my dog. So Far he enjoys eating these Vetriscience Clear & Bright Chews. He always looks for them before he actually eats his food. I'm glad he isn't picky. I like that it says it's good for the eyes. So far I see a slight difference in his eyes. My dog tends to have a lot of eye goo but probably because he has seasonal allergies. Like this product because I know as dogs grow old their vision seems to slow down. So this is a great away to help their vision.BrendaV

This product was recommended by my vet to improve the vision and arrest the buildup of cloudy corneas in my 14 year old Standard Poodle. And it's working very well! There is less cloudiness in her eyes, and she can see better. I'll be using Ocluvet on my Poodle from now on. The only drawback is it seems to give my dog some irritation at the time of introduction, but that quickly dissipates.McSoddy

I agree that my dog, a lab hates the flavor and was seeking out the pill and spitting it out until I tried baby food turkey and chicken in the little jars. I use a baby spoon and bury the pill in the meat. She gobbles it up and does even notice even the pill. We do it on an empty stomach first thing in the morning. Now she runs to the spot where the pills are and waits for the treat. Give it a try, and, yes, Denamarin is making a difference in her blood work – a real God send.DixieGirl47
My 12 year old Shiba Inu had 850 liver enzymes. That's so bad and I was so stressed. She has been on this stuff for over 1 year and now her enzymes are about 420. I read some other reviews on how people are getting their dog to take the pill and I laughed because it's what I do also! I wrap a little thin slice of turkey or cheese on top and she takes it with no trouble.K9 love
Cocker has “dry eyes and prescribed steroids and cyclosporine twice daily each eye. Suspect his extremely elevated liver enzymes may be due to long term steroid use or could just be his age. Haven’t tested for Cushing’s but sonograms reveal no tumors on liver or pituitary glands. He was lethargic and never feeling well until his doctor advised trying the Denamarin. His Opthalmologist concurred it was a great idea. Haven’t yet tested his liver enzymes again to see if the numbers have improved (hasn’t been on them quite a full month) but I’ve reordered and will receive the pills monthly. Bottom line: he’s a lot more energetic, playing with his toys again, not sleeping all the time, just overall feeling so much better. He’s acting normal again—normal for an 11-plus year-old Cocker. Did a lot of research before giving him the Denamarin and felt they were safe, and most people had positive results using it. Only drawback would be that the pills for large dogs are really big. You’re supposed to administer 1 hr before or 2 hrs after a meal, which I do with a little piece of boiled chicken breast to hide it and help it go down, and it goes down without a problem. Can’t imagine any dog of any size being able to swallow a pill that size without an owner hiding it in a little chunk of something, cheese, pill pocket, treat. Anything to help it go down easier. And helps if they drink a little water. Can’t wait to have his liver enzymes tested again. I’m confident they will have improved. Side note: when one’s liver is not working properly, urine can have an odd and strong odor, which his did. Standing several feet away, I knew something wasn’t right. That too has resolved which makes me believe his liver is on the mend.Yvonne

Stella is a 6 yr old Chi Terrier Mix. I took her to the NORTHWEST ANIMAL CARE HOSPITAL because she hadn't ate for 1 1/2 days, then threw up blood late in the evening and next day her poo had blood in it and allot of drops on the floor. After ex rays and blood tests Vet said she had a high level of bad bacteria in her gut. Started I/D Chicken on Feb 28 afternoon and evening. I got 3 cans and the first can was very dried out and crumbly. I called them and they said that is the way it is suppose to be? Really. I opened second can when 1st one was empty it was not dried out at all, so I don't think it is suppose to be so dried out like that exp date is 01/2021. I added Hot Water to it for a few days then I had my Son go to PetSmart and get the Only Natural Pet nutrition boost Chicken Bone Broth and been mixing it into the food since. She is on this 4 times a day every 4 hours for 10 days and can't have any dry food or treats until blood test is done again to make sure the bad bacteria is gone. Will be opening the 3rd can in the morning, so I will be getting more cans. She seems to be doing allot better, more energy, seems happier and playing.
We spend our winters in Southern California. Izzy eats a Hills prescription food. Unfortunately we were not able to find it in our CA community. We purchase her food at the 71st & Sheridan store when we are in Tulsa. I went to your web site and ordered two bags of her food. By Friday her food had arrived and she was a happy camper. Thank you for great service. Izzy’s mom and dad.Tammy F.
My mummy always buys this for my sensitive tummy. It's nutritious & filling. Although mummy freaked out when she saw the packet with the German Shepherd picture on it, as normally it has a Border Collie photo on the front. Until, she read it's only new packaging, with same contents. Enjoy fur babies like I do!Rosie

17. Nutramax Dasuquin With Msm For Large Dogs, Tablets – 84 Count
Product Details:
Specifications:
Weight | 12.9 oz |
Reviews:
Dasuquin is an updated product from Nutramax. We gave Nutramax Cosequin to old German Shepherd and Australian cattle dogs that have since passed on because it gave them relief from joint pain that was obvious in the improvement in their ability to get up and lie down and run again. I'm giving maintenance doses of Dasuquin to two large dogs we have now that are age 4 and 5yr to extend the life of their joints. The ingredients are similar to human nutritional supplements for older people: Glucosamine, chondroitin, brewers yeast, dextrose, green tea extract, gum resin, lecithin, cellulose, mixed tocopherols, flavoring and soy protein. avocado/soybean unsaponifiables (ASU) ….. We haven't used Dasuquin long enough for a long term review so my rating is based on previous experience with Nutramax products. The tablets are 3/4 inch in diameter. My dogs won't eat them as they are so I break them into fourths with my fingers and drop them into their food. The tablets are easy to break. If your dog is getting older I recommend this product along with high quality dog food and fresh water.William
I was told my dog had a luxating patella. We would hear his knee popping in and out all the time. Baxter has been on Dasuquin with MSM for many years, and so far we have never had to consider surgery. Baxter gets one full tablet every morning with his morning meal. I think he thinks its a special treat, so he gobbles it right up. Although we still hear his knee pop here and there, we strongly believe that the daily dosage of this joint supplement has avoided more drastic treatments.Lorraine
I bought this as the reviews were mostly positive. I have only been giving it to my two dogs for about 3 weeks, one is a 8 year old lab mix and the other is a 6 year old English Mastif. I will need to give it more time before I definitively say it is working. Here is what I can say: 1) the dogs are eating it, so it passes the taste test; 2) the have been no adverse reactions; 3) my wife observed some improvement on the labs mobility. This is my second bottle and purchasing with Alivet has been very easy and convenient.Marc S

Reviews:
This is one of my go to toys for my girl in her early years of childhood(1-3 would suggest). I am an huge fan of the Mattel brand, Laugh Learn is one of my favorites that they offer. They have options for a girl boy puppy, which is super cool! I have purchased this for daughter when she was 9 months old. It is an engaging toy with sounds, lights, singing. Even an adult would have fun playing with this puppy, they are pretty easy to find in stores a good value. It sings the ABC’s upon the press of the foot or hand, definitely an teachable toy. Plus they last a really long time!! I would highly recommend this toy for any parent with younger kids ranging from 1-3 three years old. It will for sure keep your child occupied teach them important stuff. Nothing I disliked 10/10kamal.b
This is a soft, colourful, cute, educational and interactive puppy. Bought this for my 4 month old and he really enjoys it. He’s now 6 months and pressing the feet and hands. The levels on the yellow foot changes when held down. Do it grows with your little one. The tunes are catchy, and there is a variety of learning content and fun songs. The heart also lights up which grabs my baby’s attention. This would be great as a gift as it will last long as a toy. I highly recommend this puppy. Love it! One of the best toys we havesheena.c
This toy could spur the imagination. It’s the first toy he picks up. I think the intent is to be able to learn some of the colors and words associated with it, which it may work for with some kids, but he mostly just enjoyed the songs and lights, especially in bed at night where they were the brightest. However, he may be 6-8 months past the prime age for learning from this particular toy, since he already knows most of the body parts and colors. The design is really great and has lots of colors while still being tasteful and endearing. Quality, construction, and durability are all really great, and I imagine it will last for as long as we want it and then happily gift to another little one who will get years more out of it. Washing might be a concern, but the few things we have gotten on it have rubbed off with a mildly wet soapy cloth Usability is really good and the squeezable and interactive elements all activate reliably during use, so there is not much frustrating searching and poking to activate features. Batteries are easily accessible and likely wont need to be changed often if ever.april.c
