We found these about a year ago and boy have they made a difference! Our dog is getting older and consequently, his breath is slowly getting worse and worse. We've tried other brands but these work the best by far! Our dog LOVES them and gets so excited for his daily stick. These have natural active ingredients that actually help treat their bad breath instead of just covering/masking it which we love. My in-laws are huge fans of greenies which are crazy expensive and just don't work. Their two lab's breath always smells bad even after consistent daily use of the greenies. We just got them to switch over to these and even just after a few days their dog breath is already so much better! Obviously, these are not a replacement for routine dental care. My little dude isn’t the biggest fan of brushing chews- but he loves these! I have a 3 year old Chinese Crested (hairy hairless) and the hairless variety of this breed suffer from a gene that causes them to lose teeth or have improper dentition and dental issues. I adopted an older girl from our local shelter. From what we could tell, she had been on the streets for a long time, but seemed healthy. I adopted a dog 2 years ago and she is great. I love how versatile this is! I have 3 dogs. My largest being 80lbs and two 10lb dogs. I love that unlike some calming treats that have to be broken up due to size or more for my larger dog this I can measure out and each dog gets just what they need. My GSD has bad separation issues (we adopting him and he was kenneled all the time so he gets really nervous) This calming infusion has taken the edge off. He seems to be much calmer in the past week when we give him it before bed or before we leave. My little dogs like it also. They loved the flavor and are excited for it.
My small Feist breed has developed severe separation anxiety and aggression which has become unsafe and unhealthy for her. I decided to try this calming solution because of its healthy ingredients and it's working wonderfully. I have to mix small treats with it so she will eat it but giving half of the recommended dose in the morning keeps her calm but still playful throughout the day. We give her the full recommended dose when we're gonna be gone for long periods of time. We have seen a drastic change in her behavior. She still wants to be close to us but is not longer whining and chewing household items. Her aggression has seemed to slow down as well. I highly recommend you try this for your dog if they are experiencing anxiety issues.

If I did not buy this powder from 1 800 pet meds. I would have to get the liquid form or molasses form. They also work: I like Cranberry Relief, because it works like the others. Cranberry Relief goes farther. I get more for my money. I can not put it in the food or try and disguise it. Pete either smells it in the food or tastes it. He will not eat the food. So, I have to put the powder in gelatin capsules and orally give him one in the morning and one in the evening. Pete just does not drink enough water. I got tired of spending a lot of money on SO 33 cat food. SO 33 makes the cat thirsty so they drink more. It also cost 55 to 65 dollars a bag. It goes up in price ever year. As long as the cranberry relief works. I can skip the expensive prescription foods. IF it stops working. I will have to try something else. Pete has been on the Cranberry Relief 3 months, so far it is working.
I read the reviews on this product here, and thought I'd give it a shot. My kitty has been getting UTI's for the last couple years, but this year she's had 3, which was quite worrying (and expensive). Every time I've taken her to the vet, they have given her antibiotics, and taken a urine sample. Every time the urinalysis came back, it showed she was clear of any harmful bacteria (so the antibiotics weren't helpful). My vet said that for some cats, they are very sensitive to stress and this causes inflammation in the bladder or urinary tract, causing her to have painful/frequent urination and blood in her urine. The last UTI she had went away on it's own. I just stayed with her for every hour besides when I was working to protect her from some bully cats in our neighborhood that might be causing the extra stress. (Also bought her some UT Support treats and Feliway for stress reduction). That worked last time. This time I feared I'd have to take her back because she really looked to be in pain… but I read about this product, (so I bought it from a local pet store, just cause I needed it right away for her) and tried it first before taking her to the vet (which is also quite stressful for her). It worked! Within two days of giving her Cranberry Relief she was urinating much less frequently And now she is actually using her litter box instead of in the bathroom sink, on my laundry or on my bathroom mat. She does not look to be in any pain, and she's purring for no apparent reason (I assume just from not being uncomfortable anymore.) I'm really happy with the results of this product. I did notice that she did not eat the food I put it in, in any larger doses than one scoop, with half a can of wet food, at least not right away. I had to not give her any alternative food and wait, and she eventually ate it. My other cat, who has never had UT problems, munched up the food better than my cat who needed the Cranberry Relief. Try this product. I'm really glad I did, and I will use it for maintenance as well in the future.
i gave this product to my chi-Pom 2ce, both times only giving 1/2 of the soft chew to introduce it slowly. The first time she scarfed it down as if it were a yummy treat but then immediately violently threw it up. I thought maybe it was because she didn't chew it very well. 2nd time, I waited a day and crumbled part of it into her breakfast, shortly after she became sluggish and started throwing up again 4 times total throughout the day. First off, this product was shipped to me with every precaution against seepage, spillage or the bottle leaking (see photos). I order a lot online and was very impressed at how the product was packed for shipment. The bottle was encased in a bubble, sealed pack that I had to cut open with scissors to access the 32 ounce bottle. This product contains 1600mg of Glucosamine Hcl, 1200 MG Chondroitin Sulfate and undisclosed amount of HA (Hyaluronic Acid). The formula also contains aloe vera juice, citric acid, potassium sorbate, vegetable glycerin, Stevia and water. There are some cautions such as pregnant or animals intended for breeding that safe use hasn't been proven so read the caution section carefully. For my small dog, the directions stated to shake the product well, and measure out two teaspoons; there is a weight chart to indicate what dosage you should use according to your pet's weight. (Refrigerate after opening the product). I mixed the formula in with my dog's food, and she didn't seem to turn her nose up at her food, she is a very picky eater. She finished her food with no issue each time I added the liquid which was daily. I haven't used this for very long but after a few days, she seems to be moving with more ease. My cat is very high strung and exhibits behaviour indicative of Pica. He picks carpet, couches and bed covers with his teeth. After the first few days of giving him this remedy his picking increased and was out of control. I attributed this to a healing crisis??? It has now been about four weeks since he’s been taking it. I've been volunteering at a shelter for 2 1/2 years and the unthinkable happened…I was adopted by a 6 month old kitten. We have two cats who are sisters from the same litter, Scout and Sadie. We got them at 8 weeks old. They have always been together. They are typical sisters who play together and sometimes are annoyed with each other, but they’ve always gotten along quite fine and without aggression. This summer we brought them to a cabin. This is a difficult review for me. While Vetoryl helped my dog in the beginning, she developed some of the negative side effects after being on it for just over a year. She became very lethargic and began to collapse in the floor. She was extremely weak. She had lost about 13 pound in 12 months. I immediately took her to the vet. He took her off Vetoryl and put her on Prednisone which she has now been taking for about 3 months. With the Prednisone, she was Immediately more alert, was less lethargic and her strength improved. She has also began to gain some much need weight. I AM NOT saying not to give your dog Vetoryl, I'm saying to closely monitor your dog for any side effect that may develop the longer your dog is on Vetoryl. The problem with monitoring your dog is that the negative symptoms Vetoryl and the symptoms of Cushing's Disease mirror each other. Which makes it more difficult to decide if it's the Vetoryl or Cushing's Disease that is killing your dog. You have to "know your dog". Know what looks right and what does not. If you suspect your dog may be having a reaction to Vetoryl, talk to your vet immediately.TERRY

Review of PetMeds in general: Fast delivery as promised, very polite and competent phone and computer customer service. Vetsulin: Hard to review a prescription product really but here's my experience: my vet had me try Vetsulin since Humulin did not work on my dog at all (Humulin is more easily available and at that time cheaper though this is probably no longer true#. His blood sugar levels have improved so-so on Vetsulin which is better than nothing on Humulin. We are gradually increasing the dose to see if those can be improved. My vet reminds me that you DO have to shake Vetsulin a little before using. #unlike Humulin which under no circumstances should the bottle be shaken) Caution – I believe I had a big problem for a few days when I accidentally left the bottle out for about 12 hours. You should always always refrigerate! I used it anyway because I was 'broke' and couldn't afford to buy more. My dog became very symptomatic, urinating a lot and stumbling around in an uncoordinated way. When I finally got paid and could buy more, he did get better again. I don't know if the nonrefrigeration just made it lose effectiveness or if it actually 'went bad' but I do not want to risk this again! Anyway, there's hope that we'll find a dose that works. Diabetes is almost completely unknown in Ibizans and there's no hereditary background for him based on info I trust. I don't know why he got it but he had become overweight which was strange since most Ibizans are very light eaters.
The Vetsulin is sent directly from a contracted Vet & appears to be fine. My experience with Vetsulin is this: It saved my dog's life, but is difficult to maintain a steady level. In part by the dog's diabetes and in part by the ability to control their sugar. We've gone from 1.5 units to 4 units in a little over a year for a 10lb dog. I've asked around and it's not completely unusual but it does tend to get really expensive so a lot of people are switching to a competitor. The price here is already inflated but I have a gift card that I need to use so I'll take the hit. It could have been packed better. It comes in the standard large foam cooler but it was not lined, it had 3 ice packs on the bottom and some plastic where a competitor's came fully lined and encapsulated. It's 107 degrees here today so that could be a concern, especially since Petco was unable to give me any legitimate updates (long story that we can't share here but I took it up with customer service to no resolve).DelilahsMama

Ever since I adopted my little Angel a few months ago, I've wanted to get rid of her overly flaky coat and large amount of shedding. My vet first prescribed the standard fatty acid capsules. They were too large to administer by themselves and with pill pockets. Squeezing the liquid into Angel's wet food was out of the question as well, as she is EXTREMELY picky when it comes to supplementing her food with vitamins, medicines, etc. and refused to touch her dinner if it had the liquid in it. Exasperated, I purchased Ark Naturals Royal Coat and crossed my fingers, hoping she wouldn't reject it. Success! Angel actually seems to like her wet food even more with Royal Coat mixed in it. My dog suddenly got a horrible skin rash and I decided to try these natural chews. First of all, she didn’t like the taste, but she is VERY finicky. I ordered a product for over $200. When received, the product did not work for me – so I immediately contacted Essential Pet Products. I received notification to use Return Authorization using the authorization numbers, including a copy of the invoice. Test was super easy to conduct. Customer service was superb. Their lab has several accreditation’s that help me feel more confident in the accuracy of the tests. My pup came up with 21 allergies, all mild but one. We removed all the food allergies from her diet. I have 3 large dogs ranging in age from 1 to 10 years. The oldest one has some allery issues with itchy skin, and the youngest has digestive issues. Since gut health and immunity is important, and can decline with age, I think a prebiotic/probiotic supplement for dogs is a good idea. I like that it has a prebiotic and probiotic. This type of supplement is important for fighting inflammation and allergies, which is why I take one myself. Zesty Paws Advanced Allergy Immune Supplement seems like a good bet and I was pleased that all three dogs enjoyed eating it as if it were a treat. They have not bene taking it long enough to fully determine how well it works, but happily my older gy has had no skin issues while on it and my youngest has had no digestive issues.scrunchypickle
I have a puppy pit bull/lab mix who has seasonal itchy eyes. We have tried OTC allergy eye drops recommended by our vet which gave him minimal relief. I was very eager for him to try the Zesty Paws Aller-Immune puppy bites. Each bite is a cute heart-shaped lamb flavor "treat." That's exactly how my dog views taking these- a treat! Compared to trying to wrestle him to get his eye drops in- much easier. He has been on them for about a month now and I have noticed a decrease in his itching. I have been giving the Zesty Paws Aller-Immune Mini Bites to my 3-year old Boston Terrier. She historically has had some kind of skin allergies bothering her for her whole life. Various trips to professionals and special diets occurred previously. I was excited by the appeal of the Aller-Immune bites. These bite-sized "treats" boast Immune support and Seasonal allergy improvement. It hasn't helped my dog in this way, in fact she has been scratching more and more. It's tough to say if it's the result of this product or if the weather and flora outside is changing. When things balance out again, I will continue to serve the rest of the product to my dog and see if it helps her gut. This product has probiotics advertised and it's possible it will be beneficial in the end. We will keep a close eye on her. We're glad we were able to try a new product.
