Bought Two of these – One for each grand dog home. Shipped to family member where we have Xmas and “Pup Pup”, the resident parcel inspector and delivery announcer went bonkers when the ball was removed from the shipping box. I would recommend this toy for a smaller dog or one who is not a powerful chewer. I know this is not intended to be a chew toy, but realistically, if you have a medium or large dog, they usually have a tendency to chew any toy you put in front of them. I have an English Pointer mix who normally destroys any toy I give him unless I get it from BullyMake or BarkBox. Unfortunately, neither offer a toy that compares to this one in terms of entertainment for your dog. He absolutely loved this toy so it is a shame that he was able to bite chucks out of it within 20 minutes. I can't find the pieces that he took out of it so I'm waiting to see if he passes them. If not, it will be a visit to the vet. He was so sad when I took it away from him and looked at me with those sad brown eyes. I would love to have one of stronger material that he could play with and not have to worry. I only wish for the love of parents that it had an on off switch. Putting the batteries in was not very difficult but the on/off switch did not work very well. No matter what I did, when I was trying to put the ball back in the cover, it would keep going off. I would turn it off just as illustrated but I guess my hand would hit the button and turn it back on and it would turn on and start barking and vibrating again. It's not expensive and appears to be made well, but 1. was nearly impossible to open the pocket that houses the ball to insert the 3 x AAA batteries. Actually had to cut the stitching to remove it. 2. My 2 dogs were scared of it and wouldn't even engage with it, possibly because, in addition to jumping around, it has barking and whimpering sound effects (what were they thinking?!?!). 3. If they had played with it as intended, most dogs would grab the tail and shake it side to side. With new balls, and a new machine, the product is exactly as advertised. After 10 minutes of fetch, the ball is too wet to throw as expected. The ball gets dirty, and the machine does too, creating a muddy internal process. The balls sent with the machine were subpar quality, and lasted about 25 throws a piece before they were starting to come apart. The machine doesn't adjust for ball sizes, so as a tennis ball wears down, the machine can't grab it, and forget about a tennis ball without it's hairy skin, they are too small by far. It's charging good, and working well if I keep putting new tennis balls in it, and run a towel through it, (although that's hard to do.) I suggest a manual adjustment be added to future products, to change the distance between the wheels that grab the ball. I think a tiny tweak on my machine would allow it to through hard rubber balls that wouldn't get nearly as dirty or wet, and keep the machine cleaner. Overall, I think the product is good, but is flawed in design. If there were just a few more capacities to make it work in the field and with different ball sizes, I think it's be a very strong product.Adam T.

This toy works really well! Just as described. I was impressed that there were no issues with the "ricochet" technology, and putting the toys together/turning them on and off is a breeze. However, my pup just loses interest pretty quickly when we use this toy. She will play with it for maybe 4-5 minutes and then is done. So, it works great! But is just not my dogs favorite toy. This toy seemed like a fun Christmas gift for my daughter. The dog worked okay for a week and then a leg busted so the dog couldn't stay up. We returned the dog and got a replacement. The second dog kept randomly dying all the time every couple minutes and just would not work. When I bought the toy there were no reviews out since it was new but now that it has been out a few months I see several people have had the exact same issues I have experienced. This product seemed to be perfect. I ordered it. Within a week I see cheerble is now advertising a new version of the ball, felt like I missed out on a new improved design but was eager to see what the wicked ball W1 still had to offer. The ball showed up two weeks after and both my pet and I were excited. I got it out of the packaging read the manual and gave it to my French bull dog eager to play. She immediately took to it and could tell she was obsessed. This seemed all too good to be true. And it was…. In less than ten minutes our Frenchie had managed to get the clear plastic ring from the centre apart from the shell and dismantle the shell….maybe I should have got a replacement one but don't believe I should have to pay $10 to give my dog 10minutes of play… That is not sustainable living… Not for us anyways… Perhaps the new design is more durable but after spending $60+ for a ball after tax and shipping that couldn't withstand a 25lb pup I'm not to eager to dish it out again…. I got the shell to my apartment at school so by the time I was able to give it to my dog was about a month after I had received it so I never put in another request for a new one as I had no way to prove that it didn’t work since day 1. I’m hoping I was just unlucky as this was an amazing idea for a product that I loved when it did work, I’m just sad I spent so so much money for it to not work on me twice. Bought Two of these – One for each grand dog home. Shipped to family member where we have Xmas and “Pup Pup”, the resident parcel inspector and delivery announcer went bonkers when the ball was removed from the shipping box. The ball is very rigid plastic which prevents total instant destruction by the doxie tag team that makes short work of any toy in reach. I would recommend this toy for a smaller dog or one who is not a powerful chewer. I know this is not intended to be a chew toy, but realistically, if you have a medium or large dog, they usually have a tendency to chew any toy you put in front of them. I have an English Pointer mix who normally destroys any toy I give him unless I get it from BullyMake or BarkBox. Unfortunately, neither offer a toy that compares to this one in terms of entertainment for your dog. He absolutely loved this toy so it is a shame that he was able to bite chucks out of it within 20 minutes. I can't find the pieces that he took out of it so I'm waiting to see if he passes them. If not, it will be a visit to the vet. He was so sad when I took it away from him and looked at me with those sad brown eyes. I would love to have one of stronger material that he could play with and not have to worry. The concept for this toy is spot on and I would give it a positive review for a smaller dog or a breed that is not a strong chewer.pompano01-us
