At first sight my dog was very excited to play with his new toy. He is a small/medium dog but more on the smaller side, after only 5 minutes of him trying to get his treat out the banana, a big chunk rips off. Luckily I was there to grab the plastic chunk so he wouldn't choke on it. The "hardness" is the same as a cheap toy you would find at the dollar store. I thought that the 3 balls shared a single interior section, but they're in fact 3 separate sections with a thick lining separating them. The large version does NOT hold 2/3 of a cup of kibble & the small does NOT hold 1/4 cup of kibble. Filling all 3 sections of the toy, I was only able to put about 2/3 of each dog's meal in the toy and then had to refill with the remaining 1/3 of their meal once they emptied the toy. This is disappointing as these are not large portions & from the exterior, it would appear that the large would easily hold at least 2/3 of a cup of kibble, but it does not.I will keep using it & just have to refill with the remainder of my dogs' meals when they empty the first load, but having a single interior chamber, or at least a far thinner interior chamber would be better. The product's design and styling are quite good. Our puppy enjoyed using it and was genuinely engaged. Having four settings of complexity meant it would hopefully be able to "grow" with her. The problem came in with the materials chosen. The entire outside is rubberized which is great in theory as it means less noise and less wear and tear on floors/furniture. Got this to replace my dogs Kong Wobbler. My dog had his wobbler for years and it held up great, I just didnât like the color (itâs bright red; thereâs no color options). I was excited when I saw this toy, it fits the aesthetic of my home. I also liked that there were difficulty settings on this toy (something the kong doesnât have) but for almost $60 I expected it to hold up for more than 10 minutes⊠my dog isnât even destructive, but he somehow chipped off the rubber around the treat dispenser. This product was great. It's the first puzzle toy that our puppy has interacted with and it took him a little while to figure it out at first (5-10 minutes). He was initially unsure about the product, thinking it was more of a chew toy. The following few days, he's gotten better at figuring out how to dispense food from The Game. I've moved it from Level 1 to Level 2 and he seems to be pretty proficient at it now. I'm thinking of moving to Level 3 and am curious about how it will change the interaction. I went through 3 other interactive dispensers which did the last a day, seriously I walked away for 5 minutes came back destroyed. This is the 1st one that he wasn't able to destroy right off the bat. I really didnât think that my dog would enjoy a puzzle type toy. But he does love pizza so anything that looks like pizza would be of interest to him. I filled it with some kibble just to test it out. He was instantly drawn to it.
