My cat has had stomatitis for years and traditional vet medicine has not done much for him. Completely aside from this size being WAY better value for money than I could EVER buy in Australia – This stuff WORKS. Both dogs are Spitz breeds (you know, "Independent") and don't tolerate me brushing their teeth. Adding complications: one is allergic to all meat besides fish and the other suffers from anxiety. The wipes do help somewhat to freshen your dog's breath and aid in keeping their teeth clean if used regularly, but aren't a complete solution, especially if they already have visible tartar. Giving the teeth a firm few wipes removes a good amount of the yellowing on the sides of the teeth, but doesn't help in all the ridges and up along the gum line. I'd say they're best for maintaining already-clean teeth, and in combination with teeth brushing, especially if they already have tartar. They're quick and easy and allow me to brush less often. Useful for my smallest dog who can close her lips very tightly, making it hard to use a toothbrush. I use this on my small senior dog. He fights every attempt to clean his teeth with a brush and/or eats the toothpaste. So I bought this product and I love it. I have an almost 5 year old golden who absolutely hates having his teeth brushed. He has had seriously terrible tarter and plaque build up (and bad breath) and I was seriously considering have him put under for a deep teeth cleaning. My Chiweenie's teeth do not have tartar on them since I started using this.
