I've tried the Veterinary Formula Clinical Care Antiseptic and Anti fungal Spray for Dogs and Cats on a few of our outside cats. They've been deflead but one still kept scratching and losing fur just above her tail. I'm not sure if it's an allergic reaction to the fleas or if it's the result of a thyroid problem. But we tried this spray and the itching stopped immediately. It's been almost 3 weeks and she still isn't scratching it. I also wanted to try this on some ringworm that a few of the outside cats have. I've been spraying this on for almost 3 weeks now but haven't really seen any improvement with the ringworm spots that I'm treating. Ringworm can respond slow to treatments anyway so I'm not sure if this is going to help with that or not. The spray is a pump and it has a light citrus smell, kind of like oranges. It will not harm your pet if they lick it. It didn't list a minimum age that you can use it on. It contains Chlorhexidine Gluconate, Keratin, and Aloe Vera. It's listed as an antifungal, antimicrobial, and antibacterial. To use this you just spray the area tell really wet, twice daily for a week, then once daily for another week. I read the reviews for this product but was still a bit skeptical for it to actually work. One of my cats (2 yr old orange tabby) literally scratched the size of a 50 cent bare spot (literally overnight) in center of his back below shoulder blade. By the end of the day the circle was warm red inflamed and gross. Being on a tight budget I did my research for home remedies. First I began applying a year old vet prescribed Dermalone antibiotic that was prescribed for one of my other cats for 3 days but area got worse. Then began applying Neosporin for 2 days lightly on and around scab now and ( luckily the spot was where he could not reach to lick off) and it did nothing as well. A week later purchased this product, followed the directions and a week later the area was completed healed. Scab dried and fell off and new skin looks perfect and normal. Unfortunately I dont know what this was for did not take him to a vet. Infected area did resemble pictures of ringworm online. I am so thankful to have found this today! My poor dog could not stop scratching and licking under his front legs, and they were raw and bleeding. He was whimpering but would not stop. We used this product on our grand dog. He was a scaly, crusty mess and had lost most of his hair. We took him to the vet and put him a regimen of medicated shampoo, oral antibiotics and an immunomodulator. We used the Skin Soother immediately after his daily bath. We also have him the salmon treats daily. I believe this product helped him regain his health. His color came back and all the scales and itching were gone. So I bought another. My pug had a dark bald spot on his neck from scratching and I was looking for something that would hopefully heal the area and let his hair grow back. I discovered the skin soother and decided to give it a try and this worked like magic! I ordered the 2 oz stick version and loved it. The application was great. It was very easy and clean to apply overall. I applied it to the area twice a day for two weeks before I was able to start seeing results. The hair started growing back and the dark skin was lightening up and becoming less dry and flaky. At the same time, my dog was scratching at it less so that was a plus. Only thing is this stick was practically gone by my second week. It would not have come close to lasting the month. That being said, I had to order another to see continued results but I ordered the larger tin instead. My only issue with this product is the tin is a lot harder to apply. The texture itself is not as soft and smooth as the stick. I also had to use my own hands to spread it on which I did not like at all. It also gets messy in the tin as my pug sheds so there is now hair stuck in the product. My recommendation to the company would be to have the stick in a larger option and I would gladly purchase that. However, currently I greatly regret purchasing two of the tins instead of the smaller sticks. All in all, this product works and I would buy it again! A puppy was pretty much dropped in my lap several days ago, her belly was SO bloated as she hadn't had any vet care prior. Before even getting her home I pondered the wormers at our local Petco, selected this one. On day 3 the worms came out, though her poor bloated belly was reduced after the first day. Will use this again if worming can't wait for the vet. Due to her weight we did have to weigh out the medicine (half a gram ='s 1/4 teaspoon), and you must have an accurate weight on the dog and an accurate measuring device for it to be as effective as it can be without giving too much. during the late fall to the end of winter I give these to my dogs to prevent worms. Then early spring I switch over to Heartguard. You get three packs. I use two packs per dog per month. Each pack 40 pounds. Total 80 pound dog. Sprinkle in with a quarter cup of warm broth, stir well. pour over their dry food and blend in. They won't notice and eat their food. Sneaky but, it works. Saves me tons of money. I have two large dogs and Heart-guard can be very expensive every month so I subsitute during the cool to cold months. You save and your dogs stay healthy from worms. My gelding looks like a yak by the time spring arrives as he gets more than a winter coat. It's as though he's wearing a rug. Last year as he began to shed we noticed he had what I can only describe as a dermatitis along his top line. It wasn't from lack of grooming; I stay on top of that. I have tried several products to treat thrush and scabs on my horse's pasterns. I'd see some improvement but the grunge never cleared up entirely. No Thrush had very good results with the thrushy frog. My farrier noticed a big difference. It's also slowly reducing the scabs at the top of his heels. I bought another bottle to keep on hand after one week. I don't want to run out! My only complaint is that it's difficult to control the amount of powder that comes out of the tip. A small hole clogs, a larger hole sends it everywhere. It's too pricey to waste. I shake some into a small cap and brush it in with a soft toothbrush.Katie5k

My horse has been pretty lucky and has never really had a bad case of thrush which is pretty remarkable because we live in the super wet Pacific Northwest. For whatever reason this last fall and winter, he's had a pretty nasty case that has been difficult to get rid of. My normal treatment methods were not making any headway, so when a friend recommended I give this a try, I thought it was worth a test. I am glad I did as it has really been helpful in keeping the infection under control. It has not eliminated it completely (I don't expect that to happen until it dries out later this year), but it has kept it at a manageable level. It would get 5 stars, but this stuff is not cheap and if you are using it every day, it does not last long.skjs18

I have a mare who has super sensitive skin. She was out to pasture in the spring and before I could notice the gnats got to her belly and it was bad. I will always have a bottle of Banixx in my house now. I have a Great Dane mix that has severe skin sensitivities. My standard poodle suffers from outdoor allergies. After battling them all summer the vet just said to double up on benadryl. I felt like I was drugging my dog. I saw an ad for these chews and thought it would be a better option to at least give it a try. My boy wasn't sure about the taste the first day and I had to wrap it in cheese. The second day, and every day since, he's gobbled it right down just like a treat! To test the results I totally stopped the benadryl and only gave him these chews. He only showed minor symptoms a couple of different occassions in which I went ahead and gave him a single dose of bendryl as needed. But the majority of days were symptom free (his biggest symptom is chewing his paws) and no benadryl needed. What's even better? Wow is right, because I am floored at how well this works! I have 2 pups with horrible allergies – one that nothing else works for. I've tried all different meds, including shots, and she still suffered horribly during allergy season. I reluctantly decided to try this, but we were in the middle of allergy season, and watching her suffer is just too much. Fast forward to July 2019, and my order came in the mail. I gave two of the chewables to my pup the next morning, not expecting much, but just hoping that there would at least be a little relief. Much to my surprise, she didn't scratch AT ALL that day!! I was still skeptical, but same results the next day, the day after that, etc. It has now been over a month, and she STILL doesn't even have any break through scratching, NO MORE scabs, NO MORE pulling out her hair in spots! How does this product compare to other products you've tried? This product seems to be the equivalent to one that I was prescribed for my cat from the vet. The Vetericyn Plus Hotspot Antimicrobial Hydrogel, is a lot cheaper than the one prescribed. What are some benefits of owning this product? My cat seems to have a habit of biting her fur off, usually after I have put flea medication on her. We have discovered she is a bit allergic to ingredients in most flea medication. My poor pupper got irritated paws from horrible ginko berries smashed all over the fall ground and then made them worse by licking. They were so red and I felt so bad. This product is on the shelf next to a dozen others that claim to do the same thing, but I didn't get to it until three others didn't get the job done. This showed visible improvement within a day. Bonus that he didn't lick it off – before I tried this I would combo an antimicrobial with one of those "bitter taste dogs hate" sprays, but my dog is weird and loved those things and would lick them like crazy. Thanks to all the reviews I thought I’d give this a go. My dog Einstein had another vascular tumor removed (2nd time, same place) on his inner front left upper leg. The Vet has to leave it open w/no sutures since he had to remove much more around the margins & go deeper so hopefully it won’t come back again so it had to heal as a huge open wound. It was kind of gross. Since he loves to be outside most of the time I wanted to keep it clean & not get infected so I ordered this & how thrilled I am with this product! My gosh you can use it for so much! Even my little Rat Terrier has some kind of allergy, I think it’s the sand in our backyard that he rolls around in. The product is "heavy water" which is a weak acid, and it seemed to be helping (ringworm) and causing no skin irritation for my dog, but alas the 8oz bottle ran out too soon – I should've bought at least 16oz. I've switched to cider vinegar and aloe vera lotion and seem to be equaling the success. If it's good for equestrian use it's good for me too, but next time I'll buy a larger more economical bottle. This is better than pricey vet shampoo! I say this because our 3 year old lab mix is sensitive to the season changes and with that being said he has quite a few hotspots throughout the year. We went to the vet the very first time it happened and received some allergy meds. Now they did work in the long run (we had to give them to him for about two weeks) but it didn’t necessarily help his skin—the itching, scratching, and biting. We have had Vetoquinol medicated shampoo in the past but it’s so expensive, anywhere from $25-$35 a bottle. So I did some research on medicated shampoos and came across this one. I was skeptic because it is on the cheaper end and you know how that sometimes goes haha. Needless to say I’ve never actually had a product cost less than half the price and do what a name brand does. It cleared up his skin in a few days (using it twice a week) until the spots were gone although he did get relief the very first time we bathed him in it; which is such a wonderful thing to witness when your dog is visibly struggling. Just please don’t stop making this product and carrying it Walmart!!! We depend on it!!! So sorry I don’t have before and after photos for you to see for yourself but just buy it, you will not be disappointed plus it will save you SO much money.

My dog has been having such problems with his skin, super itchy and has always been very sensitive. I purchased wrinkle wipes and wrinkle paste. I called to get some information on it's use, I used the phone number to speak person to person with a "team member" about my and my Vets concern's about it's use. As I was unable to find a list of ingredients on the site. I had to purchase the product to obtain a list of it's ingredients. So that my vet could determine if it was indeed safe for my dogs situation. He had some concerns.
To my dismay the phone only referred me to use the email address that was posted right next to the phone number???? If using the phone number is a waste of time, why is it provided. If email would have suited this situation I would have used it. Having a voice message to use the email and no other options is absolutely unacceptable customer service. They make it seem as if they care, but as elsewhere in life I see that actions (or lack of ) speak louder words. My frenchie has bad allergies and his face is always wet causing his wrinkles to become prone to infection his face would start bleeding in spots from how severe it was getting. I would use other products and they wouldnt really help.. but this stuff really works! His face looks soooo much better and has improved dramatically.
