This vaccine is as described. Everything you need to administer one dose is included with good instructions. We vaccinated 5 puppies (very easy) and one adult dog (not so easy). With a larger dog have a helper to keep the dog from backing away from the prick of the needle. Even when I cover them he trys to get the bandage off to get at them. It says this provides some pain relief, so I'm hoping that will discourage the licking. I've tried the Veterinary Formula Clinical Care Antiseptic and Anti fungal Spray for Dogs and Cats on a few of our outside cats. They've been deflead but one still kept scratching and losing fur just above her tail. I'm not sure if it's an allergic reaction to the fleas or if it's the result of a thyroid problem. But we tried this spray and the itching stopped immediately. It's been almost 3 weeks and she still isn't scratching it. I also wanted to try this on some ringworm that a few of the outside cats have. I've been spraying this on for almost 3 weeks now but haven't really seen any improvement with the ringworm spots that I'm treating. Ringworm can respond slow to treatments anyway so I'm not sure if this is going to help with that or not. The spray is a pump and it has a light citrus smell, kind of like oranges. It will not harm your pet if they lick it. It didn't list a minimum age that you can use it on. It contains Chlorhexidine Gluconate, Keratin, and Aloe Vera. It's listed as an antifungal, antimicrobial, and antibacterial. To use this you just spray the area tell really wet, twice daily for a week, then once daily for another week. I read the reviews for this product but was still a bit skeptical for it to actually work. One of my cats (2 yr old orange tabby) literally scratched the size of a 50 cent bare spot (literally overnight) in center of his back below shoulder blade. By the end of the day the circle was warm red inflamed and gross. Being on a tight budget I did my research for home remedies. First I began applying a year old vet prescribed Dermalone antibiotic that was prescribed for one of my other cats for 3 days but area got worse. Then began applying Neosporin for 2 days lightly on and around scab now and ( luckily the spot was where he could not reach to lick off) and it did nothing as well. A week later purchased this product, followed the directions and a week later the area was completed healed. Scab dried and fell off and new skin looks perfect and normal. Unfortunately I dont know what this was for did not take him to a vet. Infected area did resemble pictures of ringworm online. Im not a vet but am thinking whatever it was it was some type of fungal infection. Benefits of product; it wasnt expensive, was easy to apply, and has a light pleasant scent.Debbie

I am so thankful to have found this today! My poor dog could not stop scratching and licking under his front legs, and they were raw and bleeding. He was whimpering but would not stop. I am a vet assistant, and I see all kinds of animals coming in with different skin conditions or allergies and always felt so bad for them and their owners….. then I got a dog with allergies and then I found out what it's really like…. it is devastating watching your dog itch and scratch to the point of pulling their hair out, then when the hair is gone… then there goes their skin…. they will make themselves bleed and still won't stop. I tried benadryl I tried EVERYTHING, had to even do skin antibiotics and steroid Injections and still he was itching…. so… the dr tried him on this….. now… first thing I will say is this medication isn't cheap especially for bigger dogs (if you have a 10lbs dog it's not going to be too bad) but my poor dog had to start off taking 2 16mg 2 times a day and it was roughly 300 for the first month, however from there you taper down and after a few months I got him down to half a tablet once daily…. anyway…. this medication worked like a dream for him. He hasn't had any issues for over a year now and although sometimes he scratches its more of a normal itch. This medication literally saved him and my sanity. A puppy was pretty much dropped in my lap several days ago, her belly was SO bloated as she hadn't had any vet care prior. Before even getting her home I pondered the wormers at our local Petco, selected this one. On day 3 the worms came out, though her poor bloated belly was reduced after the first day. Will use this again if worming can't wait for the vet. Due to her weight we did have to weigh out the medicine (half a gram ='s 1/4 teaspoon), and you must have an accurate weight on the dog and an accurate measuring device for it to be as effective as it can be without giving too much. My dog went a few days with excessive "goop" from his eyes. Since my dog hasn't had a history with this, and doesn't seem to have seasonal allergies, the vet suggested an antimicrobial for the eye irritation and I went with this ophthalmic gel based on the luck I've had with other Vetericyn products in the past. I started with a tiny drop on the corner of my dog's eye to be sure he wouldn't have any reaction to it. Later that day, I went ahead and applied a few drops in each of his eyes. I applied the gel two times a day for three days in a row and by the fourth day his eyes had stopped having discharge. It is almost like my dog knew the drops would make him feel better as he kept his head very still when I applied the gel to his eyes. The shape of the dispenser where you squeeze the product out of makes it very easy to apply the gel to their eyes. While it is a "gel," it comes out of the dispenser fairly quickly which I find allows for an accurate application. The gel-like substance is great to confirm that you got the gel where you want it to go. Went out one morning and caught a glimpse of what looked like a little scratch on my horses eye. Upon inspection the eye itself was untouched but the eyelid was cut about an inch long from the back corner towards the front. I cleaned it and figured I would just leave it alone. The next morning it was itchy and irritating her and REALLY swollen. I cleaned her up, applied the Vetericyn ophthalmolic gel, and put a patch over her eye to keep her from rubbing it and repeated this 4 times that day and removed the patch that evening to let it air. By the next morning all the swelling had completely subsided and it was no longer irritating her! My Pomeranian is 14 1/2 yrs old. She was diagnosed with trachea collapse. The doctor suspected she had Cushings Disease, and I'm quite sure she has. Other than an increase in thirst levels, my dog Tifa didn't have any other symptoms of note when she was diagnosed with Cushings and I decided to put her on the Adrenal Support and HMR Lignans. I've always liked Zymox products, but this one really impressed me! GSD/BC mix has had continual ear issues since having a hematoma drained in her right ear. The ear lays over and is full of thicker tissue which seems to hold in a ton of moisture. This last bout of pain and scratching was making her (and me!) absolutely crazy and, after a week of use, the regular Zymox I always have on hand just wasn't cutting it. I did a bit of searching and found the Zymox plus advanced formula and figured I'd give that a try before resorting to a vet visit, antibiotics, steroid drops, etc. After the second day of use, she stopped shaking her head, scratching and whining. My avid little mouser cat caught herself a little prize just a few days before a month-prior planned trip my husband and i were unavoidably about to go to. Apparently that mouse had bitten her back in the process, right on her tender little lip cleft! Before we knew it, that bite had gotten infected so bad she became lethargic, her face swollen an angry shade of red, she could not eat or even drink on her own and she could not even close her mouth and was drooling on herself. Because of the covid situation and proximity of timing to our trip to see family, there was no way to get her to a vet in time before we had to leave in 3-4 days. So we did the best we could with a dropper to feed and water her and rushed out to get Vetericyn to help stave off the infection which reduced the angry redness to a healthier pinkish. For the very few days we had before we had to go, I was keeping her hydrated and was spraying her face with the Vetericyn regularly (as directed) even as we headed out the door with one last treatment. We did cut our weekend trip short by a day out of concern for her, but when we came back she was doing significantly better in that the swelling was down, but was reddened again. Back to the spray treatment, make sure she got dropper-watered, and by that evening she was gingerly back to parking in her 'askance' spot hoping for bits of our chicken dinner! I fully believe that had we not gotten Vetericyn and treated her with it in the few days prior to leaving that we wouldn't still have her today. Using this for hot spots on my canine, this stuff does work but it sometimes can take up to 2 8oz. Bottles to heal the area's treated. Not sure if it's the strength of medicine or just those stubborn spots. I caught the spots early on and started treating them immediately and have been treating them for a month now and they are getting better but slowly, these things are stubborn. I can say that absolutely nothing else I tried worked. Believe it or not, I read online the other day that rubbing Pepto Bismol on hot spots actually works, you heard right, Pepto Bismol. I haven't had the nerve to try it as I thought it could just be some nut trying to infect your pet even worse.
