So I have a beabull, mostly English bulldog. He’s a 7/8 mix. Out of nowhere his cute little black nose started getting crusty and cracked. I waited a while and it didn’t let up. A friend said there was nothing you could do but I found this online. I didn’t think it would work but we are on day four and his nose is DRASTICALLY improved. He hates when I put it on (he does that with everything ever though) so I have to put some peanut butter on a spoon and have him lick it after I apply it to his nose or he’ll just lick it right off his nose. I bought this for my dog’s (14 year old Shar Pei) keratin buildup on his nose and paws. It dissolved the stuff great and I was able to wipe off the stuff on his paws after one application. That was really impressive. My dog has fairly mild Hyperkeratosis but his nose gets a fairly thick layer of buildup, and this product allows you to remove it fairly easily after a few applications over a couple days and a cooperative pooch. I was really impressed with how well it worked. I use it now preventatively which prevents bad buildup on his nose and paws, so all in all I’m certainly a big fan. I recommend at least the 2oz can if you think you’ll use it on the paws. The 2 oz can generally lasts me a couple months even with multiple applications per day. i don't know what's so special about this stick of snout soother, but IT IS AMAZING! i didn't take a picture of my dog's before nose, but it was nasty – crusty, brown, flakey. Day 1, i put on the snout soother and thought to myself, "oh shoot, i'll just take a before picture tomorrow." Day 2 – same thing – thought to myself, "well i'll get to it tomorrow." Day 3, i put on the snout soother and my dog's nose was 3/4 healed! what the heck! so much for my before/after pic! Today is Day 4 and his nose is 98% back to normal. At 1st I was disappointed in the size but I was happily surprised that a little goes a long way! My 7 yr old son has dry skin but loves lotions that smell good. I’ve tried just about every lotion there is but they usually have a short lasting scent or perfumes scent that leave his skin looking dry and I constantly need to reapply throughout the day. Burt bees has the great scent not perfumes and keeps his skin looking moisturized all day. I am very pleased I tried it, now it’s our favorite.MomMimix2
I was eager to try this product because I wanted a lotion with no phthalates, paragons or silicone/dimethicone. I purchased it at Kohl's on 12/31/21 and used it the same evening – thankfully only on my hands and not my entire body. Kohl's did not have any kind of tester available, so before I purchased it, I opened the top to see if the scent was overpowering or if I just didn't like it. It seemed fine. When I got it home and put it on my hands before bed, it had on overpowering and lingering off-putting smell like something had gone "bad". It was nauseating. I will never ever buy this again. Seriously, it already looks like I need a new bottle. This isn't a fault of the store I purchased it from, I can tell it's unused, this is a manufacturing issue. I placed the bottle on a food scale and it even says it's at 9 ounces. I would attach a video but apparently I have to post it on youtube first 🤷♀️. So i will post a picture, I have the online recipt for proof i picked it up today. I've been using Burts Bees since this was a small company, that only made chapstick, if we pay for a product, don't cheap us out of the product.NixMarie88

I was very surprised with how well it worked. My cats nose cleared up quite nicely. I think the taste wasn't so good for her though. Maybe you can figure a way to give it a flavor cat's like. Also, you should make it so we can administer it easier. I had to use a syringe to be able to manage giving it to her. I turned to this product for my cat after everything else failed. She has a chronic sinus infection that did not respond to multiple rounds of two different antibiotics. She stopped eating and was losing weight. I put drops of this on her food twice a day and she seems to tolerate it. I cannot dose her directly into her mouth, being a cat once was enough and she wriggles free when I try to dose her. She is not cured but is much better and her quality of life is much improved.
