I own a Jeep Grand Cherokee with a built-in trailer hitch. I adopted a one rear Labrador at 67 lbs. and she is too heavy for me to lift in and out of the car. I looked at ramps but didn't care for them and then I discovered this set of steps. A small handful of treats and 5 minutes and she goes in and out of the car like a champ. I thought this was silly. I was wrong. This step is amazing! It’s easy to assemble and hitched to our jeep perfectly. We have an 85lb bulldogge who cannot be lifted yet he loves going on car rides. We used to back up to the porch so he could hop in the back because the front seats didn’t move enough for him to shimmy in. He was hesitant at first, but easily got the hang of it. I had this dog hitch step installed within 10 minutes of receipt. It's that easy. Of course, being something that needs to withstand a large dog, it's heavy so make sure you get help if you need it. I love how it folds into a more compact version when not in use. If you're installing this into an SUV, you might run into tailgate opening clearance issues so do your homework or take a chance and see if it fits. This was a life saver. My pug is 15 and needs help getting up and down from couch. It has 3 positions so it is not steep for an older dog to use. It is ready to use right out of the box. Looks like a nice piece of furniture. It is not to long and can be used in the smallest spaces. The carpet like material on the ramp, also has slip resistant material on it (like what is on the bottom of socks). The dogs love it and it does not bother their feet. When going down the ramp, they can go as slow as needed and not slide down. I highly recommend this product. It will not work with really high beds or trucks unless you add to it. But it is perfect for anything else including cars (if needed) It is very light and easy to move around. It is very sturdy and does not move when dogs are using it. Even my younger dog loves it and she is scared of everything. The first day we got it we used treats to get them to use it. I only took a few minutes and they loved it. We had foam stairs before this but my older dog was still having issues using it. Because of the material of the stairs, when going down, it would force her to go fast and slide. This does not do that and allows them to go as slow as possible (I know I repeated this but it truly makes a difference for an older or injured dog/cat.)Nic

Poor “Duncan” was adopted from a rescue almost two years ago, then relinquished when the adopters got a job offer in a different state, and they decided they didn’t want to include him in their new life. The rescue, which specializes in Duncan’s much-maligned breed, contacted me to see if I could give this sweet old Doggo a home for his twilight days. At his age and considering his breed, if I didn’t adopt him he was doomed to be a “sanctuary” doggo, spending his remaining life in a cage, all alone. I decided I had to give him a chance. When I brought him home it was clear he’d been neglected: he didn’t know how to play with toys, he avoided me and even tentatively nipped my hand in fear. I gave him time to decompress, and within a week he was like a pupper again, showing spirit and affection. He even started asking for belly rubs! Because this is a very social breed, I wanted to give Duncan access to the daybed so he can easily climb up to snuggle and snooze with me. I considered building a ramp, but wanted only the best for this Doggo. After researching online, I decided DoggoRamps was definitely the way to go! I have a paraplegic cat who climbs (and jumps out of) everything in the house, I already intended to find some kind of ramp to try and preserve my sheets from those sharp claws, but then once we changed our boxed bed to a wood one, he became unable to climb on the bed by his own, which was SO TRAGIC. I have a 2yo Maltipoo who’s 14lbs & I have a very bad back & needed a ramp for him to be able to get on & off the bed. I was so impressed with the education that was emailed to me after purchasing the ramps, on how to teach my Maltipoo how to use the ramp. I followed their instructions and was able to move the ramp to the bedroom after working with my Maltipoo for 2 weeks. He now is able to come & go using the ramp. The ramp is set on the highest notch, & seems steep but introducing it to him as instructed by DoggoRamps, we were successful!! I have used many products before trying Urine Off to remove pet stains and odor. None of them ever worked as well as Urine Off. They would literally make the pet urine odor smell worse than it did before trying to remoe the stain and odor. OMG, am I glad that I discovered Urine Off. I purchased this product from Petsmart for $14.99 (it’s also available on Amazon). I have an older dog that thinks it’s ok to just pee on any of my throw rugs. Even though i have scented pads laying around to attract her to hem. I have sprayed near about the entire bottle on my rugs this week and she still uses them instead of the pads. I am a woman with a small frame but fit. My boyfriend and I bought this for our trail runs and hikes with our German Shepard mix. We often travel through rattle snake country. Our dog is close to 90 pounds! For me it’s too much weight to carry for a long period but I still carry the Airlift with me so I have a tool to solicit help from others with. My boyfriend can carry our dog confidently over rough terrain and actually had to use the airlift a few months ago when our dog got a bad cactus thorn wedged in his paw! The Airlift worked well. My dog injured his paws while hiking a 14,000 ft peak. I’m so glad I bought an Airlift rescue sling. I was able to carry him safely back to the car. It was a lot of work but without the sling, there’s no way I would have been able to carry him. I would suggest buying the shoulder padding if you have a large dog. Extremely disappointed in the omission of pertinent information on this product. As an avid solo backpacker regularly playing in the Rockies with large dogs, it was due time to invest in a product that would help in an unfortunate emergency. I am grateful we tried this out beforehand to know it’s useless for my body. As a once female collegiate basketball player and consistent weightlifter, there is no way-even with adrenaline-I would be able to lift my dog from a kneeling position to then being on one knee to standing. I ordered a medium which was well within the weight limits of our puppers (60 lbs). Even with my spouse’s help, the lift wasn’t possible. Only males are featured on the available product images; however, I don’t know a female or male in our network that could make this lift for a larger dog. Additionally, the straps dig in to your shoulders (skin scraping) but it seems inconsiderate to charge an additional $25 for ONE shoulder pad rather than include the padding to help an owner in a distressing situation.
