I've tried the Veterinary Formula Clinical Care Antiseptic and Anti fungal Spray for Dogs and Cats on a few of our outside cats. They've been deflead but one still kept scratching and losing fur just above her tail. I'm not sure if it's an allergic reaction to the fleas or if it's the result of a thyroid problem. But we tried this spray and the itching stopped immediately. It's been almost 3 weeks and she still isn't scratching it. I also wanted to try this on some ringworm that a few of the outside cats have. I've been spraying this on for almost 3 weeks now but haven't really seen any improvement with the ringworm spots that I'm treating. Ringworm can respond slow to treatments anyway so I'm not sure if this is going to help with that or not. The spray is a pump and it has a light citrus smell, kind of like oranges. It will not harm your pet if they lick it. It didn't list a minimum age that you can use it on. It contains Chlorhexidine Gluconate, Keratin, and Aloe Vera. It's listed as an antifungal, antimicrobial, and antibacterial. To use this you just spray the area tell really wet, twice daily for a week, then once daily for another week. You can continue every other day for another 2 weeks.Cricketoes
I read the reviews for this product but was still a bit skeptical for it to actually work. One of my cats (2 yr old orange tabby) literally scratched the size of a 50 cent bare spot (literally overnight) in center of his back below shoulder blade. By the end of the day the circle was warm red inflamed and gross. Being on a tight budget I did my research for home remedies. First I began applying a year old vet prescribed Dermalone antibiotic that was prescribed for one of my other cats for 3 days but area got worse. Then began applying Neosporin for 2 days lightly on and around scab now and ( luckily the spot was where he could not reach to lick off) and it did nothing as well. A week later purchased this product, followed the directions and a week later the area was completed healed. Scab dried and fell off and new skin looks perfect and normal. Unfortunately I dont know what this was for did not take him to a vet. Infected area did resemble pictures of ringworm online. Im not a vet but am thinking whatever it was it was some type of fungal infection. Benefits of product; it wasnt expensive, was easy to apply, and has a light pleasant scent.Debbie
I am so thankful to have found this today! My poor dog could not stop scratching and licking under his front legs, and they were raw and bleeding. He was whimpering but would not stop. I came home and sprayed the areas with this, and he didn’t freak out like I thought so I know it didn’t hurt! He became calm and only tried to lick a few times before he relaxed and rested. I couldn’t stand watching him so agitated and am very thankful for this product! I also bought the shampoo and will be giving him a bath with it later.MomofOllie

My dog had an allergic reaction to the antibiotics he was on after having a few teeth pulled. The itch was driving him crazy. This ointment seemed to take the itch away right after I put it on and he was able to relax. The only hard part was remembering to put it on every few hours. But I’m very pleased with how much this helped, and at a good price.MStephens
Sorry not a review but a question. Sounds like this works well but I have a horrible time keeping my Shepard from licking his wounds. Even when I cover them he trys to get the bandage off to get at them. It says this provides some pain relief, so I'm hoping that will discourage the licking. Does anyone know if this product is safe if the dog licks it? Has anyone's pet gotten sick?

I really wanted some homeopathic remedies for our dogs, because we tend to stick to simple things. Samwise had kennel cough and we have 3 other dogs! So we had to find relief quickly, after going to vet and getting needed antibiotics and lots of toys and cuddles we also purchased homeopet cough. I have been using this product for about 3 weeks now and although my horse's cough is somewhat improved, it is still hanging on. I have used this product in years past but the formula has been changed or something. This particular bottle, which cost more than last time too, is not nearly as good a product as the other I used. No pasture/barn conditions have changed and I still own the same horse as I used it on before. I was pleased in the past with the product but not so much now with this "new" formula.maw maw b
This works for my daughters gelding. The vet recommended some feed thru antihistamine, it stinks, the horse won't eat it even when mixed with various kinds of treats. It isn't fair to push something on them. He likes this, tastes good, smells great, best of all no fight to give it to him. Just squirt it in his feed. He is a mini, so only half the tube is used. Bought the larger size now just squirt 12 cc on feed twice a day. Not heaves but it is allergy related. I recommend this product!
It's a bit how hard to tell how much this product is helping my horse. The weather is against us right now, hot, dry and dusty. I notice when I administer the product that my horse feels the effect of the menthol. It may be helping him to expel some phlegm, but it isn't enough to turn him back into the athlete he once was. In fairness, I'm not sure any product in the world can do that unless we get some cool, moist weather and some rain to knock down the dust. I will say that my picky horse doesn't hate this stuff, especially if he knows he'll get a treat after he takes it. Our situation is a difficult one; a horse with less severe symptoms might well find this product a game changer.Enozar
