I don’t love this cover. There is nothing to hold it onto the crate so it slips about. I am going to sew some ties onto the bottom to help keep it in place. I do like the option to open different parts of the cover for different doors on the crate. The pattern is nice and also.Little cat dog

The cover was just as I expected. Light weight, durable and easy to care for. The oy recommendation I can .American is to add velcro/hook&loop fasteners to keep the top of the cover in place. This would prevent the occupant from chewing and keep the cover in place. The for is drab but it gives the crate a dark den appearance so the occupationt is calm and content. I have found over the years that animals naturally respond favorably to a darkened environment. They are more relaxed and calm. Babies in a crate with natural, artificial, even greatly reduced lighting remain alert, peering into the darkness. They often whine, whimper, or bark, but cover the crate and within minutes, they unwind and are off to sleep. For this reason, I have put dark cloth or a blanket over my crates. These covers make it so much easier, and they don't shift or hang on the floor. They look tidier and I can vacuum around the crate without catching the cover.Zuwadi

I love this because it takes the dog bed off the floor and it allows me to clean under it. It also keeps the area clean from having dog hair stuck to bottom of bed. It was easy to put together.Patrice

I am THRILLED with my end table/ crate! First, it came within 3 or 4 days of ordering! We ordered it for our boy Rambo because he likes to be to himself once in awhile, especially if he doesn't feel well or is scared. (He's a 15 lb. Pomeranian mix.) Well, we were delighted to find that this was so big and that it was made VERY sturdy with quality wood. It took us about half hour to put together and our boy has taken a liking to it. We didn't put the door on-just left it open. Our boy is a rescue and panics if enclosed in a cage. So with the sides and the back having the spindles and the door not on it, he really enjoys going in it. (He now takes his bones in there to chew on.) So we are very pleased with it overall. Very grateful to Hayneedle for having such quality products with such great prices and deals. You are the Best!! I would recommend to anyone who wants a "little place" for their furry baby. These solid wood pet crates are gorgeous and well built! High quality! Deep espresso with a sheen! My 20 year old daughter assembled both in an hour! Great price! My one Yorkie won't come out of this crate -he loves it! Ordered the small and my medium sized Yorkies have plenty of room even with cushions and blankets! Just be ready to make tiny predrilled holes bigger with drill bit little bigger than size of screws or you'll need the Hulk to get screws in! Just be careful not to drill through to other side! I purchased this Newport Pet Crate End Table 2/19/2018. It arrived allot sooner than expected. Easy to put together and it looked just like the web pages pictures. However, the locking latch could've been more sturdy. The wooden bars across the windows were also not as solid as I would've preferred. The first time using it was the evening I received it. When I returned home after 4 hrs.he was at the door when I opened it. I bought this product as a means to contain my pet while I'm away. I use to let him run the house until I returned but in the last 4 weeks there have been too many events taken place while I'm gone. This bed is okay. It is a little bit noisy and wobbly. I run dog boarding business and it hasn't held up that well with the number of dogs. I'd imagine it would be fine for someone with one dog. I like that its nice and light and I can put outside and back in easily as needed.Andrea

My dog loves his new platform bed. He uses a similar one at the dog hotel when we are out of town. He immediately laid on it, snd slept on it all night. He weighs 118 pounds, and he has no problems getting on it. It’s also easy to move it from one room to another. I highly recommend it.Bev55

Love these, the dogs, love them!!!! They have there bed that came with it and it has the double cover so it stays dry if there are accidents, but I added there pet beds on top they push them on or off if they want them there they love these. I love the fact I can put a lamp on it and hide the remotes and other things so it looks less cluttered.Jenny

Over the last 2 years, I have completely purchased all new furniture from the Slumberland in Maple Grove Minnesota. The salesman knew that I had 3 upcoming surgeries and I also had fractured bones in my right hand. When my delivery came, the driver told me that he wasn't allowed to carry these 2 boxes into my home. Each box was 33 pounds. I had to lift them into my home and up 7 steps to the upper level of my home. I was very lucky that my grandson came and put them together for me. The next day I went back to this same Slumberland with my daughter. The salesperson, Nancy, came over and asked me how I liked the pet beds. When I told her how the boxes were left outside and no one would carry them upstairs, she replied, that's what you get with free delivery. I am still upset with her comment. NO one gave me an option to pay to have boxes brought into my home and put the beds together for me.NANCY

Product was very easy to assemble. Looks clean and contemporary. The front two doors don't close quite right with the latch though. Our dog doesn't attempt to get out, but if your dog does, this would not be a good product for you. We have received so many compliments on its appearance though!Carrie

I am so completely happy I got this beautiful crate! It was sent and delivered the same week I ordered it which is amazing in itself. I found the directions for assembly very easy to follow, aided by the fact that the pieces were all marked clearly. I put it together alone and it took me just under two hours. The end result is a heavy duty, sturdy, beautiful crate which looks like a piece of furniture.golfnut

I bought this crate because I was honestly too lazy to build another for my dogs. The look is clean and I like that it is tall enough for my dogs to not have to hunch over if sitting and looking out. It was also easy to assemble if you have basic build knowledge/ screw driver experience but there are a couple poor design qualities: 1) The designers supplied two latches to be installed INSIDE the crate living space for one door to be able to latch closed to the frame. Yes, this is essential but my dogs like to dig and fluff and get comfy and my pit has very easily scratched skin. There is no doubt my dogs would eventually get scratched on the cheap metal latches supplied. That paired with the fact that I don’t have time to reach into the crate while my dog is attempting to exit out of one side of the door. They’re too big and will need both doors open to exit. I will be altering this design to latch on the outside. 2) The actual door latch. Being placed in the middle of two hinged doors makes a weak attachment and the latch to secure your dog in the crate should attach to the crate frame to be secure. This ties into the above issue but again, I will be altering to make it more secure. If you have little dogs that can’t put much weight against the door, you’re fine. But with medium sized dogs, I’d rather not risk getting the particle board split on accident if my dog leans her fat butt against the door. 3) Its particle board. So price is a little high just for that. 4) the door handles are fragile. Will be replacing. A few easy alterations to secure the doors and I’ll be perfectly happy with this crate. The large is good more medium sized dogs. I have a 25lbs border collie mix that it is perfect for and my fat 50lbs pit will be able to use it as well since she likes to curl up. Also, for those asking about where the pee goes… this is a dog crate for house trained dogs and is not meant for a dog to live and potty in. The removable tray is there and easily slides in and out in case of an accident but hopefully you’re able to let your dog out to go potty before an accident happens.88JenS

I am very pleased with this Dog Crate – it is a very attractive addition to my cottage decor. My dog, a 70# labradoodle is very comfortable in it, however, I had to replace the bed cushion because the bolstered sides of the cushion eliminated about 6 inches of room for him to stretch out in. I just replaced it with a flat dog bed I had that fits the crate perfectly, and now he uses the bed cushion elsewhere in the house. The only reason I am not giving this a 5th star is that the locking mechanism on the doors is pretty flimsy. And one of the slide locks at the bottom of the door is not properly aligned so it is unusable. Fortunately, my dog is content in a crate and does not try to get out – but he could get out, easily, if he tried. I will have to put a stronger lock on the doors myself.Donna

It is beautiful. From the size, it would be for several pups or a big one. We have the the big one. 6 pounds at week 6 and almost 30 at week 12? With that said, the hasp is a little puny. A smaller negative was that it was easy to assemble but the German instructions did not make it any easier. With all that said, I would buy another if needed.CZWilder

It is a thin type of material. The sides and such are put together with plastic screws, not metal. A big minus for me was the bottom for the crate. I am using to created train a puppy, I was hoping it had a pan like the metal crates with sides to catch urine. Instead it is just a flat piece that fits inside, leaving gaps around the edges. This crate is great for a dog that enjoys being kenneled. The walls are held together with eight plastic screws and the whole thing can be lifted easily by one adult… couldn't be more than 50lbs. The look and feel really isn't that bad… though its obviously the crate is not made of wood. Visually better than the hard-sided crate we had before. He was not sure what to make of it but I invited him up on it and the rest is history. He know uses it daily. It's plenty big to stretch out on and he acts like he is the king from high on his "perch". I am looking forward to using this outside when it warms up because the elevated bed should keep my dog cooler (with the air flow under it) but meanwhile it is making a nice spot inside the house. The crate had obviously been used and returned. The metal was rusted in places and the plastic bottom tray was dirty. When I decided to return it, It was a challenge to get it back in the box. When I took it back to the store, I asked about a discount and received 15% off (the tax). I had previously bought one that was marked down by 50% because the box was damaged. I was quite disappointed in the whole experience. Apparently the merchandise was supposed to be checked if the box was damaged and that wasn’t done in this case.Janice

I've owned dogs for the last 40 years. I've used MidWest wire crates for my last 4 dogs. This iCrate didn't disappoint. It's sturdy and and easy to put up and take down. I use them when I travel with my dogs too. My dogs only use their crates for sleeping in at night or napping in during the day. During the day, their crate doors are left open. I close the dogs in at night. I don't have an issue with my dogs trying to escape from their crates, so I can't speak to whether or not this would be sturdy enough for a dog that's determined to get out of their crate. These crates are more than sturdy enough for my miniature Schnauzer, Havanese, and Wirehaired Pointing Griffon. All three of my dogs love their MidWest iCrates, as did my previous dog! They go in them voluntarily and when told to "crate up". My only concern with the current crate I ordered is that that one of the latches isn't lined up quite right so it's a bit tight when closing the crate door. I bent it slightly and it works much better. I haven't had that issue with any of the previous MidWest crates I've used. I'm a MidWest crate fan.Eddie09

We bought this in April 2022 for our Rhodesian Ridgeback mix puppy. He was weeks old when we rescued him. He was a Parvo pup and barely survived, so rest and his own quiet space was highly recommended for recovery. We first used the divider which was great. However, as he grew, so did his strength. It definitely is not strong enough for large dogs. Even for short amounts of time. At the moment he is 6 months and 60 pounds. Thankfully he did not get out nor hurt himself! I wish I could share photos of how bent up this crate is and the cracked floor liner. IWifeMomLove

I love this crate/end table. Easy to assemble and it's very sturdy. As for the durability I can't yet answer as I just received and my puppy is only 2.4 pounds right now. I do wish they came a bit smaller. I am having two issues and am awaiting a return call from the manufacturer The first issue is the door doesn't stay open for the pet to freely go in and out when allowed. Second is that the door rubs the bottom of the crate and over a period of opening and closing it will wear. Which may be the reason the door doesn't stay open. I will update as I hear from the supplier and advise.Kimberly

Assembly was easy. Crate looks very nice with our other furniture. I do not like the latch system though. Very difficult to get it to latch in the dark as everything has to be aligned perfectly for it to securely latch. Also, it is wood so if you have a chewer, you may be missing some of the slats soon. Our little dog (22#s) likes to chew on the wood slats. I resolved this issue with some Bitter Apple Spray that seems to have stopped the chewing but would recommend spraying before putting you pet in this so that it stays looking nice.Deacon Beard

I got the K&H Pet Products – K&H Elevated Cozy Cot Pet Bed and I couldn't be happier. My dog always wants to sit next to me or on me. Now he is in his little bed and I xan pet him, comfortably from my chair while watching TV. This os a perfect bed for a smaller dog or cat. My dog in the pictute is around 24 lb miniature poodle, he fits fine. I wouldn't recommend it for a much bigger dog. The bed has two textures. The gray is a strong smooth fabric very strong like canvas or denim. The light gray is soft and padded. It open up like a folding chair but, it locks into place so its very safe. And it isnt super high so a small dog can get in and out on his own. The bottom feels rubberized for water proofing. This bed works well inside and outside. I am pleased with and will be using it. I have several beds for my dog throughout my apartment at least one in every room, so he can sleep comfortably. I like this bed a lot since its easy to move and looks easy to clean. As a fur baby mommy I always want them to be as comfortable as possible. During the winter months I don’t like that they have to lay on the floor. Well that’s all over now. My fur baby’s have been using the elevated cozy cat bed for the past couple days and I tell you they live it. This pet bed sits off the floor and is made with very plush material. The frame is sturdy and folds up easily if you need to put it away for any reason. So far my cat has taken it over and out Boston terrier uses it when it’s empty! My cat loves her cozy cot by K&H. It’s elevated off the floor, easy to store, easy to clean, and has a thick quilted material that keeps my cat warm and snug during naps. The material easily comes off to wash and easy to put back on. The bed easily folds up for storage and can be used to traveling or taking anywhere and doesn’t take up a lot of room or weigh alot.
