My Sunshine has been suffering for years with itchiness and toes swollening and getting infected to the point of puss coming out. This stuff is AH-MAZE-ING! I have the wipes that we used for our cat. Previous to us owning him, he was abandoned and his collar was so tight that it caused scarring around his neck and all of his fur was gone. I used the wipes, and within a week his hair started growing back. I also used the mousse for my dog, she wound up with Calcinosis Cutis on her tummy, and we have been using the foam faithfully and it is looking better and better. This worked great on my dog's irritated ear. It was a weekend AND a holiday, and my poor little guy was so uncomfortable. I couldn't find an open vet anywhere and the ER was packed. After a little research, I decided on the Zymox and found it at my local Petco, which was not only open, but open all day even though it was a holiday. I was so grateful — after the initial shock of me dumping oily stuff in his ear, my dog was more comfortable within an hour and much better within 12 hours. Great product. An old doggo with a history of ear "dirt" that required weekly cleaning, applied these drops for a week and the results were impressive. Using a cotton ball to remove the residue (and icky stuff), and she clearly hears better. As others have commented, the product is oily, just don't over-do with the application, be sure to rub the ears well, and clean off the residue. Recommended.Owl at home

My poor dog has floppy ears and has been shaking his head for weeks. He seemed to have some sort of infection and i tried my best to help him to no avail. One of my dogs sometimes gets itchy skin, no other issues with her skin she just gets itchy. I figured it would be nice if I could find a shampoo to help her out. This one does the trick. My dogs and I love this very much. I love the whole line, but lately, my dog has been suffering from allergies, so I switched to this one. It smells amazing, which I love, but more importantly, it's definitely helping with her skin irritations from her allergies. She doesn't scratch even half as much as before. Before I switched, she would scratch so hard, her belly was covered in scratched, bite marks from chewing, and sometimes it was so bad she bled. This product works great for my dog. She’s coonhound and beagle mix. When I first brought her home she shed something awful! HAIR WAS EVERYWHERE! My baby pit bull loves this. She always seems hungry. Yet I feed her plenty and extra most days. Since adding this she seems satisfied for longer between feeding. I just drizzle most every bowl she eats with around a tablespoon. Her coat has become super shiny and smooth. Her dry patches at her elbows have gotten better as well. I started using this shampoo 12 years ago for my Akita who was highly allergic to fleas. This was the ONLY product that would calm his hot spots and give him relief. I recently tried this on my elderly hound dog who came down with some type of skin disorder after a day of hunting. I recently received a sample of the Vetericyn Foam Care Medicated Shampoo to try. I have 3 small short hair dogs that have dry skin issues in the cooler months. I was able to put the shampoo to the test after my little guys decided to roll on some dead critter out in the back 40. They all came in tails wagging and smelling like week old road kill. First off, the spray nozzle on the Vetericyn Foam Care is a great idea! This made bath time so much easier. You can spray the foam shampoo exactly where you need it. No more filling your hand or slopping shampoo on the pup's back. There is no heavy medicated smell from the shampoo. It almost instantly killed the horrendous odor the dogs had. After they all got dried, there was no odor or any sort of medicated smell. They all smelled like puppies again. I like the fact the Vetericyn Foam Care leaves a neutral smell. I also have not noticed the normal itching from the cold weather. I give tha Vetericyn Foam Care Medicated Shampoo an A+. I will definitely continue to use this product on my pups. I like this product. I really like the design of the bottle and how it is a spray/foaming formula. That really does make the shamooing process easier, although, once I had sprayed it a few times, I don't think my dog was a fan of the spray noise. I have to give my dog a bath daily with Chlorohexidine shampoo due to his severe allergies. It's the only thing that really helps topically. I did use this in addition to the Chlorohexidine, and I feel like it helped some with drying out his rashes. Unfortunately, there's only so much I can do to help my dog with allergies. I haven't found a cure or anything that gets rid of the redness, flaking, and itching he has. Because of the spraying option, this is easier to use for getting on his belly/under his legs. I think it's an effective product, just not sure how effective since my dog has a chronic allergy issue. It has a nice smell as well! Clean but not fruity or overwhelming. This shampoo is not only so easy to use, it's been such a good product to use overall! The foaming spray makes lathering so much easier since I don't have to spread a gel shampoo so much just to make sure it doesn't sit mostly in one spot. The shampoo didn't seem to overdry my dog's coat or skin, but it was really good at removing all the dirt either way. Because it's a foaming shampoo, it also washes away so much more easily which saves me time and effort with washing her. She smelled so clean and her fur looked so healthly after the first use! I was even more surprised that her clean scent basically lasted all week despite her repeated rolling around in the grass and on carpets. I couldn't stop petting her and sniffing her fur! My rescue dog had mange and I tried different shampoos and treatments. She had to be on antibiotics initially, which made her sick and vomit, and Ivermectin for many months. But I started using this, shampooing her every other day and leaving it on as directed for 15 minutes before rinsing (while taking Ivermectin). It was great, made her smell good, relieved the itching, and made her skin less flaky. The vet said that it was the reason she didn't continue to get secondary skin infection and need more antibiotics, so I think DermaBenSS is the best. My Doberman had such a problem with skin irritation, itching and flaking when we got her from a Doberman Rescue shelter that I was very much concerned that she might have to be put to sleep. She had extreme itching, flaking and bloody spots that almost looked like mange. The odor of her skin was absolutely terrible. I tried everything that I could even think of. I took her to a Veterinary Specialist and had many tests run on her at great expense. I paid out close to $3000 dollars trying to treat her. They finally sold me a bottle of shampoo that kind-of worked. The cost was about $30 a bottle. I began searching for that shampoo on-line to try and get a better price than $30. I came across this site and they did not have the one we got from the Vet Specialist, but had this one and it had some similar ingredients. It was called DermaBenSs. The price was about 1/3 the cost of the brand I got from the Vet. I was very skeptical on the effectiveness, you never know if someone has truly written the reviews from experience or if they are someone trying to plug the product. The DermaBenSs worked WaaaaY better than the shampoo I got from the Vet Specialist. My Doberman's hair was so thin that it looked like she was going bald. She was so bad that my Vet gave her a steroid injection that gave her severe incontinence. Even tho it gave her relief from itching, I would not do that again. The incontinence is something you don't want to have a problem with. Back on subject, her itching and flaking is well under control now. Her hair has grown back and looks really nice except for a couple of areas where the Vet Specialist took skin plugs from her worst spots to analyze and test them. Most people think that she is a Show-Dog. This is not a miracle cure and might not work for your dog, but I am extremely happy. It would have ripped my heart out to have her put to sleep. She does still nibble a bit but is 500% better than before with a beautiful coat. I am getting ready to order another 6 bottles of the product. Like I said, this may not work for your dog, but it stands tall in my book. I took an empty bottle to my regular Vet and they plan to order it in for other dogs with skin disorders. I will continue to use it until I find something better, but I doubt it will come. Another thing I will mention. The directions say to give the dog a bath twice a week. I am now down to giving her a bath once every week and sometimes every two weeks. It would be better if she still got the bath weekly. She is my "Buddy" and sticks to me like glue. She now sleeps snuggled right next to me every night. I put her in the shower with me, lather her up real good with the DermaBenSs and let it soak while I shower and wash my hair. My dog suffers from hot spots on his feet and it makes him just miserable as one heals and another pops up in a different spot. My vet recommended I try a shampoo formulated specifically for hot spots and I found this at a major online retailer. A sixteen ounce bottle ran me about $7 as an add on item which I thought was quite economical since my dog is so small and that one bottle should last me through many, many washes. The formula uses Tea Tree Oil, Aloe Vera, Chamomile to calm dry, itchy skin and despite being a bit strong smelling during the bathing process the smell does not linger after drying. After the first bath with this I noticed a definite improvement in my dog's spots and he seemed more relaxed and less prone to lick the sore areas. After a month of weekly baths his spots were gone and they have not reappeared since. He also had a bit of a dandruff problem during the summer as he likes to sit outside and sunbathe which dries out his skin. LOVE Vet's Best Hot Spot shampoo. My dog developed seasonal allergies a few years ago and was sneezing and itching SO badly she was ripping her fur out in multiple places. She especially had bad hot spots on her front paws, where she was chewing and biting nonstop trying to ease the itchiness. There were a few times that it was so bad we ended up getting her an allergy shot from the vet, but I did not like the side effects of that shot. So one year I got the Vet's Best Shampoo after doing some research online and found this to be a life saver. It smells good and really seemed to ease and soothe her hot, itchy, irritated skin. Her skin was getting raw in some spots where she couldn't stop itching and this seems very gentle on her skin and calmed the irritation down. My kitten had ring worm when I first adopted him. The vet recommended me to use it along with the Douxo Mousse. It was recommended that I give him a shower every day or even every other day until the ring worm is completely gone, but I used it on him only twice a week for the first week and then only once a week. I want to add before I start my review that I no longer use Burt’s Bees products because I wanted something stronger for my dogs. I also originally bought this product with the intention of using it for one of my dog’s dry skin. With that being said I have a miniature poodle with severe allergies that caused him to scratch at himself until he was bleeding and scratched off the skin in multiple location on his body. He is now medicated and is a lot better with the correct products. This product did help with his allergies minimally but did help his over all coat a lot. This conditioner is perfect. Barely scented. Doesn't affect my allergies. Tried first spraying brushes and all the static fur stayed on the brush. Shampoo that has helped me the most for Folliculitis. I've used every medicated shampoo that has been recommended this one has the best results. I've read other reviews that complain about the scent. It does have a medicinal smell but it is a clean smell. The relief from itching, burning and pimples on the scalp is worth the smell. It is very, very pricy for 8 ounces. I have had scalp folliculitis for the last 15 years. I’ve been using topical antibiotic every 2 weeks when a flare occurs. When it improves, I stop the antibiotic but the folliculitis always comes back around 2-3 weeks later. Saw a dermatologist who didn’t have anything else to offer other than keep my hands clean. Started using this product every other day for the past few months and it has cleared my folliculitis. I get the odd sore here and there but I’ve had 95-99% improvement, without having to use the topical antibiotic for the last couple months. In the past, I have given my dog oral medication to prevent flea and ticks. It worked well but I was never comfortable with the fact that he had to ingest the medicine. I decided we’d use a topical solution for this summer and this is working great so far. The application was easy and the the applicator worked well. Finally something that works consistently. After trying probably 10-15 brands of flea and tick stuff for my Dogs this is the company I come back to. Ive tried expensive stuff, Ive tried dirt cheap stuff. This works and works FAST. I actually have to put my dogs out if they have fleas on them at all. Within 30 minutes they are jumping off to get away and die. Weve had issues with super fleas here in northeast USA where the only thing Ive found to work is old fashion dawn dish soap and salt.Ive literally spread salt on all my floors so it looks like snow and left it sit over night then vacuum it up and then mop with dawn dish soap, everyday for over a week straight. This stuff not only took care of the fleas on the dogs and cats but the ones in the house would jump on the dogs would die to. Havent had an issue since.Corvet08

I use it in combo with shampoo. Till now only 2 times used. Can’t confirm about hair loss but it affected my scalp in great way. My long hair stay clear up to 6days although my city had high humidity level ( salty one) and pollution ( due a lot of constructions on island )iHerb Customer

Last gasp attempt at keeping. A full barnet of hair leads me to delve deeper into hair potions and serums.. Very little smell, gives quite a tingle once used. I feel like it’s helping out but not sure it’s making anything regrow..iHerb Customer

my bad as I didn't read instruction properly before I bought it. to wet hair, apply the treatment and wash hair seems too complicated to me. I'd prefer "apply and go". use on my dry hair night before I wash my hair in the morning. obviously I won't buy it againiHerb Customer
