We absolutely ADORE this product for our dog! She is a mixed breed whose dominant behaviours reflect her Australian Cattle Dog DNA, and when she gets fixated on something (our cat, our food, us) this Pet Correcter is the only thing we've found that can bring her out of the fixation. We tried the coins in a can, the clicker, a whistle, other devices, and this is the one to which she responds every time. So I bought this today , mostly out of because my nerves are gone from a dog I have that barks at EVERYTHING. I have other dogs and if they even move to change their laying position or I get up to go into other room, she barks non stop. So when I went into the store today and talked to the team member about what I was wanting and her behaviors she suggested this product. I came home and when she started barking and I told her to stop and when she didn't I sprayed it.,it was an IMMEDIATE quiet. then she did it again and I said no, she continued to bark so I sprayed it again. and WOW she stopped. I have a dog who had a very bad and dangerous habit of chasing cars. I tried everything to fix this including: high frequency sounds, treats and positive reinforcement, training, vibrations, physically restraining and even an e collar. Nothing worked, at least not consistently. I bought a can of this and my dog has stopped chasing cars after the FIRST spray! I dont even have to use it, just the sight of the can and he goes on his best behavior. It also has remedied excessive barking. I was apprehensive at first, but the wheelchair has turned out to be a life saver for my 15 year old pal who recently lost the use of his rear legs. This product has done wonders for my dog who had a herniated disc requiring surgery on Jan 2022. Working with our rehabilitation veterinarian, who sized the device and worked with the company to expedite our delivery, my dog has continued to make progress toward a better gait. Lt. Dan came to me in August 2016 as a foster dog. He was rescued from the San Bernardino Shelter by the Barking Lot Rescue, minutes before being euthanized due to his spinal injury. Our guess is that he was injured from being hit by a car. Had to use small screwdriver to twist at top where you push cover down to open. Once the batteries were in the toy it came alive and performed as advertised. Opened 2 Peppy Puppies with the intention of installing batteries. Could not open battery compartments per instructions on compartments. Great surgical suit. Good quality material and workmanship plus it looks fabulous! have a young Golden Retriever who would retrieve balls and frisbees all day long if my arm could take it. Bought the 26M Chuck-It and love it! I can throw the ball a lot farther and for more throws, so he gets more exercise. Love that I no longer need to bend over to pick up the ball or have to touch a slimy, sandy, filthy ball! Don’t waste your money on cheaper knockoffs especially if you value your arm muscles! The real thing costs much more but there is no comparison. This one really works well. Very happy with it. I received this wheelchair for my dog, surprisingly only a couple of days after I ordered it and on a Sunday no less. I found all the pieces , none were missing and the product indeed looked new, not refurbished. It took me two hours to put this together, adjusting and readjusting and figuring out where to put the shafts of the cart into the harness. Very frustrating. I've put harness' thousands of times on harness racing horses and have never seen a harness like this. I finally figured it out with the help of a man who bought one and had had the same problem. By the.third walk she is thrilled with it, tail wagging and a happy look to her face. She actually wanted to go on a longer walk than the ten minutes, twice a day, indoctrination period, but I decided against it, not wanting to over due. My next step is getting her to put her legs in the hanging straps. She doesn't want to do that at all and stretches the slings down to the ground so she can try and walk with her hind legs. If any of you have any tips, I'd be happy to listen. Bottom line, good quality, lightweight and worth the money.mhami46

We have a 15-year-old husky, and having had a prolapsed disc in his neck 2-years ago, he was left with some hind leg weakness. As he's aged, he struggles to walk very far, so the time came when we thought a cart would help him go further, as mentally he is still really active and wants to do things. I checked reviews on a number of carts, and for the price, this looked and came up best. I saw a seller refurbished one (large), bought it, and it was delivered within 2-days. The cart is very well made – super-impressed for the price. Fairly easy to put together, and it has a comprehensive manual with it. I estimated most of the initial length/height for out lad, put him i it, made a couple of adjustments, and we took him for a trial run yesterday. Initially, we though the sports harness looked a bit evil, but it actually supports them very well and our lad showed no signs of discomfort. He can also be a bit panicky, but once he was in and attached, he just walked off! After the initial trial, I noted it needed to be slightly higher on his back end, so raised it an inch, which is also easy to do. The wheels/tyres are brill! Proper tyres, and not cheap plastic ones, which has to help in different terrain/uneven surface. A few people mentioned it tipping, but I cannot envisage thishappening with our boy, as he's not that fast, and it was bought more to allow him to walk further, as running/fast pace has sadly long gone for him. I could see it happening with a more active dog, however, so that's something to be aware of until they get used to it and how it works with their style of exercise. The first thing I had 2 do was fit and sew all adjustable straps on the front harness to prevent them from slipping. They just kept on coming undone. I also had 2 add additional clip, buckel on harness 4 easier application on the animal. Once I did this the one paw in and one paw out fight stopped. I found that all rubber caps come flying off of unit constantly and u r left with search and desire. With the Rubber caps missing on side arm bars and the front harness adjusted completely down onto the side bars u have trouble maintaining the side arm bars in the harness. Connectors attaching the rear straps to the rear harness bar pulls hair out of the animals tail. With rear leg straps on the animal defecates on themselves. Had 2 put socks on animal and let him drag feet. New problem rear harness has starting to rub animal. Use extream caution product is light weight and will turn over easily. My animal only needed some assistance but once he turned this unit over he lost all mobility in his back legs and I just turned my head 4 a sec. The product is highly priced being that its made of aluminum and all parts bend easily. Now that I have gotten some of the adjustments worked out on this product it is easier on me and my animal. My Carmine loves his Bumi. This makes number two for him. He had a horseshoe which was his favorite thing and these Bumi are a great replacement. We loves to bring it to me for a fling across the yard or a good game of tug tug. Some times he just wobbles it around by the center point like he’s really doing something. Well made. The opportunity presented itself for me to try out the Bumi dog toy, produced by West Paw. This particular toy is one of West Paw's newest dog toys. Bumi, makes an exceptional toy for tug of war. It is made of Zogoflex. Zogoflex is a strong, malleable material that is suppose to withstand unfavorable conditions. Those conditions being my dog's sharp teeth, his powerful grip, and his action in thrashing it all over the yard as he is playing. Well, I went outside and introduced him to the Bumi. He wasn't excited like I thought he would be. At first, that was disappointing. He would not play tug of war with me. Instead, he liked running and fetching the Bumi back to me. The Bumi is a light weight, "S" shaped, bouncy toy that is easy to throw for fetching. It also travels a bit further than most toys due to these traits. It is non-toxic, BPA and Phthalates free ( Phthalates is a chemical used to soften PVC plastics). These substances can cause damage to the kidneys, liver, lungs, and testes according to animal research. Not all dog toys are safe and I do not want to risk my dog's health for anything. The Bumi is made to be long lasting and safe for dogs to chew on. I like that he will fetch the toy because it requires him to get up and move. Exercise will be good for him and he is learning a few commands. I gave him a reward and that really motivated him to continue fetching. It looks like my dog will enjoy chewing on this toy for the most part. So far, it has held up well.When he puts his mouth on it, he grips it in the middle section, where it has a ball like shape. I suppose it's because this is the first time he has had a toy like this. Usually, he retrieves balls and other round toys so this toy is fun and easier for him to grip. This toy is made in the USA and it was made to last a long time. The chewing action is good for his gums and teeth. The Bumi floats in water and can be easily washed or placed in the dishwasher. Lastly, I was impressed with the fact that if the Bumi comes apart it can be returned to West Paw company for a new one. The West Paw Company made this toy so it can be recycled if returned. It's a great toy for my dog and with it being recyclable, it is good for us and our environment. I don't think a dog owner could go wrong in purchasing this new innovative toy by West Paw.DD

Over the past 17 years, we've had 3 dogs and have bought hundreds of toys over those years. None of our dogs were very rough with their toys, so we've had 3 baskets full of gently used dog toys. All 3 dogs have since passed away, the last one in June of 2020. So, in September of 2020 we got a mini Goldendoodle puppy. Since we still had the 3 baskets full of toys that were in good condition from our other dogs, our new puppy, "Bowie" has had tons of toys to play with. The big difference is that Bowie is NOT gentle with his toys!! He is a power chewer who not only tears toys apart, he will actually consume the stuffing!! I've had to take every toy away from him after a day or two due to his weird appetite! I NEVER leave him alone with a toy. But there is one toy from that bunch that he absolutely loves and is still in excellent condition. So, thankfully, I was able to find the name of the company stamped into this toy, and I immediately searched the internet for the company West Paw (praying that it was still around). I was ecstatic to find their website, and there I saw his beloved toy – the "Bumi"!!! I was also surprised to see it listed as a toy for gentle chewers! I saw that almost all the reviewers mentioned that their dogs were more like Bowie – power chewers. The other thing about the Bumi is that it makes Bowie do the Zoomies all around the house whenever he plays with it. It makes him crazy! So, the added benefit is the exercise he gets when he plays with it, and there is still not a single bite mark on it! Putting the batteries in was not very difficult but the on/off switch did not work very well. No matter what I did, when I was trying to put the ball back in the cover, it would keep going off. I would turn it off just as illustrated but I guess my hand would hit the button and turn it back on and it would turn on and start barking and vibrating again. I thought I would never get it back together. Then the real fun started. Three dogs – three fails. I really thought that the Shepherd-mix we were babysitting would get a kick out of this toy. She was terrified as was my dog and my sister's dogs. If it went off downstairs they all charged upstairs or outside. So sad. The only one who enjoyed is was the 11-month old who was visiting at Christmas. She loved the vibration and she loves dogs so it was made for her.YAHSATX

It's not expensive and appears to be made well, but 1. was nearly impossible to open the pocket that houses the ball to insert the 3 x AAA batteries. Actually had to cut the stitching to remove it. 2. My 2 dogs were scared of it and wouldn't even engage with it, possibly because, in addition to jumping around, it has barking and whimpering sound effects (what were they thinking?!?!). 3. If they had played with it as intended, most dogs would grab the tail and shake it side to side. This would result in them getting smacked on either side of the head with the ball, which is hard plastic and has a good bit of mass, due to the electronics and batteries.barbmartbiz

My dog who loves strange noises toys absolutely loved this. He doesn't really care about squeakers but anything that makes different noises he just loves. It also wiggles and rolls around randomly and he LOVED that. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is there is an on off switch which can be easily pushed down by playing with it. I ended up taking it out of the squirrel tail it came in and just putting a regular squeaky ball in that which my female loved. I use the burlap zip up bulk rice bags from warehouse stores for all the torn toys, squeakers that are removed, noise makers. I bought this for my mom for Christmas because she has a Lab that LOVES to play catch. I had a few things I was worried about that ended up not being an issue at all: 1. My mom is in her 70s so I worried she would have trouble pulling the handle back. Ended up being a non issue pulls back easily someone older or a young child could pull it back 2. How far would it shoot. She has an okay size back yard but its not overly large and I didn't want it to shoot to far or to short. You determine how much power you want it to have based on how far you pull it back. It ended up working perfect for her average size back yard. 3. Would it be easy to load. Just so long as your dog is good about dropping the ball you just push the kannon right over the ball on the ground and it loads which makes it extra easy for my mom. Of course you can load it with the ball in your hand but after a few throws that ball can get pretty disgusting. Added bonus it has a place in the handle to put an extra ball so if you shoot the ball to an area the dog can't get it or you have another dog around thats a ball thief (like my dog) you have a backup at the ready. I would definitely recommend this to anyone with a dog to likes to play catch and if I remember correctly they even have one for small sized balls if you have a smaller dog.Morgan

Playing fetch with my corgi proved to be anything but joyful after a few throws. After developing "tennis elbow" on both right and left elbows, I had given up until I discovered the Hyper K9 Kannon™. Within hours after purchasing the first one, I knew I had to get a backup ASAP. My corgi has never been happier playing fetch! The Kannon™ shoots the ball farther than I've ever been able to throw one by hand. It's great to be able to aim the Kannon™ where I want the ball to go, making it easy to make sure my corgi doesn't get in harms way en route to pick up the ball. My only concern is that the heavy duty rubber band might break at an inopportune time. I bought the backup just in case that would happen. I didn't see any option to order replacement rubber bands so I'm not expecting the Kannon to last more than a year. But, it is a small price to pay to save my elbows while adding a "ton" of joy to my corgi's playtime. Replacement balls are available. My corgi likes to chew balls so after I quickly went through four balls with her, I had to find an alternative ball her teeth couldn't penetrate.BarbTUSA

My little dog loves this toy! There are fang puncture holes along the edge she likes to grab, and we play tug of war with the floppy disc, and I play fetch with her too. She loves it! It’s one of her favourite toys to play with. This floppy disc toy is also very durable, and it takes a long time to wear out. I can pick up my 15 lbs dog from her teeth with this toy, that’s how strong it is. The one I currently have, I’ve had for 3 years, and I’m just now needing a new one. My dog is the type to completely ruin toys too, and I can’t give her fluffy toys, or within a day it’s stuffing is all over the house. I have had several of these over the years with our family dogs! Each one lasts for years and they get used daily in the summer. I highly recommend this toy as a staple for every dog or puppy! I have been using the Tail Spin Frisbee since 2008 and have probably purchased close to 40 of them. Now have a third generation of dogs. I bought two new ones for about the same price that I always have. The soft silicone rubber ring is no more and is now hard tygon like PVC and the new cloth is very thin and tears easily and immediately. At this point I will not buy them again and will look for an alternative.AndyW

Worked great kept my chihuahua in the yard after only a few days of training. the sad part is we had him finally trained to stay in the yard wo a lead and a neighbors pit (one of 4) dug under their fence and attacked him & me. Although he survived The initial attack (and the shock collar survived as well as it was bitten off & scratched but still works) my dog died a week later from complications before surgery. Now i wish Id let him run out of the yard, hed obviously have been safer. Still a great item worked great and it wasnt the collars fault. Id recommend this item to someone even w an older dog. This works great on my Pomeranian. I needed something to keep him from running into the road, onto the school bus with my kids, or into the neighbors yards. I don't even have to use the shock setting, the vibrate setting on 80-100 works wonders. He now comes when I call him without me having to use it. The only negative thing about this collar is that you have to pair it every time you recharge it, and one time I forgot. Definitely worth the money.Winter

This is an effective tool to train your dog with options to not have to shock the dog unnecessarily. The collar has a good range as my dog has come running back from 4 houses down on the first day when we used it the first time. It has a beep warning that has been very effective in the training process. As soon as my dog hears that beep it stops and sits. It also has a vibration that I use instead of the shock that is very effective. It has an intensity level that can be set. My dog is small and this product has changed his future as I know he would have eventually gotten hit by a car because he could get through small spaces in the gate.chris-dgfi3nhbs

I am a dog trainer using the click and treat method. I have purchased the Buddy Systems to loan to my clients for their time in class. It eliminates on item to hold onto while doing the click and treat method of positive training. Also having nervous human hands off the leash is settling for the dogs. Love the system. I walk both my dogs with it, who are 90 and 50 points. I found my should was starting to hurt, not from their pulling, but from holding my arm at the same position while holding the other leash. Adopted a black mouth cur from the shelter. Escape artist, separation anxiety to the maximum. First time I put the shirt on her, I left her in the car while I ran into the store (no, it wasn't hot out! and I wasn't long. but I'd be wondering the same, reading the above!) When I got back to the car, though, she had the thundershirt Off! And she was trying to escape from the slightly open window, yelping! I recently adopted 2 retired greyhounds and noticed my female would hide and pant before and during rainstorms. I bought these just a few weeks before July 4th since the firecrackers were already starting to explode in our neighborhood and my male grey refused to walk after hearing pops and getting spooked. I got 2 in XL: one in Camo with orange stripes and the sport in platinum which has a quilted weave and feels thicker so I could see if they had any preference since they both fit on either dog (they like them both). Just followed the directions for wrapping the shirts and it seemed to instantly calm my girl down to the point where she doesn’t want to take it off though eventually she lets me. I’m not sure it helps my male so much since it’s gotten so hot out that I won’t add an extra layer on them in this heat and cause them to have heat stroke but I put it on them during stormy weather and they both really like wearing the shirts which surprised me so I think he likes it too. My "little" guy has a life long issue with loud noises that began about eight years ago when he was eleven weeks old and we ventured out in between thunder showers with his mom and dad. Suddenly a stray lightning bolt hit missed us by only a few yards and the accompanying explosive noise terrified my three dogs and myself. The dogs went howling into the house and you can imagine the impact that experience had on a very young pup. I did everything I could think of to acclimate Yulee to sudden loud noises but nothing seemed to work as well as the ThunderShirt we purchased on the Amazon site. He's not as frightened of approaching thunder boomers as he is by gun fire or fireworks probably because he can gradually get into a more relaxed state with advancing storms. Now we also have time to prepare him for the thunder claps and we're relieved that he apparently finds the ThunderShirt comforting. He also likes to have time to curl up in secluded spot where he probably doesn't feel as exposed to any inherent danger – (see the third image). You can tell he's starting to feel threatened in the middle shot where his tail is tucked under his rear and the noise from today's thunderstorms is getting increasingly louder. The only reason the ThunderShirt didn't earn 5 stars from me is that at a svelte145 pounds Yulee was squeezed too much for our liking by the largest size (XXL) offered. We wrapped him in it without over tightening the material to make it uncomfortable while still affording him the gentle pressure and protective aspect of security. The fabric of the ThunderShirt Sport is a lightweight polyester which I felt might be lighter and more breathable than the other models with a poly, spandex and rayon blend. With all the fur this guy has he doesn't need any additional warmth. The shirt is extremely well constructed with ample velcro closure tabs which do a great job for getting the ultimate fit required…if only he was a bit smaller…Vic

This was a fun way to play catch while it lasted, but after a year the rubberband that shot the ball broke. It does launch the ball pretty far and it's fun to use. I paid almost $20 when I bought it, and I just wish it would've lasted longer.brittney.b

I have listed this as a good value. However, there are numerous listings for this item ranging from $94-$10. My 100+ pound lab mix absolutely loves the mini Kannon- in fact I keep spare brand new ones- but I would not pay $94…davidh4221

This thing gets some good distance and it allows my young children to play fetch with our dog. Its easy to use and works as designed. You definitely can make your dog very tired with this thing. For the price you truly can not beat this product, this is the smaller version and the next go around I'm getting the bigger one.joseph.b
