When these first came out on QVC my husband and I got it for our puggle dog Butchy. Half pug the daddy Sir Manny and beagle mama Dam: Misty. We got Butch from a reputable breeder in Southeastern Indiana, a lovely farm and happiest place on earth for puppies to run and play. 🙂 Butch got a lot of his Amish mama's traits laid back most of the time but at times ornery full of energy and running after critters mostly squirls that he pulled his ACL jumping off the deck and running after one and had to have his leg in a special cast and had to wear the cone of shame for a few weeks lol. Did he learn his lesson nope lol! Over the years we tried many harnesses, but none would work only but this one. I can't thank you enough for your product how it helped train Butch when old enough to walk with a harness lead to be more calm and more in control and a happy walker instead of tugging and pulling or he would have a tantrum sit and not budge lol. Years pass quickly to be suddanly mid 60s and senior and the harness was used often and is still in good shape after 10+ years and tucked away. My husband and Butch recently passed on 2 years ago a few days from each other of cancer and are together in heaven. Thank you again for putting love and care into your harness. My awesome dog is a firecracker and tends to pull when she goes for a walk. This is the easiest leash I have ever used. It does not choke her; it is designed to go across her chest not her throat. As I previously stated I bought two of these harnesses in two different sizes. A small and a medium as I was not sure which would work. The small is a great fit for my 13 lb Shih Tzu. But this is summer and she is shaved down. I am going to use the medium size for winter to go over her sweaters and coats. This is our second Gooby harness purchase. I actually prefer this style to the previous mesh one with suede trim. We had previously purchased the Gooby Trekking Step-in Memory Foam Dog Harness РMandarin Orange РMedium and loved it so we thought this harness would be great as well. We ordered a medium, yet runs smaller than the ‘trekking’ harness (that medium fits her perfectly) Therefore it seems a bit too tight even on the loosest setting. We also ordered a large (from another website) and although that seems to fit her a bit more comfortably, it seems a bit too big. I just got a couple Airdale Terrier puppies that are about 4 1/2 months now. They're in training now so I wanted to find something that would be comfortable for them while learning to walk on leash. I've tried numerous harnesses and never loved any until this one. I have a miniature rat terrier who is 13.5 lbs. He tends to be too big for mediums and way too small for large sizes. Finally, this harness fits perfectly in Medium! There's even a little room to spare in case he gets larger. We wanted to take off pressure from his neck and the v neck design and light weight, soft mesh is great! It's by far the softest one I've ever felt, and I've tried every one at multiple stores. It's so comfortable that it could be left on all the time even in summer since it's so breathable. My dog lives it too! He seems to feel safe and calmer in it like a thunder shirt makes him feel. The first time I took him on a walk he seemed to feel "free". He was so happy to pounce around without worrying about a jerk in his neck. We give this one 5 stars!!!! I got this in black, size medium from Amazon. She has a 12" neck and a 19" chest. This harness is adjustable around both neck and chest. My pup has a high chase drive and will sometimes pull suddenly. I like that the x-shape doesn't put as much pressure on her throat when she pulls, and the double d-rings and buckle closure feel very secure for her leash. The company acknowledges that it can not withstand even a quick nip from your dog. Ridiculously poor quality. I really like the product. The two connection points give me more control over my reactive dog. A few months after purchase I noticed some of the nylon was unraveling near one of the box stitches. I contacted the company and provided pictures and they replaced it right away. Great product and great service.
Just know that this isn’t a miracle product that will completely stop your dog from pulling. It’s not a replacement for training. YOU as the owner have to teach your dog proper leash manners. But if you want more control, or you have a reactive dog, I definitely recommend this.Rachel Cormier

This is a good product. It is a really long harness so it bunches up in the middle when my dogs sit and when we are walking sometimes. The quality of the material is good and I do not feel like they are going to pull out of the harness. I do have an issue with the sizing chart. I got a large because that is what I normally have to get for my labs and then after the order looked at the chart. It showed that I should have gotten an XL at least. I picked this harness because it looked comfortable and tough, both highly important things when it comes to gear my dog wears. My dog is a husky/border collie mix and walking him with only a collar is unpleasant for both him and me. With this harness I have much better control with him, and he seems happy to wear it. What a fantastic harness! My 90 pound dood is a consummate outdoorspoodle and now he can pack his own water, snacks, and frisbee thanks to the bungee cord feature. The harness is wonderfully customizable. I have a Huge, deep chested giant pal who is wearing the 2-3X size. The straps are incredibly adjustable at the shoulder, neck, and across the girth to fit a wide variety of pup shapes. The material is extremely durable, seems to resist staining (I give it a quick rinse when my mudpuppy has really had fun), and most important, the harness is lightly padded for comfort. My pal literally jumps for joy when he sees it because he knows he's off on an adventure. I also love the bright yellow which pops at night when we are out exploring. The bungee cording is threaded though material that feels like the hook side of velcro. I plan to purchase the Backcountry X Petco Go Bag so we can carry even more fun along on our adventures. I wanted a front clip harness for my adolescent SDIT who needs a bit of extra "steering" right now. I thought this harness would be perfect, but after using it once, I realize that the description didn't give neck measurements. Buying based on girth size alone, I ended up with a harness that hangs on my adolescent German Shepherd (whose girths usually fill out long before their necks). With such a loose neck on front clip harness, the whole thing spins. There's no way to size it down. So for anyone with a young deep-chested breed, watch out for that. Otherwise, my dog clearly liked it. The Y (between the front legs) strap design is ergonomically superior to traditional harnesses, especially with growing dogs. It's lightweight and comfortable. Like all my other Active Dog harnesses, the quality is second to none. It should be a great harness for my dog during the heat of summer after he's filled out. I love how reflective it is. (In the photo, the restaurant patio was quite dark. The harness was impressive the way it lit up when the flash hit it.). It's a nice enough harness that I'll just put this away until late summer. If the neck were more adjustable (or neck size listed in the description), I'd give this a 5 paw rating.Lori
We received the no pull service dog harness, padded cordrua clip on bridge handle and ID that we just ordered. Much sooner than we expected. We new we wanted a no pull harness for our (working) service dog because they have work so well our other (pet) dogs. The minute we took this harness out of the box it exceeding our expectations just in quality construction. We ordered a M/L using the "how to fit your dog" chart. The sizing chart was an excellent resource. We adjusted the straps to fit. And are very pleased with a fit that will support the growth our dog will experience. This Voyager dog harness is great for my pup! I am training him to walk on a leash and this is so helpful so that I don’t pull on his neck. I got the size XXS for him as he was 4 lbs. I abdolutely feel in love with this harness (by far the easiest to get onto my puppy). I love is so much that I jought 6 of them in the past 4 months. Why did I need to buy so many one may ask…becauae that is how many the puppy chewed through in that period of time. I ended up switching brands after the 6th one.
