My 12 year old Yorkie suddenly starting losing the contents of her bladder during the night. The vet suggested checking for a UTI. I did some research and found that not only would that be expensive and require a course of antibiotics, many people found that the dog's UTI would come right back after they were done. Since she wasn't in pain when urinating and there was no sign of blood, I thought I would try apple cider vinegar first which evidently works very well. It didn't help so next I tried Tinkle Tonic which did help, but not completely. I called the company which makes it and they suggested using the Tinkle Tonic concurrently with the Leaks No More. Voila, no more leaking! When the TT was finished, I just kept using the Leaks No More and it worked fine by itself. Two caveats, you have to keep giving it every day and by itself. I tried another of their homeopathic remedies for itching and gave it concurrently and when she leaked again, found out from the company its effectiveness is reduced when given with another remedy.the-old-den-closet

I bought this product because our pup was having accidents in the house. I followed the instructions exact. One important part is clean the area then spray it with this product and leave it! Very important because I think the citrus smell is unpleasant to them. I did not think it was strong smelling at all. She did not pee in these areas again. She is now pretty much trained to pee outside. After reading the reviews I really think it all comes down to if the dog finds the smell offensive or not.Hpic

The reviews are very very mixed, so I was super hesitant. I had gotten a kitten and she really likes to have her accidents on the landing of the stairs. Almost 2 months later, I have tried 4 other sprays, carpet scrubber additives, and carpet powders. I have spent $25 on ONE product, and over $150 for all that I've tried. From the first spray, the accidents stopped. Its been over a week now with not a single accident! I spray it once before leaving for work and once before bed! I just bought and The wood is warped. Not all the holes are drilled for the screws. The floor does not sit level. It is not worth the money! I had to glue the top on because the screws were not correct and all the wood broke! By better quality!Donotbuy

I haven't bought it but would like to say… The description states leisure tow… as in look at the hitch type, and maybe the dimensions. Anyone with common sense can see it can easily be placed in the bed of a truck and set-up at site. If you have a golf cart then you can parade your dog around the campground like the description says. Instead of making simple-minded comments, try using critical thinking. Are the dimensions build DOT approved? Does it look like it can be licensed? Could I even see it in my mirrors? Well maybe if I was driving a smart car, but then the "smart" in the car definitely didn't impart any sense into the driver… And finally… am I an idiot? If the answer is yes to any of this, then please keep your idiotic comments to yourself. It's very cute, small dogs on cool spring or fall days would love it. Offer paint schemes to match the owners rig and it would be a perfect compliment to a campsite. I receive the item and the box was in good condition. Upon opening the item there were 8 pieces. 4 walls, the top and 3 pieces that make up the floor. 3 of the 4 walls were split by screws that were inserted on the pre-fabricated panels. I took pieces and sent them to customer service. I believe this was done before being boxed up to ship. Although I was offered a discount for the damaged item I don't believe it would last as the floor did not attach but rested on the ledge of the sides. When my dog stepped into the dog house the first time 1 of the 3 pieces that make up the floor flipped up. It is nice looking but the wood is very cheap. I would not recommend buying.Unhappy Customer

I expected better of this outdoor doghouse, especially for the price. It is made of "fir wood" which isn't a hardwood at all. Pine would have been sturdier. Assembly was easy but the house itself flimsy, with several of the pre-fab section not even nailed or glued together, and some pieces with parts of the wood broken off. Even in the "giant" size it was barely large enough for a 90lb GSD. The feet were plastic and the floor slated wood were the elements can creep through. This house is advertised as ideal for outdoor use – but I wouldn't trust it during a New England winter. It was sent back immediately. I would NOT recommend this manufacturer for outdoor dog houses. For less money you could build a better one out of more durable wood.Razor

I just opened my Small size Precision Pet Extreme Log Cabin doghouse today to assemble. It looks like it will assemble pretty well, although one of the sides is 3/16" out of square. Because the panels are firmly glued and screwed together it will require some adjustment/trimming to assemble correctly instead of attempting to break the glue joints and true it up. Obviously a rush job by the factory in Wuhan. The roof shingles do appear to be very well sealed and bonded together, however there are a few spots on the edges of the composition shingles on the roof where bare wood can be seen at the edges, which would allow water to get into the roof frame, so those spots will have to be sealed. The three piece floor has 1/8" gaps between the slats, so if you want the animal occupying the box to be comfortable when it is cold and windy, you will have to do some modification to the floor, which I plan on doing. The statement that the box is waterproof and weather resistant is a stretch. The stain/preservative used on all of the wood surface is so thin that pouring any water at all on the wood surface disappears as the wood instantly absorbs it. I will not put the box in service until at least 2 coats of a high quality exterior grade paint/stain is applied. If you try and use this box without putting a proper preservative coat on it, you might get one year of use out of it before it rots or suffers UV damage and cracks and splits. This doghouse is being re-purposed by me to be a Barn Owl nest box; the dimensions are almost perfect and as soon as I saw it I realized that it could be used for quick installation during the brief annual window between December to January during which Barn Owls are NOT in their box. All I really have to do is put an insert into the door to reduce the opening size, add a perch/balcony outside the opening, fix the floor, and of course, properly seal the wood so that it will last more than one season. My primary reason for paying the extra money for the "EXTREME" model was the feature description that said: Its stainless steel hardware also adds to its sturdiness. THIS IS A LIE! THE HARDWARE SUPPLIED IS NOT STAINLESS STEEL, so this is my major gripe. My guess is that China figures that most Americans can't tell the difference between stainless and non-stainless steel. I'm a retired engineer, and you can almost always identify stainless/non-stainless steel by its color and appearance, although the surefire test is with a magnet. Regular steel will be strongly attracted by a magnet, if it is stainless steel, you might get a very slight attraction. This stuff is definitely normal steel with maybe a thin coat of zinc – not stainless steel. Doghouse is a nice size and is cute. The parts seemed bowed at first, but everything shored up with a little push just before attaching with screws. My 14 yr old granddaughter put it together with little instruction from me. The house is lightweight, and I am glad for that since we've not decided where exactly we want to put the house. Once we decide that, we will use the provided stakes to secure to the ground. The house does have vents in the front and the back for circulation.MRJ59

After Ian I bought this for my outside cat who is frightened of coming inside, even into the screened-in porch. She stayed in the make-shift shelter I fixed for her during the hurricane and that convinced me to buy a real outdoor pet house to give her shelter when it's raining. We absolutely ADORE this product for our dog! She is a mixed breed whose dominant behaviours reflect her Australian Cattle Dog DNA, and when she gets fixated on something (our cat, our food, us) this Pet Correcter is the only thing we've found that can bring her out of the fixation. We tried the coins in a can, the clicker, a whistle, other devices, and this is the one to which she responds every time. We love that it's not harmful, it hasn't caused her any kind of startle or nervous behaviours upon hearing the sound, and it has enabled us to use verbal 'hisses' when we don't have it at hand to break her fixation. So I bought this today , mostly out of because my nerves are gone from a dog I have that barks at EVERYTHING. I have other dogs and if they even move to change their laying position or I get up to go into other room, she barks non stop. So when I went into the store today and talked to the team member about what I was wanting and her behaviors she suggested this product. I came home and when she started barking and I told her to stop and when she didn't I sprayed it.,it was an IMMEDIATE quiet. then she did it again and I said no, she continued to bark so I sprayed it again. and WOW she stopped. I have to say I am so happy right now, with having 4 dogs 3 of whom like to bark it is hardly ever quiet in here, someone moves or knocks on door or it is feeding time it is a mad house in here. I have a dog who had a very bad and dangerous habit of chasing cars. I tried everything to fix this including: high frequency sounds, treats and positive reinforcement, training, vibrations, physically restraining and even an e collar. Nothing worked, at least not consistently. I bought a can of this and my dog has stopped chasing cars after the FIRST spray! I dont even have to use it, just the sight of the can and he goes on his best behavior. It also has remedied excessive barking. Use it for my medium sized beagel. Only had for about a week but I was impressed with the easy of installation. Took me alone about 40 minutes to set up. Gave extra screw for misplace or damaged ones. I appreciate the porch so I can put his food and water there without getting all wet. I like the half-roof lift as well for easy clean out. So far it has handled a good down poor without any water leaks. It has real roof sealed roof shingles. It also sits about 1-1.5 inches off the ground… don't worry to much about bugs. The dimensions in the inside is a bit smaller than I anticipated, but my dog like small dens. Don't know how it will hold up for months/years to come, but Im initially impressed.Andre

I purchased the medium size house for my feral cats outside to provide shelter from the elements. I received the house in a few days but had to wait for the weather here to cooperate so it could be put together. It assembled quite quickly. The instructions were pretty straight forward & used the picture as a guide. All pieces were intact and all screws and bolts were included. My one issue is the packaging. This manufacturer needs to use a thicker Styrofoam to not only protect the product from damage, but so that when the consumer takes the product out of the box, Styrofoam doesn't fly all over. What a mess! That being said, I plan on getting another one. As soon as it was all set up, the cats immediately inspected it and made themselves at home😊 I didn't give it 5 stars because the packaging needs to be addressed, but the product is one that I would recommend.Catatude

I actually purchased this house for a feral cat that I look after. I added insulation, a heater, and some straw and he's very comfortable and content. I also added a camera, to see what goes on in there, but that's solely for my entertainment. The house is well made and sturdy and looks great on my deck. I'm so happy with it I've ordered another for another cat. And, at around $100, the price is excellent. I'm giving it only 4 stars simply because it needed to be insulated, it just isn't warm enough without it.. With insulation it's a 5 star house, and insulating it was cheap and very easy to do. First, for anyone wondering about the size: my polydactyl is 14” tall at the shoulder, 22 inches nose to base of tail. He curls up inside with spare space. He and his adopted brother try to trick each other to get out so they can get in. I’ve ordered another hoping to avoid someone forcibly evicting the other. I’m in the process of moving things out of my library to turn it into a kitty isolation room after one cat gets I-131…I think they’re afraid we’re moving again so really seem to like the comfort of being in a “box”—my regular length somewhat plump (and a little timid) cat is in this all the time (good since it’s going into his isolation room soon). The floor cushion is removable and can be machine washed. The “barn” can be unzipped to lay flat and can be hand washed. All needs to line dry. While I prefer beds I can toss into washer and dryer, it will be worth it to hand wash the outside part for how much they adore this, especially since the cushion is machine washable.Smallestsparrow

My 3 Medium sized Auskie dogs fit perfectly inside together. I didn't have any issues/problems building it. I find it sturdy & fits my needs. You'll need to insulate it if where you live it snows but great for hot or rainy locations.7 Dogs and Growing

Received it fast from shipper, Some plastic panels were a little bent/warped when they came out of the box and when you are assembling can be a bit challenging but no reason to throw in the towel. I give it 4.5 out of 5 stars so far overall but I haven't had a chance to weather test it outside against the heat, rains and winds that we will be experiencing during the tropical rainy season in South Florida. Look forward to see how well I think it will hold up during this period and also year around. In addition but not as a necessity I plan on adding a new plastic sheet underneath the new elevated level concrete platform and some new comfortable bedding which will be inside covering the plastic flooring base for our priceless family dog. Also due to the nature of the tabbing in assembling this dog house which could be alot better in my opinion, I decided to glue the two piece plastic flooring base together for more strength something that I didn't have to do. I might decide in the future to glue it all together but for now until I complete all the weather testing I will leave it as is. I would suggest to the manufacturer to make the instructions a little clearer/easier to read, make the tabs snap together better and easier, add more vents on the sides if possible, replace the twofront pieces of plastic with screening and as a after market item a battery operated fan/heater that you can install to keep your dog cool or warm. I bought the indigo pet door x-large a couple weeks ago and am extremely happy with how how quickly it arrived. It easy it was to install and the quality is exactly what was needed. This will definitely keep my Little Bit warm this winter when the cold hits here in Texas. I ordered the same door in a large before I went to Tractor Supply and bought the Indigo pet house. Little did I know my Little Bit isn't a "large" dog. Lol I ended up going with the XL house because I know how my fur baby likes to stretch out when he sleeps. I left Tractor Supply and immediately called customer service to see if I could change my order. It was to late, it had already been processed. The agent was very nice and ordered the XL door I needed & advised me to return the Large door to the store. The store refunded me with no questions asked!! Although I bought the door I'm not sure it will work as I want. I bought the Igloo and door for feral neighborhood cats to stay warm this winter. My one local outside cat walked into the Igloo and napped, but this was after I installed the door, flipped it up and taped it up inside. I taped it up in order to let cats get used to the Igloo and door after being installed. Later, after I know cats are going into the Igloo I will release the door and let it hang normally; hopefully, the cats will get used to going in and out of the Igloo and pushing through the door.Ward

The door seems to be working as designed and my dog quickly learned to use it with no problem. The only reason for not giving 5 stars is the difficulty in installing it. There is so little space to hold the nut to put the bolt into (the bolt cannot be put in first!) that my awkward hands could not install it as designed. I have an extensive collection of books on dog behavior and this is by far, one of the best I have ever read. It's the type of book you will refer to over and over. I found it very fascinating. I work in dog rescue and when trying to rehabilitate a dog to be adoptable, I want to be able to understand how he experiences the world. The author talks about dogs from a behavioral point of view, including the effect of environment and genetics on their behavior. She gives examples of her own pet's behavior, which gives the book a personal feeling. She also gives fairly technical information about the dog's anatomy and how it effects their world. This was quite interesting and gives a lot of insight to your pet's behavior. This book compares well with another of my favorite books on dog behavior, "How to Speak Dog–Mastering the Art of Dog-Human Communication" by Stanley Coren. Coren's book is not as technical and deals more with dog behavior and not as much with anatomy. I would highly recomend either of these books to anyone interested in seeing the world from their dog's point of view.dzbfree
