No its like everything else I have tried does not work I can't even get my cats to get it down. My 20 y.o. senior cat has had upper respiratory issues since he was 1 year old, but had gotten so chronic and so bad that he has literally had a stuffy nose and sneezing for an entire year straight. The only thing my vet knew of that might help was an off-label use of Cerenia, which is expensive and was hard to get him to take. I've been taking care of homeless cats and trying to find them forever homes for around 8 years. A lot of the babies have gotten eye infections. I used this on 2 seven week old kittens that had eyes in terrible shape and were cleared up after putting it in their food twice. I adopted an older girl from our local shelter. From what we could tell, she had been on the streets for a long time, but seemed healthy. For starters: I purchased the LifeGold, Old Friend, DetoxGold, and Spark. My little girl is 13 years young. About a month ago my baby girl Littles was told she had to be taken home and put on “Hospice”. My cat is only 2 and a half and he has been suffering from urinary tract infections/crystals for the past year, which is not as common for male cats. My little Gigi, a Maltese/Silky Terrier mix, turned 13 a couple of months ago. Two weeks ago she suddenly stopped eating and was losing weight rapidly. She was also having trouble swallowing. We went to the vet – bloodwork showed normal except for very elevated white blood cells indicating an infection. The vet also found what felt like a tumor on her thyroid. She was given a shot of antibiotics and sub q fluids, but I was told it was the beginning of the end. I chose not to have the tumor aspirated to find cancer cells as I didn't want to increase her stress. I made the decision that I would not put her through surgeries or heavy treatments at her age; my intention was to try to give her the best quality of life possible and let her go when she was ready. I took Gigi home and started researching. I found Life Gold and read all the reviews, then ordered it with my fingers crossed that what I was reading was authentic. I also got Turkey Tail and Agaricus Blazie mushrooms, both known for their cancer-fighting properties. I purchased them separately, as the "kit" that includes a mushroom mix was too expensive for me at the time, but I will likely purchase it later. I started her on everything within two days of her diagnosis. The first few days I was able to get more food into her – she gained a little weight, but was pretty zonked from the powerful antibiotics. Gigi seems to feel better every day and is returning to her old self, but I know that each day is a gift and that things could change quickly at her age. My cat has had repeated uti's involving emergency vet visits and a lot of stress. When the antibiotic wears off, the infection returns. I was at Petco on Sunday and saw this product and decided to buy it in case there was another infection. My cat had a crisis 2 days later with very extreme symptoms. I gave her 5 drops and noticed no change. So I did it again in 15 minutes and she began to calm down. Then she sat quietly for awhile and then went upstairs to sleep under my bed for the rest of the day. The next day she acted like nothing had happened. I was amazed! Time will tell if she will have more problems, but this is way better than dragging her crying to the vet, if I can even find a vet who will see her the same day. While I am not really one to normally write a review, I research other reviews diligently and thought it was time I started- especially to brag on this product and hopefully help someone else. Case: Mittens is a 3 year old female never with any previous UTI issues, Food: ate frisky crunchies and was happy, Fast forward to 2 months ago- she started with always being wet on her bottom. It kind of threw me off because I thought it could be a problem with her rear and not bladder, it progressed to constant going in litter box and barely having anything come out. Through this time 700. was spent at vet, ultrasounds, urinalysis' , lab testing, all showing nothing but antibiotics were administered as it was obvious something was wrong. The vet was insistent about stress thought I was skeptical as absolutely zero had changed in our household and buying the 50. food just was not an expense I was ready to do at that moment. The antibiotics has slight improvement but never fixed the issue. Mittens also has to be put under aneasthesia every time we go as she is very sweet, but not a good patient. During this time I was also an my witts end not wanting to put her thru another battery of testing and my house issue. In that I mean everywhere she went she would leave wet spots and a terrible smell which simply could not go on. So I went to do what you have done if you are here, online research and came across this product. I ordered it and went to bed as it was late and would be ready for pick up the next morning. I was hopeful and excited that this could be 'it'- a cure. So we picked it up and went to work. I followed dosing as directed for an acute condition as that is what we had. I had to administer via wet food because a syringe simply does not work with her. We did 10 drops every 15 minutes for the first hour and went on as directions said the whole time via food, 2nd day three times a day 10 drops each meal, and 3rd day back to initial dosing of 10 drops every 15 minutes for the first hour and 2 more times that day. I was not seeing the 'immediate result' some people had at that point. I will also say I was feeding her uti proplan wet food only during this time. We started Sunday morning and I did not notice relief until Tuesday evening- We were getting a stream of urine. I was so happy I could cry! Now we are at Thursday and we seem to be almost normal. My cat is almost 7yrs of age and never before had any health issues until one day, I saw him spotting in the litter box. He would continuously go in and out, squirt a little urine without covering it, then lick his private area when he was done. This went on throughout the entire day for about two full days. I took my aging terrier off prescription bladder control and switched to this product a little over a week ago. I did not do this gradually. So far, so good. My dog has not had any accidents in the house and seems to have as strong a bladder as with the prescription med. Label said good quality and taste they might be but to tell the truth, I will probably never know cause my dogs spit them out. I've tried to sneak pills in hot dogs, works sometimes most times if they find them dogs turn their noses up and walk away. I read where someone said it did not work, i'm here to tell you that it worked for my Pyredoodle. You have to follow the instructions. I gave her 2 a day for 2 weeks and she quit having accidents. Dog – 50 pound female GSP with spay incontinence since 6 yrs old (now 10). This product does help reduce incontinence. However, depending on the severity of the incontinence, it may not clear up the problem completely. When incontinence first started, there was leakage several times a day (mostly during rest). After 2 months of use (2 pills/day), this product reached its full effect and leakage reduced in frequency and severity (a few times a week in smaller amounts). She will still leak if she drinks a fair amount of water. My dog generally eats a fresh food based diet. She gets quite a bit of hydration from her food and doesn't drink as much from the water bowl. When her diet becomes more kibble based, she's thirstier and drinks from the water bowl. When she's drinking water, it's a large amount over a short time. Shortly after drinking is when she tends to leak. Dog has been on synthetic hormone DES before which works great (maintenance dose of 1 mg pill/week). There's controversy over DES and it's not for every dog. Bladder Strength along with frequent potty breaks (after she drinks) keeps the problem in check enough to not require her DES prescription to be renewed.
