Perfect for what I needed them for! I use these for cat food and water under a counter. I have two side by side, one with the water dish and one with the dry food. They fit perfectly (rather than sticking out as my last trays did), so now we can walk normally in front of the counter without having to step over the trays. And I don't have to worry about the water dish over flowing, because I know that the water will be captured in the tray and not end up all over my new floor! The tray has a small edge, about an inch tall. The tray isn't as thick as the boot tray I was using, but it still works fine. The manufacturer or vendor does not package this product well–Wayfair is not the manufacturer or vendor, so I've had several arrive broken. Great weigh plastic, very sturdy and a nice finish makes it easy to keep clean. We use a squeegee to collect the waste to one crner and makes it very easy to simply flush down the toilet. Wash this product off with a hot spray and some no rinse disinfectant and you are done!Patricia

This crate is very well made, and I put it together in about 20. (and I'm a woman lol!) It you cant figure something out look at the photograph. The only reason I gave it 3 strs is because the description of the dimensions are off. They say the width for the small 24.5. It's not it's 22 inches from the outside wood panels to the other outside wood side panel. The dog will only have 20 inches of width inside the cage (inside measurements from top wood to the other side).So with the company stating it's 24.5 I was thinking it was larger, not the inside dimensions are 4.5 inches less. I'm getting two dogs, so I had to return it for the medium size which states it 32" wide minus 4" should gave the pups 28 " inside or at least I hope so.Jeffrey
We love the size of this kennel. It was easy to put together and looks great with our other furniture. I love that our puppy has plenty of room. We use this specifically during the day when we're gone. She has plenty of room to get up and move around. We also purchased the pad holder which has worked out great and kept the kennel nice and clean. Our puppy can lay at one end of the kennel and go potty on the other. Definitely worth the money!LW

I did not buy this as a replacement for a dog crate! My elderly cat had began urinating on one spot of carpet. I began using disposable pads but was worried about the urine soaking through to the carpet while I was at work. After cleaning the carpet I put this down and covered it with a machine washable/reusable pee pad. This works perfectly for what I needed. When I change the pee pad I just wipe this pan off with an antibacterial wipe.Mustangsally0123
My Dog has identified that where the Logo is stamped is this products weakest point. Because She has tore through the Logo twice now in the past 3 months. I know pets are and expense but not because of inferior products. Get Rid of the Logo!!! No one wants to spend $20 to $30 dollars on something that lasts only 1 to 2 months under my Dog and a lifetime in the landfill.Craig24

This is the best cage on the market. We were on the waiting list when this cage first came out on the market and it has been the best addition we have made to our ferret collection. I am happy to see that there is a replacement tray available now. We keep our tray covered with a ferret blanket and it keeps the trays in almost as good as new condition. After probably at least 3 years of use one of the trays has finally cracked and needs to be replaced but otherwise the cage is great. As far as the sides not being high enough to keep ferret acidents within the cage, we use a large litter pan on the bottom level and we do not have any accidents to speak of.gandco
I have not replaced my lower pan as of yet. But to keep them from chewing the corners, get kiln-dried 1×4 pine and make an enclosure around the edges. Use screws or Elmer's Wood Glue to hold together. Take out the top ledges and replace with kiln-dried pine..secure with wing nuts on the outside. One of my chinchillas chewed a hole in the plastic and got his left rear leg caught. $1500.00 later for the amputation to save his life. The plastic pans are great, as long as you make the surround to cover the edges. It holds in the mess, too. Hopes this helps.Lorraine
