I saw some lower rated comments and wanted to write my own. We got this to help my older lab/boxer with her leaking. It works amazingly!! THIS IS NOT A CHEWABLE!!! A lot of reviews talk about how their dog won't chew it up. That's because it isn't supposed to be chewed! You have to pop it to the back of their mouth so they swallow. This product is more than a blessing to me as a pet owner. As my female Doberman aged she began having problems with urinary incontinence. My little Papillon, Dixie (1.9 yrs old) has had the typical small dog issues with her stools since she was a pup (who ever decided to breed a small breed dog with long butt hair wasn't really thinking "practical"! I like to compare it to a woman trying to go to the bathroom in a wedding dress!) and about 1 year ago she had a BAD bout of Pancreatitis that landed her in the Emergency Hospital for 6 days (a pretty penny- about $2700.00! Thank goodness for Pet Insurance!). This product has been a life saver for both Dixie and me! Ofcourse no over-the-counter medication is an equal replacement for veterinary care if your dog is ill, but this is a great product for every pet owner to have on hand! It's great for the occasional upset stomach and when your dog gets into the cat food, trash, etc. It's also been great with the history of Pancreatitis, if Dixie gets an upset stomach after my regular vet's office hours, it works almost immediately and it helps prevent the dangerous symptoms associated with moderate to severe diarreaha such as dehydration (it doesn't take many loose bowel movements for an 8lb. dog to get dangerously dehydrated), vomiting blood and bloody diarreaha from an irritated G.I. tract, etc,. This has helped by me time to get through the night without having to take Dixie back to the outrageously expensive Emergency Hospital and calms her symptoms until our regular vet opens. It's worth shelling out the few bucks to have this on hand rather than the costs of an emergency visit! It's some sort of Doggie-Murphy's-Law that your pet only gets sick at 2am… I call it Doggie- Immodium, it really does work great and my vet said it's great to have on hand and perfectly safe to give your pet. It says on the label (or somewhere in the advertisement) that your pet will love the taste and the review from "Snoozer" before mine said their dog liked it, but unfortunately I have them beat with "picky-dog factor" Dixie HATES it! The good thing is that because its a nice thick paste as long as I get it somewhere on her muzzle (she puts up a fight like you wouldn't believe- but that stems from being treated poorly and force-fed as a puppy, it's not the products fault) she does lick it off and gets enough medicine in her system to be effective! So overall, I highly recommend every dog and cat owner to have this in your home, even if your animal doesn't have a history of GI issues! Most people have Immodium or pepto in their medicine cabinets, shouldn't you do the same for your pet? PS- the cats LOVE the taste! They even lick the paper towel I wipe my hand off on after giving it! Reba, my Pomeranian (also a picky eater- just not as bad as Dixie) doesn't mind the taste and it's easier and more pleasant than shoving a pill down their throats!JennyluvsRebaandDixie

Hello, I ordered this product for my cat who has had diarrhea for several months following a move to a new home and the stress of a now mobile toddler. The product took a very long time to arrive which is not a huge problem itself, but wish it would have been expressed clearly before ordering. After feeding my cat the 1/2 a pill he threw up about an hour later. I tried once more 8 hours later thinking maybe he just had a hair ball or something and he threw up again. I realize spending $50 on a product that may not work is a risk, and one that I was willing to take. The fly's here in Oregon this time of year are really bad , and I must say I was a little skeptical at firs but when I applied it on my Watusi cattle my problem practically went away. It's very distressing to find 3 happy engorged ticks on your dog 24 hours after treatment following all the requirements re: proper placement location on the dog, shaved the hair to make contact only on the skin, no water on the dog for 24 hours or at all after treatment. I was frankly, pretty shocked. This is an older small dog with arthritis. He is already in some pain and to find the ticks on him on top of this frankly really upset me. I breed Chihuahuas and I also foster cats/kittens. My Chihuahuas are litter box trained so they rarely get fleas because they dont spend a whole lot of time outside. Even when we go for walks, theyre in a dog stroller lol. Anyways… I fostered a litter of kittens that were found outside and covered in fleas. I gave them all dawn baths because they were too small for any flea medicine and my Chihuahuas ended up with fleas. I needed a product that was safe for pregnant/ nursing mama which frontline is. Finally something that works consistently. After trying probably 10-15 brands of flea and tick stuff for my Dogs this is the company I come back to. Ive tried expensive stuff, Ive tried dirt cheap stuff. This works and works FAST. I actually have to put my dogs out if they have fleas on them at all. Within 30 minutes they are jumping off to get away and die. Weve had issues with super fleas here in northeast USA where the only thing Ive found to work is old fashion dawn dish soap and salt.Ive literally spread salt on all my floors so it looks like snow and left it sit over night then vacuum it up and then mop with dawn dish soap, everyday for over a week straight. This stuff not only took care of the fleas on the dogs and cats but the ones in the house would jump on the dogs would die to. Havent had an issue since.Corvet08

It is safe to give your fur baby as early as 2 weeks old and we have not had an issue with worms or parasites with our adult dogs or our puppies that were 2 months old last week. Plus the pups don't mind the taste so there is not a battle to actually get them to take it. I just put it on the food of the adults and it is eaten with no hesitation and I give it to the younger ones by a dropper that they seem to enjoy. My dog has recurrent right ear infection and everytime this happens I just use this product for 7 days and it goes away. His ear infection happens once or twice a year maybe. But this product always works.Cherryl

Vet prescribed this medicine for minor ear infection/redness. Would have never used it if I had known it could cause deafness. After the second dose noticed my dog couldn't hear. Quit using and hope the hearing comes back but it is totally gone now.Charlie

Used product for 7 days- my dog couldn't hear at all after. Hearing never came back, its been 2 years. She had used other tri-otic ointments over the years with no issue. I've asked a few vets and this seems pretty common. Why allow it to be used any longer? There are superior products. Avoid gentamicin which is the active ingredient.Rob S.

VetCaps are so efficient and work very well on our cattle. It sure beats the old way of treating for flies — pouring the product down the cows backs. This required using a squeeze chute or funneling cattle from a pen through cattle panels.Sharleen

My lab/beagle mix suffers from skin allergies, and the poor thing will scratch and chew herself until she bleeds, so I was very eager to try this product. The day I received it, I rubbed down her belly with it (this is where she itches the most) and it seemed like she felt instant relief. When she starts scratching, I apply a thin layer of the gel and she stops almost immediately. And it lasts for hours! My poor pupper got irritated paws from horrible ginko berries smashed all over the fall ground and then made them worse by licking. They were so red and I felt so bad. This product is on the shelf next to a dozen others that claim to do the same thing, but I didn't get to it until three others didn't get the job done. This showed visible improvement within a day. Bonus that he didn't lick it off – before I tried this I would combo an antimicrobial with one of those "bitter taste dogs hate" sprays, but my dog is weird and loved those things and would lick them like crazy. I'd have to wrap his paws and watch him like a hawk. Not so with this! He stays away from it so it can work…bonus points bc spray plus consistency is easy application. This is part of Watson's regular epilepsy treatment regime. VetRx got it to us quickly when other providers were out of stock. It's technically a chewable, but I have to give it to Watson like other meds, wrapped in meat or cheese… He eats around it even if I put it in his kibble. 🙂MARYBETH

Great product, worked for my dog, however, unfortunately the rocks don’t necessarily come in the appropriate weights for usage. Eg. 200gm per 2ltrs of water but one rock may weigh 290gm and the water bowl may only hold 2ltrs of water.Bev

We put new turf in the backyard after the devastation of the chickens which are now on the farm. Straight away, little round patches of dead grass appeared. I recalled the rocks that solve this issue so bought some. The lawn has now returned to its pristine condition. My little dog loves this toy! There are fang puncture holes along the edge she likes to grab, and we play tug of war with the floppy disc, and I play fetch with her too. She loves it! It’s one of her favourite toys to play with. This floppy disc toy is also very durable, and it takes a long time to wear out. I can pick up my 15 lbs dog from her teeth with this toy, that’s how strong it is. The one I currently have, I’ve had for 3 years, and I’m just now needing a new one. My dog is the type to completely ruin toys too, and I can’t give her fluffy toys, or within a day it’s stuffing is all over the house. I have been using the Tail Spin Frisbee since 2008 and have probably purchased close to 40 of them. Now have a third generation of dogs. I bought two new ones for about the same price that I always have. The soft silicone rubber ring is no more and is now hard tygon like PVC and the new cloth is very thin and tears easily and immediately.
