Dog Bed Waterproof Liners For Sale (2024 Update)

This water resistant liner is a must have!! I was washing my 130lb Great Dane's bed cover almost weekly but also would put the memory foam mattress on porch to air out because it would start to smell like sweaty dog. Since putting this liner on, no more sweaty smell. Biggest plus is how easy it was to put on and how much easier it is to put the bed cover on over the mattress. Just slips right on where as before it would stick and make it difficult. Love it and highly recommend.Vicki T.

Does the job but first liner lasted about a year. several small wear or puncture holes appeared in the liner; also a stain that I couldn't get out so I decided to get 2 more. one has a quality issue, the zipper isn't sewn to the liner for about a 5" section of the liner. Haven't heard back yet about a replacement. wish the liner was included with the bed; foam got some wear before I purchased the liner some months after getting the bedLeslie C.

I bought this for my Granddog Dutchess. She's a Great Dane & needed extra room & the orthopedic pad. She absolutely Loves it & is spending more time on her bed now. We have Pug Pups who are trying really hard to make it through the night without a mishap. They do really well but sometime they do have a accident. This accident proof liner makes a great safety net and helps keep any mess to a minimum. Great product, great peace of mind!Donald L

It has already been initiated by my Gentle Giant Great Dane and it held up perfectly! All I had to do is wipe it down and then let it dry. It's also very tough material against all 3 of my dogs nails. No rips on them and one of them digs at the bed before she gets comfortable. This is the exact material I've been looking for. I am so glad I found this!!! My cat likes to sleep on my bed, and she frequently throws up hairballs. This cover retains the fluids and nothing gets onto my comforter! This a replacement, the 2nd one the zipper failed again. My 1.5 year old likes to carry the bed around and scratch to get comfortable. This is 2xs now the zipper has failed. I won't be buying again.Tina M.

My dogs and I love this blanket. It's soft and comfy, and if my older guy has an accident, it protects my furniture. The only drawback is when I wash it, it doesn't spin dry very well. Some spots are still soaking wet when I pull it out of the washer, making it difficult to dry.Donnaiguana

Very happy with this blanket. It's easy to wash, the colour and quality are great, and it looks nice. I bought it to protect my nice bedding from my dogs who always seem to sucker me in to letting them sleep on the bed. I bought the biggest size, and while it covers the top of my queen size bed perfectly, I do wish it was a bit bigger so it covered the sides of the bed as well. All in all its a great dog blanket, and the price is so much more reasonable than a lot of the other options out there. Definitely recommend.Anonymous

I have 3 of the large size Waterproof Dog Blankets. They are very pretty, soft feeling, our dogs love laying on them. Works too – have had 4 incidents, no leak through bed, a huge relief. Perfect size for our 95 pound Golden Retriever. The outer fabric is denim and very durable and washable. Inner waterproof liner protects memory foam. Our dog is very rough on her beds…she likes to pick up and shake and toss her beds around. This bed is heavy and not easily tossed. I think it will last her a long time. Very pleased with the purchase. It arrives in a small package because the memory foam expands upon opening.redhead

I’m giving it 4 stars because it would be nice for dogs that are normal. It has a foam pad and a fabric heat shield type thing inside so it would actually block some cold air. The bottom has a soft plastic that doesn’t really grip to prevent sliding around a crate.Ian

I purchased this to protect the mattress and the cover from dirt. My German Shepard mix loves running around when the sprinkler is on and she loves getting into dirt any opportunity she gets. Even when I wipe her down, she can still have some dirt on her belly in between her regular baths. I have the liner over the cover and I have a sheet over the liner. I wash the sheet and waterproof liner on an average of once a week (over 50 washes so far) and it is still like new. Getting ready to order the crate bed with cover and waterproof cover. She isn’t crated much unless absolutely necessary but use the current crate bed in the car or when we go out of town. Tired of replacing the crate beds as I ruin them after a few washes. I believe buying the Bihar barker crate would be more comfortable and cheaper in the long run as I would be easily able to wash the waterproof cover. I will put the waterproof on top of the cover and then a sheet.Furmom

I didn’t or shall I say couldn’t imagine the difference one of these liners would make on the bed but it does….1) it protects the foam from any type of moisture related issues, 2) it makes the cover go on so much easier so that it doesn’t get “ hung” up on foam as you maneuver it, 3) not that it was ever an issue but it seems to shape the bed out better. I have two large Dalmatians. One thinks he is a lab so always wet from drinking water. They both shed super heavy in white snow so I have to vacuum beds daily and that is where the liner seems to make the cover a better fit and firmer. Highly recommend this product. I am not a seamstress but sew and the quality of workmanship is very good. Seams and zipper top notch. This is priced so reasonable it is well worth it to protect your pups fantastic bedDalgal

Shadow, my 80 pound Lab mix, just turned 14. Thanks to his Big Barker, he is almost as fluid as he was as a young dog. I purchased his BB about 4 years ago and noticed an immediate improvement in his gaits and willingness to play and participate in strenuous activities. He exhibits almost none of the stiffness or discomfort shown by dogs half his age. He's flexible, happy, and still able to jump into the back of my Prius without help. His bother Smokey, who was owned by a friend, passed away over a year ago. He never had an optimal diet or the benefits offered by sleeping on a Big Barker and always seemed much older than his chronological years. I purchased a second BB to keep at my pet sitter's house so Shadow doesn't need to sleep on a thin, inadequate bed when he stays there. No matter how long I'm gone, I know he'll be comfortable on his Big Barker. (For that matter, so is my pet sitter's cat and a Yorkie who she sometimes cares for.Lucie47

We just bought the Big Barker 4" Crate Pad for our 8 year old Labrador! He just loves it! I could hardly put it down and he was already crawling onto it! We had purchased the Big Barker 7" Bed with the headrest for him in 2020. And, Booker really likes that big bed. Booker had surgery for a Luxating Patella when he was 11 months old, and he also has hip dysplasia in both hind hips. Between his supplements and using the Big Barker beds, he is doing very well in spite of his health issues. We also chose to purchase the Waterproof Liners for both the Big Barker bed and the Crate bed. Because these beds are so amazing and will last so long, I wanted to have a waterproof liner for both. I wanted to be prepared for a dog who will eventually become a senior dog and wanted to avoid accidents on the beds. The covers are actually really good for that, but I wanted the extra protection. I have had 2 large dogs at once on the Big Barker bed numerous times and you can't even see any sagging at all. Yet the bed is very comfortable and great for dogs with orthopedic problems. Wish I had found these earlier. I wasted a lot of money buying dog beds every year because they fell apart or were not comfortable for my dog. Booker says "Thank you, Big Barker!!!"Kathy L.

We knew Henny was going to be big when we adopted him when he was four months old, but he ended up being way bigger than we thought he would be once he became one years old (he's a German Shepherd mix, but I swear he's bigger than all the pure bred German Shepherds around the neighborhood. Must be a XL breed in him somewhere). That means XL crate and XL beds. At first we tried the cheapest route, and got a smaller (at least small for Henny) bed/pad from Home Goods. But after a small amount of time and because of Henny's weight, the pad just flattened to basically nothing. Since we were still kennel/crate training him at night, we often heard him moving around to adjust. And when he adjusted, he would get up, twirl around, and then slam down loud and hard (we often thought something large fell in the house). Therefore, the bed/pad did nothing for that amount of impact. Also, although we don't know for sure, it's likely he has hip dysplasia based on certain signs. Eventually, we decided we should invest in a better bed/pad for Henny and looked online for the best. Big Barker beds were frequently on top lists, and after purchasing the Crate Pad, it makes sense why! Henny usually needs some form of an incentive to go in his kennel. But after only a few minutes of opening the box and putting the pad in the crate, Henny willingly walked in and laid on his new bed/pad. We also noticed that he doesn't move around as much at night, and even when he does, definitely no longer hearing a loud slam anymore. There are some things that isn't really the product's fault and shouldn't prevent purchasing, but it's good to be aware and mindful of. Henny threw up once in the middle of the night. It did slip off the top of the pad, but some of it got onto the tray. Eventually the throw up did soak through the zipper and into the foam. We washed the cover, put some baking soda on the foam to suck up the throw up, and it's all good. Henny is a determined chewer and likely has a small case of separation anxiety. We went to the gym for an hour once, and had put him in the kennel with the pad. When we came back, we saw that he chewed off and ate the Made in America tag and the rubber or silicone Big Barker tag that was on the bed. We should've known better, because he's done that with almost everything (he really specifically loves tags). But, he didn't mess with those for a while and we thought it was fine…but nope. Again, not the product's fault. Henny can destroy that most "durable" of things — the Xtreme Kong, hard natural rubber Goughduts toys, etc. So if you have a dog like Henny, maybe just cut those things off ahead of time. Thankfully, he eventually threw up the rubber/silicone tag. The crate bed/pad is really great! And we often see Henny just randomly deciding to go in his kennel to just lay down. I'm thinking we most likely will get a non-crate/kennel bed.msasorith

This is my second crate pad. The first one lasted over four years, but began to smell due to urine. This time I got the crate pad with a waterproof liner. My Ridgeback had joint pain at a ripe age of 2 years. He use to scream in ear piercing pain. He was in so much pain that he would avoid laying down as much as possible. So I researched the best bed I could find, and after a couple hours I stumbled upon big barker. Ever since I got him a big barker headrest, crate pad, and cosequin (max strength+MSM and HA) he hasn’t screamed since. He is now almost 8 years old, and loves his headrest and crate pad. You really can’t go wrong with a big barker. Except, If you have a destructive pup then look for a different bed. I’m glad that I got my big barker beds after my dogs went through their teething stage. However, I have an extremely destructive chewing puppy, and he loves sneaking on the headrest bed to lay on it and surprisingly hasn’t tried to eat it yet. It’s imperative, especially for large breeds, to have a good bed. Arthritis eats away on the bones such as rust eats away metal. Feeling confident that my dog isn’t breathing in material composed of carcinogens, and has no pressure points, definitely gives me peace of mind. When my puppy matures and stops eating everything in sight, I am going to get the two couch big barkers at the largest size and combine both of them so all of my dogs can sleep together. Thanks for creating the best bed ever! My dogs love their big barker beds so much! For those who are daunted by the price, think of it this way: I was spending $60 on a Kong bed per month, that equates to $720 a year, and that doesn’t even include tax. Their big barker headrest that I got almost 6 years ago looks the same as it did when I first brought it home. I have a waterproof liner for the headrest as well, and it’s keeping the bed from deteriorating. It hasn’t lost its firmness at all. The headrest bed is literally nicer than my bed. My bed is the memory foam with springs. A huge Thank you to Eric from my dogs and I! It’s nice to know that there are individuals such as yourself that go above and beyond to help dogs! Firm support for our older large dogs. It makes.noise when stepped on, my dogs are not fond of that. Two covers, an inside waterproof one, and the suede style outer cover. Overall, decent purchase. Price seemed a bit dear, but the dogs use them.Laura

I am giving this one star because the material seems durable and easy to clean. What I received is not comparable to the bed pictured. In the picture, the bed is at least 3-4 inches thick. The one we received had little to no fill, so it is about 1 inch thick, like fabric with no stuffing. To ad insult to injury, the CS for this company told me I would be paying for the return and restocking as they have never had complaints about this item. So, in an attempt not to lose any more money, we are simply using this as an underlayment for another bed.Diane
