I am buying a gallon of this today after having bought a spray bottle size of it from Pet Supermarket on the advice of one of their clerks when looking for something to deal with really pungent odor left by roof rat that found it's way into the basement. Yeesh. I sprayed the the concrete floor and wall really well where the smell was coming from and the smell was gone just as soon as the product dried. The clerk suggested this because it was to be used on concrete and I didn't want to have to go back in and scrub or rinse or brush or vacuum. It did the trick.I've also had many geriatric cats over the years and used various products for their messes and marking issues. All of the products I'd used worked pretty well but this has worked best of any of them.At present I have a 25 year old cat who is no longer able to use the litter box regularly so besides limiting his access to most of the house, I am using pee pads and this product to clear up urine and feces that don't make it to the box.I use it on ceramic tile floor and hardwood flooring sealed with an unknown sealer. The wood floor finish is no worse for the use (but I don't let the product sit on the wood for longer than it takes to spray and wipe up) and the tile takes it like a champ. I have gone back and dry polished the wood floor to bring the shine back up as the product leaves a bit of a residue but a buff with a regular clean shammy cloth quickly takes care of that.Periodically I am cleaning both types of flooring with appropriate methods and have had no "smell-through" or resurfacing stains.After 40-ish years of multiple cats and the one episode with the roof rat visit I am happy the rat came along or I would not have known this product worked so well.K. First, if you are reading this review, please know that I am sorry you find yourself, like me, comparison shopping for cat urine remedy products, and I hope things get better. This is not on my list of "fun ways to spend Friday night," but here we are…at the mercy of an orange tabby cat….he knows who he is…. Second, I feel like I have tried every cat urine stain and odor remover product under the sun, and Skout's Honor products, especially the cat-specific products, have worked the best for me and our household. While Skout's Honor cleansers are not enzyme-based, I feel like they work just as effectively if not better than the enzyme cleaners I have tried. And, the smell of the Skout's Honor products is pleasant unlike the strong, perfume-heavy scent of many other products that just masks the cat urine odor. I have used Skout's Honor on carpet, clothing, bedding, and a mattress, and it has not stained or bleached any surface so far. My male cat peed A LOT on a brand new comforter, and this not only removed the large stain but also the truly awful smell. I was so certain I would have to throw the comforter away or burn it and was convinced that odor would haunt me even then, but the severe mess urine and odor destroyer actually worked. I’m never going back to natures miracle. This stuff really really works. I have been fostering for 12 years and it’s been a challenge to find something that completely gets rid of the smell of cat urine from soft surfaces. The smell is gone almost instantaneously. The best part about it is that there is no perfume that covers up the smell, so you can tell whether or not it is actually working. I’ve had as many as 14 in my house at a time and you cannot smell cat *at all*. I keep my house clean and this helped clean it to the next level. I have purchased both the gallon and the spray bottle. If you purchase the spray bottle, I’d advise you to put the liquid into another bottle as the skouts honor bottle is pretty terribly constructed to where the lid constantly falls off and it leaks. My household is busy, full of kids, dogs and constant traffic of everyone coming and going. Finding products that fit my lifestyle has been tough, aggravating, and frustrating. I was really excited to find biokleen and read about the actual science behind their products. I rolled up my sleeves and dove right into the worst room of our house- the dog room. Ok, so we have two chihuahua dogs and potty training them has been a complete nightmare, so when we are not home, they are left in our sunroom. This Bac-Out was a perfect solution- it was safe for my ceramic tile, actually got down to breakdown and absorb the mess, and completely eliminated the stains unlike anything else I have seen! As luck would have it, my son got a horrible bloody nose after this product arrived. I used it to spot treat the carpet from the trail he left through the house. It worked fantastic. I like the fact that I can pour it on the spot rather than having to spray and spray to cover the soiled area. It worked like magic getting all the blood out of our carpet. The stain lifted on the first try and took minimal effort with dabbing. I only had to apply the product one time to get the spot completely out of the carpet. The spots have not attracted dirt, and the carpet has not changed in texture where I used the product. It has a wonderful fresh smell. I’ve heard of this brand before but have never used it until now and wow, I’m impressed. It does an amazing job at removing stains and neutralizes odors. If you have kids & pets, you definitely need this. I have a Beagle who does have accidents from time to time especially when no one lets him out and he’s left by himself. I just blot up the mess (paper towels work best because I can just throw them away) then I squirt a decent amount on the stain and blot that up. The smell is gone and stays gone. I used this on my area rug and it didn’t stain or bleach it at all. It has a fresh lemon lime scent and it smells clean. So I was curious when it said this can be used for stains. On a different area rug in my living room, my son decided to use marker to color on my rug (I posted before & after pictures to show). Got this for my dog because even after showers, he gets stinky quickly and loves being on the couches cuddled up. Thankfully he doesn’t smell too strong to the point where my house smells like dirty dog but his blankets can catch scents so I bought this and I’m glad I did! I am not super sensitive to smells. In fact I usually like a strong fragrance so I ignored the reviews saying this was way too strong. However, this stuff smells HORRIBLE. It's super strong, chemical, perfumey and artificial smelling. I sprayed it once on the rug in our living room and immediately threw it in the trash. However, in searching for small pet bedding, this eas the first product on the page which is bery concerning! Cedar bedding is very harmful and can even be deadly to small pets, like mice, hamsters, gerbils, etc. It is very aromatic and contains strong natural oils that cause respiratory illness and distress fir snall animals who are much closer to the source and breathe it in in very concentrated amounts. The same is true for pine bedding. If you are going to ise woodcshavinhs as bedding for small pets, aspen is the safest choice! There is nothing inherently wrong with cedar shavings, but it is very imoportant to know how to appropriately for the type of pet you have! And unfortunately, you cant trust that the employees even at pet stores will advise you correctly. I have personally experienced being reccomended pine and cedar shavings for gerbils abd hedgehogs by employees at multiple pet stores. I used this in my cats litter box now. It is better than kitty litter, smells good, when it starts to stink it isn't just oh its good for a couple more days like litter stinks and works it way up to the day it needs to be changed. This doesn't stink until it is absolutely soiled and its ready to be changed that day or so. I like that because you don't smell anything until it really is ready to be changed. You don't scoop anything, you just dump it out, i put my cats litter box in the shower and wash it with soap and water, dry it and then rub some light lotion on the inside of the bottom and top on the inside of both of them. Just got this today. My senior cat was been having problems going to the litter box sometimes and found my area rug was a good place to go. Our puppy loves her waterproof round dog bed! At first, I was worried because she dug at it repeatedly. I thought she was going to ruin it quickly. Nope! It's find and she eventually stopped the digging. You can see some of her nail marks but maybe those will disappear when washed. If they don't, it's fine—I was just thrilled there was no hole from her! She naps on it daily on our breezeway and I don't need to worry about it getting moldy when it gets rained on. I didn't know what to think from reading the other reviews. Some swear it worked, others say it was useless. Here's my experience. When my Bernedoodle first got sprayed, I used the hydrogen peroxide formula you read about all over the Internet. Although, it got all the yellow stain off his coat, the smell was still horrendous. I waited a week thinking it would dissipate over time but there was no improvement whatsoever. Accordingly, I set out to purchase a commercial product and settled on Nature’s Miracle. Initially, I didn’t think it had worked at all – I was in the camp of the 1 star reviews. But then I noticed a small improvement the following day, maybe 10-20%. You might think it was just time not the product, but trust me, after living with the smell for over a week I could tell there was an improvement not related solely to the passage of time. I called the Nature’s Miracle support line to ask how often I could reapply it without harming my dog’s coat. The agent advised repeat applications were fine as long as I waited a few days in between. More importantly, she advised that I should not rinse him off before using it, like you normally do before applying shampoo. That was my mistake with the first application. I had assumed he had to be rinsed first in order for the product to lather up. In any event, after a second “dry-coat” application Nature’s Miracle got rid of at least 90% of the smell…hallelujah! So, follow the instructions, apply it dry and repeat if necessary…it will work. My only advice to the company is to add “Do not rinse first” to the instructions. It just seems natural to rinse before shampooing your dog, washing your car or whatever so adding that little tidbit of information should help customers like me to apply it properly the first time.Hombre

This was an ok cleaner for pet related messes. I bought the one that has enzymes that is suppose to help neutralize the smell. I have a small chihuahua and even though she’s trained to go to the bathroom outside or on a pee pad, she still sometimes loves to go on any carpets/mats we have lying around our house. This spray helped with cleaning that up but I honestly didn’t really notice it helping to eliminate or neutralize the urine smell. It got most of the stain out but to get rid of the smell or to prevent her from going back to that same spot, I still have to take the carpet and wash it in my washing machine. It’s handy to have if she eats something bad and throws up on the tile or hardwood floor but in terms of neutralizing smell, not so much. Would I buy it again? Maybe. This is the second time in 3 weeks our black lab has been sprayed by a skunk. People had referred us to this the first time after the fact. This time we did the home remedy of 1 quart hydrogen peroxide, 1/4 cup baking soda and a teaspoon of dawn. We did that twice, then use a full bottle of Nature’s Miracle Skunk Odor Remover. Instead of using dog shampoo like the product recommends after sitting in the dogs for 5 minutes, we really worked in baking soda into the fir before we washed off this product. These are the best pads I’ve used so far. I’ve tried them all: charcoal activated, huge ones, small ones, blue ones, green ones…. Everything. My cat has special needs as she is older and doesn’t like the feel of litter in her paws due to arthritis. So we line her litter boxes with these and she uses them happily. These smell nice when you put them out initially and the smell dissipates after a little bit. So the smell isn’t overwhelming. It also hasnt deterred my pet from using them. They’re very absorbent and they’ve never failed me in that sense. They certainly hold lots of urine. But as soon as they’re soiled, they do not mask the smell of urine or feces fully. They help, but they’re not magic after all. We change them out as soon as she uses them and would recommend it for anyone using them for puppy training. However, since walking on the urine will wet their paws and then move the peepee paw marks wherever else they go, as far as “transfer” goes, they’re not 100%. If our girl pees and it catches her back paws, they do get a little wet with pee and we have to wash her little pawpaws. So that’s something to consider.Celeste

The tray holds the pad in place securely as the dog moves around. They never leak and absorb the urine quickly. I would never use another brand. There is no lure pheromone added to these pads and therefore perfect for animals that are not in training. Use the correct sized pad for the weight of your animal. A large dog in a small pad will cause leakage. Having a pad trained dog is wonderful for the animal and you. My dog can go to the bathroom when needed and doesn’t have to be in the icy cold weather for a pee. Less stress for everyone. Also convenient for traveling as you can provide a pad anywhere and your dog will use it. Takes time to pad train, and starting a puppy is easiest. However, I did train an electrolyte dog to use these late in life. I highly recommend these pads and the appropriate holder tray.luv2shop

On a weekly trip to Walmart, I stopped by the pet aisle to grab the stash of pads I needed for my fur babies. I usually use the blue lined pads in the large size and they work great. This day I accidentally bought the purple lavender scented ones. I figured if anything my living room will have the added pleasure of smelling great. Well then. My 3 adorable ferrets decided that this scent brought them back to the memories of their ancestors and decided to dig up these new pads as if they had a mission to generate a warp-hole to lavender fields of old. Sensing this could be a problem I took the duct tape approach. Lets tape these suckers into the cage so they can be dug up no more! Eureka! Well, no. The story only really begins here. Then one of them actually used the pad. I mean, well how much could a little carpet shark or three really pee right? Upon the first usage of this lavender scented pad my babies cage was covered in a flood like in the days of Noah! I think they released the Kraken! I had synchronize swimmers on my hands. This just did not work. After calling a clean up crew I decided that it just might be best to return to Walmart to pick up a package of the blue lined pads after all, as who could deal with all this on the daily. Way to go Hartz for the lovely thought behind the lavender scent… but this product had failed me and my babies in so many ways. Fist bump for effort though.Noodle mama

We have the jumbo plus at home, our lab has plenty of room for lounging around with her toys. Then we started traveling and she now has a jumbo for our Jeep/hotel rooms. We love this dog bed! I had been looking for a large dog bed for a while and saw this giant bed for our Bernese Mountain dog, who liles to stretch out when he lies down, but would hang over the sides of his old beds because they were never quite wide enough! The bed is orthopedic, which is great for our senior dog's joints. It's cool material, which keeps him cool because he doesn't feel the cold & gets too hot on fleecy lined beds. You can also remove the outer cover to wash it! Our dog loves this bed and he is quite fussy about what he sleeps on! But he loves rolling and stretching out on his giant bed!
