After 3 years of horrible itching solved only by Apoquel meds, I am extremely happy to say that my dog is off the Apoquel as well as all other required supplements and ailments just to prevent itching so much (coconut oil, probiotics, etc). He just gets Zignature Duck dog food twice a day and he itches MAYBE 2 minutes in a 12 hour period. That's beyond incredible. Worth every cent. I have been purchasing Beneful for at least 4 years, if memory serves. After receiving some coupons in our newspaper, I decided to purchase Beneful to see if one of my older dogs would have less digestion problems. Logan loves every flavor that Beneful makes! He especially loves his veggies, barley, and rice. These items are very imprtant to Logan's health because they keep him regular. Like older adults, older dogs need dietary items that are good and good for them. Logan likes the Beneful dry also, but he does better on Beneful Wet foods. Our Vet says that even though Logan has been mistreated to the point that he has his digestion problems, Beneful is the best food for him and his 14 yr old system. He still likes his fresh salmon, wild rice, carrots and brussel sprouts he gets every other Sunday, but he's just as happy with his Beneful Chopped Beef and Chopped Salmon to name a couple. 🐕🐩🐶🍖🐾 I have a little pomeranian that is very picky! He's a much older dog who has cataracts and isn't very active. He was a rescue dog when I got him he already had all his ailments. I really like that this food is mostly soft even though it is considered dry dog food. I also like that you could see the vegetables in the food as well! Gus really seem to enjoy this food which was surprising given how picky he actually is! At a good price point and it it looks good! I've used this when traveling and after dental surgery for my dog, Sahara, who is a very picky eater (especially when traveling). She has typically eaten this food in those situations. It's very handy to travel with. The directions indicate 2 packets per 5 lb. of body weight per day, but Sahara never takes more than 1. She is an older, relatively inactive pooch.NRudd

I haven't been buying this food for very long, only a couple months. I also feed this dry food along side some other brands of raw or wet food. So honestly I can't say whether it'll make your dog loose weight. I'm still waiting to see obvious results in that area. This is NOT the case for most dog breeds though, SO PLEASE check with your Vet first. I spend a long time comparing not only ingredients, but fat, protein, omega's etc. Also since my dog's overweight; I want L-carnitine in the food I buy for him, and yes this has it (L-carnitine helps dogs loose weight). Anyways I'm always spending way too long comparing and educating myself about all the dry dog food options in a couple of the top pet food chains stores, so I know my stuff. I'm only interested in buying the most nutritous &most beneficial whole body health wise. I only buy what's best for my pups NO MATTER the cost- Although, I'm very strict about what I spend my hard earned money on. I wont buy a product unless it stands out and is worth the price. I look beyond the pretty packaging& statements that are made, and do further research in order to know what the products are truly offering for my pups overall. This product, Fit& Trim by Orijen fits my high standards(which btw are neccessary in this day&age w/the hundreds crap products out there& the high veterinary costs)! I'm most definitely very impressed when I read the label on this product. Most importantly my over weight dog thinks its great too! He LOVES it actually, he ate it all up soon as I put it down and that's not a common reaction I get from him with dry foods. We are on our third bag of Fit and Trim, and my two dogs love it. One of my dogs will eat anything in her bowl, but our male is much more selective. He eats this food gladly. I love how much more energy my dogs have, and they seem to digest this food much better than their previous kibble. Yes, this is much more expensive than other foods we’ve tried, but it was important for us to have as much protein in their diet as possible, and I feel better feeding them something that I know is good for them. My 12 year old Siberian Husky, Aspen, started off as an extremely picky eater when we rescued her slightly over 4 years ago. We put Aspen on orijen kibble, switching her from the raw food whole-prey diet (which I would prepare myself) because she would eat nothing else. She did great on the raw food diet, however that was pretty icky for me to prepare at times… plus it was loads of work for me and literally impossible to keep up on when traveling! Orijen kibble is the next best thing and is very similar to a raw food diet. Both my dogs love it and I have many great things to say about this dog food. As far as kibble is concerned this is the best of the best no doubts about it! I have both my senior husky as well as my husky puppy on Orijen, and all the claims are true it truly does make their fur soft and shiny !! Aspen started off on Tundra, which she liked. We bought Red Regional by mistake one day and she ended up loving that one more, so we stuck with it for awhile. Aspen started packing on pounds though… she got up to 79 pounds and vet said OK, time to lose weight! So switched her to Fit & Trim that way we didn't have to reduce portions too much. She continues loving the taste of her food. It's only been a little over a year since the switch, and she's already back down to her ideal weight range at 56 pounds!!!!! Wow, it worked!! We can up her portions now to a maintenance level, but planning to keep her on it for good. I bought this food 2 weeks ago because my dog has been picky about her food for months now. I have tried Hills Science, Purina Pro, Blue Buffalo – all puppy dry food. I think she really doesn’t like the chicken taste so I thought I’d try something different. From the start when I was phasing out the old food with the new she was way more interested in eating. She also stopped biting her arms which I thought was due to a seasonal allergy but now think it was actually a food allergy. I’m really satisfied with the food! We’ve been feeding Taste of the Wild Appalachian for small dogs for about a year now after switching to about 10 different brands. He loves it. The kibble is small, and the food is palatable and healthy. I wish the small kibble was available in fish and sweet potato too, but this has some fish in it. It’s a great choice in food for a very picky little dog. Now if he would only stop chewing his feet. This is new and been going on for about a year or so. The dogs themselves weren't great quality and let the product down a bit, however this didn't detract from the play factor. My dogs hated it. My dog only used Pro Purina only they want the chicken flavor. I wanted to give them a different meat but I was wrong they hated it. So i had to buy them the chicken kind and mix it with lamb in order to finish the 45 pound bag. I do recommend this brand, just if your dog is used to one flavor don’t tried and change it or maybe you would be lucky and would love it. However my dog didn’t. But this is what the vet recommend, I am an owner of two German Shepard and this is what the vets recommended me and it is the best. It last almost the month and it feeds for 4 dogs. Two big dogs and two small once. I just buy this brand and all 4 dogs like it but only the chicken flavor. I once tried a different kind of brand and my dogs had diarrhea and would throw up just and all because I wanted to saved money but I was wrong it was expensive because I had to buy the one they regularly used. I was told I had to changed their food slowly not fast like it did. However it is number one brand food is recommend by vets for German Shepard and I can agree with it. This is the only food I can feed my dogs with sensitive tummies. I run a rescue as well as have my own furbabies which many have food allergies. I have literally tried every type of food and this is the only one they can eat that doesn’t cause an allergy or stomach issues. I like that I can also feed it to the dogs who don’t have allergies and that it works just as great for them too. I even noticed their fur improving to be soft and it enhanced the coloring. Their teeth even improved as it helped remove tarter build up. It even helped the dogs that were over weight as they have lost weight and maintained a healthy weight after. Feeding this to our Mastiff Pup. She has been on it for several months now . She loves the food, she prefers small bites so this food is perfect for her. I bought Purina dog chow little bites about a couple days ago and ever since I started feeding my dog that she has been sick in her feces ive noticed certain material in it that looked like oats but also shavings of hair I have never seen her this way and was wondering what it was finally I was Prepping her food for today and I noticed while mixing her food the purina brand had the same substances inside my dog feces aswell as the little hairs there was a bunch of little hairs inside the pebble and found this all through out the pebble. The dogs were previously eating Merrick, however the quality of the food began going downhill compared to when we first bought it. About a year ago, my elderly Senior Husky went through an emergency – bulging disc and nerve damage. I thought I was going to lose her shortly thereafter. I've nursed her back to health, but it hasn't been easy. She's grown EXTREMELY PICKY ever since. I cycle through 7 kibbles, freeze dried patties, and have experimented with over 20 different wet. I googled Stella & Chewy online and discovered they have kibble. I had been looking for a good brand with a little higher protein for my senior (10) miniature poodle. I found that it was sold at Loyal Companion and that they had a great deal going on. I bought two bags of the Beef and ancient grains. I mixed a little in with my dog's regular kibble and noticed she started to eat with gusto. I left her and when I returned she had taken pieces of her regular kibble out of the bowl and was just eating the Stella & Chewy! I take that as a positive review!Kathleen C.

I’m not crazy about some of the ingredients in this food. I make homemade and/or buy premium brands with no junk in it. That said, my Chihuahua developed a heart murmur, so I took him to the cardiologist. He was diagnosed with a mitral valve condition common in the breed. He was placed on 2 meds, and this food was on the list of heart-friendly foods that was recommended by the cardiologist. It’s been almost a year and he’s doing great. Since I have 3 other seniors, I put all them on this, too. Cardiologist said she’s seeing a lot of heart problems in dogs fed grain free/boutique type diets. I recently started giving this food to our 13 year old mini dachshund. She really seems to like it and the price is much more affordable than the veterinarian brand I was feeding her before. I try to change up her food every so often so I can insure she's getting all the nutrients she needs. I have tried literally every higher end brand of food and this has been my #1 go to brand. It’s one brand that I have found to be COMPLETE AND BALANCED, which I haven’t found very often. It has the perfect size kibble for my fur babies. The star add an extra cuteness to it! I have Morkies and Morkie-Poos. 5 fur babies total ages range from puppy (under a year) up to 4-5 years old and they eat this up happily. This brand is for all growth stages so I was able to feed my puppy and adults the same food instead of having to buy separate bags for separate ages/stages. They like this dry food and the wet food by this same brand. They have had both the duck and lamb and liked them both the same. From prior brands I have noticed chicken flavor is okay but not their favorite. They’ll eat it if that’s all their is but they do not prefer that flavor. Therefore, I have not tried the chicken flavor from this brand so I can not review that flavor but I am assuming if your pet likes chicken it would be just as good. I also checked this food on a trusted top dog food review website and this earned a high rating of 4.5/5. All in all, I will definitely continue using this food and highly suggest it for smaller breed dogs.Cyntrep

I've been using Tiki Dog for about 4 years now and without a doubt it's my dog's favorite. I came from the Blue Buffalo family (which is not bad) but my small dog Malibu gobbles this stuff up!
