Not necessarily patterns but maybe a beige, white, or fun pinks or blues would be perfect. I don’t mind so much but i think that would draw more people in. Still 5/5 though! Other than that these were everything i wanted and more. Fit perfectly, definitely breathable but also doesn’t let much light shine through the sides. Velcro closures on the corners keep it from sliding which i didn’t realize that these had. My favorite small touch is the tan “accent” line that runs around the entire thing though. The wire crate is extremely flimsy. I have had others that are of much better construction. My dog (a very gentle, but newly rescued lab) was able to bend the wires enough to cause the magnetic wood pieces to separate and basically force her way out of the crate. During the day I have to crate my 11 week old Pitbull puppy and she is not a big fan of it, yet. Well the first day I crated her, I foolishly gave her full run of her 42" crate with the bumper lining in it and the cover of the crate. Well I got home to a DRIED, HARD poop smear fest. I was so worried that the staining from her poo would not wash off of the Khaki cratewear. Well not only did it (thansks to Nature's Miracle Pet Detergent too) but it maintained it's length and shape. I was afraid that it would shrink in the dryer, even on the dleicate cycle. No need to worry. Since then I have taken the bumper out, put her divider up and only the cover remains on the crate. She has gotten poo on the cover and holds well with each wash. I recommend that if you have a puppy new to crating, only use the cover and then when they can be trusted not to mess, add back in the bed and bumper. I personally cannot wait until she gets to that age, because when you put it all together, it looks FAB! My mom really likes the cover as well, great home estetic (sp?) and it makes the crate look so much more homey then w/o it. Recommend to shop around for price, thus far dog.com had the best deal!R. She is not as scared as before. Honey is my wonderful Golden Retriever! Before I saw this product, I didn't know what to do. I would bring her in the laundry room and give her something to calm her BUT, as soon as any loud noise,etc. would be heard, she was clawing desperately at the door and sometimes it was hard enough to get in the house(Landlord not happy)Now she runs inside and goes straight into her den of safety! I got this because my dog is anxious, and it had been suggested to make his "den" smaller and reduce his visual field. So I measured and ordered. I use my laptop's webcam to watch my dogs and make sure they're not destroying the house. 1 hour into having this on his crate he had already managed to pull this "form fitting" crate cover THROUGH the crate grate and tear the bejeezus out of it. So much for that. If your dog is even remotely an anxious chewer, forget about it.Wubbis
This product was a good idea, but the size is way too small. I measure my crate and purchased the matching size and could not get it over the edges of the crate. It's a good quality product. You can tell it's well made. However, you would definitely need to buy a size bigger which I'm not sure it will look right when put on.rlr1721
