I've tried numerous harnesses and never loved any until this one. I have a miniature rat terrier who is 13.5 lbs. He tends to be too big for mediums and way too small for large sizes. Finally, this harness fits perfectly in Medium! There's even a little room to spare in case he gets larger. We wanted to take off pressure from his neck and the v neck design and light weight, soft mesh is great! It's by far the softest one I've ever felt, and I've tried every one at multiple stores. It's so comfortable that it could be left on all the time even in summer since it's so breathable. My dog lives it too! He seems to feel safe and calmer in it like a thunder shirt makes him feel. The first time I took him on a walk he seemed to feel "free". He was so happy to pounce around without worrying about a jerk in his neck. We give this one 5 stars!!!! I got this in black, size medium from Amazon. She has a 12" neck and a 19" chest. This harness is adjustable around both neck and chest. My pup has a high chase drive and will sometimes pull suddenly. I like that the x-shape doesn't put as much pressure on her throat when she pulls, and the double d-rings and buckle closure feel very secure for her leash. The look of the harness is great however the material cannot stand up to chewing which is not covered under warranty. This Voyager dog harness is great for my pup! I am training him to walk on a leash and this is so helpful so that I don’t pull on his neck. I got the size XXS for him as he was 4 lbs. I abdolutely feel in love with this harness (by far the easiest to get onto my puppy). I love is so much that I jought 6 of them in the past 4 months. Why did I need to buy so many one may ask…becauae that is how many the puppy chewed through in that period of time. I ended up switching brands after the 6th one. This is a good product. It is a really long harness so it bunches up in the middle when my dogs sit and when we are walking sometimes. The quality of the material is good and I do not feel like they are going to pull out of the harness. I do have an issue with the sizing chart. I got a large because that is what I normally have to get for my labs and then after the order looked at the chart. It showed that I should have gotten an XL at least. What a fantastic harness! My 90 pound dood is a consummate outdoorspoodle and now he can pack his own water, snacks, and frisbee thanks to the bungee cord feature. The harness is wonderfully customizable. I have a Huge, deep chested giant pal who is wearing the 2-3X size. The straps are incredibly adjustable at the shoulder, neck, and across the girth to fit a wide variety of pup shapes. The material is extremely durable, seems to resist staining (I give it a quick rinse when my mudpuppy has really had fun), and most important, the harness is lightly padded for comfort. My pal literally jumps for joy when he sees it because he knows he's off on an adventure. I also love the bright yellow which pops at night when we are out exploring. My daughter told me about these harnesses and how they're like a hug for puppies/dogs. I decided to give it a try and I'm glad I did. They fit perfectly. Our husky puppy is a little escape artist so having a harness that is sturdy and fitting is a must for us. We had a different harness when he was smaller but now that he’s growing (46lbs already at 5 months!) we needed something that will last and keep him safe. This harness checks all the boxes for us! Snow actually walks better in it, doesn’t pull as much as with our old one. I’ve used many harnesses over the years but this is by far my favorite! My last harness had Velcro straps and as time went on the Velcro began to wear out so in less than a year I couldn’t use the harness any more. So when I started looking for a replacement I specifically tried to find one that was high quality with no Velcro so it would last a long time. I spent weeks looking for the perfect harness with no luck….. Then I came across this one!!! It is absolutely perfect in every way! The chest piece of the harness is made of a high quality sturdy padded material that keeps your dog safe and comfortable at the same time. All the straps are super adjustable so it can fit your dog snugly no matter what their body shape. My dog has a small head/neck, large chest, and skinny waist. So having a very adjustable harness is essential to making sure she is safe on our walks and can’t slip out accidentally. I got her a size medium and it fits perfectly! It took me probably 20 minutes of tweaking to finally get the harness adjusted just right. But now that I have it adjusted it’s super easy to just pop on any time she need to go outside. I’ve also found that this harness fits well under a doggy sweater during cold weather since it’s not overly bulky.Anna
I got this harness for my golden retriever, who is about 80 pounds. He’s big but he’s lean, and I got an XXL for him. However, this harness DID NOT fit! An XXL didn’t fit my GOLDEN RETRIEVER, an averagely large dog. I expanded all the straps as long as they would adjust and it still was too small. I’m pretty disappointed, as there aren’t any sizes larger than this. What kind of dogs are they making this harness for if an XXL won’t fit a Goldie? The reason I gave it 1 star was because it felt well made and it looked really nice, but other than the look I wouldn’t give it any stars. The straps were rough nylon and seemed like they would chafe if worn for an extended period of time. Overall I wouldn’t recommend this product, and would suggest spending the extra money for something more comfortable for your companion.Ali K

Tried a S and M for my 29lb corgi who is in between sizes. M fits better on the smallest setting though not great for walking bc the chest strap is a bit wide but that’s okay. This is for car safety and we have another dedicated walking harness. This is great quality and I feel better knowing she’s safer. Bought a seat belt clip. She’s able to move around comfortably. I think she actually likes it more bc it stabilizes her in the car.Ming
I purchased the x-tra-large harness. It was very loose on my dog even though he has the right dimensions for that size. After spending an inordinate amount of time adjusting the straps we had a good fit. However, he very quickly, by wiggling around a bit, loosened the straps back up. I tightened them up again, only for them to become too loose. Once he even got out if the harness! While in the car! Not happy. My dog is a pitty and he weighs 75 lbs.Debra
Harness came quick and was easy to adjust. I would highly recommend it. Only 4 stars because of a couple minor issues. The first is when at its smallest adjustments, the extra strap hangs loose. Not a big deal but with my puppy, she can then grab it to chew on. The other thing is, the two rings to attach a leash to are too far apart. When clipping on a leash, it bunches the clasps together making it uncomfortable for the dog. I end up just using a separate collar but it would be nice if I didn't have to.Sandra R.

Will be returning. Our Yorkie mix weighs 10 lbs and measured 14 inches around her chest. Based on the size chart, we ordered her a size Small. We paid extra for shipping. When it got here, it looked tiny. I adjusted the straps and tried putting it on our pup but it’s too small! It barely went over her head and wouldn’t close even at the largest adjusted strap point. Either your size chart is wrong or your product is mislabeled. I will be returning this harness. Which is too bad because I love the harness she has from your company but it is stinky now and the smell won’t wash away. I like this harness! I have a mini aussie and he is a chewer. Sometimes with these he will somehow find his way to nibble around the edges of the harness and tear through it. (We’ve been through 3 harnesses) Anyways, I wish it were a little easier to out on with the clip that has to go through the strap but I guess thats why he is so secure. Still would recommend this product though as its better than collars for dogs throats!sarah.a

I ordered this harness to replace the generic one I use to take my dog lake swimming. There's several things I really like about it. For one, it's essentially water proof and dries almost instantly. This is perfect for my dog who is a grooming breed prone to matted fur under her harness. The other thing I really like about it is the bright color. It's easy to spot even when the water is murky. All around, I'd highly recommend for a dog that likes to get wet.Bethany S
This harness is pretty water proof (doesn’t get soaked when wet like most harnesses), and I like the connection point on the top of it. I used it for my dog that I use a long lead on during hikes, and having the top hook keeps the the leash from getting stuck underneath her a lot. You have to be weary that dogs don’t step or back out of harnesses like this just FYI though. The other thing I noticed is that because of the material, it could rub on shorter haired dogs and cause some skin irritation. The dog I had it on is an Akita, so she didn’t have any problems. I did think it might cause probably for my other dog though who has a much shorter coat. Overall, I like this harness as an extra tool for hiking with my pups that makes the trip a little easier!Emily C
The first one I bought broke immediately. Just like the other reviewers said, the clip does break easily. I did exchange it for a new one and it has not broken yet, but I am scared it will Everytime I unhook it. It is super cute on my pup though and I will enjoy it until it breaks again. The rubber coating though is also very easy to come off. My dog chewed on it for just a moment and it peeled away.
