Bought this to sleep on the floor of a rustic cottage and it worked as expected. Quick inflation, about a minute, with my pump that came with my other Coleman mattress. Quite comfortable, didn't lose air overnight. As other reviewers have mentioned it does suck in the cold though so you'll want to put a blanket or a fleece sheet on it. My first night was a bit chilly but after that it was just fine. Recommend inflating it and leaving it inflated for a for a few days prior to use to help get that initial rubber smell out. I'm honestly surprised how sturdy this air bed feels. The vinyl feels very sturdy and it's comfortable to sleep on. I've been camping my entire life 30+ yrs. I've slept on the old super heavy rubber ones from the 80s to the super thin value brand ones and self inflating ones for back packing. It's an air bed so you shouldn't expect a 5 star experience…. one thing. The pump is garbage. This 4D pump barely blows it up. So don't buy it with the pump.Bunner

We bought this cot to have more space in our new Coleman blackout tent. Being off the ground and the ability to store stuff underneath is amazing!! The reviews were iffy but figured we would be fine. The mattress deflated all three nights during our first trip. We kept filling it up a few hours before bed. We have a toddler so we couldn't use the pump right before laying down. The pump that came with the system wasn't powerful enough to make the mattress firm anyways. There's a note on that mattress about air mattresses STRETCHing but there was no way the same amount of air was in the mattress from the night before. We bought a plug-in air pump for our second trip. It seemed to help initially. The mattress was firm at the beginning of the night but deflated every night. Finally on night 4, we decided to just use the cot. The cot is great. We can store items underneath and there's better air flow without the mattress in it. Although it was still loud when moving in bed. We backpack camped before our kid came along. We don't have expensive gear so spending a couple extra bucks on this luxury was a big deal to us. We will continue to use the cot since it's perfectly fine and better than an air mattress. My knocks on the cot are that it's loud when moving around, the frame doesn't lock and the bar down the middle of the bed (hit a head or back on that) Those items may not be an issue with a functional air mattress.Cecilia
We like to camp out so we bought the bed because it was off the ground and made it easier for my disabled husband to get on and off of it. The good parts were the frame seems durable and didn't tip over when you sat on the edge. Also the travel bag with wheels was a good idea. The bad things about it were the weak air pump and all the noise the bed frame made ANYTIME you moved on the bed. Nothing we could do to make it stop. There would be no happy fun time in the tent without the whole campground knowing about it. We are a long time customers of Coleman and I can't believe this noise issue wasn't notice in testing. Without any locks, I don't know how one person opens the otherwise sturdy frame without going crazy. It's almost impossible to get both sides open far enough at the same time to get it right side up before it snaps closed again. Each time I do it, it's some different way and I succeed by pure luck. We were so dissapointed in this product! We ordered this to replace an earlier model of this same product that we have had for 8 years (which only now had a leak in one of the mattresses after 8 years of moderate use during mission trips, camping, and overnight guests). We we so happy with the quality of the other and expected the same of this one but were mistaken. The first time we used it straight out of the box one of the mattresses already had a slow leak in it. Initially we believed that it was the material just stretching out during first use, but even after adding additional air 3 times, our overnight guest was practically on the floor by morning. There were other differences from the past model that we were not happy with as well. The material that it was made out of seems much thicker and more rigid than the past model which initially I thought was a good thing to make it more durable but obviously not. Also, when the mattresses are blown up, they are not as tall as the past model we owned. They seem fine when stacked together, but when used separately are very low to the ground. They also changed the way the mattresses attach when you stack them to hard plastic clips which seem like they could crack easily. We have always been satisfied with our past Coleman purchases, but feel that they really missed the mark with this updated product from past models.Glory

I slept on this air mattress for literally 2.5 months straight during an extended visit to my sister's. And let me tell you, I kinda missed it after I left. It was that comfortable. And it stayed inflated so well, I put a bit more air in it every couple weeks, but it really was just a bit. The only thing about it was that I had to put a blanket between me and the air mattress because it got cold from the bottom. I have a 40 lbs border collie mix. The medium bed is just a little smaller/ thinner than I was hoping for, but I think it will work for camping. My dog will lay on the ground, but she will usually try to squeeze onto my sleeping pad with me as the night progresses. Others have mentioned the soft cover is just a tad too small for the bed when the dog bed is inflated. When inflated and with or without the cover, the bed makes the loud ‘crunch’ sound that many inflated pads make when my dog lays on it or moves around on it. I started hammock sleeping and no longer had a good ground bed option for my large dog. I'm very exited to use this in the bwcaw next year. The inlet valve is high flow simple flap valve, and it fills very quickly. UnInflating takes a bit longer as you have to continually hit the flap with your finger to let air out. Packs up small and light like advertised. Fits in sleeve easily. Had it setup in the living room for 2 weeks and lost little or no air.Sara

This Coleman product started loosing air after the 4th use. I tried the recommended approach of topping off the air after 2 hours from filling because the mattress stretches (based on the product instructions). The mattress looses so much air at night that it’s uncomfortable and awkward to get in and out. I bought the product to replace and Aerobed that Inhad for almost 15 years. My Aerobed never leaked or lost air. I had to replace it after the valve finally failed. It’s very disappointing that this new Coleman Supportrest product is so bad that its unusable after only 4 uses. I absolutely wish I could find another Aerobed – it was the best air mattress ever – unlike this Supportrest mattress.JoFerg
There has to be some kind of defect in these mattresses. I’ve had to buy at least 2 mattresses every year because these mattresses don’t hold up. I don’t know if they’re made that way so you have to buy them every year or if the product is just a very poor quality period. I keep buying them becos they are the perfect, comfortable, camping mattress, there isn’t one better except they are only good for, at the most 2 uses. The price needs to be greatly reduced for just that fact. Hopefully Coleman can either reduce the price or really look into how to make that mattress better. I keep hanging in there hoping I’ll get one to at least make it for 3 or more camping trips!!BJBern
I absolutely love this airbed! I am happy that I had family visiting by the time I received this product since I was able to put it to use right away. The setup was super easy and the bed inflated quickly which was very nice. The height of the bed is perfect and makes it to where it doesn’t feel like you’re sleeping right on the floor, the bed is also very durable and seems to be made with a thick enough material to where I can feel confident that this will last me throughout the years. After blowing it up, I tested out how comfortable it was before letting my family sleep on it and man did I not want to move after laying down. The airbed was super comfortable and felt super cozy with pillows and a blanket. After greeting my family the next morning, I went to see how the airbed held up. I was very pleased that the bed looked the same as it did the night before and that it didn’t lose any air over the night from the weight of people laying on it. I have used this both for camping and to have guests stay on. I love that it is double high. It's relatively comfortable, and I haven't had issues with air leaking out. The power cord tucks away in a little compartment. My only issue with that is the cord barely fits and the little door to the compartment broke off. Also for camping, you'll either need a portable power source to plug into, or hope your campsite is equipped with power. Otherwise, you won't be able to use it.stefanie.c
PROs: Comes with the electric airpump with an easy to use port for inflation. Very comfortable and wider than other twins which helps you feel more stable. CONs: I've had TWO of these. Both have developed leaks in less than six months – actually both at about 5 months. On one I could not find the leak. On the second, I found two tiny holes on the top, felt side at the seam of one of the indented ovals … tiny, like a pinhole. Try as we may the holes will not hold a patch for more than one night, and really not even the entire night. (Yes, followed all the info available on the Net on how to patch an air mattress.) The first hole grew larger and larger until it was a one inch rip. i've tried the Intex twin however found the Coleman one so much more comfortable. I don't want to try another brand but can't keep throwing money out of the airhole. Warranty is useless because you'd have to pay for insurance and return shipping. This mattress is not cheap to ship. And Walmart's return policy is 30 days so that's not helpful to me either.Vickie
The quality was really good and the built in pump makes it even more desirable for camping. However by the second night we were having to continue putting air into it to keep it inflated. I've slept on the old super heavy rubber ones from the 80s to the super thin value brand ones and self inflating ones for back packing. Pull the pack out to inflate, push it in to stop. Still hunting for another in hopes this is a minor defect. Colman has always been my go to for camping stuff, hope that that doesn't change. Bought this to sleep on the floor of a rustic cottage and it worked as expected. Quick inflation, about a minute, with my pump that came with my other Coleman mattress. Quite comfortable, didn't lose air overnight. As other reviewers have mentioned it does suck in the cold though so you'll want to put a blanket or a fleece sheet on it. My first night was a bit chilly but after that it was just fine. Recommend inflating it and leaving it inflated for a for a few days prior to use to help get that initial rubber smell out. I have had a few different sized Coleman air mattresses. I love these mattresses because they come with a pump to help them blow up, and a valve that makes it easy to deflate, they fold up nice and easy and you can tuck them away. I have tried other air mattresses in the past and they always pop super easy. But not the Coleman! They have this felt sort of material lining the top which makes them soft and not slippery. Bought this a few weeks ago (my first high rise air matress), I had read that it is normal for the matress to stretch so I inflated it at home (fairly fast with built-in pump) and re-inflated to very firm 3 times over 4-5 days without using it. Deflated it using the built-in pump deflate function and packed it easily in the bag. Inflated in camping using a portable battery-powered 120V inverter and only had to run the pump twice for a few seconds after sleeping on it the first 2 nights (2 adults approx 360Lbs total). The corners deflate a little but it's written that this is normal since the material does expand but rest assured that this has absolutely no consequence on the firmness. I bought this mattress because my brother has a similar coleman mattress that he purchased 10 years ago and is still very satisfied with his. Hopefully I'll say the same in 10 years or more. I then went to various other brands before settling on Coleman. I might add here that I sleep on my mattress every night at home. I found Coleman to be extremely comfortable, more so than all the others, right off the bat. I also looked into Sleep Number beds and found that they couldn't hold a candle to the comfort I experienced with my Coleman on a nightly basis. I might add here that I have been dealing with a deteriorating hip socket for the last 14 years. I have noticed a distinct improvement in the comfort I experience while sleeping on my Coleman since I permanently changed from a standard mattress to the air mattress world (be it any brand,) but the Coleman has been the best in construction and longevity. I might also add here, that this time around I also bought the mattress pad made by the My Pillow people for added pressure relief for my hip. That was also a very wise decision.Deneen

The bed is well made, washable and durable. But it stays "inflated" to the point that my dog is afraid to step on it. The inner filling creates an air pocket and the solution to making the air pocket deflate is to leave the zipper open and push out the air. But as soon as I zip it back up, the air pocket is there again. Not sure the answer but my big dog doesn't like the instability or wobble created by displacing the air pocket. I put a different filling inside and the problem resolved.Robyn S

Our puppy loves her waterproof round dog bed! At first, I was worried because she dug at it repeatedly. I thought she was going to ruin it quickly. Nope! It's find and she eventually stopped the digging. You can see some of her nail marks but maybe those will disappear when washed. If they don't, it's fine—I was just thrilled there was no hole from her! She naps on it daily on our breezeway and I don't need to worry about it getting moldy when it gets rained on. She also loves jumping down on it when she has gotten herself on our bench and isn't sure how to get down. Great product! Very happy with the brown color.Anonymous
