I abdolutely feel in love with this harness (by far the easiest to get onto my puppy). I love is so much that I jought 6 of them in the past 4 months. Why did I need to buy so many one may ask…becauae that is how many the puppy chewed through in that period of time. I ended up switching brands after the 6th one. Great fitting harness and the adjustable neck section is great . I've had other harnesses in the past and whilst they fit my English Staffordshire around the body I found they got to a point where they were difficult to get on and off over his big lump of a head . I have a 70lb Xoloitzcuintli (Mexican Hairless). I purchased both the Hurtta Cooling Coat and the Swamp Cooler Dog Vest by Ruffwear. Both are made from similar material and work the same way. The Hurtta coat has much more coverage, has extended hind end flaps and front chest flaps, resembles a horse jacket. Whereas the Ruffwear is more of a fitted vest. I would have given the Hurtta Cooling Coat 5 stars however, the stitching that secured the chest strap isn't reinforced and tore out of the material the first time used. I then outfitted the dog in the Ruffwear Swamp Vest, which worked beautifully. Since my dog is hairless it was easy to feel how well the vest worked. Placing my hand on exposed skin, then touching skin under the vest, there was a noticeable difference in temperature however his skin was dry – just cooler. I have stitched the Hurtta strap back on and feel it will be equally as good if not better than the Ruffwear due to it's increased surface area.Laura
Got a *very similar* Puppia mesh harness for my chi that was adjustable on the shoulders rather than pulling over her head. The harness was comfortable on her and held up well, but the buckles on the shoulders just made it too bulky. So I would definitely recommend the ones without the extra buckles.

The material is soft, but thick and durable, and double-stitched so securely that the material would likely rip before the seams holding the (what appears to be stainless steel) rings. In other words, this harness can hold up to a ton of abuse and still look/function like new. Very nice Harness! The harness is very well made and a beautiful shade of bright blue….like the shade of blue you see with Duke University or University of Kentucky colors. The size XS is for a very small pet. The measurements are stated to fit a pet 11-15 inches in chest girth and approximately 5-10 pounds. For reference, I have a Cornish Rex cat. She is 15 years old and very thin. She weighs approximately 4 pounds. The harness fits her pretty well. I took a few pictures so you can see how cute she is in it and I do not have the adjustments as small as it could go. I finally found the perfect harness for walking my dog! My dog Daisy always pulls when I take her for walks. She pulls so hard that she starts coughing and choking. I love this mixing leash and harness set! It is really cute and soft. I was very impress that it was labeled with the different body parts. Which makes putting it on your dog a piece of cake. This was my first time ever using a harness with the loop in the front of the chest. It's perfect for training dogs of all ages to walk properly on a leash. My fur baby is not a fan of the leash and as you can see. He is a puller and he don't like that I can change his direction to whatever I am going. I decided to get this PetSafe – Easy Walk® Chic Designer Harness & Leash for my Ragdoll. His name is Cushy Meow and I only let him go out of the house on the deck so he can walk around with out running off somewhere. I got the blue one with the little bones to match his beautiful blue eyes. He looks very handsome in it. It fits perfectly as he weighs about 16 lbs, so I ended up getting a size small. I finally found the perfect harness for walking my dog! My dog Daisy always pulls when I take her for walks. She pulls so hard that she starts coughing and choking. She does the with both leashes and traditional harnesses. The Easy Walk Harness has changed that. She no longer pulls or chokes on walks. I cannot believe I finally found something that works! I got the dark purple and they are beautiful. I have two Crocker Spaniels. Both girls have a wide chest but a short back so they can be difficult to get things to fit correctly. These work great if you need a little room to play with the size because the top closes with velcro and then a clasp. If you're dog pulls these feel really solid. Overall they are well put together and the colors are eye catching. When I take both girls to the dog park in their matching harnesses I always get asked about where I got them and what colors do they have!!
I have 4 of these harnesses from a few years ago and loved them. I decided to order 2 more… Unfortunately the new ones all gape at the neck terribly! Even pulling it back more so it’s flat on the neck first doesn’t work as it won’t close the Velcro and then the arm holes rub under the armpits. I realized they changed the arm holes slightly (by overlaying it onto my old ones) and it’s thrown off the whole pattern. They are now useless. So Disappointing since all else is perfect- quality, price, patterns. Try the “Wrap & Snap” instead, it fits great and is nice for summer as there’s no extra fabric on the back.Dog Mom

Four of my dogs are huge beasts that have special harnesses that they wear when I take them for a walk; it allows me to feel confident that they are under control (especially if they see a cat roaming around) and I know that even if they start pulling on the leash they aren't going to get the air choked out of them. For my small dog I needed something that he wouldn't be able to wiggle out of; he is a true escape artist and this harness is the only one that he has never been able to get out of when we've been on walks. It is soft and comfortable on his body and he still has a full range of motion when it is on him; getting it on and off of him takes about a minute if he isn't jumping around and excited when he sees me pull it out of the hall closet. One of the best things about this harness is that I don't have to take his neck collar off when I put this on him; he still has his registration and vet tags on him so if he should happen to pull a disappearing act at least I know that if someone finds him they will know that he is indeed a pet and not a stray. I originally got this in gray but opted to get a second one in orange so that he is easier to spot if we go for a walk in the evening. If I am walking to the store in the evening I usually put the orange one on him so I can see exactly where he is in relation to my feet so I don't accidentally step on him. The harnesses are machine washable and have help up perfectly since I got them. I know that when he is wearing one there's almost no chance that he will be able to wiggle his way out of it and that when he starts pulling on the leash when he gets excited he isn't putting undue pressure on his neck or throat.AlexFortune
We have five small dogs and all of them love this harness. When I found these online I was so excited to find a harness that is designed with both comfort and function in mind. These harness are so much nicer for the dogs to wear. The soft fabric and the shape of the harness is much more comfortable for our dogs to wear then the thin harnesses you find in the store. The thinner harnesses would cut into our dogs armpits and cause discomfort. These harnesses provide nothing but comfort. Another plus for the Puppia harness is how easy it is to put on and take off. Our dogs basically step right into them on their own. With regular harnesses they are tight and we have to battle with them. The fabric is breathable and light allowing airflow but they are also sturdy and keep the dogs secure. The only problem that we face with them is the non adjustable neck. Although the chest can be tightened the neck cannot so if you have a dog that is in between sizes you have to go up a size and the neck is a bit big. This is the case for two of our dogs. Where is it not a problem for one of them the other one tends to get her leg through her neck and eventually make her way out of it. That is the only down side I have for these harnesses. If you plan on getting one measure your dog carefully and enjoy choosing one out from all of the amazing colors and patterns! There are so many great choices it is hard for me to resist buying several for each of our dogs 🙂trinnym

I purchased this for my 6 month old, 26lb rescue pup a few weeks ago to replace a different brand she outgrew. She loved her new harness and I admit that it appeared to be very comfortable. However, she pulled while we were walking yesterday and the straps snapped. She ran into the street, but thankfully no vehicles were nearby. The straps are flimsy and will not stand up to a quick pull. My pup is very petite, and I still can't believe how easily the straps ripped. I can't recommend this at all. I've just purchased a new secure, double stitched reinforced harness that also has metal rings instead of the plastic on the Gooby.Katie Ge
We originally had a size small when Missie was heavier. Now that she’s a proper weight we needed the XS because she could slip out of the small. We wanted to stay with this one and couldn’t find anything we liked better, we didn’t want any straps rubbing on her skin. The XS is perfect! I've had this harness for maybe 4 months now and at first I loved it, besides the plastic loops…they make me nervous that they're going to snap because my dog is a puller. On our normal walks this harness has been fine because my dog does pull so she is almost always in front of me. Today we went to the park and she wrapped the leash around a pole and was able to very easily pull her way out of it. Thankfully there were no other dogs around and I was able to catch her within a few minutes but my dog is dog reactive so this would have been an absolute disaster if there were other dogs around. Very disappointed because now I have to buy another harness to prevent this for the future.Samg1015

Bought this for my pom Jacob. Needed a trachea friendly harness. Had the right measurements, it fit around his body but not his neck. He's a puppy mill rescue so he has a lot of fears. He didn't like it going over his head or how it constricted his shoulders. It even looked uncomfortable. However, I liked the one I got my Max so much, I got one in red for Jacob and that one was a hit! I wouldn't recommend this item for a fluffy dog but maybe on a short coated dog it would be ok.Christa G
I love the fact that this harness is very lightweight and easy to put on. My dog's neck measured 12 inches and his girth measured 20 inches, his weight is 22 pounds, so I bought the large. The harness fits very nicely. I also noticed that my dog is much more calmer when walking, and he does not pull like he did with his collar and leash. Very pleased with this product!

I really liked this when I first fitted it on my cairn terrier. I had it snug around his tummy and the front velcro was secure. On our first outing he took off after a bunny and the velcro just busted open and he came right out of the harness. I'm lucky he ran into some bushes and not into traffic. When our dog outgrew here last harness, I wanted something that was durable and had the ability to add patches as she is still in training and has social anxiety. We love to hike, but was discouraged by most of the harnesses we purchased in the past as they would just slide around and my dog didn't like using them.
