My cat has had repeated uti's involving emergency vet visits and a lot of stress. When the antibiotic wears off, the infection returns. I was at Petco on Sunday and saw this product and decided to buy it in case there was another infection. My cat had a crisis 2 days later with very extreme symptoms. I gave her 5 drops and noticed no change. So I did it again in 15 minutes and she began to calm down. Then she sat quietly for awhile and then went upstairs to sleep under my bed for the rest of the day. The next day she acted like nothing had happened. I was amazed! Time will tell if she will have more problems, but this is way better than dragging her crying to the vet, if I can even find a vet who will see her the same day. While I am not really one to normally write a review, I research other reviews diligently and thought it was time I started- especially to brag on this product and hopefully help someone else. Case: Mittens is a 3 year old female never with any previous UTI issues, Food: ate frisky crunchies and was happy, Fast forward to 2 months ago- she started with always being wet on her bottom. It kind of threw me off because I thought it could be a problem with her rear and not bladder, it progressed to constant going in litter box and barely having anything come out. Through this time 700. was spent at vet, ultrasounds, urinalysis' , lab testing, all showing nothing but antibiotics were administered as it was obvious something was wrong. The vet was insistent about stress thought I was skeptical as absolutely zero had changed in our household and buying the 50. food just was not an expense I was ready to do at that moment. The antibiotics has slight improvement but never fixed the issue. Mittens also has to be put under aneasthesia every time we go as she is very sweet, but not a good patient. During this time I was also an my witts end not wanting to put her thru another battery of testing and my house issue. In that I mean everywhere she went she would leave wet spots and a terrible smell which simply could not go on. So I went to do what you have done if you are here, online research and came across this product. I ordered it and went to bed as it was late and would be ready for pick up the next morning. I was hopeful and excited that this could be 'it'- a cure. So we picked it up and went to work. I followed dosing as directed for an acute condition as that is what we had. I had to administer via wet food because a syringe simply does not work with her. We did 10 drops every 15 minutes for the first hour and went on as directions said the whole time via food, 2nd day three times a day 10 drops each meal, and 3rd day back to initial dosing of 10 drops every 15 minutes for the first hour and 2 more times that day. I was not seeing the 'immediate result' some people had at that point. I will also say I was feeding her uti proplan wet food only during this time. We started Sunday morning and I did not notice relief until Tuesday evening- We were getting a stream of urine. I was so happy I could cry! Now we are at Thursday and we seem to be almost normal. Absoulutely AMAZING, have patience this stuff works! I am going to continue dosing twice a day and maybe even once a day for prevention going forward. I am also going to find some uti dry food, most likely Purina One uti to keep with prevention as that is my motivation going forward. Cannot be happier with the $6 price tag and the miracle inside. I got this after I noticed my kitty using her litter box repeatedly and licking herself constantly. I added it to her water yesterday and today and have been giving her the drops directly in her mouth. It’s easiest for me to hold the bottle in front of her until she starts biting on the nozzle… every few bites it gets deep enough to squeeze and spray… and viola! She almost seems to like it. It's very distressing to find 3 happy engorged ticks on your dog 24 hours after treatment following all the requirements re: proper placement location on the dog, shaved the hair to make contact only on the skin, no water on the dog for 24 hours or at all after treatment. I was frankly, pretty shocked. This is an older small dog with arthritis. He is already in some pain and to find the ticks on him on top of this frankly really upset me. I breed Chihuahuas and I also foster cats/kittens. My Chihuahuas are litter box trained so they rarely get fleas because they dont spend a whole lot of time outside. Even when we go for walks, theyre in a dog stroller lol. Anyways… I fostered a litter of kittens that were found outside and covered in fleas. I gave them all dawn baths because they were too small for any flea medicine and my Chihuahuas ended up with fleas. I needed a product that was safe for pregnant/ nursing mama which frontline is. Finally something that works consistently. After trying probably 10-15 brands of flea and tick stuff for my Dogs this is the company I come back to. Ive tried expensive stuff, Ive tried dirt cheap stuff. This works and works FAST. I actually have to put my dogs out if they have fleas on them at all. Within 30 minutes they are jumping off to get away and die. Weve had issues with super fleas here in northeast USA where the only thing Ive found to work is old fashion dawn dish soap and salt.Ive literally spread salt on all my floors so it looks like snow and left it sit over night then vacuum it up and then mop with dawn dish soap, everyday for over a week straight. This stuff not only took care of the fleas on the dogs and cats but the ones in the house would jump on the dogs would die to. Havent had an issue since.Corvet08

I had high hopes for this collar as my older dog has a chronic condition and we are all very tired of his cone bumping into all of us and the whole house, and so is he. But, despite measuring and it appearing to fit exactly as described in the instructions, he had NO TROUBLE getting to the growth on his underside. Complete waste of time and money. He may as well be wearing a sock. We tightened everything to the point of it being uncomfortable for the dog and still he just reaches around like its nothing. I love these collars as they do not freak my dogs out and they still can drink or eat while wearing it. Definitely better than a traditional E- collar. This was used on a front leg with a cut on a Rhodesian Ridgeback. I've also used it for spays and neuters.Tami P.

The Bite Not collar slowed my pup down from licking his neutering surgery, but didn’t entirely stop it. He is very flexible, so could wrap himself around to lick. The collars are very well made. I had to use one size larger to control his movements better than the right sized one. We bought two, one for our larger dog. Use the cone of shame in his cage for the night. I was under the impression of a residual kill from the description I read. I have to spray the barn and bedding daily to keep the fly population down. If I hit the flies with the spray then they will die. If the spray dries and then they land on it they will survive. I'm going to mix it stronger the next batch. It does work but you just need to keep spraying.Matt H

I was on frontline for years but when I thought I saw a couple fleas on my dogs in September 2020, I decided to make a switch to Advantage II for my cats and Advantix II for my dogs— BIGGEST mistake of my life (seriously, like over any horrible exes). I have $515.97 in receipts I submitted to the company (which was as horrible as the experience, which I will get to) and spent an additional $70 in store (in which I cannot find the receipt) since September 2020 to December. I followed every tip on the website and insert and my animals were still covered. I applied perfectly. I applied initially weekly, vacuum daily, steam cleaned, wash bedding constantly, etc. I don’t even have carpet but on the stairs and have treated the stairs and couches with Predcor. I even bought those flea traps with the sticky bottoms. I am not including any of this in that total I spent– that was all on the flea medications themselves for the 6 animals. I have saved some, not all, of the vials so on 11/13 I called Elanco. They denied my request for any type of refund. They questioned my exact dosage dates and frequency more than a doctor wants to know about your menstrual cycles but I took my best guesses, for all 6 animals although I did know what schedule they were on but didn't have it in front of me. Then they said that the product was probably not working because I bathed my dogs initially at the beginning 48 hours before application?? Their website TELLS you to bathe them before application (see 2nd screenshot posted)! I stopped bathing them after the 2nd application as it wasn't working and the dogs were miserable and only tried 2 cats (and really only 1 successfully because we all know how that goes). They then told me that I didn't give the product long enough?? Their website states (see 3rd screenshot) and is the same for Advantage II "K9 Advantix® II kills fleas within 12 hours. New fleas that jump on the dog from the surroundings, such as grass, carpet and pet bedding, are killed within 2 hours with protection against further infestation for at least 4 weeks." I tried their products, $600 worth on 6 animals, as scheduled, no missed doses for 4 months. I can’t blame it on just one animal or one batch—it didn’t work on 6, or one batch! I am very upset. Not only have I wasted money on these but I have bought corresponding products, sprays for the beddings, flea traps, etc. I FINALLY called Terminex and had to spend 12 hours clearing out under my beds, closets, getting everything off my floors, moving furniture etc. (time I will never get back) and getting my children and pets out of the house and went back to the brand that works: FRONTLINE! NO MORE FLEAS– what I should have done in the first place. I am so upset not by the fact that the product didn't work but by the way the company handled it, dodging any responsibility from blaming it on the baths they recommend to the length of time I gave it when they could have just refunded me and had someone that isn't going to not only post this review every place I bought it (not just here) but every other place that allows a review to include social media.Intelhottie

We bought Advantix liquid application anti-flea and tick treatment because it is effective, was less expensive and did not require a prescription. We had easily and successfully used liquid Advantix for years with our Plott hound mix. We now have a beagle. Beagle hair is different; it's thick, coarse, oily, kind of water proof and difficult to part in order to properly apply the liquid to the skin. Advantix is a very good product, but pet owners may want to assess their pet's coat to determine how the liquid application could be applied.Gary

My dog was getting ticks so I purchased this. I have used it in the past with great success when it had the Bayer logo on it . The one I received has the Elanco brand logo on it. I used 1 bottle and It was like I used nothing at all. Mind you I walk my dog and when he comes in the house I would find 2 or 3 live ticks walking on him. So I figured ok maybe it didnt work or I didnt wait long enough. After about 10 days of this I applied another bottle and again nothing. He still kept coming in the house with ticks every time. So I'm not sure exactly what's going on but the package I received appeared to be authentic. All serial numbers matched and packages were sealed well. It helped soothe the itching from eczema but it was drying even with the oils. so it didn't last long but this is not what it was made for. I had tried everything for my toddler and gave this a try because it was so bad. It helped for a little while but it dried the area out which is the opposite of what helps ezcema. I finally found Working Hands itch relief lotion to soothe and reduce it. This is still great to have for mosquito/bug bites. I still carry it just in case.emee

We love the After Bite brand! So when I learned they had a kid line I had to try it. My son gets welps from bug bites and breaks out terribly. Diluted to 0.5% and used as an outdoor spray, seems to have stopped ants after a couple days of spraying a perimeter around the house. Not great for use indoors as the smell is quite strong (sort of a petroleum/diesel smell). This is the same active ingredient used in tent sprays and for certain human and dog conditions. Follow directions carefully. Dilute carefully and do not use near bees to protect their colonies.FRANK

Used as a wipe on horse spray and did not stop flies at all. Then soaked the horses down spraying so then the flies all went to attacking the eyes of the horses because you cannot put the spray in their eyes but just wipe around the eyes and this does not stop the flies as Pyranha does. I can wipe around their eyes with Pyranha and the flies do not try to get to the eyes. Using this spray they keep attacking their eyes so I quit using it and threw the rest away and went back to the reliable Pyranha.robtbel

Purchased this for the 2nd time and the content was completely different from the first bottle. 2nd bottle had a very strong, pungent chemical smell that was overwhelming as well as having the consistency of water (normally, it has a mild smell and is syrupy), which made it hard to mix with. The company did refund me, after a explanation of their vendor may have changed the content, which I responded that that was not a good excuse. Strangely, the caps were crudely wrapped in box tape, which made it suspicious since the content was completely different, despite the fact it was from the same manufacturer. I am hoping this is just a isolated incident, as the first bottle was very good.Neil

I recently was looking for a good shampoo for my dog and settled on the John Paul Pet Oatmeal Shampoo. This shampoo is for both dogs and cats. It is a 16 ounce bottle, the scent I got was the [oatmeal. I really like these shampoos are tested on humans first! Not on our cute furry friends! This shampoo has a nice subtle smell which fades nicely after a few days and keeps your furry friend soft and clean. I found that it definitely keeps their coat soft and doesn't dry out their skin. If your dog is suffering from chronic skin allergies or infections this will not cure that! It is only good for soft fur and good smelling, clean pets! Take your pet to your vet regularly for skincare maintenance. This shampoo is pretty good so far and I would definitely recommend it to others!Athena

I have tried every flea med on the market and Advecta is the only one he hasn't had any type of reaction to!! Since using Advecta he has stopped all chewing and the constant scratching, he has a beautiful coat. I usually apply every 25 days because between the first application and second was 30 days and I did find a couple fleas but that's not a biggy. I hate flies and our area seems to have a lot! I always dread having BBQs and dealing with the fly problem. Usually that means putting the food inside and having people get their food from there and going outside to eat. I like the fact that this product doesn't involve any pesticides as we have a lot of wildlife in our backyard. At first, I had it hanging near the sliding glass door in the covered patio. It didn't seem to help much. I moved it to a different area that had more light and that did the trick. Flies are attracted to light so keep that in mind. Love the color!Mellow Yellow

I was not all to happy with having to assemble such a product, when comparing multiple other brands on the market that are application ready; as too the advertisement of it being all natural, which simply should state “fly paper”. Some reason flies hang out in my garage by my entrance door to the house. I can’t figure out why it’s been this way for years. Everything is clean nothing dead anywhere etc. Nothing smells no garbage nothing that’s why I can’t figure out why. Why right there. The only thing that is there is a step up basically a 4ftx4ft platform into the house and it’s moveable so I have checked under it for anything that would attract them. People say could be they want in the cool air inside house idk I just don’t get it. So I purchase 2 of these. I’ve tried everything. I’ve done the bags before but they smelled so bad and disgusting. I guess no fly trap is glamorous tho. When I first got them I hung them right by my problem area one up high and one low (with the guards on it my dogs could still sniff it and didn’t have to worry about it sticking to anybody or anything) and then nothing for like month so I’m thinking what a waste of money. But then one day BAM it just started filling up. So I started moving it away from my door towards the big garage door entrance (so in the middle of my garage) hoping that they would follow it and get them before they get to the door and it has worked so far. Still afew get by but nothing like before at all. I’m not yelling hurry close the door before the flies get in anymore. Yes it looks so gross but I’ve hung it high enough about at 6.5 ft. So that you only see it if you look up I have one on each side and it’s still collecting them. Apparently as I have Noticed once one fly lands and is stuck the other flies hear it and go to investigate it then they get stuck. So you can still hear them which is gross but better than fighting them off to get in my house. There is no smell either. I have asked people that don’t live here if they can smell anything and the answer is always no.Would I purchase again? Absolutely and now I know to give it time it will work. I used this product this last season for my dog and he never got flees. I feel so much better using natural stuff than chemicals on him. It was very affordable. It has a very strong scent at first but the scent does lighten up after a day or two. I would recommend this to anyone with dogs.katrina .s

I am not someone who takes my dogs health lightly. I try to use natural products as much as possible. We had a tick outbreak and everything I tried did not work. I bought these drops for all the dogs. Put it on. Took about 3 days to completely soak into the coat but ticks have been unable to attach which is great. Over the last few days there have been less and less. These drops along with Diatomaceous Earth spread around the corners of the house and all the beds is doing the trick. I bought this product earlier this week. I read the instructions and made sure that my dog met the weight requirements for the product. It worked the first day. She stopped itching and biting. If you don't want bugs eating your clothes you put them in a CEDAR closet. Ce DS ar wood has oil, cinnamon oil and clove oil are also natural bug deterrents. Oatmeal is a skin helper. This shampoo is like water because it is made of oils mixed in water to help you disperse it along your pets hair. It leaves a beautiful smell. The lather everyone wants to see is what irritates your animals skin and dries it out. Dogs have allergies to grass and pollen as well as bugs. The oatmeal will help with that and having oils as the other ingredients helps too. Just like a human. The drier your skin the more you itch. Don't freak out over the lack of lather. Start at the head and work your way down. Comb it through with your fingers. It won't hurt the animal if you aren't a good rinser like it does with regular shampoo. That residual shampoo hurts their skin. This one nourishes the skin.Bella

I have a dog who I got from a woman who did not treat him great. He came flea ridden, and I tried other flea shampoos and nothing worked well. He started to lose his fur because if how bad the fleas were, then I tried natural chemistry deflea. I literally watched as the fleas fell from his coat dead and ran down the drain! It was amazing!! And it left his coat so soft! I also used the bedding product and after I week I couldn't find any more living fleas, just their l lifeless bodies.
