Bionic Bone Dog Toy For Sale (2024 Update)

I bought both of my dogs this toy when we brought them home. Either of them have yet to destroy it and they've had them for about a year now. This is one of the only bones that has lasted this long with no cracks or anything! The only problem I have is the fabric loops on these. We cut them off right away because the dogs were ripping at them and we were afraid they would come off and the dogs would eat them. Apart from the fabric loops, this toy has last and is great! It also doesn't hurt if you step on it!annie.s

I buy this Chew toy for my puppy about every month. He is 9 months old Havanese and he has very sharp teeth. Always needs to chew. He loves this and the rubbery feel is great for him. Does not break easily. The material ties however do come off easily. You have to watch them.Blue rubber bone chew

This was the first toy I ever bought for my chihuahua yorkie mix and he loved it. In fact, at almost 2 years old, he still plays with this toy! It's a durable material that is flexible but strong. My puppy has been playing with this toy for almost 2 years and there's barely any teeth marks in it. This toy definitely helped him while he was losing his puppy teeth and teething with his adult teeth because of the gummy nature of the material. The toy is a plastic-ish material that is easy to clean regularly. I have no complaints whatsoever.abby.s

My golden LOVES this toy. The center is softer and more narrow, so he is able to hold onto it while he goes to town. This toy can definitely live up to its claims, and he hasn’t been able to destroy it like he has other chew toys. This is great for leaving with your dog if they are an anxious chewer. This toy was labeled as the strongest in the series claiming it would hold up to the toughest chewers, so we were excited to give it a try! Unfortunately, this toy didn’t even last 5 minutes with our dog. She is a tough chewer, but within minutes the toy was chipping away all over the place and we had to quickly take it away as we noticed it was making her gums bleed. It seemed like a great toy, and our dog loved it, but I wouldn’t recommend to anyone who has a dog who likes to chew.emily.m

When we first brought home our rescue English Bulldog Stella we brought her to the pet store and let her pick out something just for her. It turns out our 2 Boxers were constantly stealing it from her. It was so tough and durable to her aggressive chewing and doubly impressed it stood up to the Boxers who can destroy almost any toy in minutes. My better half never wanted a Nylabone toy in the house. When we checked out the writing on Stellas we were surprised to see Nylabone printed on it. He now has no problem with me purchasing other products. In short if it can entertain my pack for hours and stand up to their destructive chewing it could stand up to most all dogs.Stellasmom88

We gave it to our 10 year old cavoodle, she is not a chewer. The material is too soft for a dog that chews. But overall great product we put food in it and freeze it for our dog and we wash the quest bone in the dishwasher. Is not big enough for a full meal even in the large size but still overall great. I would not give as a toy without food in it.Krisztina

Have one and could not find another anywhere — in store or on line Pet Stores. So glad eBay ad them. Put cheese in it and keeps our schnauzer busy for 15-20 minutes — enough time for us to eat lunch or supper. BE SURE TO CLEAN WELL — you. don't want any cheese left in —- almost never happens but clean after each use with soap and water, rinse well. You don't want your fur baby getting sick. I bought the small size for my groodle because last time I bought a large kong product it was hugeee, this one is quite the opposite. It is TINY!! I'd image the only breed of dogs the small would suit is very small-small breeds, like cavaliers, toy breeds, terriers, chihuahuas, etc. I wish I had this advice for myself. I could not find any in a physical store so took a punt here and definitely wish I'd bought the large. If you have a medium to large breed dog i.e. anything aussie shepherd and bigger, go for the large with these even if you only want it as a small snack size treat dispenser toy.Rue

My dog is a heavy chewer, so I thought this would provide long lasting entertainment. However, the dog sniffed the Nylabone very briefly and then ignored it completely, despite me offering it several times. In the meantime I have read several horror stories where dogs have ended up in surgery after ingesting fragments of a Nylabone, so I count myself lucky that my dog wasn't interested. If yours is, I would recommend very close supervision during chewing sessions.juttacampbell

My dogs (ages 9, 7 & 3) have been raised on Nylabone DuraChews (the "Souper" size). After my 9-year-old sustained a slab fracture to the fourth premolar while chewing one (the vet later determined the fracture to be the Nylabone "finishing off" an already cracked tooth), I thought maybe it was time to switch to a softer chew. We've always used & love Nylabones, have only ever tried the DuraChews, & have been pleased with how long-lasting they are. My youngest dog regularly chews all of the DuraChews down to points. Upon the recommendation of friends & our vet, we decided to try the FlexiChew. The idea is that the chew should be "soft" enough that a person can make a mark in it with their thumbnail. These fit the bill. I think maybe my 7-year-old, 90lb Rhodesian Ridgeback, NEVER an avid chewer, might even enjoy them more. The girls are ACDs, enjoy chewing routinely & can consume a large elk antler in an hour if allowed. They still go for the Durachew, but are warming up to these.JKMC

I like everything about this Nylabone Moderate Flexchew. It is not real hard and very flexible. I have a Rotweiler/Lab/Boxer mix and he chews on everything except hard bones. He prefers the softer chew bones. When he feels anxious and has nervous energy, he will chew on one of these bones instead of chewing up shoes or anything else he is not supposed to chew on. I will be ordering more of these bones because you cannot find them everywhere.snow6716

Our 80 lb dog LOVES it. It is one of the few toys she does not try to chew out of existence but treats it more like her doll. A big bonus, it is easy to spot on the floor, but if you do step on it it is not legoesk. It works for our household.bubbins1976

it's ok , but disagree with it being suitable for extreme chewers – my 5 year old lab chewed big bits off it within a few minutes ! However he loves the different shape of it to play with . So it's ok but doesnt last very long at all. Better for lighter chewers!judches-72

Been through dozens of dog chew bones over the years for my big dogs, and this is the ONLY one that holds up. My German Shepherd and Rottweiler LOVE them. The bones bounce, float and stand up to intense chewing. I will never buy another brand again!Kathy

I misjudged the size of the toy, so the fault is my own and unfortunately a little too big for my small/medium dogs and (at the moment) rubber toys are not their go to. I have a little 30 lb. lab mix that can tear through the average dog toy easily. He's an intense chewer and will play with a toy for up to 15-20 minutes at a time. But this Megalast Bone has lasted for a month so far while many others went to the trash within days. And it still looks like I bought it yesterday! It's very chewy and yet firm rubber too. He loves it. One thing I think the pics don't show is that one side is smooth but the back side has a bunch of deep grooves where you can insert treats. Keeps him very busy. This bone is excellent. My 6 mo english bulldog loves it. You can't see it in the pictures but the bottom side has deep ridges for great chewing grip. This is the toy that finally got those baby teeth loose and out. My pup chooses this over all his previous favorites. It is flexible yet very tough. He hasn't put any holes in it yet and he chews with purpose! Had this about 3 weeks and I love it! Wish I had bought more. Made in the USA with quality! Great product.R1o2s3e4

It’s the only toy my 7 yr old cocker plays with. He has 6 of them & I ordered new ones to replace the ones that lost their squeak. I always picked them up in the store but they were out so I ordered 4. I’m holding 2 for later. Hope they don’t get discontinued. This toy is as good as the more expensive bomber toys I buy at the pet store. My blue heeler cattle dog can chew through anything – and does!! This one actually took a little longer than most. Bought this a month ago, normally my dog has a toy chewed apart in less then 5 minutes, not this one. He loves the squeak, tries to chew but cannot tear apart. Carries around the house, tosses and kicks it for the noise. Dog is 12 years old and this is only the 2nd toy he didn’t completely ruin.Shiloh

I have a jack Russell with razor blade teeth and this is the only toy I can find that lasts more then 10 minutes. The record is 4 months with the crunchcore bone. Excellent value for money. Although designed for larger dogs this is the ideal size to play tug with because he can't accidently catch my fingers. When thrown it bounces unpredictably and he has so much fun twisting and turning, leaping to catch it before it lands. An excellent all rounder as it provides cardiovascular and agility. Also comfort when he just wants to sit under the table and have a quiet chew. I love it and so does Samjoy4eva-2008

I bought this toy for my medium mutt Luna as a celebration for graduating obedience classes 4 months ago. Luna is a power chewer and the bone is still in almost perfect condition! The only thing that has changed about the bone is the clear part of the bone discolours to be a murky yellow. If you don't mind some simple discolouration I highly recommend this toy!Faith M

My mixed breed rescue, 45 lbs., loves to chew on bones and toys. I needed something quiet for her to play with in the evening at bedtime as we are trying to go to sleep. This toy makes a quiet rustling sound but does not squeak. The outside is very durable which is important because she is a strong chewer and easily destroys toys. Finally a piece broke off – but she's had it about 2 years and has played with it just about daily. I'm so glad Petco still stocks these so I can replace it!njbritchick

I've been buying Nylabones for every single one of my dogs for over a decade now, because they are the only toys that last longer than a week! I have an AmStaff, a Pittie, a Chihuahua, and a Chi-Pin and all 4 of them have the same veracious chewing habits. My small dogs strangely prefer all of the larger Nylabone models meant for bigger dogs over the teeny tiny ones meant for them, lol..don't ask me why, but they do! With daily usage from all 4 of my dogs, they tend to last anywhere from 9-12 months, until the big dogs whittle them down to what I call "shanks" (they tend to get a bit pointy/jagged on whatever end has been chewed on more)..and then once they become too small & unsafe for the big dogs, I just remove them and give them to the little dogs in another part of the house [away from the big dogs], and they continue enjoying these "nubs" for another 9-24 months. That being said, these "nubs" don't get chewed on daily by the small dogs since they prefer the largest/most intact Nylabones in the house lol. I've tried soooo many other brands of toys from multiple pet stores/other big box retail chains over the years, but these are the only consistent and affordable chew toys I've been able to find over the years..not to mention, all of my dogs LOVE them! The only other toy my dogs have not managed to destroy is their original Kongs, but literally, everything else typically gets destroyed within just a few short minutes-just a few days. For those worried about the dogs chewing off little pieces, that's kind of the point of these bones….why do you think most of them are flavored, lol..?? It's made of nontoxic ingredients that are safe and easily digestible, so I wouldn't worry about that. In my 14+ year tenure of owning dogs (esp. ones that are hardcore chewers w/ super strong jaws), NEVER have any of my dogs, no matter their size/breed, ever had any issues w/ digesting these bones..so fear not, fellow canine lovers! 🙂 Highly recommend ANY of the DuraChew Nylabones, esp. for dogs who are super orally fixated/hardcore chewers!!tboytrey

My boy loves this chew toy! I love this chew toy! They last a really long time, (at least for him) and they hold up really well to all of his shenanigans with it. In the 13 years I've had my dog I've only had to buy 3 of these, and one was bought only because he dropped it into a river while on a boat. It goes everywhere with him. I have tried all sorts of Kongs, smaller nylabones, soccer and rubber balls that my two dogs can't even get their mouths around, and they still find a way to destroy their toys. Anyone who has a power chewer knows that some dogs will chew with the front teeth to find a spot to tear open. Though this particular nylabone is large and expensive, it has held up to both my dogs' chewing for three months now. So far, they haven't chewed either end down, though it can get rough on the edges. No toy is permanent, but if you are looking for a toy that will last, this is one. I've seen reviews where people could not get their dogs to bother with this toy and thus rated them low because they spent the money on them. All I can say is that is not the manufacturer's fault. Some dogs just do not like certain chew toys. These nylabones are blocky and heavy and probably not meant for a small dog or one who doesn't like the weight to carry around. The product description states that it has a chicken flavor. One thing I will point out is that if it does, it does not have an odor that I can smell, unlike many other toys that have flavors infused in them. I'm sure that's a tactic to appeal to the dog more but for mine it doesn't make a difference. I'm just glad I can't smell it.' My beagle loves this! He is an avid chewer of plastic bottles and I was tired on picking them up. Found this toy in Marshall's and thought it'd be perfect. My pup carries it with him when he wants to lie down and chew. It's so great having clean floors again! Also feel a lot safer knowing that this toy isn't ending up in a bunch of little plastic pieces that he could possibly ingest, so that's another plus.myra.h

I sent this to my doggie niece Molly. Molly is a mini Dachshund that loves to chew. She has destroyed almost ever toy she's ever been given…. she's two years old. This toy was part of her Christmas present. When her human mom gave it to her, she allowed no one to touch it! It gave her family an hour of laughs and peace. She just couldn't get the treats off of it! They have given her another toy that she has to get the treat out of, but she can get the treat out in 20 minutes. They are all pleased with this toy. THIS TOY RIGGT HERE IS THE BEST TOY IVE EVER HAD FOR MY DOG! He is a very large very strong pitbull and shreds through toys like no other I've gotten 1 toy besides this one he hasn't destroyed this toy is soo amazing the purple ball is a strong rubber but very bouncy he hasn't destroyed this you at all the only part he has really "messed up" is the white outside he dug his teeth into so many times after having it for months that little parts come up a tiny hut and make it a bit sharp but will not hurt you or the dog at all! The kind of tearing on that toy was because he has had it so long and it took him awhile to even get it to where its little points of plastic sticking up they toy still has a very very long time left on it I dont think I'll ever get rid of it unless I get him a new one but he really dosent need it! they come in small medium and large!makenzie.f
