I care for an elderly gentleman who is incontinent. I bought the first of these rugs for him – to save the floor. I like the rug so much, i bought more for my entry way and bathroom. The backing keeps him from slipping in the bathroom. The rugs are super absorbent so reduce the amount of mud my dog brings in (because I live in a very rainy place). They are more expensive than regular rugs but I feel they are well worth the cost.
I now own 7 of these rugs throughout my house. I also have sent them to my daughters who have dogs. They re the best rugs for pets. I have now purchased three of the larger and one of the medium size of these rugs. They are very soft to the touch- my bassets like to lie on them also. They aren't like some of the micro-fiber products out there that 'stick' to your skin. These feel very nice and soft. I have one outside my back door where the dogs come in and out most often. A lot of grass, mud and dirt gets 'trapped' in the rug. I just shake it out. I have had the first one about 2 months and have washed it once. It came out nearly dry out of my front loader. I let it air dry. It does say you can put it in the dryer- but a friend told me it 'shed' a ton in the dryer. It looks just as good as when I first got it- no pulled strands even though my hounds love to scritch and scratch it into a pile. Basset hounds have huge thick nails! It is great for wiping my own shoes when I come in also. I have bought this as a gift for my mom and also for a friend and they are both happy with it. It stays in place very well ( unless the hounds fluff it around.). I have the red ones and they don't show the dirt much at all. I have a smaller one inside my front door and it does catch a lot of the fur when folks or hounds walk across it. The only downfall I can think of, is that the mat is too thick for some doors to clear it- so there it has to go on the side that the door doesn't have to go across it to open and close. If it is a wet or muddy day I just make sure the hounds have to wait a minute before I let them in, and by then they have walked on the rug enough to clean off their paws and even bellies if they laid down while waiting. This ScatMat has been awesome in preventing my stubborn Australian Shepherd from getting into my cat’s food area at night when we’re asleep.I’ve been having issues trying to stop my sweet but stubborn dog from always wanting to get into my cats food space even though it’s up on top of a counter. I’ve tried other measures but she always seems to find a way around them until I placed this ScatMat on the floor in front of the entryway to the cats food area at night. I leave enough room for the cats to be able to get to their food plus they have small steps they can use for easy access. It only took about 3-4 days for my dog to realize that the slight sensation isn’t worth it . She only does this at night so it’s put away during the day. It has saved me from the frustration of finding the empty cats food bowls knocked off the counter in the morning. It doesn’t hurt her at all but she definitely doesn’t like the sensation. i specifically buy these training pads and in this size 24"x24" to use in our small bathroom. every time i go to the bathroom, the 3 dogs have to go too. and i need something strong, and thats why i choose these. they hold alot of fluid and the vinal underneath is very strong and tough. prevents leakage. i actually keep the entire package of pads IN my bathroom. once it gets full, i change it. sometimes you need strength in a training pad and this is one of the areas i need it in…the bathroom. id like to rely on simple solution pads for the rest of the house, but since we have 5 other areas we adorn these pads at, its not financially feasible to use them. after the young dogs start to age a little more, i can begin to wean the pads down. then ill be able to buy all simple solution brand.theresa
I would never again order this product. The urine was not absorbed by a single layer of the pad; the carpet was wet underneath! I had to layer at least 3 or 4 or more of these pads to feel safe that the urine would not leak through to the carpet underneath. This room was the only room in my house where I could use the pads, even though it was carpeted. Wet underneath, probably with any type of flooring. I use these puppy training pads to line the bottom of my 2 Starling's cage. They take vigorous baths and spill A LOT of water. These work excellent for soaking up the water so the bottom of their cage isn't wet! If they work this well for birds….they'll work most excellent for puppy training!Cherie

I am so glad that we got to try this cot out! I have two dogs, a Jack Russell and a chow chow. My dogs did not want anything to do with this dog bed the first day and a half. But then we got the idea to put a fuzzy blanket on it and now both my dogs love it! I can’t blame them for wanting a blanket though, because it is winter in Minnesota currently! My plan for the summer is to put this dog bed outside so I am very excited about that! I think this will be my dogs new favorite spot to lay and look outside. I feel like I needed to only give 4 stars because I needed to add a blanket before my dogs were interested in it, but I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a new dog bed/cot!
My dog loves this cot and I think it’s pretty great too, especially since she loves it. The only change I would recommend to the company though is for the stuffing in the bolster to be bagged so that the bolster cover could easily be washed. My dog loves her bolster, but when she gets drool on it, it’d be nice if the stuffing was self-contained inside to be pulled out easily for the cover to be washed quickly as it says it’s machine washable.Jerseygalrocker

Best puppy pads I’ve ever used. I do put down 2 layers, but it very seldom leaks through. I have one cat, that after 12 years, suddenly refuses to use the litter box. I’ve tried everything. But I put these pads around the box and he will do his business there. They overlap, and this is where sometimes there’s leakage if it hits the seam just so. After I took the cot out of the box, I set it up inside in front of some large windows where I know my dog likes to sun himself. He was not sure what to make of it but I invited him up on it and the rest is history. He know uses it daily. It's plenty big to stretch out on and he acts like he is the king from high on his "perch". I am looking forward to using this outside when it warms up because the elevated bed should keep my dog cooler (with the air flow under it) but meanwhile it is making a nice spot inside the house. plastic parts have nubs that stop the side bars, when I pushed ( not very hard) the plastic piece snapped and broke. I found a way to fix it with long splints and zip ties, but very disappointed it broke. also, instructions say the middle legs should be facing in, but the middle support bar won't fit, so one one middle leg has to be on the outside of the frame and the other has to be on the outside of the frame. In addition the material in the middle sags, even without a dog laying on it. Glad I have small dogs. They do love it, but will eventually have to replace the zip ties and wooden splints, as I do have a chewer.Lila
I really was excited to try my Lucky Dog Elevated Pet Bed Cot when it arrived. I wanted to see how the dogs would like it. They have always used more traditional type beds and this was a totally new experience. First of all, it needed to be assembled. When it arrives you see all kinds of tubes that need to be connected to set up the bed. The directions say it should take about 20 minutes to assemble for 1 person. We did not find that to be true and the instructions are not as clear as I believe they could be. It took my husband and myself well over an hour to get this bed right. Lining up the pieces and getting the connecters in tight was much more work than we anticipated. As far as how my dogs like it, one is still afraid of it after having it over a week and the other likes it pretty well. So the reaction to it was a bit mixed. To be fair, the dog who is afraid of it has a tendency to be a bit wimpy about things in general. The dog who likes it really doesn't sleep on it much, she just likes sitting on it to look out the window. The material is canvas like and I am not sure she finds it that comfortable to lay on, plus the middle kind of sinks down a bit and is not supportive. I tried putting on a blanket on it and she does seem to like that better. She will lay on it from time to time. Overall, I wouldn't neccesarily recommend this bed. It is just okay in my opinion.

The bed is well made, washable and durable. But it stays "inflated" to the point that my dog is afraid to step on it. The inner filling creates an air pocket and the solution to making the air pocket deflate is to leave the zipper open and push out the air. But as soon as I zip it back up, the air pocket is there again. Not sure the answer but my big dog doesn't like the instability or wobble created by displacing the air pocket. Our puppy loves her waterproof round dog bed! At first, I was worried because she dug at it repeatedly. I thought she was going to ruin it quickly. Nope! It's find and she eventually stopped the digging. You can see some of her nail marks but maybe those will disappear when washed. If they don't, it's fine—I was just thrilled there was no hole from her! She naps on it daily on our breezeway and I don't need to worry about it getting moldy when it gets rained on. She also loves jumping down on it when she has gotten herself on our bench and isn't sure how to get down. Great product! Very happy with the brown color.Anonymous

I am so very impressed with the quality of the sofa bed by Lazyboy! The fabric has a soft, pleasant feel to it. Before we actually let our dog test it out, I didn't really expect it to be this big nor that comfortable where my daughter and mom actually sat on it before the dog did ha ha. The material is super soft it feel like a regular cloudy couch. Kind of like a throw but as a doggy bed. When our dog finally came home she really enjoyed her new bed especially since it's been cold it kept her really warm. She didn't know how to act after she got very comfortable in it. She didn't want to get up from it so that made me very happy that she actually like this bed. Normally she will just smell it, toss it around for a little bit and maybe every now and then sit inside her bed She would just climb on to the couch with us. Beautiful cozy dog bed that’s easy to care for and looks nice in your home. The cover unzips easily, washes quickly in the washing machine and tumble dries fast with no signs of wear. Loved this bed so much I got a second one. Only problem came when we got a new dog that likes to nest and has sharp claws. The cover couldn’t stand up to that and ripped after a while. Once the cover ripped it’s game over because dogs have quick access to the fun stuffing. The dogs loved this bed for over a year but I can’t get another one because of our Pointer’s nesting habit.
