Bought Two of these – One for each grand dog home. Shipped to family member where we have Xmas and “Pup Pup”, the resident parcel inspector and delivery announcer went bonkers when the ball was removed from the shipping box. The ball is very rigid plastic which prevents total instant destruction by the doxie tag team that makes short work of any toy in reach. I would recommend this toy for a smaller dog or one who is not a powerful chewer. I know this is not intended to be a chew toy, but realistically, if you have a medium or large dog, they usually have a tendency to chew any toy you put in front of them. I have an English Pointer mix who normally destroys any toy I give him unless I get it from BullyMake or BarkBox. Unfortunately, neither offer a toy that compares to this one in terms of entertainment for your dog. He absolutely loved this toy so it is a shame that he was able to bite chucks out of it within 20 minutes. I can't find the pieces that he took out of it so I'm waiting to see if he passes them. If not, it will be a visit to the vet. He was so sad when I took it away from him and looked at me with those sad brown eyes. I would love to have one of stronger material that he could play with and not have to worry. My dog absolutely LOVES this ball. We got her one when she was just a puppy and it’s been her favorite toy since. She’s had it about 6 months and has destroyed it. My Plott Hound is big, hyperactive and obsessive. Several years ago a friend gave him one of these balls and he has been totally focused on it ever since. This past winter he smacked it into the house (brick) when it was 20 degrees outside and the ball cracked. He eventually was able to start taking it apart. That ball was at least 15 years old and possibly older and had been handed down through several dogs. I bought this toy for my little french bull dogs first birthday. Seeing it capabilities online I was immediately impressed and intrigued with self play and the balls ability to get out from under areas the dog might have trouble with since my girlfriend is in her studies from home and her work is constantly interrupted from our dog whining about a ball trapped under somewhere. The ball showed up two weeks after and both my pet and I were excited. I got it out of the packaging read the manual and gave it to my French bull dog eager to play. She immediately took to it and could tell she was obsessed. This seemed all too good to be true. And it was…. In less than ten minutes our Frenchie had managed to get the clear plastic ring from the centre apart from the shell and dismantle the shell….maybe I should have got a replacement one but don't believe I should have to pay $10 to give my dog 10minutes of play… That is not sustainable living… Not for us anyways… Perhaps the new design is more durable but after spending $60+ for a ball after tax and shipping that couldn't withstand a 25lb pup I'm not to eager to dish it out again…. This ball was amazing at first. First day I used it my frenchie was obsessed however 10 mins in, I notice a piece was already broken off. Customer support was super nice and sent me a new shell with no problem, however when it arrived and I went to use it again, the shell wouldn’t close fully so it wouldn’t work. Like it was always lose fitting and after 10 seconds of playing, the shell was fully open. I got the shell to my apartment at school so by the time I was able to give it to my dog was about a month after I had received it so I never put in another request for a new one as I had no way to prove that it didn’t work since day 1. I bought this as a way to save money on treats given to my dog when I leave for work. Using the tricky treat ball I can extend the time she can play after I leave and distract her from her separation anxiety. I pack with her regular food and then seal the hole with peanut butter. With new balls, and a new machine, the product is exactly as advertised. After 10 minutes of fetch, the ball is too wet to throw as expected. The ball gets dirty, and the machine does too, creating a muddy internal process. The balls sent with the machine were subpar quality, and lasted about 25 throws a piece before they were starting to come apart. The machine doesn't adjust for ball sizes, so as a tennis ball wears down, the machine can't grab it, and forget about a tennis ball without it's hairy skin, they are too small by far. It's charging good, and working well if I keep putting new tennis balls in it, and run a towel through it, (although that's hard to do.) I suggest a manual adjustment be added to future products, to change the distance between the wheels that grab the ball. I think a tiny tweak on my machine would allow it to through hard rubber balls that wouldn't get nearly as dirty or wet, and keep the machine cleaner. Overall, I think the product is good, but is flawed in design. If there were just a few more capacities to make it work in the field and with different ball sizes, I think it's be a very strong product.Adam T.

This ball came and looked like a plastic hard ball from the dollar store. Very disappointed. It's not a dog toy material. Our dog roughed up and chewed the outside in 15 minutes. Terrible hard plastic looks like junk. Hardly rolls, and our dog, who loves toys hardly even paid attention to the $49??? ****** thing. Save your money. False advertising, and I'd like a refund, but looks like they lock you out of one with all the restrictions on their refund policy. If you still want to order, READ THE REFUND POLICY FIRST. I bought this toy for my little french bull dogs first birthday. Seeing it capabilities online I was immediately impressed and intrigued with self play and the balls ability to get out from under areas the dog might have trouble with since my girlfriend is in her studies from home and her work is constantly interrupted from our dog whining about a ball trapped under somewhere. This product seemed to be perfect. I ordered it. Within a week I see cheerble is now advertising a new version of the ball, felt like I missed out on a new improved design but was eager to see what the wicked ball W1 still had to offer. The ball showed up two weeks after and both my pet and I were excited. I got it out of the packaging read the manual and gave it to my French bull dog eager to play. She immediately took to it and could tell she was obsessed. This seemed all too good to be true. And it was…. In less than ten minutes our Frenchie had managed to get the clear plastic ring from the centre apart from the shell and dismantle the shell….maybe I should have got a replacement one but don't believe I should have to pay $10 to give my dog 10minutes of play… That is not sustainable living… Not for us anyways… Perhaps the new design is more durable but after spending $60+ for a ball after tax and shipping that couldn't withstand a 25lb pup I'm not to eager to dish it out again…. This ball was amazing at first. First day I used it my frenchie was obsessed however 10 mins in, I notice a piece was already broken off. Customer support was super nice and sent me a new shell with no problem, however when it arrived and I went to use it again, the shell wouldn’t close fully so it wouldn’t work. Like it was always lose fitting and after 10 seconds of playing, the shell was fully open. I got the shell to my apartment at school so by the time I was able to give it to my dog was about a month after I had received it so I never put in another request for a new one as I had no way to prove that it didn’t work since day 1. I’m hoping I was just unlucky as this was an amazing idea for a product that I loved when it did work, I’m just sad I spent so so much money for it to not work on me twice. In order to replace just this piece on my 2012 fusion ford told me i had to buy the whole positive terminal kit which comes with all the wires and looks like an octopus with a pice tag of roughly $145 (retail part). Up to $300-ish installed. All i needed was the terminal but ford said they did not sell this piece alone. So i saw this one and picked it up and had a friend who installs aftermarket radios cut and soder the wires. Worked perfectly. He charged me $30. These balls are 99% indestructible in my opinion. They are larger than a tennis ball so dogs cannot get them in their mouths. They can chew them to their hearts content and leave very little marks if at all. Beware of their strong bounce. As they cost more than a tennis ball, be careful the dogs don't lose them in bushes etc.miken6293

My dog is about 30 lbs and he LOVES this ball. He can't quite get a bite of it, so he rolls around with it, trying to control it. It just rolls away from him though, and it's hilarious to watch. Our dog loves this ball. Harder than I thought it would be so not suitable for indoors. Beware outdoors though if you have a greenhouse, we now have to replace a lower pane of glass where the ball rolled to and it wasn't moving very fast either. Machine is constantly noisy which my dog does not like. It does not launch the balls very far at all (not even half the length of my yard). The sound it makes before launching a ball which is supposed to be the warning is lower than the sound the machine constantly makes. No timer which would help (just a slow to fast turn dial that doesn't make a huge difference).

It was fun while it lasted. The first one my 1.5 yr old mini-schnauzer tore within the first week. From my angle, he was rubbing his nose into the gaps to get the treats from the red ball. But I learned quickly that he was chewing on the teal part, and the toy tore at that point. However, I did buy another one and now our family makes sure to watch him while he plays and stops him from chewing it. It is a fun toy and stimulating. Worth trying out in my opinion.
I use this to hide dentabones for my dog. She loves it. She can pretty much get the bone out within a few seconds, but she likes trying to remove the red ball from the inside of this toy too. She did rip it, but she’s a pitbull so i expected to at. The key is to let chewers play with it for a little bit while you watch for them to try to remove the ball inside, then give them a tough bone that they can chew on and take this one away if you’re not watching. I’ve found very few toys that my girl doesn’t destroy and eat, but this is something different that she gets really excited about on sight, so I’d recommend this to any dog as long as you watch them with it.Steph
My one year old goldendoodle is a power chewer and shredder of all things plush. However, she has not torn or shredded this rubber toy. Smaller treats fall too easily out of the center, so I squished a chicken jerky treat that was too large for it inside the red part. The pressure of it being too large holds it in and creates the challenge. She has been entertained for hours so far and it is providing her with the mental enrichment of trying to figure out how to get the treat. She is a smart dog and needs a job to do or she gets herself into trouble. This toy is perfect for her! It’s also a great interactive toy for playing fetch. We love the soft flexible rubber design that bounces erratically but doesn’t cause damage to anything inside the house. It’s easy for her to pick up with her teeth and she can squeeze her nose into the openings. There are no rough edges or hard spots. Perfect toy at a great price!
