It works. You must spray all the cracks and all rooms bugs may have traveled. They can travel on people, clothing, and luggage undetected. It can take weeks to fully eradicate them according to pest control experts. As I sprayed, there was 1 bedbug that was moving. When I sprayed it, it just stopped. Even removing it from the pillow, it never moved. I had seen other carcasses of dead bugs. I'm not sure if the surface needs to be wet as they come in contact or pass through it or not because I've only witnessed this once but have seen flat, dehydrated like dead ones. I lightly sprayed our couch and recliner just as the directions stated and the smell was so strong it sent me into an asthma attack. I am reviewing this product for Walmart. I received it around the date after I was requested to review it, so this is only 2 days after use. I researched the product before I used it. The product is made from Neem Oil, a widely used plant based insecticide made from the seeds of the Neem Oil tree. Product is 5.5% neem oil, balance is "other" which I assume includes water. Anything else is a guess. Used on a variety of foods. I followed the instructions and sprayed on the mattress and box spring after removing sheets and mattress covers (I use a waterproof and regular covers for baby grand-daughter). Comes in a spray bottle, you use 1oz per 1 to 3 sq. feet, which was hard to judge. There was no caution , but I wore gloves and a mask since the smell was supposed to be strong. Not as bad as I expected. The instructions said to close off the area for 4 hours and then air out. I waited 5 hours. Easy to air out. You can reuse 1-2 weeks as needed. If you have bed bugs, this is a easy to use, seemingly safer option. Can't really say anything about results since its 2 days. It is widely used.Grandpa

First, I want to tell people that this is an insecticide. PLEASE open up the label on the back of the bottle and read AND FOLLOW the instructions inside!!! I am a Master Gardener and have been taught the importance of insecticides – but, mostly, to open the labels and follow the instructions exactly… Second, I want to say that the active ingredient in this is Cold-Pressed Neem Oil. Neem Oil is a plant-based substance that is also used to kill insects on food crops. I consider it safe as long as it is used correctly. I don't have bed bugs but I know that dust mites are everywhere. Especially on upholstered, fabric covered items. So I treated every pillow in my home which are on sofas, chairs, beds… (about 17). I didn't actually see any dust mites or see them dying but I have every confidence that this spray (made out of Neem Oil) killed them!!! The spray is naturally plant-based but the instructions call for an airing-out period after the item has been sprayed. So I waited for the pillows to dry for a period of time before allowing any people or pets to lay on them… The spray does have a strong (but not unpleasant) fragrance which dissipates while the sprayed item is drying. It keeps a slight, fresh fragrance after it is dried. This definitely kills live bed bugs. Unfortunately, you have to find them for it to be effective. I strip the bed, wash the sheets and blankets in hot water, and completely spray all sides of the mattress and box spring. Then I spray the bed frame and floor. Lots of work. I had to use this stuff monthly for about 8 times before I was rid of the son-of-a-guns. One suggestion. Wear some type of face mask as breathing the fumes causes my lungs to burn. We used this after our dog came home from a friend's with a few hitchhikers. Other flea powders didn't cut it – but this stuff, with no added oils, nipped them in the butt. I've seen other reviews here that claim mixing this product into a liquid solution made it more effective – this is not the case. DE works by cutting open the bug's exoskeleton, which it cannot do if it is wet. If you spread the powder along fabric/carpet areas and tap it down with a stiff brush/broom, let it sit for at least 24 hours, and then vacuum each day for 2 weeks, you won't have a flea problem afterwards. I work at a pet retailer and still recommend this over other products. Do not expect and overnight miracle as the bottle says to repeat the process within days to a week. I purchased the Egg Killer the 22 gal spray as well as the diatomaceous earth in order to create barriers and different timelines for them to die. If they come in contact the DE, ttl is 48hrs, the sprays are a few hours or so. as long as the DE does not become moist it will continue to work. Once the spray dries it will start to work. It is an uphill battle but your best bet is to encase everything you can and wash all clothes by weeks end. Even if you dont have to wash put them in the dryer for an hour. Make sure bedding is not on the floor and that your bed and dresser and other appliances are islands (not on the wall) cover and outlets that are not in use and vacuum as often as possible. Spray baseboards and lift the carpet in corners where most active. You will see a difference in time. Also use STEAM (i use my iron) where ever you can (bookshelves end tables, etc..) and use electronic duster in your electronics as the cold burst will kill them. It worked wonderfully for about 1 year and then the pesky little roaches started appearing and they now seem totally immune to the stuff. So, I am having to find an alternative to using it. If you want to get rid of them forever then this is not the stuff to use. It worked great for about a year, I mean really great. But, after I did some more research I am finding out this is common for this product. The roaches develop an immunity to the formula, which I didn't know. I have sprayed regularly and now I am having a problem and all the cleaning in the world and spraying in the world is working. I'm doing more research and have found another product that kills them instantly and has over 3,000 positive reviews. I just ordered it, but, had already order a new bottle of this before reading that they become immune to it, so, now I have a brand new bottle and wasted money that I have spent. Not sure what to do with it. I am just praying this other stuff works. I am a very picky person about my house, but, living in a mobile home in a park is bad news if you don't gain control over the problem. I suspect neighbors have problems and they travel! I had an awful fruit fly problem that came out of nowhere, for a couple weeks I was killing 40-50 flies a day with vinegar and sticky traps. I mixed this 1oz Gentrol concentrate in a gallon of Ortho Home defense, and sprayed everywhere, around door frames, baseboards, under cabinets, and around sinks (not on actual food prep surfaces of course). by the 2nd day I was down to single-digits for flies a day, and today I can say there are NONE remaining, aweseome! These are easy to assemble and use. They work well for catching Fleas. We sprayed for Fleas and use these to indicate if they are gone. The bulbs are standard night light bulbs. My husband travels for work so he stays in hotels 2 weeks at a time before coming home. Never in my life would I have ever thought I would need to purchase bedbug traps but he stayed in a hotel recently and woke up with bites. I bought these thinking they had sticky paper inside to actually trap the bugs. Nope. All it is is a little box you basically have to check constantly. They only way it traps anything is if you manually push it down by hand to trap the bugs yourself. Meaning the rest of the time they can enter and exit as they please. Completely uselessSmurfcakes
