So I ordered this and instantly it killed the horrific suckers. I'm ashamed to say I had bed bugs. But with this product it killed them instantly. They was in my BRAND NEW COUCH. I will be buying more of this so they will stay away. I also plan to just spray my whole home that way I know I won't have this murderous problem again. I really learned my lesson and not get anything, no matter how nice it may be, off the side of the road ever again. I've had the bed bugs for a couple years and I thought I got rid of them by throwing the old couch away seeing that is where they were coming from or they might have came from someone else that was in my home. It works. You must spray all the cracks and all rooms bugs may have traveled. They can travel on people, clothing, and luggage undetected. It can take weeks to fully eradicate them according to pest control experts. As I sprayed, there was 1 bedbug that was moving. When I sprayed it, it just stopped. Even removing it from the pillow, it never moved. I had seen other carcasses of dead bugs. I'm not sure if the surface needs to be wet as they come in contact or pass through it or not because I've only witnessed this once but have seen flat, dehydrated like dead ones. I like the battery-operated wand vs a trigger spray, especially with my arthritis. It also helps to get into the hard to reach areas at the headboard and around the floor. This product works! Someone brought bed bugs into our home luckily we got this in only one room and was able to stop it before it started. Went straight to Walmart first time buying this never seen a bed bug before. We live in apts but we didn't wait on maintenance. So prayed this at top of walls and just let it run down. I soaked behind pictures down to baseboards, even sprayed matresses and furniture. I did this every night plus washed everything in hot water and used dryer. No more bed bugs in our home. I spray all over the bed items and cloth headboard. Haven't seen any signs of the bedbugs. The bedbugs bite, draw blood then release the blood on your sheets. It's horrifying when you see this. Plus, I put an enclosed cover on the top mattress and still had the problem. With BED BITE KILLER the problem seems solve. I wish it had a place on the side of the container to hold the nozzle. Do not expect and overnight miracle as the bottle says to repeat the process within days to a week. I purchased the Egg Killer the 22 gal spray as well as the diatomaceous earth in order to create barriers and different timelines for them to die. If they come in contact the DE, ttl is 48hrs, the sprays are a few hours or so. as long as the DE does not become moist it will continue to work. Once the spray dries it will start to work. It is an uphill battle but your best bet is to encase everything you can and wash all clothes by weeks end. Even if you dont have to wash put them in the dryer for an hour. Make sure bedding is not on the floor and that your bed and dresser and other appliances are islands (not on the wall) cover and outlets that are not in use and vacuum as often as possible. Spray baseboards and lift the carpet in corners where most active. You will see a difference in time. Also use STEAM (i use my iron) where ever you can (bookshelves end tables, etc..) and use electronic duster in your electronics as the cold burst will kill them. I have a serious bedbug infestation in my house; primarily in my bedroom and living room. I have seen bugs climbing on the wall. I have used a black light and found semi-clear nymphs on the mattress and recliner. At night, I wake up itching to find rows of bites on my arms and legs. I often see the bugs on my pillow and on my sofa. There are tale-tale streaks on my sheets and pillow cases. I have tried all sorts of things to get this infestation under control. Bought a new vacuum cleaner and use it every night to vacuum the mattress and box springs before going to bed, put mattress and box springs in vinyl liners, bought all new bedding. So cleaning is not the solution. I have tried blowing insecticide dust, UV-light, and other sprays. The sprays either promised to kill on contact or provide long-term results. Nothing worked. As an test of the contact sprays, I have gleefully sprayed bugs and they stop. However, soon as the spray dries, they continue on like the rain has stopped and it is ok to come out and play. When I sprayed them using JT Eaton Kills Bedbugs Insecticide Spray (204-1G) in a spray bottle… one shot got them; they stayed dead. And this was on the spray setting… not stream. So I bought a couple gallon size jugs with a sprayer and have blasted my bedroom and living room. I have sprayed the baseboards and floors for the rest of the house. So I am sitting here over 24 hours later and for the first night in a month, I am bite free. This stuff works. It took me a little while to figure out how to use this Hot Shot Bed Bug Killer Dust With Diatomaceous Earth. The reason being is, the tip of the applicator needs to be snipped off. It came with a cover so I assumed that I was simply required to remove the lid and then work my way with the product. Having said all that, this product is effective in preventing bed bugs, cockroaches, ants and centipedes. The product is white and comes in a powder form, do not breathe the product in. I used the product on my bed frame as well as the crevices of the mattress and I can notice a difference in reduction of all the itchy feeling I have whenever I get in my bed (due to bed bugs or other insects). It can also be used on the wall near the bed. I would recommend it for its simple use and effectiveness.Naffy

I have been using this as a preventative treatment. The small spout on top makes for easy and controlled pouring around our bed frames and mattresses. No strong odor from the powder. So far it has worked with no signs of bedbugs!!Mamabear6

This stuff seemed to be working at first until I started waking up with bites and it seems like the bugs gravitated from my bed to my clothes , since I haven’t done laundry yet, and I’ve got bitten even more now I’m losing sleep over these bugs thinking they’re going to bite me. I have tried two other bedbug and flea products but this hot shot bedbug and flea fogger is the only product that has worked for me. I recently stayed at a hotel and brought home bedbugs from my stay there and the two products that I have tried before trying this hot shot product failed to kill my infestation. I only had a small infestation. I used the hot shot and I have not seen any bed bugs for a month now. The product was very simple to use. It comes with 3 canisters designed to work on a 16ft x 16ft room. One canister per room. You do have to cover or remove anything like dishes or food processing equipment. Also cover fish aquariums and remove any pets. Also turn off any ignition sources,refrigerators or thermostats. All you do to use it is shake the can well , activate the can and leave the room for at least 2 hours. Then air the room out for 2 more hours. If there is still a odor detectable in the room after airing the room out for 2 hours let it air out until the odor is gone. I only had to do 2 hours. Overall this was a great product and I highly recommend to give it a try!April38

Our deck is enclosed every Winter and we have a small door for the feral cats in our area to feed and be protected from the weather. We noticed that our indoor cats were having flea problems and traced it back to the ferals cats I feed. I used the Hot Shot BedBug And Flea Fogger on the deck and I am happy to say that so far, after a week, no flea problems on the deck or in my house. Our enclosed area is 12'x16' and we used one 2 ounce can of the flea fogger. After closing off the feral entrance, we set a can on a patio brick in the center of the deck and set it off. It didn't take long for the cannister to empty and we left it closed up for the 2 hours that are recommended.. (I made sure that all the bedding was washed but the possibility of lice and fleas in the straw we use for their main insulated bedding needed this treatment also.) I opened the deck to air it out so the cats wouldn't be affected and it worked perfectly. So far, no one is coming in with fleas on their clothes and the cats appear more comfortable after using the Hot Shot BedBug and Flea fogger. I never would have thought to use this product for their area but and thrilled I can keep the flea problem under control.mskitty

Good: easy to use. take off cap push down button till it locks. walk away for 2 hours. i found dead bugs upon the airing out stage afterwards. Bad: I found 2 bugs 7 days later alive after using this spray in conditions way better than recommended (After using the spray can and the powder as well! ). I will leave the possibility that the bugs came in from my vehicle a week later perhaps. So i put a fogger in my car today. It says not to, so that means it must have killed everything in there in such a small space. I don't know, i'm reading that the only way to get rid of the bed bugs is to freeze or heat the area for 24hrs above 120F. They are supposedly adapted to pesticides. I like the fact that it's safe for on clothing and surfaces where people or pets might be. It also doesn't have strong odor or fumes like other sprays, which is helpful. However, I had a really stubborn infestation and using this product alone didn't solve the probem. I how now combined it with a much stronger spray for bed bugs, which I use on the bedframe, mattress, boxsprings behind furniture and on baseboards. I have finally seen real progress and improvement, and will continue to use Premo Guard to keep ahead of the problem.Christina S.

I thought we had bed bugs, turns out we have what I'll assume are white mites. Vacuumed my whole bed , yesterday (box spring and all) sprayed and finally got a night's sleep without being bitten. Today I'm working on the guest room futon which is navy blue and the spray is drying without spotting. If you're going to buy this product then definitely take the time to diligently clean the entire room. Vacuum, Spray the carpets and bed and frame. Wash your curtains etc….. This product is definitely unscented but it will irritate your throat if you get a whiff of the mist….so wear a mask if you have respiratory issues…. Didn't work at all. It appears that my problem has worsened since I started to use it. I have read that the dustmites are immune to treatments in their dormant state. I am therefore, doing an overhaul of my home and getting rid of all my beautiful furnishings and decorations that I love.sharogarlan53

This definitely kills live bed bugs. Unfortunately, you have to find them for it to be effective. I strip the bed, wash the sheets and blankets in hot water, and completely spray all sides of the mattress and box spring. Then I spray the bed frame and floor. Lots of work. I had to use this stuff monthly for about 8 times before I was rid of the son-of-a-guns. One suggestion. Wear some type of face mask as breathing the fumes causes my lungs to burn. This is the BEST home product I have found for bed bugs!! My husband works for a furniture rental company and unfortunately he occasionally will bring home the nasty bugs! We spray this just as the instructions say and it gets rid of them. The most important thing is consistency. You must do it over again when the eggs hatch again. My husband travels for work so he stays in hotels 2 weeks at a time before coming home. Never in my life would I have ever thought I would need to purchase bedbug traps but he stayed in a hotel recently and woke up with bites. I bought these thinking they had sticky paper inside to actually trap the bugs. Nope. All it is is a little box you basically have to check constantly. They only way it traps anything is if you manually push it down by hand to trap the bugs yourself. Meaning the rest of the time they can enter and exit as they please. Completely uselessSmurfcakes

while this version {MAX} touts itself as 3x more effective that previous versions i highly disagree. i have used both versions and this one DOES NOT use a glue strip to trap the bedbugs to enable detection. so unless you monitored the trap 24/7 to see the bedbugs entering and then leaving you will be left with a false sense of no infestation picture on left is max trap with previous version on right. both after 72 hour use.gjbon

My review is based on bed bug usage. I've never tried it on fleas. We ended up having to get something stronger to kill the bed bugs. Don't get me wrong, this works, temporarily. For example, while I was cleaning my linens, etc. I sprayed it on shoes (old sneakers) to prevent them from crawling up my legs while I was working. After a few minutes, the stuff seems to wear off. I had to double up my socks and spray the stuff every 10 mins or so to keep them at bay. Also, it takes forever for them to die when you spray them directly, if they die at all. Imagine sitting there spraying one lone bed bug forever and after leaving for an hour and returning, not only is the sucker still alive, it's still roaming as if you've just given it a fresh batch of blood??? You'd have to buy quite a bit of this stuff and constantly spray it to see results. I'd recommend that you just use that money to purchase something stronger. Do not buy this HotShot bedbug and flea killer. It will not do the job. Hire a professional exterminator and to have them fumigate those nasty critters from your home or apartment. I spent tons of money on this product. If you spray this into your home or apartment your infestation of bedbugs will increase quickly. Don't waste money on buying other pesticides either but hire a professional exterminator. You will better off if you did. I do not recommend this product to another consumer.Mike

Products does what it states it could do. To make your home protected. Glad that it is ECO friendly. Researched other users and they provided a lot helpful tips. Spray once a day and vacuum. Most of these sprays advise spraying once a week or every other week is sufficient. The building has an issue with BB. The spray smell is horrible and it does not dissipate. I sprayed with Fabreeze, let it air out, passed a wet soapy cloth. Nothing. It also does not work. I continue to get bit by bedbugs. Further more when ever I'm by an are that a I sprayed, I get sick, my head starts to hurt, I get a soar throat and instead I feel as if I'm the one that's going to die and not the bed bugs. We used this after our dog came home from a friend's with a few hitchhikers. Other flea powders didn't cut it – but this stuff, with no added oils, nipped them in the butt. I've seen other reviews here that claim mixing this product into a liquid solution made it more effective – this is not the case. DE works by cutting open the bug's exoskeleton, which it cannot do if it is wet. If you spread the powder along fabric/carpet areas and tap it down with a stiff brush/broom, let it sit for at least 24 hours, and then vacuum each day for 2 weeks, you won't have a flea problem afterwards. I work at a pet retailer and still recommend this over other products. It's important to note you have to treat your furry friend with flea meds in combination with treating your home 🙂GuineaPigs4Life

We spray all our clothes intended for hiking or gardening with JT Eaton Spray to avoid tick bites. Also spray our dog's bed for the same reason. The sprayer is excellent: easy to achieve an even light wetness and allows extraction of almost all of the solution from the container.
