The collar that we got is excellent quality and a really cute design. However, the buckle itself is extremely heavy and seems like it’s uncomfortable on our dog. I think we may have to purchase some thing else because of the weight of the buckle.Danielle S.

This collar is so cute and exactly what I was looking for. It feels good quality and the graphics are clear. It also came really quick. When the collar arrived, I was a little nervous the medium size would be too small for my 40lb hound mix, but it fit and still has a little bit of adjustability. We received this color threw and influencer deal with pupfluence and buckledown and we are so glad we did! We absolutely love the collar! Amazing quality and super durable! Only issue we had with it was it was hard to use the seatbelt buckle clasp but nothing the company can do! Just gotta get a little more use out of it! Definelty recommend!Mercede

Looks nothing like the photo. The actual collar you receive has an extremely faded out version of the skulls…they look grayish black instead of white. They look blurry and not sharp, you can barely tell they’re even skulls! The colors are NOT vibrant at all. Wish I could attach a photo….complete bait-and-switch. I ordered this product simply for its looks, and am pleased that it looks and functions great as an indoor collar. We have another fur saver collar for training and walks that gives us more control. Our dog is large and strong and if he pulls a few times, this collar loosens, as the material is slick. I gave this color five stars because it functions exactly as I need it to. It is soft and comfortable for being around the house and Can be worn in conjunction with his training collar.JSorrells

I had bought the Harry Barker Chelsea collar before but it was definitely narrower. I think it was a medium. This one is a large but was also 12 to 20 inches. I did not realize it was wider and I don’t like it.Riva T.

I'm not the type to leave negative reviews, but this company has the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I ordered this collar a month ago for my puppy and have not received any updates whatsoever about when I should expect the collar to arrive. I have sent countless emails, called the customer service line every day for a week, even messaged the Mission Pets & Harry Barker social media accounts hoping for at least a little direction on what I should do. Nothing. No one has ever responded to me regarding my order, although I know the company is still active since you just had a big Labor Day weekend sale AND my payment for my order has already been processed. It's a cute collar, but pretty generic. Definitely not worth the way this company has been treating us. My poor puppy is sad, collarless, and I am out $22 with absolutely nothing to show for it. We adopted a dog who is a nervous guy and not food motivated. He would bark at people walking by our house and wouldn’t come when he was called. I used this collar to train him and only had to use the static stimulation twice on the lowest setting and now just use the tone. Four months ago we picked up a 3 year old yellow lab at a shelter near Denver. The dog is lovable, has had some hunting experience, but was WILD when we got him. It was necessary to keep him tethered at all times, or he was GONE for 20 minutes pursuing some scent in the nearby forest (we back up to public land). I purchased this device in the hopes I could control him. To my surprise I discovered he must have had some time with a similar device. He instantly responded to the Tone/Vibration mode. When he would start to take off, one tap on that mode made him instantly come back. Only if he chased a deer on hikes did I have to "tingle" him a little. He would immediately drop the chase. Now I can take a hike with him in the forest, without a leash, & he stays right with me, if wearing the collar.mstar5

I bought the sport dog 425x for my lab a few months ago & loved it but it recently fell off him while we were walking on a trail and I was never able to find it. For the money it costs, I don’t think it should fall off that easily. I then bought the 825x, but I’m not sure I recommend this collar for extremely active dogs.esport dog collar

I like the metal clasp on the collar, and the material seems of high quality and durable. I also like that it is more water resistant, and does not stink after getting wet. I bought a 2nd collar after this one because i liked it so much.Carolyn B.

Over the years, my dog (American Pitbull Terrier) has been very hard to ‘fit’ with a good collar. His short hair is often pushed up and over the edge of his collars; causing him to scratch at them endlessly. I’m so happy I found this collar, as it wears very nicely on him. I will definitely be ordering another, as the price is, by far, cheaper than ANY similar collar I could find. Very happy with my purchase! (And my dog is too!)ELISSA

Quality leather and buckles. I gave it three stars because they run small. My dog wears an 18" collar that was getting old. So I ordered an 18" of this collar. It doesn't fit him. It is 18" from end to end. So if you order these, go up in size. Otherwise it is a very nice collar.Connie

I've had the FI collar for about 8 months now, and it has been a downward spiral for the last month now. Initially it started off great, it was reliable, and it delivered on its promises. However, now, it is unreliable, inconsistent, and not worth the cost.

If you want a product to rely on to keep track of your dogs, this is not the one for you. Here's a list of the issues that's developed in the last month with it that have gone with no resolution:

-Battery is advertised as lasting between 1 to 3 months; reality is, it lasts about 2 weeks at best, though now it's losing about 15-20% per DAY.

-Collar can't keep consistent connection to base or home wifi. When my dog is sitting at home, the collar constantly and randomly disconnects from both wifi and base station and sends me a false alert that he has left the house.

-It doesn't actually alert me when my dog leaves the network and goes on a walk. I've taken my dog out on a walk, then checked my app to see if it kept track, only to see it notes he left the home network and when he came back, no track of where he went in between.

-Took my dog on a day out at a dog park, FI collar didn't register we were there at all. Just noted the time I left the house and came back. No GPS info or connection to phone to indicate where we went or were, despite being out and about for a few hours.

-Battery life is increasingly diminished. Charged it to full 3 day ago, battery currently at 64%. Dog's been home mostly, minus short daily walks.

-Collar doesn't detect or connect to collar base. I'm sitting at home within range and the collar is connected to my phone via bluetooth, rather than at to collar base.

-Due to all these issues, went for the tried and true "restart" attempt. I deactivated the collar but when I went to reactivate it, it failed to do so. So now the collar is just a normal collar with zero tracking ability.

-Have had multiple back and forth with customer service, but all they do is ask me to do certain things so they can see what the diagnostic says, but nothing concrete or noticeable changes are being made.

Never has such a product gone from a high beginning to a burning, crashing end. Due to initial credit, I've been trying to get things fixed with customer service for the past few weeks to no avail. I really wanted this to work as the battery life is really attractive, but now it has become too unreliable and untrustworthy to depend on.

I've had my collar for 9 months. Love it.

Really like the activity & sleep tracking. Provides good insight into my dogs habits! tracking is good for the most part.

Areas for improvements: battery life and range. I have 5 acres total, with 2.5 my dog can roam freely. Initally after purchasing the collar, my dog would go out of wifi/base range every couple hours, which put it in GPS mode and drained battery very fast.

I ended up buying 3 more base stations and spreading them out around my property,which solved the issue. Now the collar gets about 2 months charge.

The base stations are $40 a piece, so if you have a large house or property and don't want to spend more to keep collar from dying every couple days, this might not be the right solution for you.

Subscription model: You can add multiple collars/dogs to one account, however if you want to track a new dog Fi makes you pay for a second subscription. It would be nice if one subscription would cover all collars on one account.Z W

I’ve had the collar a little over 1.5 years. It has worked okay at best.
When my dog has been lost/gotten out, the app usually takes longer to update than one minute that they claim it will, not has it been incredibly accurate.
When I take her for walks, I get a notification about 10 minutes after we have left the house telling me that she’s left the house. That’s not very helpful, a dog having a 10 minute window before a notification is sent.
The past few weeks her collar/the module has been offline or searching for network. In the meantime, the home base has lost connection to the collar and the network, meaning that the location tracker has not been working, it doesn’t even register that it’s at home. The step counter has not been active either.
When notifying the tech support of these new issues I was pushed to just buy a new module/collar (since I’m past the 1 year warranty) instead of being helped to possibly troubleshoot any issues.
I joined their Facebook group to see if I can find assistance or help from someone else who has gone through the same issue to see if it can be resolved, but in order for you to join the group you have to say that you won’t post anything negative about the collar or try to discourage anyone else from buying it. Shady business, my friends.
