This is a good small set of dog toys. My dog took to these toys right when I gave them to her. She loves squeakers which both the coffee and gingerbread man had. These would be great for smaller dogs and for medium/large dogs who do not tear up their toys. These do seem to be made well and as long as your dog does not go crazy on them then these will last. Putting the batteries in was not very difficult but the on/off switch did not work very well. No matter what I did, when I was trying to put the ball back in the cover, it would keep going off. I would turn it off just as illustrated but I guess my hand would hit the button and turn it back on and it would turn on and start barking and vibrating again. I thought I would never get it back together. Then the real fun started. Three dogs – three fails. I really thought that the Shepherd-mix we were babysitting would get a kick out of this toy. She was terrified as was my dog and my sister's dogs. If it went off downstairs they all charged upstairs or outside. So sad. The only one who enjoyed is was the 11-month old who was visiting at Christmas. She loved the vibration and she loves dogs so it was made for her.YAHSATX
It's not expensive and appears to be made well, but 1. was nearly impossible to open the pocket that houses the ball to insert the 3 x AAA batteries. Actually had to cut the stitching to remove it. 2. My 2 dogs were scared of it and wouldn't even engage with it, possibly because, in addition to jumping around, it has barking and whimpering sound effects (what were they thinking?!?!). 3. If they had played with it as intended, most dogs would grab the tail and shake it side to side. This would result in them getting smacked on either side of the head with the ball, which is hard plastic and has a good bit of mass, due to the electronics and batteries.barbmartbiz
My dog who loves strange noises toys absolutely loved this. He doesn't really care about squeakers but anything that makes different noises he just loves. It also wiggles and rolls around randomly and he LOVED that. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is there is an on off switch which can be easily pushed down by playing with it. I ended up taking it out of the squirrel tail it came in and just putting a regular squeaky ball in that which my female loved. I use the burlap zip up bulk rice bags from warehouse stores for all the torn toys, squeakers that are removed, noise makers. I (and my dog) love this toy. This will be his third one that he has destroyed. 2 of the old version and now one of the new. The new style is way better than the old since they removed the fuzzy tentacles that were easily torn off and ingested causing colorful poop and sometimes blockages. My dogs love this toy. I always know when they do based on how much they play with the toy and how little they want to destroy it. My 20 lb Westie mix will play with his toys that he can thrash till he needs a nap. He even has played tug of war with this Squid and one of the other dogs. Regardless of the fact that my 70lb Australian Shepherd mix could potentially rip this toy apart, she doesn’t. Instead she plays with it. I am reviewing a fluff and squeaker dog toy which is available from Bark. I have a large breed Leonberger dog who enjoys numerous rounds of throw and fetch each day. To assist in stimulating her curiosity I often seek out different forms of toys for her to fetch and retrieve. She loves toys that squeak and can be readily carried in her mouth which after retrieval can be released by me to throw again. I selected this dog toy as is shaped and designed humorously like a bundle of $100-dollar bills. It reminds of all the money that I throw away weekly on dog toys LOL. My dog has played with the toy for over a week and has yet to tear or shred it apart. The squeaker does not appear to function as well as some others that I have purchased from Bark, nonetheless my dog still finds enjoyment with the toy and its slightly audible squeak. My dog LOVES this toy! It makes a crinkle noise when he chews on it and there's a squeaker in the middle. My dog usually likes to chew toys up right away but this one still doesn't have any holes in it after a week of him playing with it! Adorable dog toy, resembling a can. Perfect for even my little 14 lb dog. Very soft and easy for dog to grip. Comes with the squeaker inside. This is a BIG toy! It is full of fun crunchy sounds and TWO squeakers, which both my dogs go nuts for. It is an adorable design with it being a cute ghost that is melting on a stick b/c it is also an ice cream. The seams seem fairly solid, but I don't let my bigger doggo play with it unattended; he probably would be able to rip into it, but can't they all? Great for Halloween, but also just in general. I took away one star only b/c it got dirty almost immediately. I know, it is a ghost, so what other color could it be? But I do wish the fabric wiped clean a little better so it could stay cute longer. Recommended 🙂Amy31
The I Scream Pup is very well made. It is for a medium/large dog 20+ pounds. Our miniature schnauzer loves playing with it. I like that it has a little handle that looks like a popsicle stick that you can hold on to and play tug of war. This is one toy that will last a lot longer than others.
