This is a great toy, however, not so much for my chihuahua. She can't get a hold of the "yoke" so she can't get it to squeak. If they made a version half the size it would be good for smaller dogs. Unfortunately, since it is too big for her to chew on, she lost interest in it within minutes and went back to her other toys to play with. I picked this one because the description says "xs/sm/medium". I guess a chihuahua would be a xxxs. Other than that, it's a great idea and pretty well made. What a fun toy! They both love it, but the younger one won’t let the older one play with it now. Rocky the younger one, He only allows, him and mommy or daddy with him. Plus the crinkle noise is so cool, sort of. It sounds like when he gets into plastic bags he isn’t suppose to have. He loves it all. The big ball, he hasn’t torn it apart yet either which is unheard of with Rocky! It has a spiky ball in it, which he has 3 of in different colors and likes very well too. But this is a fabulous toy for both of them. The textured white, helps with the slip ability, and also allows for a good hold to toss it for them. It also squeaks, so they are in heaven. I can get either one of there attention is an instant just by making a squeak! They go through toys like crazy, and I really wasn’t expecting this to last very lone. This one is for xs-med dogs up to 50 lbs, and one is 71 lbs, and the other 87 lbs. I am going to have to get a couple more for back ups. They and we just love it. Id give the older one his own one, but Rocky would steel both of them, and not let the other one have it at all. So he does fine with when Rocky is out he gets to play……….I think Rocky will come around when its not so new and play with then will be pestering Max to play. Our Jack Russell loves this toy. He open the package himself when it arrived. Though he did chew a portion of the edged off the first half hour, it has survived over a week already so that's better than normal. The material pretty durable the crinkly egg white is attractive to the dog and is great for playing tug of war. It also has weight from the ball in the yolk to aid in throwing it. He also tends to carry it by the yolk rather than the white {I think its just because it is easier to pick up that way.) Once he does chew it up he will still have the ball inside to play with, so it is kind of like two toys in one so it will last longer meaning more bang for your buck.SeriousStuff

My dog loved this- it smells great, the squeaker is awesome and the shape makes it interesting and easy to hold between paws; unfortunately my dog only had it for about 10 mins before it split along the seam where they poured it. If your dog is not as hard as my police K9 I would still recommend it as it may work for you still!ELK571

As you can see in the photos, these are a big hit in my house. They are the size of a traditional tennis ball, but you can squeeze them to make them squeak. My dog’s bite isn’t strong enough to squeak it himself, but he loves it when I do it. He chases these all around the house, and we’ve already lost one in the back yard. My only issue is that it has quite a bit of fuzz around the outside, and when he is done chasing it, he starts pulling at the fuzz. He hasn’t torn it open or anything, but you definitely need to keep an eye on your pup with them.HauteInTX

I would recommend this BARK Lieutenant Kernel Yankee Doodle Dog toy. My dog Leia loved this play toy especially since it has a squeaker and it also krinkled. My dog LOVES new toys and was super excited when I gave him this toy. It’s super soft, has a squeaker, and the yellow popcorn makes a crinkle sound. My dog is about 35lbs so this was a great size toy for him. Big enough for me to throw and him retrieve it, yet small enough that he can grab it with his mouth and take it around the house. We are going on about a week now and he hasn’t destroyed it (yet) so I think we are doing pretty good.Lisa

These are cute made with summer fruit designs but are regular tennis balls with squeakers in them and bounce high. The dogs enjoy them them a lot and it gives the more exercise than just sitting around using chew toys. My smallest min pin is 10 pound with a pretty small mouth and she can play play with it fine. Anything that keeps 4 dogs busy for a long time is highly recommend to me, lol.KitCat

These are a big hit with my dog. They are easier to spot than other dog balls that I've purchased in the past. As far as the dog is concerned this is the greatest invention of all time, a true-blue oldie but a goodie. These balls can be played with indoors and outdoors and they held up to rough play. Fiona and I are big fans of BARK products they are always the best dog toys ever. Fiona is a fourteen lbs. schnoodle. These are small melon looking balls very colorful and perfect size small-medium for a 14 lb dog. She’s a pretty strong chewer and so far these have held up very well no fuzzies pealing off the ball or puncture. She had smaller ones like golf ball size but they kept getting lost under furniture these are more tennis ball size and because they are so colorful not easily lost outside when we play. I bought this a day ago. Loaded it with treats and watched my little pup walk it through the living room. Watched little trails of red plastic litter the floor within the first five minutes. My dogs LOVE this more than any kong toy. They just need to update it to be a sturdy material like the other kong items. It lasted 2-3 months but eventually the dogs tore it to shreds. Literally shreds. I would still re buy it though due to how many hours use we got out of it. But I would rather spend a little more for a better version of this that is just not as prone to being torn up (as other reviewers mentioned and posted pics of, this is eventually what happened to ours, too). I filled with some dog food mixed with some soft training sized treats to really get their attention. Wouldn’t put peanut butter or anything like that in this. Would use it more as a feeder toy with dry or soft treats or food. Not wet though as the hole would be too small for the dogs to be able to get anything like that out. The weighted feeder ball is a great, indestructible similar option to this if you’re needing something to keep them busy for a longer period, it doesn’t break or get torn up, and can be used to feed a full meal as capacity is much bigger. With almost every king toy I always buy up 2 sizes. There’s a lot of reasons but especially due to the smaller ones being easily torn apart. My dogs just prefer the bigger ones anyway. PLEASE NOTE: it’s important to always remove any toys, feeders, bones, or bowls of food if the pup isn’t currently eating, or playing with the item. They’ll learn bad behavior like grazing, guarding, etc. and it can make it very hard for owners to notice when pets are unwell. (Google for more info). This arrived on Friday and by Friday night after my 7 month old Jack Russell Puppy had used it one with kibble in it, it was unsafe. She started to chew little pieces off it and we have had to take it off her. I thought that being a Kong product it would be durable but it wasn't. She did not have it as a toy. it was just used for her kibble to keep her busy while we were eating.JUDY

My boyfriend and I were a little hesitant to get this as we have an American Pitbull Terrier who is a VERY strong chewer. I knew she would like it but the real question was how long would it last? Well it has been over 6 months and the ball is still in one piece. Not because of it's strength or durability but because she simply likes it so much she wont destroy it. Which is a FIRST for a toy with us. I honestly think she knows if she wrecks it she'll never get treats from it again. And I can tell how much she enjoys using it because we can use dog food instead of treats and she is just as content. I can fill her food dish and fill the ball and put them next to each other, she'll always go for the ball because it's so much more entertaining for her to get a meal that way.LOVE the product and would definitely recommend it, will definitely keep your pouch busy when they are bored. So far so good. The size large or medium works for large breeds, since there are only those two sizes. For medium to smaller dogs the size medium would work. We got the large. My dog is 58 lbs and he can still fit it in his mouth. The rubber is good quality and doesn’t have toxic materials. You’re advised to cut the tabs in the openings to customize it for your needs, if necessary. I did that so my dog could get his kibble out more easily.Maya B

I purchased this ball for my senior dog in order to keep her occupied and reduce boredom. I put some kibble into the toy and despite her best efforts she couldn't get any out of the ball. I ended up modifying one of the openings to make it bigger but then when I did that all of the kibble spilled out. Disappointing!Dsibi

The blue/orange chuckit balls are great and loved by the dogs over their original orange/blue ones (those who know understand what I'm saying), but, they don't last long. The squeaker pops out of it's holder inside the ball after about four chomps. Then rattles around inside the ball. Then, after a few days of hard playing, the "plug" pops out of the ball and eventually sinks causing you to buy another one. Hence, why I buy 5 at a time if I can. I love the orange chuck it balls – with the throwing stick they fly a long way (40m with a weak throwing arm). Perfect for my German Shepherd. The orange ones never get chewed through unlike tennis balls. My dog loves squeakers so I thought this would be a perfect ball. Unfortunately, squeaker stopped working after approx 5 hours of play. One fell apart inside, the other I suspect was full of saliva. Also don't buy if you will have them inside, they are too loud with an irritating sound.Chris

I ordered this ball from Chewey.com. My pit bulls destroy every toy I’ve ever gotten for them within the first few minutes so I wasn’t holding much hope that this ball would be any different. When I felt how soft it is my thought was even stronger that in no time at all id be picking up little pieces of this ball from all over the house. Babygirl was so excited to see her new squeaky ball, and with that the dog vs ball match was on! I would have bet money that Babygirl would prove victorious in no time at all, but that didn’t happen. After about 1 1/2 hrs of nonstop chewing on it she exhausted herself, and took a short break. Although the squeaker stopped working the ball was unharmed. When I say that Baby is a aggressive chewer I mean it. Bought Two of these – One for each grand dog home. Shipped to family member where we have Xmas and “Pup Pup”, the resident parcel inspector and delivery announcer went bonkers when the ball was removed from the shipping box. The ball is very rigid plastic which prevents total instant destruction by the doxie tag team that makes short work of any toy in reach. The dog has learned to propel the ball with his feet like in soccer ,all the while barking with every gobble – giggle noise the ball makes when rolled along.Dog seems to like it .Thanks!Elf CAS

I would recommend this toy for a smaller dog or one who is not a powerful chewer. I know this is not intended to be a chew toy, but realistically, if you have a medium or large dog, they usually have a tendency to chew any toy you put in front of them. I have an English Pointer mix who normally destroys any toy I give him unless I get it from BullyMake or BarkBox. Unfortunately, neither offer a toy that compares to this one in terms of entertainment for your dog. He absolutely loved this toy so it is a shame that he was able to bite chucks out of it within 20 minutes. I can't find the pieces that he took out of it so I'm waiting to see if he passes them. If not, it will be a visit to the vet. He was so sad when I took it away from him and looked at me with those sad brown eyes. I would love to have one of stronger material that he could play with and not have to worry. The concept for this toy is spot on and I would give it a positive review for a smaller dog or a breed that is not a strong chewer.pompano01-us

My dog absolutely LOVES this ball. We got her one when she was just a puppy and it’s been her favorite toy since. She’s had it about 6 months and has destroyed it. I don’t mind buying one every six months because I get my money’s worth. Last night I went to buy her a new one, thinking she will have it another 6 months. WRONG. Better than expected by far! These are the full sized tennis balls rather than the smaller version. They are brightly colored, cheerful looking, & easy to find due to their vivid hues. They even have "Happy Birthday" printed on them so if you are one of those cheesy pet parents that like to get gifts for your pups (like me!) then this is a bonus feature. LOL! This dog toy is so cute. First off it says snuggle gum on it, of course this is a game on the word bubble gum! It’s very soft and easily throwable, I play with it with my pup in the house all the time. My pop is not a very voracious chewer but what’s cool about this toy is that inside of it is a second toy. So for example if your dog is a chewer, if he removes the soft cotton outside he will have a surprise toy on the inside. For now, my dog just feels the inner toy with her gums and teeth when she’s playing with it. Definitely recommended and super cute!Floridafun161

My dog loves this little toy. It’s got enough crinkle in it to satisfy him but not annoy the rest of us. The size is just perfect for a medium size dog to carry around. This one little ball filled with the big treat kept our 4month old puppy busy for 2 hours. He did the funniest things, like putting his mouth on it and going around in a circle like he was trying to get the ball out! I purchased the medium size treat ball and the Vanilla Mint refills. My dogs absolutely love this treat. I have two very small dogs. However they will fight over the treat balls. I have one of the small since my dogs are small but the oldest dog can go through the small one in no time at all. So I decided to get my older dog (still very small dog – but determined) a medium size with the Vanilla Mint Treats. The vanilla mint is their favorite flavor. Sometimes I question if my dog is really a dog or some vicious predator of the jungle ! Lola rips everything in her path no matter what material its made from. I would constantly just buy the super cheap toys because I know they would be shredded to pieces in a matter of minutes. One day while walking around my local pet store, I found this heavenly invention. Lola absolutely loves it !!! She's a big puppy so I actually own the large dispenser not the medium. The rubbery material its made from allows it to bounce and give some activity for my puppy. Also, the ridges and holes make it harder for Lola to grasp a good bite and rip it. The only part I don't like is that it doesn't hold well there treats and my baby girl takes it out in seconds and then devours it! I have a Pomeranian and we have always struggled to get her into playing fetch with balls or just her playing with them in general because they’re typically too large for her little mouth. But these ones are the perfect size! I have never found smaller tennis balls for dogs. They are obviously too small for a dog over even just 15 lbs. They would just eat them. The BEST doggy tennis balls, ever! I’ve tried cheaper brands as well as, actual tennis balls and nothing compares to the Kong brand dog toys. My dog Bubba is very hard on his toys. In less than a day he’ll have punctured and tore up the cheap stuff, but with Kong, his toys have lasted forever. These balls are a favorite of our dogs. They love tennis balls but seem to destroy them within moments after a game of fetch. We found our husky to be more destructive when she took the balls into the house after playing outside with them, excited for new balls each time and playing with them until there is nothing left, so when we had seen others with the Kong balls at the dog park, we decided to give them a try and have been purchasing them for the past few years since. You needed a bigger size. Generally, I would recommend sizing up once or twice anyway. The smaller ones are too small and not as thick of material therefore easier for any size dog to tear up. Additionally, if the toy isn’t full of snacks, take it away. Don’t let them chew on the toy itself just as a chew toy. That is another reason why the toy may get damaged. If the dog is focused on getting the snack out, they’ll be much less focused on destructive behaviors and tearing things apart. If you have a puppy, remember they teethe and it HURTS. They self sooth by chewing. Give them things it’s okay to chew on/destroy like Nyla bones (which seriously last forever even in strong determined breeds). Last thing to mention, is that if you really want to go with indestructible, prefer something that’ll keep them busy for a lot longer periods of time, then get the weighted feeder kong balls. I put some dog food into ours along with some soft small very strong smelling treats and my dogs work on this for HOURS. It’s how they get their meals or at least part of their meal each day. You can fed the whole meal this way if you want. They come in different sizes but the biggest size has worked perfectly for all of my dogs (weights range from 35 to 150lbs). They knock it over and the snack or treat falls out of a little hole. Then they keep working on it little by little, it’s really a great option for keeping them distracted! Just be sure to take it away when they’re not using it anymore so they don’t learn to guard it. This is true with any toy, treat, bone, or food. Offer a few times a day then take away when they’re no longer interested. Free feeding is one of the worst habits to start and makes it difficult for owners to tell quickly when something is off with their pet. I learned this the hard way! (Google this if you don’t believe me) I would still consider these Kong balls to be indestructible IF you use them properly. I have huge, strong dogs, a sharp toothed and very busy heeler and both have had theirs for 4 years without incident and not even a puncture mark into either one. I filled with “mini” milk bones and broken in half “small” milk bones but just read another reviewer said they freeze theirs with pnut butter and treats inside. Sounds messy but sounds like a great idea! Cant wait to try! Hope this helps!Momzymo

Amazing! Amazing at entertainment for my dog. Love how we can stick big treats in there and keep him busy whenever we have to leave the house. I think it's a must for training your dog. Be sure to replace it whenever there is damage. As I know a friend's dog had a piece of Kong stuck in his intestine and had to get surgery to remove it. So best to keep the toy until you notice any wear or tear. I like how it has multiple sizes and has really good durability.. this is a really good investment for your dog! We have found many creative ways to entertain our husky/German shep/malamute mutt who has high energy and high affinity to treats. 10/10 would recommend. There's also some Kong specific treats you can find meant to fit into the toy to make it very difficult for the dog to remove it. We like that there is a lot of creative ways to use it. We had two on rotation for when our puppy was teething and needed a lot of attention. Frozen treats allowed for the pup to work on the kong. We use it at home mainly but we do bring it over to our friends house when our dog is staying the night because we are out of town. It's just another tool they can use if they find he needs to calm down and focus instead of rambunctious and playing.terri.n

This is the old classic rubber Kong dog toy. I have the regular size and the small size for my boxer and for my Boston terrier. Its shape causes it to bounce in random directions. My dog absolutely loves this toy. I've put everything in that thing. I have broken up some single ingredient treats and stuffed them in Kong. We refer to my dogs as having ADHD, or a very SHORT attention span, but not with this toy they absolutely love it!! . I put treats as well as peanut butter bananas or yogurt then put them in the freezer. The freezing slows down their ability to clean out the inside quickly so the game lasts a little longer. The rubber is hard enough so they cannot chew through it yet soft on their teeth and gums. The hole is large enough to easily fill the inside as well as wash out the inside after use. Definitely buy multiples so that there are some in the freezer ready to go on those hot days or on those days that you just need a little time to get something done while your dog is occupied. All in all I completely recommend these toys for all dogs of any shape and size.Ysabel

I have a 15 pound dog- it has been impossible to find the perfect size ball. This one is just a bit too small – others have been too big,so at least this is something we can use. Having said that, my dog doesn't play with it much. He seems to prefer hollow balls (I had a great one from Kong, but you can't get their small balls anymore. It's a good ball though. First of all- I tried to add photos and couldn’t anyway- the squeaky lasted almost an hour (that might be a squeaky toy record in our house) Even though at just under $20- it’s pricey for an hour… why did I give this amazing toy 5 stars… let me tell you- First off once the squeaky broke it took him another hour before I realized he popped the squeaky piece out- you know that horrifying feeling of- where is the piece did he eat it? Is he going to choke?- NO – it is made to fall inside the ball- he can not choke on it!!! Major win!!! Now, we have had this ball for almost 2 weeks- it’s still his favorite toy- he plays with it everyday- maybe the smell?? Maybe the fact he can chew and squeeze it but it doesn’t tear? My small dogs (12 and 19 lbs) really seem to like these small balls by playology. They fit in their mouths easily and they seem to like the fact that they can also squeak them. They are easy for them to "catch on a bounce" because of the size. They do not contain fibers like so many of the small tennis ball type ones which is a plus because my dogs chew that material off the ball.JS433
