My Plott Hound is big, hyperactive and obsessive. Several years ago a friend gave him one of these balls and he has been totally focused on it ever since. This past winter he smacked it into the house (brick) when it was 20 degrees outside and the ball cracked. He eventually was able to start taking it apart. Make no mistake, this is a, tough, very good quality product and the Dogs seem to like it, however, on grass this flies and bounces as a normal ball and other Canine owners have even suggested that it is even flies on a truer line, it also does not fit easily into my Chuckit launcher I have tried it on a hard surface but still no particular deviation in direction. My dog has had many of the Hartz Frisky Frolic yellow ice cream cone toys. I keep one at my house and one at my parents house at all times. I have replaced them when they get too dirty to wash. I cannot find that version anywhere. I purchase the "new" version, but my dog doesn't like it because he wants to be able to pick up the toy comfortably in his mouth. He has a very gentle mouth and for a long time he would just carry it around. Now he learned that it squeaks and when he wants your attention he gently squeezes it with a jerk of his big head. This little piggy is so little and adorable – it is the perfect size for small toy size dogs. It contains a squeaker within the body. I purchased this item as a Christmas present for our Maltipom. It is a perfect size for him and he will have no problem toting it around the house. Often even small size toys are just too big for his tiny mouth (he weighs 7 pounds). Like literally this toy is amazing. My dog constantly and I mean CONSTANTLY squeaks her toy all day and all night and it drives me nuts so when I seen this had a silent squeaker I immediately had to get it. My dog plays with this toy more than her others now and you literally cannot hear it. AT. ALL. I was excited to give this plush toy to my furbaby but she didn't really find any interest in it. I squeezed it and she didn't react. She sniffed it for while and just walked into her kennel. I placed it in with her and a couple minutes later I could hear the crinkle that is in the wings of the toy. She played with it a few minutes and that was it. I personally think it's cute, well made and durable. I do like the fact that the toy is made with sustainable material and it has a chew guard lining on the bird's belly. My puppy loves this toy. It's pretty durable and has passed the 2 week mark without being shredded. The best thing about it, is there is no loud squeaking! There is sound, but it just sounds like a huff or breathing out heavily. It has a bunch of different textures. The wings crinkle and I think is one of her favorite parts to chew on.Ruve
