Purchased this product with not much confidence made a huge difference in my GSD allergies. Sprayed on the area he was chewing when he would begin chewing. It gave him instant relief, he now comes to get the area sprayed when he chews. I am going to use the same product which is an ointment to see how well it does. My avid little mouser cat caught herself a little prize just a few days before a month-prior planned trip my husband and i were unavoidably about to go to. Apparently that mouse had bitten her back in the process, right on her tender little lip cleft! Before we knew it, that bite had gotten infected so bad she became lethargic, her face swollen an angry shade of red, she could not eat or even drink on her own and she could not even close her mouth and was drooling on herself. Because of the covid situation and proximity of timing to our trip to see family, there was no way to get her to a vet in time before we had to leave in 3-4 days. So we did the best we could with a dropper to feed and water her and rushed out to get Vetericyn to help stave off the infection which reduced the angry redness to a healthier pinkish. For the very few days we had before we had to go, I was keeping her hydrated and was spraying her face with the Vetericyn regularly (as directed) even as we headed out the door with one last treatment. We did cut our weekend trip short by a day out of concern for her, but when we came back she was doing significantly better in that the swelling was down, but was reddened again. Using this for hot spots on my canine, this stuff does work but it sometimes can take up to 2 8oz. Bottles to heal the area's treated. Not sure if it's the strength of medicine or just those stubborn spots. I caught the spots early on and started treating them immediately and have been treating them for a month now and they are getting better but slowly, these things are stubborn. I can say that absolutely nothing else I tried worked. Believe it or not, I read online the other day that rubbing Pepto Bismol on hot spots actually works, you heard right, Pepto Bismol. After doing some research online, I bought this to heal myself of arthritic burrs, plantar facets, Achilles tendonitis, hip and back pain. I mixed it with 30% almond oil and some lavender oil. I use this on my friesians mane, tail and feathers. This keeps the scratches at bay and helps to keep her hair growing long. I have been told some horses have issues with burns, so I apply it at night when she’s in her box for quite a while. Baby oil can also cause burns too if they are put out in the sun with it on. This is a staple in my grooming bag! Shake it up real nice and apply to area. It is greasy and smells like bacon. It works. I like to use it where the horses have rubbed hair off. Bought a couple weeks back hoping to help with terrier/chi/corgi mix who accumulates massive amounts of buildup in her fur on the lower part of her eyes. The problem is, she has to eat it first and she refuses. Even when we've coated it with bacon grease or something she likes. This is a common issue with she and her brother. They both eat like pigs and we have to be careful with them. But, when we give them any kind of chewable, they just spit it out. If we wrap it or otherwise try and disguise it, they manage to eat everything but the item we need them to consume. It's very frustrating. I will always have a bottle of Banixx in my house now. I have a Great Dane mix that has severe skin sensitivities. I can't say if this works for daily care, but it definitely helps my cats calm down when they get spring ""craziness."" It is especially bad this year; perhaps because feral cats have moved back into the neighborhood, after having been removed about a year ago. Usually, they ""go at it"" once a year or so. This time around, it has been 3 times in 7 weeks. Before, the stress lasted longer, but with longer intervals between. Since the freqeuncy of fights has increased, I decided to try this.
