My fur baby has I think a very bad yeast infection n her ear and itching n prob an earache. I read all positive reviews on this product. Helps for pain, itching,swelling and kills mites plus the infection rather its yeast or bacterial. And its super cheap! If this works like all their other products, I want to personally thank the founders! For being the only products that have helped my baby when Ive spent prob $2000 or more at the vet and they havent helped her AT ALL!!! But these products have! Especially the pink bottle of conditioner ! It has made her skin and coat sooo pretty, shiny n healthy!! After just 1st use!!! No more dry itchy skin or hardly any dandruff which she had all of those bad. Even after the 1st use now!!! When I was buying $30 bottles of shampoo at vet monthly. $65 allergy shots month plus antibiotics, vet visit cost $79, steroids, atarax. And yet that 1 vet formula bottle of conditioner worked 100000xxx better after 1st use!!! With zero side effects unlike the steroids that made her gain ton of weight! I clean my cocker's ears every 7 to 10 days with ear wash and use the non-alcohol canine ear wipes a couple of times a week for maintenance but every few months she'll get stinky, yeasty ears. My vet has prescribed several different treatments but none have worked as well as the Surolan drops. On day 3 she stopped scratching and rubbing them and by day 4 the smell was completely gone. After the 7 day treatment was completed I cleaned them out really good and to my surprise there was very little discharge. I highly recommend this product. I’ve been using Zymox for years. My terrier mix has Ear Edge Dermatitis. It’s incurable and usually tears up the edges of the ear from constant cell overgrowth (auto immune) and dogs will be plagued with constant ear issues and itching. I had used this before, without success for my cocker spaniel. So, this was my 2nd attempt. It worked great in 1 ear, but not the other. I've always liked Zymox products, but this one really impressed me! GSD/BC mix has had continual ear issues since having a hematoma drained in her right ear. The ear lays over and is full of thicker tissue which seems to hold in a ton of moisture. This last bout of pain and scratching was making her (and me!) absolutely crazy and, after a week of use, the regular Zymox I always have on hand just wasn't cutting it. I did a bit of searching and found the Zymox plus advanced formula and figured I'd give that a try before resorting to a vet visit, antibiotics, steroid drops, etc. After the second day of use, she stopped shaking her head, scratching and whining. I've tried the Veterinary Formula Clinical Care Antiseptic and Anti fungal Spray for Dogs and Cats on a few of our outside cats. They've been deflead but one still kept scratching and losing fur just above her tail. I'm not sure if it's an allergic reaction to the fleas or if it's the result of a thyroid problem. But we tried this spray and the itching stopped immediately. It's been almost 3 weeks and she still isn't scratching it. I also wanted to try this on some ringworm that a few of the outside cats have. I've been spraying this on for almost 3 weeks now but haven't really seen any improvement with the ringworm spots that I'm treating. Ringworm can respond slow to treatments anyway so I'm not sure if this is going to help with that or not. The spray is a pump and it has a light citrus smell, kind of like oranges. It will not harm your pet if they lick it. It didn't list a minimum age that you can use it on. It contains Chlorhexidine Gluconate, Keratin, and Aloe Vera. It's listed as an antifungal, antimicrobial, and antibacterial. To use this you just spray the area tell really wet, twice daily for a week, then once daily for another week. I read the reviews for this product but was still a bit skeptical for it to actually work. One of my cats (2 yr old orange tabby) literally scratched the size of a 50 cent bare spot (literally overnight) in center of his back below shoulder blade. By the end of the day the circle was warm red inflamed and gross. Being on a tight budget I did my research for home remedies. First I began applying a year old vet prescribed Dermalone antibiotic that was prescribed for one of my other cats for 3 days but area got worse. Then began applying Neosporin for 2 days lightly on and around scab now and ( luckily the spot was where he could not reach to lick off) and it did nothing as well. A week later purchased this product, followed the directions and a week later the area was completed healed. Scab dried and fell off and new skin looks perfect and normal. Unfortunately I dont know what this was for did not take him to a vet. Infected area did resemble pictures of ringworm online. I am so thankful to have found this today! My poor dog could not stop scratching and licking under his front legs, and they were raw and bleeding. He was whimpering but would not stop. My poodle has a lot of ear hair that needs to be cleaned often. In between baths, the smell can get kinda funky. Used this ear rinse to see if it would help and it does. It keeps the waxy smell away longer but it's not mask any existing smells. It's easy enough to use and my dog doesn't seem to mind it too much. Other products have a smell and my dogs walk around smelling like it after getting their ears cleaned. I have an English Cocker, with long heavy ears. She is prone to ear infections. My vet recommended this product. I put it into both ear canals, and then rub the top of the ears for 30 seconds, making sure I get that wet, squishy sound. I do it three times a week, and she has not had an ear infection for 2 years! The only negative is that it has a little bit of a chemical/perfume smell while it is still wet. As soon as it dries, there is no smell. When the house is cold, I put the container in the microwave for about 5 seconds. It's much more pleasant for her to have warm solution going into her ears.Joan

Before applying the product I had the vet do and ear flush just so that when I applied the medicine it would be on a clean as possible ear. My poor baby's ear was red and swollen and I could see crusty stuff starting to come out I applied as directed on package and by the next day there was a definite difference his redness was down to a pink color and the swelling was down even tho per vet instructions it said to apply once a day for 10 days I did not feel the need to complete the 10 day dosage because by the 3rd application his ear was back to normal. It says it will get rid of bacteria, viruses and is antifungal, which sounds like it ought to cover everything. My kitten has that typical dark brown stuff in her ears. It didn't work better than the standard cat ear cleaners. I used it almost daily for two weeks or so. It loosens the gunk so you can wipe it out but doesn't get rid of it at it's source, which is the whole point. There's new dark brown gunk still being made down in her ears daily. I rescued a dog. He had bad ear mites, took care of those with mineral oil. Took him to a vet and for the same old make money bit, he had an ear infection. So, he got antibiotics orally. Then he kept showing signs of pain, itching etc..,but the smell let me know from his ears he had a bad yeast infection. Being a nurse I tried several home remedies to no avail. I looked around online for something non prescription and not expensive that would have something to kill yeast. Dr. Gold's has ketoconazale. I've used almost one bottle now, his ears are clean of the brown / black discharge. He's feeling better 100% now and I am thankful for this stuff! Saves me a lot, no return to the vet. It has killed the yeast infection, the stank yeast smell is about gone. I use it once a day. I used to spend so much $ taking my dogs to the vets for ear infections, because every time they got a bath they would end up with water in your ears and get an ear infection and of course the vet would make me come in to get an antibiotic! So you pay an office visit and then you pay for the antibiotic and a test to see what the problem is very expensive! I have four dogs, the most recent being a Saint Bernard. While I knew floppy eared dogs had more of a risk of ear infections, I didn't really think a Saint Bernard's ears were that floppy. Well after two ear infections that I went to the veterinarian for meds, I talked to a longtime Saint Bernard owner who said they keep their own personal supply of ear meds on hand. So I started searching…I read nothing but great reviews about this product, so I purchased. Once it arrived, conveniently my Saint Bernard had started to develop that ear funk smell and redness. I began using it as the bottle instructed and low and behold the ears got 100% better within days! I now use this regularly when ear problems start to arise and the wax starts to build up. My cat has had a chronic ear issue for the past year or so, has developed acute swelling in his face and most recently suddenly developed a large lump under the affected ear. He has been treated by the vet w/ various meds and is on Prednisone. Everything tried has only worked temporarily and his ear and sinus infections have become chronic. He is 15 and the vet doesn't give hm much chance at improving. He has had various allergy issues most of his life. Regular ear cleanings by the vet seemed to improve his condition, so when I found out about Zymox I decided to give it a try. Well, after 7 days of treatment, the lump has all but disappeared and his sinuses are finally draining, reducing the swelling in his face ! I chose Zymox Hydrocortisone free because of all the meds he's been bombarded with, will treat him for 14 days to see where this takes us, but am VERY optimistic ! The vet is impressed and since he knows about Zymox, am disappointed he didn't recommend it sooner. The only problem now is he had gone off his food and I have been finger feeding him as well as spritzing water into his mouth. He had lost 2lbs from refusing food, but seems to be bouncing back. My English Bulldog has constant yeast in his ears. I love this product because it smells nice and is easy to apply into my dogs ears with it's applicator. I massage it into his ears for a minute and then wipe out the excess with a cotton ball. Makes his ears clear up quickly and smell much better!alexandra.s

Delivered in two days. This product seems to be working as advertised. My Great Pyrenees had a yeast infection in her left ear. I tried other products but they didn't help. My Lab/Weimaraner has the biggest floppiest most beautiful soft and silky ears in the world. When he shakes his head they flap sheets on the clothesline on a windy day. But they were itchy and smelly and he had gotten sores on the tips of them from flapping them into things, He was miserable, I was miserable. The ear flush the vet gave me was less than useless and my dog hated it. I bought Zymox ear cleanser and Zymox Otic with hydrocortisone. Once I had used the cleanser a few times I swithched to the Zymox Otic and he is cured. I put the Zymox Otic in his ears now about once a month for maintenence and we are both happy again! No more groaning and scratching, no more smell no more frustration.Greger

Ordered this product after doing research online for what I was SURE was an ear infection in our American bulldog, but was hesitant to get another large vet bill after a recent eye injury that left us $500 in the hole. Wasn't sure at first that this product was working, my dogs ear was cherry red, inflamed, smelly and scabbed over due to his scratching at the ear. After the first few treatments the ear was not looking much improved and was still really 'yucky.' But we decided to wait it out and follow through with the treatment and let me say, today was day 5 and our pup woke up looking 99% improved! Ear is almost back to normal color, swelling down, smell gone. I plan to finish out 7-10 days of treatment but WOW! Happy to have found a much cheaper and effective alternative to the vet!Brittany M
