I decided to try this product, because it was more economical than others I'd used. This has proven to be a mistake. We have a house of pets including cats and a dog along with carpeted bedrooms. This means during the Spring and Summer we have to clean and vacuum daily and keep on top of flea prevention otherwise it is a nightmare! Anyone with pets and carpets understands. Since we live in the South very few flea products actually work for our animals and I’m not sure why, but it has to do with the fleas and immune to so many products. I gave PetAction Plus for Cats and PetAction Plus for Dogs a try and kept my fingers crossed. When this arrived one of my cats was starting to scratch – whether flea related or just an itch I’m not sure, but with it being that time of the year I wasn’t taking any chances and immediately put a dose on her as directed by the packaging (on the skin between the shoulder blades). So far since putting it on I have not seen her scratch once. I also made sure to apply a dose to the other cats who were due for their flea prevention and the dog as well. Again, no scratching. In the past, I have given my dog oral medication to prevent flea and ticks. It worked well but I was never comfortable with the fact that he had to ingest the medicine. I decided we’d use a topical solution for this summer and this is working great so far. The application was easy and the the applicator worked well. I’ve had to apply a different brand on foster puppies in the past and sometimes, the liquid would just all flow right out during the first contact, leaving no medicine for the rest of the dog’s back. I have 2 very picky dogs, whom despite not having table food, turn their noses up at a LOT of treats, and meals. I had to cancel a subscription box I had for them because they only liked the toys and not the treats. I also have tried many different oral flea meds and the same thing, they will not eat it, no matter how I try to mask it in cheese or chicken, they could just smell it. With these, it doesn't have that chemical/grassy smell, and I have no issues giving it to them wrapped in chicken. They don't like to eat it by itself, but if I leave it on the floor long enough, they will eventually eat it. Bathed my shih tzu in dawn and removed 6 fleas with a flea comb. Let her dry. Checked and re checked her to make sure she had no fleas. Applied Pet Armor at 7pm. I breed Chihuahuas and I also foster cats/kittens. My Chihuahuas are litter box trained so they rarely get fleas because they dont spend a whole lot of time outside. I use fipronil for my work on bed bugs and other insects and I know this product works. I use your product for my dog and it works great. Fipronil being the ingredient in certain bed bug products is one of the best chemicals for the control of tough to kill insects. It works wonders on parasites of wild and domestic animals and is safe to work with by following the directions. It's basically odorless so dogs and cats dont mind the application. It takes a few days to kill but it last a very long time and some people dont give it time to work. So far, so good. I've been using this product as a generic alternative for Frontline Plus for about a year now. Applicator: The applicator is similar as the one from Frontline Plus and I would argue that it's easier to open. The product itself looks and smells like FLP which you would expect with the same active ingredients. Use: My dog's skin will be oily in the application spot for several hours but again, no different than FLP. I have tried alternative products with different active ingredients and they had to be applied in several locations on the dog's back and would remain very oily for days meaning that whenever the dog came into contact with furniture, there would be huge oily spots. This has not been the case with Petarmor. I typically apply it in the morning before going to work and then crate my dog while at work. When I return, the product is completely absorbed into the skin and I don't have to worry about oily residue on my hands or furniture. Efficacy: In the last year, we have had one tick on our dog that had actually attached while using this product. The 2 years prior, we also had one occurence of a tick attaching using FLP, so no difference there. If anything, maybe I'm not using it correctly or frequently enough? Either way, the ticks were relatively easy to pull out and the dog showed no signs of disease or illness. We also had one occassions where although the ticks did not attach to our dog's skin, they did use the dog as a vehicle to get into our house. I think the active ingredient kept them from attaching but didn't keep them from staying off of her. They ended up crawling on our floor but I was able to kill them. Neighbors are completely infested, and now we have them too. I have been trying my absolute best to make sure we don't end up like them. I used the hotshot fogger and was bitten the same night. So much effort cleaning and inconvenience for something that only seemed to kill my house flies. After reading I decided to get alpine wsg, but I needed some relief until it came in. Im always skeptical of Walmart pet products but after reading reviews I decided on the Adams fleas and tick. I sprayed my bed the couch (the dogs sleep on both) and my entire upstairs carpet. I haven't been bitten in 2 days. I know they'll be back and ive many more things to do, but this spray works. Their is a funky smell but it's not really that bad as suggested by reviews and I didn't notice it even 15 minutes after spraying. The product seems good but the bottle isnt. Spray isnt consistent, and it leaks a bit, I got it all over my hands. Might want to wear gloves if that's a thing you're worried about, but it definitely killed adult fleas same day. Would buy again, probably would put it in a better sprayer myself.

If you are already infested, the reality is there is no one step. Treat your animals your house and your yard same day, if you don't nothing will seem to work. Me personally I'd rather properly use what the exterminators use. I think alot of people write reviews same day. They'll be back. Keep your house clean, treat your pets with a 30 day option, treat every room in the house even if you think there's no activity and treat your yard too. Don't leave a stone unturned and when you think your problem is over, do it again. If that's too much for you, consider an actual exterminator. I have 2 indoor only cats and somehow became infested with fleas in my apartment. I tried home remedies to no avail and couldn't stand seeing them so uncomfortable. Today I bought flea foggers and Adams flea and tick spray, after applying the spray while on my white tile bathroom floor I saw them jumping off. So, having nothing better to do I say there watching them squirm and die for about five minutes when both cats, who rarely sleep together crawled into my lap purring and immediately fell asleep together. They got some much needed relief. I'm not sure how long it'll kill future fleas but I've bombed the house and will continue to apply the spray lightly until I don't see any activity. I think we'll all sleep well tonight and hopefully the problem is taken care of finally. I highly recommend this product. I bought these chews for a couple years. For my two dogs and then another 3 dogs that belong to my daughters. The dogs love them and they work really really well. I would rattle the jar and they would all come running 1 did the trick for at least 3 or 4 weeks . Within a few hours the fleas seem to be better . You can re administer as needed and I only had to do that I think the first time when I bought them in the fleas were really bad . When Coronavirus came and we had to start social distancing and staying at home I decided to order something off of Amazon. Now let's break it down $59.53 divided by 30 days of the month that's a $1.98 per day to protect your baby. I do agree it could have had a lot more stuff to help with the fleas & ticks. Now the reason I said it won't work for me, is because I have 21 babies so instead of buying 1 bottle a month I would be buying 3 1/2 bottles. I bought these drops for all the dogs. Put it on. Took about 3 days to completely soak into the coat but ticks have been unable to attach which is great. After months and months of continuously attempting to get rid of fleas in the home, I finally decided to try a more expensive flea treatment for the cats (indoor cats, have always been indoor cats, previous home occupants had pets which is where the fleas came from!) this Advantage started to work straight away! You could see the little buggers surfacing to the top of the cats coat and you could tell they were dying as they were slowing down. 3 weeks later and cats are flea free! Definitely use a spot on treatment at the same time as a home treatment to ensure no fleas jump back on the cats. I bought these because I needed decent but reasonably priced flea treatment for my 7 8 week old kittens.. The delivery was abit slower than i anticipated and the boxes were a bit battered but not so badly that the vials were damaged. I put this on the kittens as directed and within a few minutes tgey were all scratching, (possibly due to the effect that it had on any fleas they had) but other than that they all just acted normally. It has now been over 36 hours since they were treated with it and they are all still happy and healthy. My husband and I have tried so many of these flea products, it's ridiculous. The gels/whatever that you put on the back of their neck are SO hard to use and SO easy to mess up. You're only supposed to put them on skin, but the amount in the tubes is so much that it's impossible! We were religious with them for 3-4 months and nothing! Yes, the cats hate the sound the spray makes (all sprays sound like hisses), so you better have a second person to scruff your cat. I would also recommend cutting their nails the day before just in case. However, the stuff actually works! If you know anything about the flea life (and death) cycle, you'll still be seeing adult fleas on your pets until all the eggs have hatched from the environment. However! After just the first treatment, I picked adult fleas off all my cats and put one at a time in a Tupperware container. The fleas don't have coordinated movement and just sit there and twitch, which means they will soon be dead! And then they die! I even got one flea that seemed just fine, but after a day it was twitching and shortly died. This is the best stuff ever and is nearly idiot proof! Seller would not take back unused product nor refund any part of the money I spent for a product which did not work after three applications (might have killed 20% of the adult fleas each time). Mfr says it takes 3 months to kill fleas and product (coincidentally) lasts three months; so I would be spending nearly $25/month and then I have to start the process all over again by spending another $70 dollars?? I have bought five bottles of this so far because I like the product that much. It’s easy to attach to your garden hose and you’re able to treat a large area with one container. I like to use this heavily right on the woods line of my yard and then cover the grass. The ticks are horrible right now in NH and I feel this product really helps control them. The scent is also not overbearing and I actually enjoy it. It smells very natural and dissipates rather quickly. I’ve treated my lawn twice so far this year only because it ended up raining the following day after treatment. Overall, I really like this brand. Really strong. I used a little spot-check in the worst places because of the odor. Peppermint oil is also supposed to be good for rats which we also have this year after 12 years. I used Dr Brimmer's for that & liked it quite a bit. This stuff is really strong so be careful. I had also previously used some ENFORCER powder but that didn't seem to knock them out enough. You can keep spraying this, seems like there's more left over but like I said, it's very strong, be careful. Unfortunately, fleas & rats are abundant this year.Adrienne

Beejers (a rescue Pom-Chi) is just 7 lbs and I used the expensive stuff on him the first 3 months when he came to his forever home with the 2 Bengals & I, cuz it said "WATER-PROOF". Beej is a real stinky little thing & needs bathing often. He loves his baths & will go & jump in the shower when HE thinks he needs one! Fat chance of that expensive stuff being water-proof !! Poor little guy got a TICK in his little ear & brought in a few FLEAS between monthly applications. I have had lymes & am petrified of ticks. A herd of deer (notorious for dropping fleas & ticks) cross/graze on the lawn daily. Have used Sentry Fipro on the cats for 8 yrs. with excellent results, so ordered some for him. Beejers has used Fipro 15 months now, gets 3-4 baths per month and has NEVER had fleas or ticks since using Fipro & he is an outdoors lover. Mosquitos hover but DO NOT lite even on his nose. We already had a dog so I used the shampoo we already had at home this bright orange fleas and ticks one and over 10 fleas got out of her coat and died within that ONE bath! This shampoo does not work, never have. I thought it would have improved over the years but it hasn't. All it does is put the fleas to sleep while soaking the dog for at least 10 minutes. The moment my dog is dry, the fleas are back biting. I don't see how this company is still in business selling this product. I once gave my dog a bath once a week for 3 weeks and still the fleas were there. This product is a verified looser. After washing my two dogs, I only got a few dead ticks to come off in the bath. I picked the rest of the alive ticks off by hand. I put them in a jar to see how long it would take for them to die. My findings show that this stuff is great for increasing the tick population. Only a month later, not only are the ticks still alive but they have even laid eggs and some have hatched. There are new ticks looking for their first meal.Carlyle
