Dog Intestinal Parasites Treatment For Sale (2024 Update)

My vet recommended Interceptor as I was convinced my sweet Greyhound became ill every month when I gave her Heart Guard. She would have an upset stomach and diarrhea for days after receiving it. My vet explained I wasn't crazy, some dogs were indeed allergic to the main ingredient in Heart Guard but still need protected from heart worms so suggested Interceptor as it did not possess the ingredient making my dog ill. He was right! Six months now on Interceptor and she happily takes it burried in a piece of cheese (it is a hard chew instead of a soft chew like Heart Guard), and remains ill/symptom free. Wonderful product for a dog with allergies to Heart Guard!!Kimberly

This is GREAT for my dog. It was prescribed, over other heart worm meds, because she has a slight detection of heart murmur. We've been using this product her whole life and are happy with it. I usually wrap the flavored tab in a soft treat or piece of meat, or even just stick it in peanut butter on another treat and she'll eat it right up. Only a few times, she's taken it completely by itself. It's a small-flat-like hard texture, so not something she's used to. We're happy with interceptor.Justine F

Well the wormer came quick. I have German Shepherds so the price was great since there are 6 in the package and my dogs each got two tablets. They were a bit hesitant to eat them but with a little coaxing they did. It was a routine worming so unsure if it was effective or if they had worms. Very happy with this product. We have a new pup from shelter, fostered and adopted. He had received one dose of dewormer at shelter intake. Noticed tapeworms in his stool and dead ones in kennel. Immediately started looking for dewormer that covers tapes. Was able to purchase this with the help of a friendly female employee. I've been using this for a few years now. I've never seen a single flea or tick on Maggie until 2 days ago. We walked near some wooded areas that day and I found a tick on her that night. Our dog could not take oral flea preventative, as they made her very ill and lethargic. She was then placed on a topical solution, which worked for years before the fleas became immune. She is allergic to fleas, which created quite a dilemma. My daughter recommended Credelio that she gives her young dog after he also had a negative reaction to an oral medication. Our vet does not carry Credelio, so we contacted Entirely Pets, and are pleased to report, that our elderly dog was able to ingest it easily (it must taste okay, too) and the fleas are gone.Marsha

Yesterday morning, I purchased Credelio for my 15 lbs dog. She had been itching with fleas for about one week. I needed a prescription to purchase and the vet I've been taking her is nearly impossible to get in to see since Covid restrictions began. I took her to another vet in my mom's town to get the prescription so finally could place the order. Worming tablets have always made my dog vomit. I thought I would try the syrup…..success, he happily ate some chicken and pasta with the syrup on it.The results have been fine and he has passed plenty of worms.wip_uk_hvutzrn3wf

Bought this for my 8 year old dog,every worming tablet I have tried after(and I have tried a lot over the years!) a great struggle to get it down him he has been sick.I used a syringe straight down! I had tried different things over the years, even combination of products, but nothing seemed to work at protecting my pets not only from heartworms but fleas at the same time. I am a firm believer in using as little chemicals as possible on my pet's so I was constantly having to treat the home, and everything due to this. Then my vet, at the time, suggested Sentinel. I have not stopped using it since! Rarely is there an issue with fleas, and the once a month pill is a snap! Been using Sentinel for years now. Used to use Trifexis but our 15lb terrier mix had so many scary side effects (star-gazing, head-shaking, and disorientation) that our vet insisted we switch. Glad we did because we haven’t had one side effect. We also love the added flea protection. And it’s a reasonable price as well!Beano911

We have a 57 lb Border Collie mix who loves the outdoors. He is walked everyday throughout our neighborhood, on trails and in the woods. We also have a large fenced in yard that he spends a good amount of the day in. He has never had 1 flea in the 4.5 years we’ve had him while using Sentinel Flavor Tabs. The toxicity is always a concern with flea/tick products but we don’t not want him to be infested with fleas either. He seems to tolerate it without issues and will readily eat one hidden in a piece of cheese. I only wish it worked for ticks too.kimbery.d

We have been using Revolution on our kitty since he was 6 months old. He came to us from the shelter with coccidia and roundworm. No matter how hard we tried, the roundworm refused to clear. After reading that Revolution is the only flea product that also deals with parasites, we requested an RX from the vet. Within two weeks of starting him on Revolution, the roundworm finally cleared. He is now 3.5 years old, and he has never had another positive parasite test since. He is tested at least twice a year, because we walk him on-leash. He munches on grass where fleas could easily hitch a ride. Very effective product. I just wish it hadn’t doubled in price over the last year. The first time we put it on him, his fur disintegrated a bit at the application site. However, that has never occurred again in the three years since.zkid

I have a very picky eater Schnauzer. I can’t tell you how much money I spent oral flea medication and she would not eat it. I tried every trick. Then I went to over the counter transdermal flea medication. After applying, my dog for days acted like it was burning her, then there was this greasy spot on her fur. My vet suggested Revolution. Our dog does like like many of the flea Rx on the market, so we switched to Revolution a long time ago. She deals with it well. Usually, she will try to rub it off, so we take her on a really long walk, so she will forget about it. When we couldn’t get Revolution for a brief time, we were told that she could do K9 Advantax II. Our dog had a very bad 3 day reaction to that, I think it was because of the permethrin that is in it. So I’m so glad Revolution is available again, and bought her several doses right away. Never saw any fleas on her while using it.OrganizerPro

Not only do I own pets, I work in pet care. Normally, I only keep my dogs on flea control since my cats don't go outside and I've never had a problem. Well, one or two of the little demons followed me home from work and must have started a family. When we noticed fleas on the cats I panicked. My vet told me they only sold the flea collars, but just like the topical flea control at the pet stores, I wasn't comfortable using them because the cats groom each other. I searched online for an oral flea medication and found Comfortis. I had to break the pills up a bit, but all four of my cats at them like treats and had no stomach upset. Just remember to give the meds with a meal as the package instructs. Fleas were gone after a day. I washed all the bedding and treated my carpets after that and haven't had a problem since. I now recommend Comfortis at work to all my clients. It's easy, fairly priced and does exactly what it says it does.TayRaisedByWolves

She suggested Comfortis [petsize : Dogs, 60-120 lbs; supplyfor : months-6] and wow was we amazed!! I suggest talking it over with your vet first and purchasing from your veterinarian ONLY! Please don't leave your animals health up to something ordered online… don't take that chance! Our vet suggested taking that 1 $20-$25 pill and quartering it into 4 pieces, 1 for our dog and the other 3 for the cats a piece. Let me tell ya within 30 mins the fleas were falling off on a white sheet. It's suggested use Comfortis monthly but we only had to do the treatment a couple of times and problem gone. Fleas no more! Years ago I had a dog that was always on flea meds but she was chewing right at her tail and her feet. It was just awful. I tried everything. Changed her food, allergy meds, etc. then someone told me to try Comfortis – apparently even on flea meds if a dog gets one flea bite and is allergic she will scratch horribly and chew her feet. Put her on Comfortis and it stopped! Her hair all grew back. I'm a total believer in Comfortis!donna

our herd of barn cats are impossible to catch all at one time, so.. using a dropper to dose one at a time doesn't work. I have found that adding to water dish is the perfect way to get them all treated. you can also add to food but in our case there are a couple of greedy cats that might eat all the food before some of the smaller ones get any. however they all drink water according to their size (weight) so I feel it's the best way to treat multiple animals easily.alagiorchin0

Trifexis is a good all around heartworm and flea preventative. Also works on internal parasites. Shadow takes it without issue and has had no reaction to it. Since taking it, he has not had any fleas on him and it has helped his flea allergy also. He's a happy boy. Takes it year round since we live in South Carolina and the winters are usually mild.Lynda

I have been using trifexis since it came out many years ago! It was mentioned to me by my vet who sits on the liscenceing board in TN. I have used it with my dogs past and present! I can't imagine having a dog and trifexis not being a part of it! I know exactly how it's going to act in my dogs systems and in my opinion, I wouldn't trust anything else for Finn or Rocky ever! It works! Thank goodness something that works. I used to use a popular topical flea and tick medicine that worked great out in the West, North West and North East part of the country but for some reason not here in the south. We tried several flea and tick medications before we found this little gem. I’m so happy we found a flea medication that works in Florida. The only thing I don’t like about this is, its does not include a tick repellent and it’s really hard to get my dog to eat it. It really must not taste good. This is a great dewormer to ensure it covers all the internal parasites. Small tablet and easy to hide in cheese and be eaten without being noticed. We used this for our toy poodle pup, you just also have to buy something for fleas, ticks and mites seperately.Gen

I love the auto ship option as it lets me forget to do another job each month. Buy the product. But, could you change the Milbemax Broad Spectrum Wormer for Dogs 2 tabs to an option to every three months as this is how it is administered. Then I could set and forget for this important medication for my dogs. Maybe human chemists to take a page out of your innovative book.!Helen

I always use colombia labs pyrantel pamoate but decided to be cheap and try this one. It works just as good as the one from colombia labs. I would recommend it.jayo1981

Easy to give- my puppy loved the taste. It’s pretty thick which means I give it a little at a time. It’s nice because it has more than one dose and you need at least two to clear up the issue.Csrhowell

This product was used on our pup at 6weeks 8 weeks then 10 weeks. She still has worms and have to take her to the Vets to get something that works. Not impressed with this stuff at all. Says it’s flavored so puppy will drink it right up. We had to put it in formula or she would t touch it. Used it on our whole litter. Some pups threw up after there dose, some refused it all together so we had to just put it down there throat which we hated and others drank it in milk or yogurt. Puppy we rescued had bad case o worms. We started with this one and administered once every other week. Worms were coming out so we thought was working. Well by end of treatment she still had them. We ended up trying dosages closer together and eventually went through entire bottle. Didn't work.Herm

I just want to share our experience with the Veterinarian formula clinically care Dog shampoo. I just moved into this apartment complex Jun 2019 and on June 26 2020 picture one. We had a opportunity to rescue this beautiful black dog with some white under her neck (red when we got her because of the leash the lady had on her was twice the size she should’ve had and it rubbed her neck raw where she tied her outside). So as soon as we seen her we knew we wanted to bring her to our loving home where I share my home with my fiancé and 3 children. The ages 12,15,&18. So that day we brought her home and because she was tied outside a lot so with that . We immediately gave her a flea and tick bath and used Walmart brand flea and tick repellent. For her to wear around her neck (Now think about it … her life has completely changed at this point and she was loving it)Then we allowed her to roam the house and to find her spots. All she came with was a cage for her size a bag of Ol Roy and a 2 way oversized hoodies. The lady said here is her food and she’s uses the bathroom outside (obviously) and I asked how will she tell me she has to go? She said not to worry she’ll let ya know then she laughed…. Since having her home after a few hrs she started to warm up us… trusting us. She came with dog food she refused to eat!! Absolutely refused so we got her kibbles and bits and she loves it!! She was wagging her tail with enjoyment and happiness! So I figured she was ok with us. As far as her activity she was active she wasn’t showing a bit of grieving one bit as far as we could tell. (However, with going to the bathroom situation she was horrible at first peed everywhere and pooped behind couches and such but I’ve converted over to puppy pads.) THAT WAS A JOB! yay! Then over a few weeks I noticed her itching and scratching and over the weeks progressively gotten worse… The second Picture (Waiting at the Vets in the floor of the car) I took her to the Vet see if it’s allergies,nerves, etc . Because it started out of no where with no warning signs other then the scratching and scratching so he prescribed a steriod to take at home and a shot of steroids an with giving her those it chilled her down from scratching as much as she was and seemed to be helping but the after a few months she has now gotten even worse than she was she was bleeding all over!! The third picture is her second time to the vet trying to get more information and help not a lot was given but he did say he believes it may be a a airborne allgrine and she would need a shot every 6-8wks she is clothed we couldn’t bare showing how her skin looked was awful (winter she was bare skin with several abrasions where she begun biting herself )😭😭 so after that visit I researched Amazon for help researched google and ran across this shampoo and God am I so ever glad because after a few washes here she is today looks sooo shiny she now looks like picture number 4&5 !!!! Adopted a pocket bully from a lady 2 weeks ago and noticed he had what she called 'hotspots' ALL OVER him. We felt so bad and wanted to do something quick but wasn't sure wat it was exactly that he was enduring. So we picked up coconut oil and fish oil pills to start him on for his coat and skin. Well as healed within a week but noticed REALLY inflamed and almost bleeding rashes on back of his neck and knew we had to do something. Went to Walmart today and found this stuff because we came to the conclusion it has to be se type of skin condition dermititis or parasitic…wasn't too sure but his skin was soooo dandruffy and flaking . Used this as soon as we got home. Followed directions. Left on for 15 minutes ….after he dried off noticed NO DANDRUFF FLAKES!! I rubbed down his back and his back wasn't crunching up from inflammation like it usually does wen I softly scratch down his back . instantly shiny and softer . Happy dog. My 14 year old Chihuahua had weeks of horrible itching and scratching. He had terrible hard scales peeling off of his back that started in small patches and then spread to most of his back. Some of the spots started to bleed. I could not afford hundreds of dollars the vet wanted just for lab tests alone. I kept special Vasaline on him and that helped some. My wife wanted my little faithful pal put down but I couldn't do it. I researched this medicine and after one treatment for 15 minutes he had INSTANT relief from scratching! On the third day I did the second treatment and he was already healing and the scaly crap was washing off. I am now on the sixth day and fourth treatment and he is totally healed and it looks like his hair is growing back. THANK GOD! My little pal stays wrapped up in warm towels after he is soaked down with about 3 spoons worth and warm water. It goes a LONG way!! After 15 minutes I rinse him off very good. I got Luna July 5 2021 heartworm positive. After the extensive treatment from the humane society her monthly regimen was Sentinal spectrum. I am happy to report that she is now heartworm negative so we're sticking with it. Fleas, she does still pick up fleas and of course they don't die until they bite. Regular combing still necessary.YeCats

I had searched for literally months on end searching for the right flea preventive because my vet supplied nexgaurd wasn't working but for about 2 weeks and would lose its effectiveness. I have a 9 pound dachshund that likes to play in the grass and roll around. He always seems to have fleas on him. Luckily no ticks. When I ran across this product that works on as many worms and the added bonus of heart worms and fleas I couldn't pass it up. Plus it's at a very fair price for what you get. Now keep in mind also I'm reviewing during the winter months in Louisiana where recently we have had weeks below 20 degrees so fleas aren't prevalent at this time. I'm writing this review because I've read too many other reviews that gave stated this product has some how controlled ticks. It does NOT. This is the only product my 10-lb. Maltese can stomach. Prior treatment with the combination of Heartguard (heart worms..) and Nexguard (flees AND ticks) proved too much for his system. Within hours of that combination he had severe diareah and vomiting. The Sentinel Spectrum works for my dog breed because he is small, has fine white short "hair", with a pinkish skin. In other words it is easy for me to see ticks on him, which I check for after each outing. I also live 10- miles from Lyme, Ct., so I know how to be vigilant about these nasty little creatures. In other poster's reviews they stated they no longer had a tick problem. Sentinel Spectrum does not prevent/treat/stop ticks at all. Also, it does not kill adult flees. It does however kill laid flee eggs. I love this product for my breed of dog. Unfortunately if you have a large, or even small very furry dog do not count on this for tick prevention or adult flee killing. But, if you are like me with dog who's fur/skin can easily be checked it's a great product!Digginit
