Day 1, everyone but my huge male cat is terrified of the fish so he shows them that there is nothing to be scared of. Day 2, kitten is now copying the other cat and won't leave the fish alone, but toddler sees it and starts crying. I have had this toy for 6 months and the fact it is still hanging in there just astounds my. My cat has put more than your usual hours of use into changing, mauling, and playing tug of war with this toy. You grab the fishing pole and shake it so the reel makes it tapping noise and he literally runs from wherever he is to play. He is OBSESSED! The pole has held his full weight more than once. The fish has recently started to show its wear, it no longer has catnip in it and slowly is shredding apart, but I am not upset In the least as it has gotten way more than the costs worth of play and my cat still loves it just as much.ChelseyM
This Go Fish Teaser Wand is a favorite of my kitty. He likes the look of the rod and wheel, wanting to learn how it works. The blue fish has glittery tail fins that grab his attention for play. The only difficulty is that the string needs to be helped with your other hand to land it where you want, but it's great not having to get up and bring it back myself … play lasts longer.RoverGal
It’s a good idea for this toy,but there are several flaws. The string is only held onto the reel by rubber bands and when tossed and my cat grabs it,it easily comes undone posing as a choking hazard. I solved this by tying the string to the rubber band and putting it back onto the reel. The second flaw is that the string is waayy too short for actual play. Maybe for a kitten it’s alright but not for a full grown catMeowhousekick24

Best floating toy we've found and we've used a bunch – Frisbees made of neoprene, rubbery frisbee things with buoyant material in them, tennis balls, floating kongs, plastic bumpers, floating animal toys but this is by far the best. We've had four golden retrievers over the last few years and live on a lake. When I ran across this while searching for a new water fetch toy it was exactly what I wanted. The trouble with all the other toys we've tried is they are either too low profile or dark in color – in both cases they would get "lost" in the water and it's hard for the dogs to track unless the water is flat calm. With the chuckit toys (shark fin, duck butt or gator) the bright color and the fact they sit 4" or so inches above the water line make them easy to find. Like ALL of the other options (save for tennis balls) these are NOT CHEW TOYS! Yes, if you let your dog alone with it they will eviscerate it quickly. But the fabric is tough, the rubber is soft and it flies great. I'll throw these 100' or so off the pier and the dogs will fetch them for hours. We've bought some for friends and have worn a few out but will keep coming back to these!B.T.
This is a great float toy it's super easy to see but it's also fun on the dry floor. it's weighted construction let's it wobble on the floor and my puppy finds it amusing as can be. Seems like great material by Shepard mix puppy hasn't been able to make a mark in it yet. Very happy for the cost.M.
I love Chuckit products and when my dog saw her new shark fin, she knew by the color that it was going to be another favorite water toy. We are very careful to only let her fetch it from the water and we put it away every time shes done playing. There are some tooth marks already from my chocolate lab so I have durability 4. Overall fantastic product and more durable than any other brand Ive bought her so far.M.
