Got this to entertain my 16 week old Border Collie puppy when I leave the house. He loved it but destroyed it within about 3 days. Broke through the canvas and got the stuffing out. My dogs love these. Not going to lie, when I first purchased these, I didn’t really understand how they worked. I would fill with treats then feel disappointed when it only entertained my dogs 10 minutes. I have since adopted a hyperactive Labrador; while researching ways to calm him down, kongs kept coming up in the blogs. I watched some videos on how to use them for training purposes and have learned how to stuff them in a way that keeps my dogs entertained for a long time. I use a combination of kibble, canned dog food, and other healthy food options, layer it all in the Kong, then freeze. My dogs are stupid excited to see me pull these out of the freezer. I always buy a size larger than I think I need to ensure my dogs don’t choke or get their tongues stuck and that’s worked out great. Very happy with these, we have about 12 of them. My dogs had this for about a year. He’s a 22 lb Italian Greyhound mix who isn’t destructive (the pic attached is him 🥰). I included this information because I can’t vouch for the durability if you have a chewer. The material seems durable though. It does have a rubber smell that is kind of annoying and it takes a long time to go away. If you’re sensitive to smell you might want to avoid this. My review is for the XLarge KONG Wubba – NOT the small. MY dogs are nuts about KONG Wubba's. A couple of generations of Scotties have now had these toys – I've tried XL/L/M – prefer the XL. Scottish Terriers have extremely powerful jaws and set upon these toys with just one thing in mind – KILL IT!!! They relish in shaking the toy and are further encouraged in their endeavours as the "tails" of the toy make a flappity-flap sound. I do not allow the dogs to play with their Wubba's for long – as they truly do kill them. So I rescue the Wubba's and place them in a toy box that is hidden in a closet. Each night after we Pet Parents have had dinner, I remove the toy box and the "boys" may select a toy of choice, Well, if there are Wubba's in that box – that is the #1 in choice. We have a 9 year old staffy X fox terrier who loves to chew and also throw toys around. We got this because we read how durable it was. However after a few months she'd managed to put a hole in it and the string stuff that comes off it is kind of dangerous if ingested… She swallowed a huge wad of string and we had to call the vet in fear of a blockage in her bowel… Just be warned and be careful and monitor your pet if they have a strong chew.Kara

This is a nice-sized, well-made toy for a large dog, and we like that there is only a small section that contains filler that can be spread around the house if and when it gets chewed open. We could tell by our dog's reaction that she could hear the squeaker, even though we couldn't. Unfortunately, she's just a chewing maniac with strong jaws and tore some holes in it and broke the squeaker within a few days, thus the 4 stars instead of 5. We had hoped it would last longer. She chewed off one of the "paws" and carried that around for a few days, even sleeping with it, which was quite cute. We're just thankful she's always been respectful of our belongings and only chews up her own toys!Michele C.

I have a English Lab and this would be his 3rd Kong toy. I have: 1. The old fashioned Kong (looks sort of like a michelin man in red) 2. The Small solid Red Kong Ball. I liked the idea of the hollow ball, because Mirrors, etc. have been broken from the solid ball. I originally bought this toy for my mini doxie because he went crazy for it at the store, and he seems to love green toys. After I removed the tags at home, it took all of 5 minutes before he chewed little holes in the legs and now they don’t move when you push the squeaker, and it also barely squeaks anymore. The thin felt arms were the next victim. I basically wasted $20. Don’t recommend this toy for chewers.Trish92
